Name: Shio Ma
Alias(es): TBD
Alliance: Bae-Ja
Appearance:1585280895694.jpeg
Height: 6ft 1in
Weight: 170
Personality: kind yet reserved; lazy but exciteable; enjoys a fight, but doesn’t like to dominate

Regular or Irregular: regular

Background: Shio grew up only ever knowing one thing. Fighting. Not the fun kind either. Born an orphan to unknown and likely unremarkable parents, he was dropped off at a dojo as an infant. Abandoned, only to be Raised harshly by combat Monks under the Ha family, on the expectation that one day he would become a regular, enter the tower, become a ranker, and serve not only the Ha family, but also Zahard. Day after day, from the age of four, he was trained with other orphans, who were pitted against each other despite being in the same situation. Often going to sleep bruised and bloody. his life knew no breaks nor peace nor affection. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, shio developed a light heart. He never took things too seriously, and when they did get to serious he always tried to smile in spite of it. Perhaps his ability to do so was due to his natural ability, being one of the greatest pupils of his age group. whenever he was forced to pummel another boy, or break someone who was too weak to continue, he felt pity and sadness, but always tried to smile through it.

After several years, he grew bored and tired of the Monks relentless teachings. The Ha family had barely taken notice of him, despite the monks immense praise, calling him a protégée like they had never seen. Though the Ha family still only saw him, and anyone else beneath them, as simple servants to serve a purpose.

At the age of 16 he had already surpassed everything they could hope to teach him, and already had a good understanding of shinsoo control. Yet still, he was not chosen to enter the tower. He wanted a test. He wanted something to fight for. The blood of all those other pupils on his hands called out for something greater than life in a dojo. Then he heard it. The message from Bae-Ja... uproot the empire of zahard? The Ha family served Zahard... and this dojo served he Ha family.... that was it! He knew his destiny was to help bring about the end of the Zahard regime! That night was the final night under the dojo of Ha. The next morning he set out to find a way to climb the tower.

Months passed, with nothing, then years. No one knew how to get into he tower other than to wait to be selected. Shio was optimistic though, his life had taught him that persistence and perseverance won over all. eventually the day would come that he was traveling deep into a mountain, lost within an impossible maze of caves and caverns, food and water gone. After three long years of searching, He would find a massive ornate door, beside walls of equally ornate carvings. What had he found? Surely this couldn’t be it? With the last of his strength, he pushed open the doors to find... a simple cavern with old tones and scrolls. A forgotten library of sorts. Ship collapsed, broken and crestfallen.

“Why won’t you just chose me!” He had screamed into the endless void, his body to weak to continue he fell to the ground, figuring that this must be how he died, but finally he heard a magical voice, unlike any he had ever heard before.

“So.... you wish to enter the tower?”

-----------------------------------------------------------

Position: fisherman
Weapon(s): gauntlets or knuckles

Gimmick and Fightstyle (the principles which dictates how your character battles and utilizes their shinsoo and other abilities): Shio is fairly adept at physical enhancement. It being the first and easiest thing to learn in the dojo. Adept in multiple martial arts styles, Shio is dangerous in melee combat. He prefers the martial arts style of Baguazheng, circling his opponent for fast strikes and critical strikes.

Aranea Blanche

[/div]
Basic:
aliases: the white widow
gender/pronoun: cis-female, she/her
status: regular

Appearance:
height: 160 cm (5'2)
weight: 98 lbs (44 kg)
Aranea bears a relatively average, perhaps slightly slim, build for her height. She bore read eyes, strawberry blonde hair that she claims to be natural, despite the intensity of pink appearing a bit too artificial for this to be true. In contrast to this, she adores wearing striking outfit, mostly coming in the shades or red. These outfits often appear too stylish, somewhat out of place and frequently inconvenient. She, however, did not seem to mind this.

Personality:
Aranea likes to think of herself as cheerful, a bit too much for her own good perhaps. She was rarely seen without a smile, and this may sometimes come in the most inappropriate of times, as she is not the best in reading situations. She adores cracking jokes, even more so when people laughs at them. Friendly, mildly flirty, warm, it was hard to not like her. She likes to take everything lightly, walking down the streets with a confident stride. Confident could be her middle name, and she adores it. Some might envy her, and she adores that, too. It was a shame that the smile she has, despite its brightness, would hide a different side few could see.

