The land was magnificent. Unreal. Truly a sight to behold. Wildlife was visible at every angle, deer feeding in the trees, squirrels climbing onto branches. Birds could be heard, chirping and calling to each other, and somewhere in the distance, you could hear the sounds of wings flapping, roaring, clicking, muttering. Faint footprints were found in the soil. Some broad and large-toed, some small, like they were built for agility. There were a few that were very, very large, screaming that of an enormous beast, and you knew. There are dragons that reside here.

Venturing further, you noticed tracks of humans. So.. They lived here too? Worked here? Astonishing, how two being of completely different nature got along. Well.. Maybe they didn't.. But you couldn't find any skulls or bloodied corpses anywhere. No scorch marks. This place seemed so.. Peaceful..

Out of the corner of your eye, he saw a rising hill, and eagerly turned to view what was atop it. Buildings. Buildings everywhere. Huge and small, seeming to stack on the hill so it grew larger. Behind it, a tall, amazing castle rose, wrapped and decorated with vine. It looked ancient, even from this distance you can tell this building had stood for hundreds, maybe thousands of years. There were also smaller buildings scattering the area you were currently standing. Like cabins and cottages. People, horses, and other creatures worked on farms. Children ran about, playing and speaking in loud, happy voices. You were filled with interest and awe, even as you turned your gaze to the sky and saw many creatures, both small and large, flying in the sky, going about their day. This was amazing, you thought. Truly, truly amazing.

Aaah! Hey! Hi! Welcome! This is the first community/group roleplay I've ever done, and it's really something new! I hope that, if you are joining, that you will enjoy it and maybe make some friends! I'm really wishing that a lot of people will join, 'cause, well.. Wouldn't anyone? Improve your writing skills, maybe you are even stepping out of your comfort-zone, like I am! ^o^ I'm pretty sure all I'm typing now is boring, and you have probably stopped reading this by now. Any way, love you all!! ;0;; Thanks for joining, or at least viewing this thread!

Hazel eyes popped up from behind a building in the village, glimmering with amusement as there blonde haired owner stuck her tongue out, "Give that back you brat!" she demanded well chasing the 6 year old who took her bracelet, her bow's draw string rubbing her back with every step she took. It was a beautiful day, the sky colouring itself the boldest of blue's as the sun battled the few clouds for view, "Aysha!" she squeaked before catching the younger girl, snatching her belongings and scolding the girl by sticking out her tongue.

Amori smiled afterwards, turning on her heel and walking out towards the forest, entering the world of lush green. She had already hunted that day, she was just going back to explore and please the wander lusting side of her. Her braid swished as she ran deep into the forest taking in every sight the world had to offer. After running for a good half an hour she eventually found a large tree with white bark and rich green leaves that towered above the rest. She grabbed the lowest branch with a running leap and pulled her way up.

The human girl made her way to the top and found a nice spot to cozy up in the branches for awhile and gaze upon the area. In one direction she saw a glittering lake, line by all sort of tiny rocks, utterly untouched by any human (including herself). If she craned her head the other way, she could just make out the buildings sprawling across the small hill she called home. She then smiled as her eyes wandered everything that sat in between

Through the edge of the wodded area walked a deep blue haired, fair skinned, purple eyed man. He wasnt up to anything just enjoying a nice quiet walk to clear his mind of any distractions. Hands in pocket as he skip over roots and picked up a herbs here and there.

Wasnt long before he had discovered a beautiful lake that glittered like no other. Seizing the moment he had decided this is where he would stop for a while and perhaps see what the fish were like in this mass of water. He builds a small fire not too far away from the lake then begins to take off all of his clothes so they would stay dry for when he was done swimming around.

Amori whittled on the tree she sat in, making all sorts of random squiggles as she chewed on her lip. The warm breeze tickled her back as she looked over to her village, she was about to start whittling it's hill into the trees but noticed a flicker of light in the corner of her eye and her attention shifted over to the now steady flames.

Her eyes skidded over to the male starting it, her eyes dwindling on the vibrant shade of blue his hair sat as. The man then stood and promptly grabbed the waistband of his pants and pulled them down. Amori's hands were immediately over her eyes. Skinny dipping, Really? she thought with minor exasperation. After a second of thinking her leg slipped and she fell backwards, barely managing to hook her leg on the branch sitting immediately under the one she sat on just moments ago.

