Finally, it was time for the new year to commence. Some could not wait to get back to Hogwarts, others hated it for the studying aspect. Nicole was in between those two ideas, as Hogwarts had become home to her a long time ago from today. She wasn't ecstatic about having to study for certain subjects again, such as Divination. Her favourite subject had to be Defense Against the Dark Arts, a class in which she could unleash her full potential and learn of spells that could possibly save her life in the near future. Despite not having the greatest relationship with Professor Snape, without the teacher being put into consideration, D.A.D.A was the subject she excelled the most in.
Nicole stood before Platform 9¾, staring at the brick wall from behind her trolley that her luggage was hauled onto. Her grey bengal cat, Bliss, seemed unbothered and continued her rest upon the brown suitcase, and Nicole took a deep breath. Despite having gone through the platform on multiple occasions, the idea of possibly crashing into the brick wall and having her belongings, and her cat, flying all over the place did not please her. But as she gave the trolley a hard push and went warping through the brick wall, she released the breath she had been holding, the atmosphere around her completely changing within a second. Not in the sense that the aesthetics of the train platform changed, but now she recognized most of the faces surrounding her. It placed a small, satisfied smile on her face, and Bliss leaped off toward the ground as Nicole reached for her baggage, hauling it down on the concrete with a strong thud, though the loud sound was drowned out by the chatter surrounding her.
George Weasley let out a cheer of elation as he and his twin brother sprinted at full speed toward that special brick wall. Most students would run like 'normal' people through the wall, however there was no such thing as normal for the Weasley twins. While George was pushing the trolley forward, Fred was sat on top of the luggage with his legs crossed and a grin plastered onto his face. Just a few metres before reaching the wall, George launched himself up from the ground and hopped onto the suitcases right next to Fred. A tight fit, though fun. Roars of laughter escaped them as they appeared on the other side of the wall, individually getting off of their travel bags. George dusted the back of his pants off, before his brown eyes began to scan his surroundings in search of any familiar faces.
"You're both insane," he heard the very familiar voice of his younger brother, Ronald, retort as he appeared from the brick wall, seemingly having gone through it like everyone else did; by running, not jumping onto it like maniacs. He and his brother laughed simultaenously, before ignoring the comment and watching the rest of his family pour out of the wall. After an excessively long amount of time spent exchanging farewells, his parents let them be and headed off. Ronald strayed away from the twins toward Hermione and Harry, Ginny ran off somewhere, and Fred decided he wanted to catch up with his friends, one of whom had not replied back to his letters all summer. So there stood George, looking around like a lost puppy, a very tall one at that. In fear of being late, his family always made him arrive at the station earlier and therefore, not all of his friends were there. Especially the ones who tended to accidentally sleep in after their alarm, which included the majority of his snoozing friends.