While she dislikes hand-to-hand combat, claiming it to be "inelegant", which results to her favouring the light-bearer position, as she could simply sit quietly and make herself pretty. Despite so, she has a certain cruel fascination to seeing people submit to her. The red she favors so much, after all, was derived from the shade of a particular liquid.

She has yet revealed her reasons of climbing the tower.

Biography:
The Blanche family is relatively wealthy family, and despite the stigma that revolves around them, they had a particularly peaceful family. A loving husband, and a loving wife, showering all their love for their only child, Aranea. Everyone knew them to have lived most of their lives being honest people, having an honest business. Aranea was spoiled rotten, and she grown up used to being viewed her as a princess. Everything she wants, she gets. She was beautiful, she was sweet. With their blinded love, little did the Blanche pair knew what was going on within their beloved daughter's head. It was only one day, when they have discovered her hand coated in red, her pet cat dead, and she only smiled, was when they began to notice what was happening. Little Aranea did not know of anything, however, nor did she know her mistakes. All she knew was that one fine day, she was sent away, never to see her parents again.

And years went by.

Aranea has never felt more alone. She felt betrayed, abandoned. She did not like her new place, and she never grew to like it. It was bland, it was boring, it was white. Day after day felt the same. She kept trying to find ways to make things interesting, but to no avail. Books were her only source of escape. She wondered when she could finally feel the fresh air once again, her hands in papa and mama's. She began to question and question, to what she knows and what she doesn't. What were they hiding from her? She grit her teeth, nails digging in her palm. Longing turned to anger.

Another few years went by.

Of course, she was young. She did not understand, what her parents had for her, their secret affiliation with Zahard, and their plans on making their little girl a Princess of Zahard. All concealed in the facade of a beautiful family.

As she grew tired of lamenting her misery, lying on her back, gazing out the window- she suddenly heard a voice.

Combat:
position: light-bearer
weapon(s):
- a special whip she customized on her own. rubies adorned its hilt, silver base carved in shapes of roses. it's compact and retractable, often placed on her hip in a belt.
- a dagger, with a similar aesthetic. she has a pouch around her left-thigh. often used just in emergencies
max baang: TBA
max myun/baang: TBA
max soo/bang: TBA
misc. abilities: Aranea is known to be quite cunning, a thinker outside-the-box. It was why she was preferred in the light-bearer position. Despite her "hobbies", she was not actually all that athletic, being more speed-y than strong. In fact, she is very weak when it comes to direct combat. Whip and daggers aside, her strongest weapon is still her tongue (and her smile).

Name: Nyra Carciphi
Alias(es):
Alliance: Zahard
Appearance: Nyra is usually covered from head to foot in cloth bandaging that's been soaked in oil. This is because her skin is extremely sensitive to drying out, so she has to protect it from heat and light. Beneath the wrappings her skin is black and smooth, almost like a frog's, and her entire body is extremely thin and bony. Her fingers, usually padded with extra cloth, are actually thin and needle-like, and her mouth is filled with many small but extremely sharp teeth. She has triangular ears, cat-like in shape, that are usually pressed flat against her head but can actually move in every direction separately.
Height: 4'7"
Weight: 75 lbs
Personality: Nyra is shy and pretty quiet, but oftentimes her curiosity gets the better of her and she can't help herself from asking nonstop questions about things. She wants to know about everything new she sees. She's accustomed to survival of the fittest and understands that fighting is necessary to climb the tower, but that doesn't mean she likes it, and she'll try to stop unnecessary fighting between friends.
Regular or Irregular: Regular
If Regular, Home Floor: 129

Biography: Nyra is climbing the tower in order to find her brother.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Position: Wave Controller
Weapon(s): Nyra is pretty terrible with most types of weapons, so it's not too big of a surprise that her Arms Inventory doesn't have any real weapons. Instead it holds a number of glass orbs.
Gimmick and Fightstyle: Nyra has near zero fighting skill. She'd prefer to avoid situations that call for violence.