She quickly pulled herself up, blushing to herself over the awkward squeak she made when falling backwards.

In a moment of random confidence that came about five minutes afterwards ended with her yelling, "Get some pants on!" in the lakes general direction, before pressing herself against the tree, and ducking so she wouldn't be seen.

Magnus had woken up that morning and had a desire that he had not had in a while. He wanted to soar among the clouds and feel the freedom that he once only cared about. If not for his desire to protect the humans of the village he lived in he would of left a hundred year ago. But he had so many thing he had to do today to make sure the defense of the village was going well.

Clad in his armor he went about the village checking that everything was in perfect order. After 300 years of living he had a strict code to how he handled this. But he had still wanted to go for a fly and it had been so long since he had gone on one for fun. The urge was so great that he rushed though what he had been doing. The first time he had ran home so to put his sword and shield away and almost stripped off his armor. But he remembered that it would not be necessary to do that.

He went to the edge of the village and transformed from this human clad in heavy armor to a large fire breathing dragon covered in red and gold scales. He took no time to leap into the air and soar high above. He looked down remembering what it feels like to look down upon the world below him. Yes he was no longer Magnus Cain but Quinlan dragon of the flames. He flew for awhile breathing in the fresh air and thought he thought best to find somewhere to land.

That's when he heard someone yell below close to a lake near the village. Curious to this he landed in the middle of the trees and changed to his human form to look around. He looked out from the trees and could see a man about to take a dip in the lake naked. But after so many years this didn't seem strange so he thought there might be someone else around. In fact he could smell that someone else was by the lake.

Anndra stretches tall and pops a couple bones to limber up before hopping in. The temperature was just right and his fire was going strong. He grabs a small stone and tries to test the depth of the water but it didn't workout quite how he wanted so he decided to just go for it.

Right as he was getting in he heard a high pitched squeak in the treeline followed by a couple shaking branches. He didn't see anyone so he thought nothing of it. Right before he was about to jump in once again be heard a voice, a female voice yell at him to get some pants on.

He decided to throw his pants back on and head towards the voice.

"Someone there?" He utters in his soft Scottish accent.

"Not right to spy on someone ya know?" He asks trying to provoke whomever it was to show herself

A single eyebrow lifted in response, "It's not spying if your blocking my view." She awkwardly called back, mentally barrating her idiocity. Then quietly popped her head out to look, then pulled back behind the tree, drew a bow and nocked an arrow. You never knew the temperament of people in this area.

Her eyes drifted forward and she noticed another person, "For pete's sake..." she muttered, climbing lower into the tree for more cover, noting that the sun was creeping closer and closer to the mountains, threatening to set early. Amori scowled and hopped to the ground wondering if she screamed when a wolf ate her if any of her friends would come.

Out of the only two girls she knew she came to the conclusion that neither would care and starting walking in the opposite direction of the lake.

Anndras plan had worked. He drew the woman out from hiding, though he hadn't expected her to be as cute as she was. He could sense that she obviously felt threatened with some random guy walking up on her. Then he had caught the scent of another walking there direction but dismisses it once she starts to leave.

"'Scuse me lass, but why ya leaving in such a hurry? We only just made eye contact." Anndra began "look if its about the comment i made a minute ago i didnt mean nothin by it. I was only trying to find out who it was near me" he sounded reassuring but at the same time he didnt exactly expect her to turn around and assumed that she wouldnt either way

Magnus tried to stay at a good distance as to not be treated as a threat. From what he could tell the man he saw at first must be a dragon from the scent coming from him. But the girl who he smelled earlier was definitely human based on her scent. He wasn't sure who the dragon was but he was curtain that the girl must of lived in the village. There didn't seem to be much a threat at the moment so he didn't see the harm at least at getting some water after all the flying he had done earlier.

