In Depth

History: As a child of divorce, growing up between two households was hard. Grayson's Mom and Dad split up when he was ten due to his Mother's constant drug abuse. His Father didn't want him around that. One day he came back to his Dads from his Mom house high on Valium that his mother had given him in his food. His Dad fought to get sole custody of Grayson and eventually won.


From when he was fifteen and older Grayson lived with his Dad and only visited his Mom on some holidays if his Dad was there with him. His Mom still abused drugs. Grayson promised himself he wouldn't do any drugs except smoke weed...but then High School came around and he started experimenting with different drugs. All his close friends were so he figured he would.


Eventually he got into dealing drugs himself including cocaine, weed and heroin. One day he decided to try heroin and his life when down from there. Only (Enter gf name here) knew about his heroin use. He knew she knew but she never said anything.

  Emily is a sweet and caring girl who hates to see anyone upset or in pain, she goes out of her way to help others and makes an effort to talk to anyone she see's on their own. She is a good natured soul who is very protective of her friends and family. She is extremely loyal to those she cares about, however she can also be a little too trusting with people and prefers to see the good in everyone rather than the bad, which tends to inevitably lead to her getting hurt. Trust and Loyalty is important to Emily, if you break her trust then it is nearly impossible to get it back. Emily is very stubborn, sarcastic and spontaneous once she gets an idea into her head it is nearly impossible to talk her out of it, for this reason Emily could be seen as reckless, she dives head first into situations and tends to leave the consequences to worry about when they come. Emily is always up for a good adventure or a night out, she is the type of girl that you can call at the last minute and know that she will be up for it, she lives for parties and having fun. She can't sit still for very long and needs to being doing something rather than staring at her wall. Emily is also very honest and will say things how it is, she usually doesn't think before she speaks and can sometimes just blurt out what she's thinking, however she doesn't really care what people think of her.
  
  Bio
  Emily had a pretty average childhood, nothing pretty spectacular happened until she developed Depression at 14. Emily went through hell for a year as she tried to gain control over her depression which was spiraling downwards and into darkness, she didn't understand what was happening to her, why she was so sad all the time, why everything was hopeless and in result she began lashing out at her family and everyone around her, the sweet girl which everyone knew had vanished and instead was replaced with a cold and miserable stranger. Emily was diagnosed at 15 and put on medication which brought her back to normal and she stayed on these anti-depressants for a year and a half until she replaced her meds with weed. Emily started smoking weed every so often to take the edge of when she was upset and this eventually turned into smoking everyday as she stopped taking her anti-depressants and instead relied on weed to keep her relatively normal. While she enjoyed alcohol and weed, Emily never planned to try anything else but as her friends began to experiment in drugs, Emily decided to join in as she didn't see the harm in it. Emily's drug of choice was MDMA however she wouldn't say no to some cocaine or psychedelics, she with ecstasy she enjoyed the lift in serotonin and loved the carefree and happy feeling which it entailed, seeing the world in a new light even if it was for only a few hours. However 'suicide tuesday' was tough on her and she eventually figured out a system, MDMA on nights out or parties and two days later she would take Ketamine which dulled the down feelings of the skag which popped up two days after the heavy drug use. While Emily would never admit it, it was a bit obvious that Emily had formed an addiction to the two drugs, relying on them for parties and dealing with the aftermath. This and her constant weed smoking mixed with her depression is a problem waiting to happen.

  -Emily was Grayson's girlfriend, she knew that he took heroin however in nativity and in denial with her own addiction to drugs, she didn't believe that he was addicted and so she never said anything to him about it. While she was worried about him, she was too afraid to talk to him about it as she believed that if she didn't mention it then it wasn't a problem and it wasn't real. Emily regrets never speaking up about this use she blames herself for his death as she knew but never said anything.

