High Concept: A trainer traveling to spread his political influence and take his message to the people.
Personality: A creature of logic through and through, some one who spends his every waking moment only thinking; still, he makes it a point to not let his analytical nature get in the way of his ability to pick up on emotional and social cues.
History: Hailing from the Ferrum Region, Leonardo Lane was a little late to the Pokémon party. He didn't get his first Pokémon until just before his eighteenth birthday, as he was just that impressively intent on procrastinating. His best friend Amber though, left early at thirteen and swiftly became the Grand Master of the Ferrum region and used this new found political power to inform the people of the region of the poor development of its infrastructure; fighting for equal convenience of all trainers whether they use pokéballs or not. Having conquered the Ferrum region, she planned to travel the whole world in an effort to spread this message internationally. Of course, not without doing Leonardo the favour of escorting him to the professor's lab where he could get his first Pokémon and finally get out into the world like he should've done five years prior. Of course, nothing ever does go to plan.
Leo almost lost his life that day, and why he didn't? He couldn't tell you, all he remembers is a pair of beading orange eyes staring into his soul. His new life was a gift, and that wasn't the only gift he received. Now, Pokémon don't just drop their eggs into just any trainer's lap, but maybe there was something this particular Pokémon needed out of Leo; he found and egg in his possession now.
Leonardo was now ready for his Pokémon adventure, and what better way to do that than to join Professor Nia Eucalyptus in her study of Gaia Energy and how it could be used to strengthen the bond between trainer and Pokémon. Of course, this wasn't without a lot of traveling.

Equipment: AR gear, NetDex, 10x pokéballs, 5x super potions, sling satchel.
Personal Items: Laptop linked to NetDex for research.
Skills: The Ferrum region has some unorthodox teachings about Pokémon battles; Leo is a very skilled fighter of his own.
Powers:
-Touch of Death: Leo should be dead, but he isn't. Rather, maybe he is? He can't tell anymore; for the longest time after that his body felt foreign, and he started to notice weird symptoms of... something.
--Dark Vision: Leo has never been lost in the dark at night, chalk it up to the Chandelure lighting the way. Still, people who walk with him don't seem to see as far as he does even then.
--Permeation: Leo always has a hard time using his hands now, the feeling in his fingers having been numbed. Sometimes he feels like if he loses focus for even a second, whatever he's holding would slip through his hands entirely.
-AR Gear: A staple of the Ferrum Region, AR Gear is a cutting edge technological advancement that allows for telepathic communication between trainer and Pokémon. Unfortunately, it is extremely experimental and requires gears for the Pokémon in question. There are only 18 models currently being mass produced.
--Synergy: The AR gear allows Leo and Ember to harness Gaia energy to speak to each other mentally (albeit through raw emotions; the language barrier still exists). This can also give Ember the ability to burst with much higher energy output than your standard Chandelure; unfortunately as Kanto is not as rich in Gaia as Ferrum, this is difficult to build up to and maintain.
Appearance: Leo isn't very hard to distinguish from a crowd: it might be the gray racing stripe in his brown coiff; funny enough it used to be copper. A lot of his comparatively serious demeanor is communicated though his hooded eyes, as unfortunate as it is he very often has to make conscious efforts to seem less intimidating.

Personality: Jay is a laid back guy who typically spends his time with his Pokémon rather than others. He isn't anti-social by any means. He'd talk your ear off about his research all day if you let him.
History: Jay's history is rather bland. Raised by his uncle in snowpoint city, who was a researcher for the snowpoint ruins. Jay found his love for learning young by asking his uncle questions about all the things found there. Of course the looming statue of a Pokémon ever present loomed over them. Regigigas, the Golem Pokémon who was said to have created the very region they stood on statue. Researching this with his uncle he though maybe somewhere out in the world he would find the answers to the riddle of snowpoint temple. A body of rock, A body of Steel, and a body of Ice. When all three are gathered the king shall appear.
His meeting with Slushy, was a dangerous encounter but not with the Pokémon itself. It was the weather conditions that caused the danger. Jay in his vast intellect of an eleven year old made the brilliant decision to chase after a hardly visible eevee in a white-out Blizzard. Said brilliant action resulted in him nearly freezing to death in a cave with said eevee. When the blizzard was over he attempted to go back home with the Eevee but promptly passed out have way there. When Jay came to, he was in the hospital with a Glaceon laying on one chair and his uncle sitting in another. He was so grounded, but he got a life long friend and a little more than just a resistance to the cold.

Many of Finn's previous colleagues in Sinnoh would describe him as a headstrong young man. He can be a bit of a brick wall when it comes to doing things, especially when it comes to doing something a certain way. Normally he'll be pretty chill about it as long as there's some solid logic towards it. Finn can also be blunt at times, speaking the truth even if it could come off as rude. Now Finn doesn't mean to be rude with these comments, he's not the kind of guy who likes to beat around the bush.
Despite his brashness, Finn is kind and compassionate in his own little way. Sure he'd be the first person to scold and tell someone how stupid they are for doing something dangerous, but he is the first person to jump in and rescue or save someone, person, and Pokemon. And, at times Finn can take his job seriously, preferring not to involve non-rangers in his business. Though he tends to overwork himself so their help would be appreciated.
History:
Finn was born in the small, but humble town hidden away in the middle of Sinnoh. Celestic Town was a quiet place, it seemed as time never passed there except for the changing of the seasons the small little town clung to their ancient ways, honoring the myths and legends of Sinnoh. This was the environment that Finn grew up in, spending his younger years exploring ancient ruins and the surrounding mountain terrain. It was here where he discovered his love for both nature and culture, from the wild pokemon that scuttled around on the outskirts of town to the legends and stories the elders told him. As he grew older it was clear that Finn was destined to become a Ranger, a protector of Pokemon, Nature, and People. As soon as he was old enough Finn was enrolled at a Ranger academy, throughout his short years there and the grueling training consisting of surviving in the snowy hellscape of route 217, navigating the jagged peaks of Mt. Cornet, and trudging through the murky swamps of Route 212. Come graduation Finn was valedictorian of his class, excelling in almost all aspects of the program. Now a fully-fledged Ranger and eager to work his dream job the higher-ups decided to transfer Finn to Hoenn where there was a shortage of Rangers. Disgruntled but still eager Finn made his way to the tropical region.