Amori kept walking, having had bad experiences with strangers before she deemed that as an appropriate response. The loose nock she had on her bow tightened slightly and her braid bounced on her back with every step, "Sorry I don't talk to random skinny dippers and I didn't make eye contact with you." she stated flatly, turning into a thicker area then looping around the trees before hastily climbing up one and perching in a low branch, pointing it at the ground in case the male saw her.

She quieted her breath and balanced herself, holding the bow drawn so it wouldn't creek. Most people just walked by oblivious to her presence when she did this.

Dhrak

The early morning sun beamed down on the glistening black scales of the large dragon, the heat of the suns rays being devoured by the dark abyss of the scales that seemed to dance slightly against the sun, they were similar to tar to the naked eye of a human. Tapping his tail against the ground, Dhrak opened both beaming yellow eyes and groaned lightly, he never was a fan of the sun. Heaving in a heavy breath, the large brute pulled himself onto all fours. Once standing was when he really began to appreciate the view he had.

Dhrak had owned the mountain caves for as long as he could remember, he knew all the ways in and out. The clouds were lingering just below the mouth of the cave and Dhrak perched himself on the edge, both front claws dug into the hard rock of the mountain. Stretching his wings he then stretched out his back and lifted his head into the air, releasing a breath of vibrant blue flames.

Glaring down at the landscape below he was able to see the lake through a break in the clouds, surging off his powerful back legs he took a leap into the air, his wings tucked close to his sides as he shot towards the earth, the green then began to grow closer and he extended his wings fully, snapping him back into a graceful looking flight. Circling the lake once he then found a clearing on the far side of the lake, fluttering his wings slowly he then landed with a light thud into the tall grass, releasing a small growl in warning to anyone who was near to back off. Moving to the waters edge he lowered himself into a crouch, looking similar to that of a big cat as he lowered his jaws to the calm water, a pair of long fangs pertruding from his upper lip to hang over his bottom one.

((sorry Im late :P ))

She stood on the ledge of the balcony, and took a deep breath. The sun shone down from the heavens, coating the world in a golden hue. As far as the eye could see, there were only green forests and lush mountains and sparkling streams and waterfalls. She had specifically chosen a room in at the back of the castle for this reason: to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Without flinching, she jumped.

The cool air blew into her face, the wind snipped at her ears and the ground came closer faster and faster. And only when she was a few centimeters away from the forest floor did she outstretch her wings and shoot upwards towards the sky. Up and up she went, past the looming towers of her home, the castle. She was a white blur against the stone walls, she knew. Faster and faster she went, and then swerved sideways. Faster than any chariot, she made her way to the lake, to the clearing where she'd spent many a summer day. As she neared, she noticed another standing where she'd so often stood. Strange. Claws outstretched, she raced to the ground and landed gracefully. Retracting her wings, the scaly dragon skin slowly fading away to reveal her supple human one, she turned back into a girl, and approached the large, black dragon. "Who are you?" she called to him.

Anndras wasnt sure what to expect but he didnt really care she walked away. He didnt understand what she meant by skinny dipping and that comment confused him. He was a loner most of his life so he didnt really care she walked away. He also had almost no contact with humans so to him swimming nude was completely normal if you didnt want your clothes to get wet.

Anndras eventually shrugged it of and headed back over to his fire and relaxed a bit. Though he hadn't forgotten about the other dragon he caught scent of while he was over there so he kept his guard up for the time being.

Dhrak

The water slid down his throat like melted butter, its ice cool temperature slightly stung against the back of his throat. The sun danced along the ripples as he then pulled himself up from the water, only to find a woman not to far from him. The trees and the grass swayed slightly as a light breeze swept over them.

Flicking his large tail, the widened end slapped against the ground with a thud as he turned to face her, his beaming yellow eyes seemed to shimmer against the darkness of his scales, in a deep and husky like tone he replied, however it dragged slightly in his dragon form, much like the voice a snake would have if they could talk, the letter "s" being dragged on "Whats it to you?.. However I am Dhrak"

*I'll invite a change of scenery for whenever you guys want to exit the lake area*

Art saw two dragons fly over to that glistening lake again, and wondered what was so special about it. There are a dozen other lakes in the same area. Art finishes her drink and sighed. It's still early in the morning and she's already had four idiots needing medical attention in her little log house: One fell off a roof; One stayed out all night at that same fucking lake and became ill; And two others got into a pointless bar fight. There was really no end to it. She decided to call it a day and to head out to find a few more herbs. She needed some Black Henbane, Wormroot, Burdock, and whatever else she could find.