HISTORY

Ji-Hun's parents moved from South Korea when he was 7 years old because his father had managed to receive and accept a business offer in the U.S. For his parents, the adjustment to life was difficult, however, Ji learned the culture and language faster as he was younger. For many reasons Ji was happy with moving away, the main one being that his only friend at school had betrayed him and spread around his secrets before he left. They were only 7 years old, the secrets meant nothing, but to the kids, they meant everything. In his last few days, life at school was hell and that feeling of hopelessness and disgust being directed at you by your classmates, people who you had formerly got along with, stayed imprinted in his mind. When he moved, he re-invented himself and that allowed him to fit in better with the other kids at school, instead of having one good friend, he was friends with everyone in the class, but at the same time, he never truly opened up to anyone.
Family life was rigid and strict, following the traditions and culture of Korea in an american house. Ji was brought up a Catholic Christian and regularly went to church with his parents and other followers of their faith. It wasn't until he was in elementary school he started to realise there was more than just one view and he started to open up his mind. He met Grayson and his friends, they allowed him to see past the traditions and views of a country he didn't live in anymore and the Christian beliefs that had been imposed on him. It was through them that he started to discover himself.
During high school Ji realised he was pan and started to act on it, sleeping around with anyone who would give him a chance, giving him a reputation around the school as a sort of playboy. He asserted himself as one of the popular kids, distancing himself from his parents to go to parties and clubs, developing an addiction to alcohol and drugs (mainly marijuana and amphetamine), often stealing money from his parents to pay for them.
One night he went home, drunk and stoned, however, his parents were waiting for him. Someone had tipped them off about his lies and what he'd really been doing. In his state, Ji told them everything and they were appalled. He was kicked out. Ji went to live with one of his many partners and for the rest of highschool, moved from house to house. Rumours circulated around, but he was well-liked enough that no-one gave him shit about it.
Moving into college was difficult because the moving around and stress of keeping his addiction in check and school had took its toll on his grades. Luckily, he was physically gifted and the college had vocational courses, allowing Ji to opt for an Auto Repair course where he would learn how to fix up cars. However, his parents were no longer funding him, so he had to rely on two summer jobs, his friends, selling his old school equipment and drugs to afford to pay his tuition fee, which he barely made. However, the course allows him 2 days off every week, allowing him to keep his two part-time jobs so he can pay for the rent on his new apartment, a small, run-down collection of two rooms where he lives. He really only needed one job, but he kept them both so he was able to pay for his addictions and still deals in drugs. Ridiculously, he still finds time to go to parties and get laid.
Ji was at the party when Grayson overdosed, but he was drunk and too busy with a girl and getting stoned to notice until the ambulance came, even then, he only found out it was Grayson while he wobbling through his classes at school. At first, it didn't do much, he was too hungover for it to really sink in and although Grayson had been his friend, they were never that close, as was the case for many of his friends, but when he was working in the convenience store later that evening, the reality shocked his nerves into action. Leading him to really put his life and the lives of his friends into perspective...

PERSONALITY

Ji-Hun is a typical playboy, nice, sweet, charming even, but he can only woo someone for one or two nights before moving off again, never settling in a concrete relationship. He has a friendly attitude and a pleasant aura around him, allowing him to befriend people quite easily, but never really get close to them. Ji works hard to make himself his idea of perfection and achieve his version of happiness, he knows the danger of drugs, it had been lectured to him enough times in high school, but for the feeling, the rush, he couldn't leave it. Ji doesn't care that much about his grades, opting to spend his time at parties drowning out his worries on the highs of the bass and chemicals rushing through his body. Ji has no shame, often doing stupid and ridiculous things, some of them can put him in jail if he's caught, some of them can kill him. He's burning out his body and in his mind he can't stop it.
In his subconscious he still carries the values he parents taught him and when the drugs and alcohol wear off, he gets caught up in the emotion of being kicked out by his parents, being rejected by his parents. He likes things to be clean, and even though his apartment is a dump, the traditions brought from his home country still remain in his system, although he doesn't act on most of them. Opting to drown out his feelings and problems in the lights of a party and drug induced trance, his feelings are often left to manifest and something will tip him over the edge, maybe the death of one of his closer friends will do just that...

APPEARANCE

Ji is very tall at 6'1" (186cm) and has a strong, lithe build due to him working out regularly. He has light hazel eyes with green and blue flecks in them, however, they are very faint and hard to spot. His hair is cut short and a deep black colour, although he would like to dye it at some point. For now his skin is clear and pale, he takes good care of it as he takes looking his best very seriously, when he's older he hopes to get some tattoos.
At college he usually wears a black T-shirt and dark jeans underneath his dark green overalls, with the upper part generally tied around his waist when he's not doing practical work. He also wears a pair of protective goggles around his neck with his hair usually ruffled into waves. Ji also wears hard and sturdy black boots to help with practicals.
When at work, he wears either his store uniform, a salmon shirt with his jeans, accompanied by a name badge or his waiter uniform, a dark shirt and dress trousers with black leather dress shoes, a white apron tied at his waist. His shirt has a breast pocket where he keeps his notepad and pen.
Ji's casual wear is made up by an array of plaid shirts, plain T-shirts, zippered and pullover hoodies, sports trainers, dark blue jeans and gray and black jogging pants with the occasional snapback and sunglasses.

OTHER

Ji is trilingual, he can speak Korean, American English and Latin American Spanish.
He owns a nokia flip phone because it's durable, he hates iPhones.
His favourite music consists of dance tracks and remixes.