75606035_p2_master1200.jpgName: Seo-Ye Choi
Alias(es): N/A
Alliance: Zahard (Neutral)
Regular or Irregular: Regular
If Regular, Home Floor: 96

Height: 163cm
Weight: 54kg

Appearance: A squirrelly young woman lacking meat on her bones, both where she wants it and where it counts. Seo-Ye isn't a particularly impressive specimen, not blessed with extreme grace, nor dedicated enough to groom herself into either a waifish beauty or a heroic amazon. Her hair is usually styled quickly and loosely, tied into a pair of shoulder length pigtails on either side of her head.

She clothes herself in ragged, baggy dress, the likes of which that are usually popular with urban youths. Singlets, oversized jackets are various forms of track suit shorts are the staples of her wardrobe, prizing the ultility offered by their freedom of movement over the trendier fashions popular in more opulent regions of the Tower. She's also quite fond of piercings, having decorated her ears with a number of them that rotate in and out of use periodically.

Seo-Ye's most striking feature is undoubtedly her 'eyes', which glimmer in her sockets with a soft light. In actuality, they are a pair of Observers that've been modified to act as a pair of cybernetic eyes. Aside from the kite-shaped pattern that has replaced her pupils and irises, they're hard to distinguish from a natural pair of eyes at a glance, and are more often presumed to be the result some sort of archaic hex rather than a technological enhancement by the uninformed.

Personality: Whether skulking through dreary back streets, or sifting through the shelves of some old, forgotten store, Seo-Ye makes for a snug fit into the typical stereotype of an urban youth. She's brash, uncouth, and generally is the sort of person that anyone of bluer blood wouldn't be caught dead talking to. Her most base of inclinations is that of the spirit of competition. She's of the stripe the constantly wants to prove oneself, and pursue further and loftier heights that what she's reached in days past.

She enjoys the company of others, but has little in the way of infatuation with concepts like camaraderie or teamwork. The young woman that she sees in the mirror is a lone wolf, so she says, unbound by the trifles that would come with tying herself down to any one batch of allies, regardless of how strongly the prevailing wisdom of the Tower may advise against such a mindset. She's not the sort of person who would betray someone she's working with for kicks, but her loyalty does come quite cheaply. It's a harsh world, and she's long since decided to only look out for Number One.

Biography: For the entirety of her youth, Seo-Ye knew not what the world looked like, nor even the appearance of her own self. That is to say, she was born blind. Presumably discarded as useless by a pair of parents looking to bring a Regular into the family, she was passed around orphanages during her childhood. Eventually, she was taken in by something closer to a facility than a home; a Workshop-operated apartment complex that specialized in housing denizens of the Tower plagued by more mundane tragedies like her own.

Of course, given the operators, it wasn't exactly something ran out of the spirit of charity. The operation, in a phrase, was tit-for-tat. In exchange for submitting themselves to whatever Workshop study was doing the rounds, occupants were clothed, fed, and given a roof over their heads. As the occupants weren't even Regulars, much less "Worthy Ones", they hardly had the privileged of being exposed to such elaborate experiments as the Living Ignition Weapon project, instead being used for their more mundane or uncertain tests. Both routine studies and random disappearances were the norm for the facility's charges, and Seo-Ye just happened to draw a luckier set of sticks than most.

After living in the facility for some uncertain amount of years, she was approached with an offer to participate in an early round of surgeries involving "the next generation of Observers", or so they put it. In many more words, they were pitched to her as something that wouldn't just grant her the ability to perceive the world around her, but outperform those who'd had the gift of vision for their entire life.

Of course, she accepted with hesitation.

What followed was a spattering of months spent in isolation, the hum-drum of the facility replaced by a life ruled by a carefully designed medical regime. During her time there, she came more familiar with the touch of cold steel than she ever would have cared to, but for not even an instant did she regret it.

When her operations were finished and light flowed into her eyes for the first time, she experienced the closest thing to childlike glee she had in her life, only to have it stamped out like an ember underfoot. The Workshop was not a charity, and even if she'd been paid for her time spent under the scalpel it wouldn't have come close to compensating for the work of the Disciples involved in her case. When she was eventually turned free from the facility, she left with a new perspective on the world, in more ways than one.