She grabbed her sack and headed out into the forest. At least the dragons were useful at keeping the other beasts away. She chuckled to herself-Beasts drive other beasts.

Ayrwode trekked through the forest, crunching plants and small branches under his feet as he did so. Though, he didn't mind. The dragon's tail swayed from side to side, and his wings stretched out wide. It was a lovely day, today, Ayr thought, as he finally came to a tree and decided to rest near it, to watch the wildlife. He rested his head down on the ground and released a long, heavy sigh. I.. Could go find someone to talk to. But that seemed very uninteresting. Plus, he wasn't the most joyful being to speak to. He watched as a deer grazed nearby, but fled as soon as it heard him. Or maybe footsteps. He definitely heard footsteps.

Standing up once more, a small growl rose in his throat. It could be anything- Another dragon, perhaps dangerous. A bear, though they didn't pose much of a threat, really. Maybe a human. A hunter. Either way, he absolutely did not want to socialize today! And he was a bit to lazy to leave the area.. Or fight.. So what was he doing, really? Ayrwode had no idea.

@Vlass dO YOU WANT IMMEDIATE INTERACTION bEcause Ayr is lazing about in the forest.

Halfway through Art's adventure she finds Wormroot, Burdock, but not Bundane. Then, in the distance- she found an.. odd lump of them growing on a hill..? If it could be described as a hill. She heads toward it, adamant on heading home as soon as she gets what she needs. Then she hears a growl, yet she couldn't pinpoint it's exact location.

She nearly stumbled over the dragon that had almost the exact appearance of a tree.

"What the-"

She disgracefully falls over his.. tail? Was that a tail. She couldn't tell. For a moment she sensed danger but the dragon seemed to droop, as if it wasn't willing to fight. Then for a second she caught sight of it's full figure and she briefly wondered..

"Are those... do you have fucking PLANTS growing on your back? Jesus.."

(@Yewitz so I don't want to do anything without letting you react first so uhh- here you go~)

Magnus had only been taking in the scenery and enjoying the waters of the lake. He did not worry that the girl would be in danger as she headed back towards the village. Nor the lone dragon who seem more happy with being left alone. All seemed well to him, except then the scent of a new dragon, his appearance, and his roar made him put his defenses on high alert. Nothing about him seemed intimately dangerous as he drank from the lake. An from out of the sky another dragon came down and transformed into a beautiful girl. In fact she looked familiar to him, maybe from the city. Quite possible, truth be told he was so busy keeping tje village safe he didn't have to much interaction with other dragons in a while. Magnus tried to reach for his shield for just in case but remembered he left that at home. He kept his open and focused on the two just in case anything happens to put someone in danger.

@Needle @Boondox

What Ayrwode was hoping to happen, was for the woman that had nearly tripped over his tail to leave. What he hadn't expected was for her to stare at him thoughtfully, before asking, very clearly, if he had plants growing on his back. Staring down at her, he didn't respond for a good minute, before finally sinking back down onto the ground and huffing. "Mostly moss."

That was all he responded with, already seeming uninterested with whoever this was. Tail thumping against the ground, he turned, and faced the opposite direction, supposing she'd grow bored as well and just scurry off to do whatever humans did.

Vahca Friddja

Still not sure whether the south was nearly as amazing as he had imagined. In the begining it had been new and exciting. He had never been further away from his hut than the great frozen lake. A smaller mountain had started after that and when he reached the top, he could finally see the world that wasn’t covered in snow and ice.

On the other side of the mountains was where the trees had started. In the start they were barely the size of bushes. But after an endless amount of walking, he saw the first big ones. Then it was just trees and trees and trees and Vahca was so insanly sick of trees, he wanted to put it all on fire. The he started getting homesick.

