Finally, it was time for the new year to commence. Some could not wait to get back to Hogwarts, others hated it for the studying aspect. Nicole was in between those two ideas, as Hogwarts had become home to her a long time ago from today. She wasn't ecstatic about having to study for certain subjects again, such as Divination. Her favourite subject had to be Defense Against the Dark Arts, a class in which she could unleash her full potential and learn of spells that could possibly save her life in the near future. Despite not having the greatest relationship with Professor Snape, without the teacher being put into consideration, D.A.D.A was the subject she excelled the most in.
Nicole stood before Platform 9¾, staring at the brick wall from behind her trolley that her luggage was hauled onto. Her grey bengal cat, Bliss, seemed unbothered and continued her rest upon the brown suitcase, and Nicole took a deep breath. Despite having gone through the platform on multiple occasions, the idea of possibly crashing into the brick wall and having her belongings, and her cat, flying all over the place did not please her. But as she gave the trolley a hard push and went warping through the brick wall, she released the breath she had been holding, the atmosphere around her completely changing within a second. Not in the sense that the aesthetics of the train platform changed, but now she recognized most of the faces surrounding her. It placed a small, satisfied smile on her face, and Bliss leaped off toward the ground as Nicole reached for her baggage, hauling it down on the concrete with a strong thud, though the loud sound was drowned out by the chatter surrounding her.

George Weasley let out a cheer of elation as he and his twin brother sprinted at full speed toward that special brick wall. Most students would run like 'normal' people through the wall, however there was no such thing as normal for the Weasley twins. While George was pushing the trolley forward, Fred was sat on top of the luggage with his legs crossed and a grin plastered onto his face. Just a few metres before reaching the wall, George launched himself up from the ground and hopped onto the suitcases right next to Fred. A tight fit, though fun. Roars of laughter escaped them as they appeared on the other side of the wall, individually getting off of their travel bags. George dusted the back of his pants off, before his brown eyes began to scan his surroundings in search of any familiar faces.
"You're both insane," he heard the very familiar voice of his younger brother, Ronald, retort as he appeared from the brick wall, seemingly having gone through it like everyone else did; by running, not jumping onto it like maniacs. He and his brother laughed simultaenously, before ignoring the comment and watching the rest of his family pour out of the wall. After an excessively long amount of time spent exchanging farewells, his parents let them be and headed off. Ronald strayed away from the twins toward Hermione and Harry, Ginny ran off somewhere, and Fred decided he wanted to catch up with his friends, one of whom had not replied back to his letters all summer. So there stood George, looking around like a lost puppy, a very tall one at that. In fear of being late, his family always made him arrive at the station earlier and therefore, not all of his friends were there. Especially the ones who tended to accidentally sleep in after their alarm, which included the majority of his snoozing friends.

Cedric walked through the train station pushing his trolley in front of him, and still double checking that he didn't forget anything. Cedric had already been packed for a few days now, but that didn't stop him from making sure he had everything he needed one last time. When he looked up from his trolley noticed that he was already at platform 9 3/4, and had nearly walked past it entirely. He looked around, making sure all the muggles were too preoccupied to notice him disappearing into the platform barrier. Feeling satisfied with his findings, he walked into the barrier, coming out at Platform 9 3/4 on the other side. He smiled upon stepping into the platform. He already saw friends that had arrived early and many other familiar faces. He was glad to be back, not that he hadn't enjoyed his summer, but it was like coming back home almost. He spent more time at the school than at home anyway.
Cedric pushed his Trolley around the platform, saying hello to friends he hadn't seen in a while, and friends he had seen just weeks prior. As he made his rounds, he noticed Nicole taking her luggage out of her trolley. "Nicole!" He exclaimed as he walked over to her, "How was your summer?" Cedric was friends with almost anyone, and after being in the same house with someone for so many years, you got close to people.

Aster-Bleu had said goodbye to her mom before she entered the station, she was 19 after all, she didn't need her mother escorting her, no matter how much she insisted she just wanted to spend a few minutes more with her before she left. At the station, Aster put her luggage in a trolley and hustled to platform 9 3/4. She was excited to get back to her friends, sure she had seen her main group during the summer holidays, but there were also many people she hadn't seen or even talked to in a few months. She didn't bother to see if anyone watched her as she entered through the platform barrier. It wasn't like anyone would believe a girl ran through the barrier anyway. Aster smiled, her hair turning a light pink, when the normal sounds of chatter and chirping owls filled the air. She had enjoyed the holidays, but she had missed Hogwarts, if only she didn't have to start school work again.
Aster pushed her trolley over to the doors of the train, so she could bring her luggage into one of the carriages. It was best to get one now, before they were all taken and she was stuck with some first years. Not that she didn't like first years, they were fun to mess with as they were terribly gullible, but she wasn't looking forward to being in confined spaces with them

Nicole looked around the platform, it was a bit too early to get onto the train since she still wanted to greet some friends that had yet to arrive, however she did not spot any of the familiar faces she had grown accustomed to. Bliss hopped onto the top of the baggage, licking her paw as Nicole inspected the train station. Most of the people were here with their families, or at least a parent, but Nicole was all on her own with her cat. She wasn't very close to her wizard father, she was a bit closer with her mother however she was a muggle and preferred not to go with Nicole in fear of getting odd looks from purebloods such as the Malfoy family. It didn't bother her too much, she liked moments of being on her own as well. Suddenly, Nicole heard an awfully familiar voice speak her name, and as she turned around to see if her guess was correct, a smile made its way onto her face. Cedric Diggory. They were in the same year and different houses, but he was in almost all of her classes. "Oh, hey Cedric!" She greeted him, relieved she found someone she knew. The two weren't close friends or anything, but they were good friends. It was a bit more difficult to be friends with people from different houses since you never got to see them in the commonrooms. "My summer was alright, I was in London the whole time." She told him, nodding her head a little.

Fred stood near the Platform entrance, occasionally turning around to take a glimpse of whoever came through next. Most of them recognized him, after all he was a Weasley, everyone in the school knew the prankster twins. A few faces he would recognize, others he had barely seen around the school, and some were first years who looked like complete strangers to him. And then someone a lot more familiar arrived; Aster. He watched her approach the train already, quite surprised she didn't want to go around and mingle with friends she hadn't seen since last school year. So, he took this opportunity to finally begin a conversation with someone he knew. "Hey, Bleu!" The tall ginger called out, waving his arm as he pulled his suitcase off the trolley and approached her. "Where are you going in such a rush?" He asked, referring to the fact that it looked like she was already planning on getting onto the train. "Sick hair," He commented with a grin, referring to the pink shade that was adorning her locks. His favourite colour on her was probably orange, not because he was a ginger himself but it just complimented her well. Though at the same time, it seemed like the smaller female could pull off almost any colour.