For a number of years after that she simply toiled away, picking up whatever jobs she could and funneling practically everything she earned into repaying her debt, or the maintenance of her eyes. The world, which had so briefly seemed so colourful and vast, quickly became a drudge of grey monotony. At some point she started to lash out, involving herself with a ring of Outer Tower gangs that'd managed to carve a niche for themselves as small fish in an even smaller pond.

It was pathetic, she was well aware, but given her circumstances it was the only way she could puzzle out to find some semblance of purpose in her life; or at least it was, until a voice descended from the heavens and invited her to a place she'd almost forgotten even existed.

And so, she became a Regular.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Position: Scout
Weapon: Curved Dagger
Gimmick and Fightstyle: Go fast, predict what the enemy is trying to do, and then either dodge or stop them from doing it. Seo-Ye prefers, longer, drawn out battles, spending her time adapting to the enemy's tactics. While 'studying' she'll inflict minor wounds where ever she's able, attempting to whittle down the opponent over the course of a battle before eventually closing in once she feels comfortable enough in her knowledge of their combat abilities.

Maximum Baang: 0
Maximum Myun in a Single Baang: 0
Maximum Soo in a Single Baang: 0%

Other Miscellaneous Abilities and Combat Information:
  • Observer - Seo-Ye's eyes have both been replaced by Observers, which tap directly into her brain to feed her additional information about the world. She has an enhanced perception for the general flow of Shinsoo, enhancing her ability to predict and react to enemy movements. Furthermore, she's able to launch them out of her skull and control them remotely, allowing her to directly view the battlefield from all manner of angles.

Name:
Khonsu
Alias(es):
Jin-Shi Huang, Fulong.
Alliance with Zahard or Bae-Ja:
Neutral (Zahard Aligned)
Appearance:
929baafa2247a2fd6f7b4be9f07bec03dde39a1f.png
Height:

5’11
Weight:
158lbs
Personality:
Khonsu is quite a calm and subtle man, he is not one who likes to impose himself on others and he takes no joy in standing out or inspiring awe. Blending in with the crowd, secrecy and subterfuge, that is more along the lines with his nature. One might get the impression that Khonsu is lazy or even dull witted due to some of his behaviours, for even in the most minor of situations he often has the habit of taking a while to ponder on how he should act. Albeit not quite a sage there is some wisdom within him and when he has made up his mind he has no problems acting out what he has planned, for better or for worse of course.

He may not throw himself into the brunt of a battle or act quickly on his instincts but he is quite brave and is capable of dealing with a significant amount of pressure. His sense of humour can at times rub people the wrong way, he is not insulting or anything like that people just find it very odd and uncomfortable… It gives people the impression that he might be quite an evil guy when in truth his heart is fairly good… for the most part.

Biography:
An irregular, an unchosen one, a man from the outside. It is not known what reasons led Khonsu to seek the tower and enter it, however it can be assumed that they were for without a doubt selfish ones.

Outside of the tower he did have a family, his mother and older sister to be exact. His father had passed away while he was young, too young for Khonsu to ever really grow attached to him really, and so instead of losing his father it felt more like he never had one to begin with. The grief that his mother experienced however did affect him greatly as it did his sister. For quite a while his life was what he himself describes as uncomfortable. It did not take long for his older sister to leave him and his mother.

That time Khonsu did feel the loss, but perhaps his new duties of caring and looking after his mother forced him to ignore that. Of course as one could expect the situation only worsened before it got better. Not much is known of the world outside, but during his time there Khonsu did travel a fair amount, never staying in one place for long. To begin with it was all four of his family members. But before he knew it he was alone, it must have been over many years but he could not help but feel that they had left him in the blink of an eye. What an odd feeling.