That had been 8 days ago. He had eventually gotten used to the trees. He and Násti had even tried climbing them. It had definitly been easier than climbing mountains or glaciers. Vahca’s traps had also seemed to have been worth it and he could always feed himself. However, he noticed when they were in dragon territory: Násti had problems finding food. And the stubborn little child refused to take the meat he had hunted. But at least the dragons in those areas left them alone, which was a pleasant surprise for them both.

He understood that they were in a bigger dragon territory now, as Násti didn’t even bother trying to hunt. Instead, she just hang over his back, digging her ice old claws into his shoulders and nudged her head against his neck, sending a chill down his spine. Though she kept him cool from the sunny heat of the south, so he didn’t mind.

Cecilia cocked her head to the side, unsure of what to do. She'd never been spoken to in this manner before. It had always been m'lady or ma'am. The honorifics were vital. This stranger, speaking to her in such a manner...she almost found it amusing. She decided not to reveal her identity, to keep things interesting. "Well, I've never seen anybody on this part of the forest before. I come here quite often, and company is not familiar." She was intrigued by the mysterious dragon, although it almost felt like she was talking to a snake. "Can you turn to human, Dhrak? Or..."

Art couldn't help but laugh at the dragon's response. She's heard stories of how dragons were proud and almost cat-like, however she never assumed they were true.

"Ahahaha," She holds her stomach a bit. "Well, uhm, sorry to intrude..."

She makes herself presentable again, "But you're lying on a pile of Bundane Leaves... Think you can roll over so I can get them?" She says somewhat cautiously. She wasn't ready to let her guard down just yet, but this creature seemed pretty... domestic. If you can call a dragon domestic that is.

She also found herself staring at his limbs. How did it.. work? Was it tree on the inside too? Or was that just tough skin? Before thinking it through she strolls right up to the dragon and pats his odd tree neck. Weird.

Násti Friddja

Her body was the size of a young lynx. Her scales were cold and the fur on her spine, wings and tail helped her keep the heat out. Her color was something between white and very light blue. Under direct sunlight, it would seem like her scales had sparkles in them. It was the perfect camouflage for hiding in the snow. Here it just made her stand more out and feel more odd and uncomfortable.

She understood why he wanted to leave. But she didn’t understand why she had to come along. His family had taken her in, fed her, raised her equally among their children. Vahca was her brother. But she disliked this place. Even if there was endless food and dragons who didn’t want to murder her on sight.

Násti made quiet growling sounds and started biting on her brother’s ear and hair. “Biebmu,” she complained in her childish, low voice. He finally turned his head and looked up at her, hangining over his shoulder.

“If you’re so hungry, fly up and see if you can find a source of water?” He said. Násti closed her eyes and let out a long sigh. Ever since they had pasted the mountain beyond the great frozen lake, he had stopped talking their native language and switched to the common tongue of the south. She understood it just fine, they had learned it together with him by a northling merchant. He had said that since Vahca was so bad at hunting, he might as well learn other usefull things.

Still, she opened her wings and took off into the air. After a few flaps with her wings, the little dragon reached the top of the trees and flat out her wings, soaring while looking around. She suddenly noticed what seemed to be buildings in the distant. “Visti,” she reported back to Vahca. He looked up at her, he seemed surprised.

“It is far away?”

Ii,” she flew back down to him and landed on his back and looked at him from the side. He seemed weirdly excited about a bunch of gigant rock huts. She remembered that he had describes them for her and said that he’d always wanted to see one. The pile of rock hadn’t seemed that interesting to the young dragon.

Dhrak

The large brute listened to her an let his vibrant yellow eyes scan her over. Why had she asked such a simple question? Most dragons could change forms .. they used it as a method of disguise, however he was able to blend with the shadows so he avoided switching to his human form as much as he possibly could. As she stated company was little here he smirked an let his mouth creep open slightly as he grinned at her, his sharp teeth just barely visible between both darkened upper an lower lips "I am from the mountains.. I come here to drink then head on my way, I do not stay long" With that he stepped closer to her, lowering his head to her level as he paused for a moment "Of course I can turn to human.. however I avoid doing so as I prefer my true form over hiding behind the human face" With that he lifted his head, raising both of his wings to stretch. In his human form he had abit of an accent, much similar to that of a "british" accent. That was why his voice in dragon form was so different.