Then he decided to enter the tower… Seemingly without reason. Or perhaps he entered because he had no reason not to? Oh well, in the end he felt he did not particularly care for the outside world. Now the climb begins.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Position:
Spearbearer

Weapon:
A Switchblade

Gimmick and Fightstyle:
When possible Khonsu likes to stick to a ranged position, hopefully overwhelming his opponent with the accuracy and power of his attacks. If it has to come to hand to hand combat then the plan most of the time is to rush in, try and get a hit in, and immediately disengage. Before and during battle Khonsu prefers to gather as much information as he can; whether it be about his opponents, the environment, or other relevant extraneous factors. Good preparation and planning is the key to victory in his mind after all.

Maximum Baang: 0

Maximum Myun in a Single Baang): 0

Maximum Soo in a Single Baang: 0

Other Miscellaneous Abilities and Combat Information:

Stealth - Khonsu is surprisingly adept at hiding, sneaking around unnoticed, and launching surprise ambushes.
Acrobatic - A very impressive level of flexibility and control mixed with training and experience has made Khonsu very dexterous and agile.

Anastasia Cressida Zahard

Alias(es):
Choi Hye-jin, Anastasia Cressida Killinger

Alliance:
Zahard

Appearance:
cac143c149fb98df1ded90fa186ee536.jpgIt is quite difficult to mistake Anastasia for any other Regular, for the lone fact that she possesses a pair of wolf's ears on her head and a tail. Anastasia has gray hair, and yellow eyes, and, when her ears are not visible, is often characterised by her red fur-trimmed jacket, which doubles as a utility pouch of sorts, on account of all the pockets it features. Anastasia, herself, is a lean, slender being, lacking fat, but possessing some muscle, but most of it is hidden under her choice of clothing, and the fact that she strives to keep attention off her body by wearing the most unflattering clothing. She wears a necklace with a pendant that features the three-eyed symbol of Zahard, but she hides it under her clothes, and tries not to reveal it to anyone if possible.

Height:
165 cm

Weight:
60 kg

Personality:
Cold and aloof, Hye-jin isn't one to 'make friends'. Uneasy alliances, maybe, but Hye-jin would rather not burden herself with the weight of the problems of others. She would rather not burden others with the weight she carries as well. As much as she understands that a weight shouldered by many is half the work done, Hye-jin believes that her weight is far heavier than any other would be able to carry. As a result, she distances herself from her peers, choosing to keep her thoughts to herself rather than to share them with others, and vice versa.

Hye-jin has a grasp on what is right, and what is wrong, however, and this steers most of her actions. She will always attempt to do the 'right' thing as far as she can see. However, she is myopic to a fault. Unable to see the forest for the trees, she is what others would call a 'small steps strategist', planning only for the close future, rather than for the long term. She adopts a 'cross that bridge when she gets there's attitude, and, though flawed, it has carried her through life so far.

Regular or Irregular:
Regular

Home Floor:
99

Biography:
Choi Hye-jin never really knew her original family. She didn't even remember how her life was before she met Dr. Killinger, the patriarch of one of branches of the Ten Great Families. All she knew was that she had blood on her hands long before she became a part of the Killinger Family, having fought tooth and nail to survive in some terrible place, struggling for scraps of food, and murdering all those around her, just to survive. Those memories were muddied, and she had no wish to clean them off. The start of her life was when Dr. Killinger, her 'father', took hold of her hands, covered in blood, and draped his coat around her.

Taken away from her cruel world, and brought into one of relative comfort, Hye-jin was introduced to the Killinger Family as an adopted daughter. She was clothed properly, and given real food to eat, but Dr. Killinger made it very clear what her true purpose was. She was chosen purely because he needed someone to protect his biological daughters. She was their 'sister' in name only. Her duty was to ensure their safety. Hye-jin didn't really care what her purpose was. She had food, she had a comfortable bed, she had a father figure who genuinely looked after her- it was all she needed. So she served, and she served well, baring the fangs of a wolf when needed, and protecting her sisters from the dangers that plagued the family.

Hye-jin's ability did not go unnoticed. After an unspecified time with the family, she was consecutively adopted by Zahard himself to become a princess of Zahard. Taking on the name of Anastasia Cressida Zahard, she was expected to climb the tower to meet her destiny. While initially repulsed by the idea that she would have to leave Dr. Killinger behind, and her quarries to fend for themselves, insistence from the elderly gentleman's part to carry out her duty had her go through with it in the end. She didn't care if it was so that the Killinger Family would gain some clout in the political scene by having not only another Ranker amongst them, but a Princess. All she knew was that it was good for the family that took her in.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Position:
Light-bearer

Weapon(s):
Throwing knives

Gimmick and Fightstyle:
On the surface, Anastasia's style of combat is fairly simple to parse- throw her knives at an enemy at range, and use her knives as daggers in close range.

Closer inspection, however, would reveal that she never goes on the offensive, relying on her opponent to make the first move to engage her in close quarters. Her thrown knives are mostly to pin slower opponents down or injure them, or at the very least, annoy them into moving in into a more comfortable range for her to engage them in. Furthermore, her style in close quarters revolves around blocking and parrying with small knives like hers, redirecting blows away from her and slicing tiny pieces off her opponent, one cut at a time. She makes minimal movements and expends very little energy to dance about her opponents, drawing blood each time her knives flash in the light, crippling them limb by limb. She moves like a dancer in combat, following the tempo of the battle with a discerning ear.

Other Miscellaneous Abilities and Combat Information:
Anastasia has heightened sense of hearing and smell, being able to hear minute sounds and sniff out a person's scent from a fair distance away. This bites her in the ass when it comes to extremely strong smells or loud sounds, and all the other obvious weaknesses that come with it.

Sum-Gil_Bust.pngName: Sum-Gil Bo Jun
Alias(es): N/A
Alliance with Zahard or Bae-Ja: Zahard
Height: 185.4 cm (6’1”)
Weight: 68.9 kg (152 lbs)
Personality:
Sum-Gil is astoundingly prideful. Informed by a mix of insecurity and overconfidence, he has little patience for others. Despite this his mouth is often shut into an uptight smirk. A deep feeling of inadequacy rules over most of what Sum-Gil does, making him timid or even nonconfrontational. Only when he feels absolutely superior to someone or when he has socially entered fight-or-flight do small quips about others come out. To put it more simply, Sum-Gil is a very poor loser.

Still there is another side to him. Sum-Gil quite perplexingly appreciates people who are deliberate in their actions. Perhaps he sees who he wishes he was in others, or he just appreciates another people having some initiative. Whatever it is, he doesn’t like to think about it, and prefers simply to gravitate towards the intentful. Additionally Sum-Gil is very observant. Despite his unpleasant mannerisms he watches almost everything that goes on around him, remembering small details. In some lucky circumstances these have even led to Sum-Gil accidentally saying something rather friendly. But these are far a few between compared to the jabs he typically lets loose at his companions.

Biography

Sum-Gil Bo Jun was born on the 35th floor to one of the less important branches of the Jun family. Still, he was more privileged than most in the tower. He received exceptional schooling and training from his family, as well as an introduction to the family’s cult-like worship of Zahard. While he mainly simply paid the God-King business lip service a little bit crept into him by a fairly young age.

His life truly started when he saw the first group of siblings get ‘expelled’. This marked a change in Sum-Gil. He became much quieter and drew further into himself, preferring to focus on his studies and training rather than behaving as most of his siblings did. Of course, after a few years most of the siblings who were left were just like him. Sum-Gil continued his quiet competition to succeed and move forwards. While he didn’t understand what he was doing, Sum-Gil recognized that entering the tower would be the surest way of moving forwards.
Naturally he was not the family’s first choice for most things. In fact, Sum-Gil was hardly a second choice for anything at all. But he persisted, becoming the only member of his branch of the family to graduate from the family’s school that year. Sum-Gil took additional time after his graduation to train himself physically, focusing on more than just fighting.

Then, at the direction of the Jun family he entered the tower.

Position:
Scout
Weapon(s): Hands, Needle
Gimmick and Fightstyle: Sum-Gil fights rather fast and loose. As long as he can finish something quickly it works in his book. Fittingly he is very agile and possesses very fine motor control. Despite that his attacks quickly lose strength as a fight drags on, leaving Sum-Gil very vulnerable if his initial efforts are not successful.

Maximum Soo in a Single Baang: 1%
Other Miscellaneous Abilities and Combat Information:
Sum-Gil has a natural proficiency for spreading out the area that his Shinsoo can affect. While this is not very useful to him as a beginner, Jun family elders believe he could serve a role similar to a Wave-Controller in combat, if he trains effectively. That is truly a big if, however.
The Jun Family

The Jun Family is one of the new Great Families, which was promoted by Zahard following Bae-Ja’s rise. While rather unspectacular the Jun family has consistently produced Regular Scouts and Fishermen of high quality, including a number of less important Rankers. The family is separated into six cadet branches of the family, each denoted by the family name of the head before the Jun name, hence Sum-Gil Bo Jun’s two family names, Bo and Jun. They are additionally known for their unwavering worship of Zahard.
While the family is fairly unimportant in terms of power or influence, they make up for it in sheer numbers, and consistency. The Jun family is notorious for being ridiculously large to the point that some of the cadet branches of the family alone have as many members as established Great Families. Additionally, the members of the Jun Family who are best suited to the Scout and Fisherman positions tend to climb the tower at a much greater rate than the other members of the family who become Regulars, although no reason for this phenomenon has been found (According the heads of the family).

Operating from the main family’s house is a large school for all children of the family. For the first ten years of a child’s education they are considered ‘safe’, in that no matter how little they may learn they are allowed to remain at the school. However, after a student has attended the school for ten years they may be expelled and forced to return to their birth-families. Those that ‘graduate’ after an additional five years of training in various martial arts are permitted to climb the tower with the family’s blessing.
The Jun family is marked by a distinctive dash of light grey hair running across the front of their black hair. Offset by the family’s more distinctive dark grey eyes and pale skin, many Juns often appear as if they are blushing.

Name: Sing Lo Po Bia
Alias(es):
Alliance: Zahard
Appearance: A boy of below-average stature with a perpetually unexpressive face. He has bright blue eyes and pale blue hair with two soft ears sticking out of the top of his head. He doesn't care much about his appearance, so he just wears whatever is most comfortable.
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 120 lbs
Personality: Sing is that odd kind of person that considers themselves a background character even within the context of their own life. He's a passive observer that only ever reacts to what happens around him, never choosing anything for himself. The only real decision he's ever made in all his life was on accident, just him running from making a different important choice. Sing doesn't show his feelings on his face, but that's probably because he just doesn't feel strongly about much of anything. More than anything, he's just terrified of doing something wrong and disappointing... he isn't sure who, but surely someone cares about him enough to be disappointed in him.
Regular or Irregular: Regular
If Regular, Home Floor: 115
Biography: The Lo Po Bia family has always wanted more power for itself. This led to them doing many underhanded things operating under Zahard, and now going so far as to betray Zahard just for the possibility of obtaining even more power for themselves. Sing was born an anomaly into that family as a boy devoid of ambition. He possessed no remarkable strength or talents, and so he was easily ignored by the family, which suited him just fine. He was content being a nobody within the family. No one expected anything from him, so he wouldn't disappoint anyone. He just wanted to avoid causing trouble for people more important than himself. Day to day Sing was content to spend his time alone with just a book and Oz for companions. The first real choice he was ever faced with was when the family defected, and he wasn't even able to make that decision for himself. Headon showed Sing a way to run away from making that important decision, by climbing the tower. In the moment, he failed to see that Headon's offer before him was just as weighty a choice as the one he was running from.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Position: Wave Controller
Weapon(s): A fishing pole that doubles as a wand, a collection of small needles and hooks, a small slug named Oz that secretes a powerful neurotoxin (do not lick), and any small objects nearby not nailed down.
Gimmick and Fightstyle: Sing uses Shinsoo to move objects remotely. His primary use is to direct the small needle at the end of his fishing pole's line to pierce whomever is threatening him. The neurotoxin on the needle is usually enough to neutralize any threat.
Maximum Baang: 2
Maximum Myun in a Single Baang: 2
Maximum Soo in a Single Baang: 8%
Other Miscellaneous Abilities and Combat Information: Sing is extremely passive, even when it comes to fighting. He doesn't use weapons or shinsoo to hurt others, only taking them out of the fight. He's terrible at concentrating shinsoo enough to attack with it directly, which is why he instead uses it to move other things.
