I'll admit, I'm not incredibly strict upon what format you use to make your characters.
Something simply as~
Name:
Appearance:
Occupation/History/Backstory/Personality/etc.:
Crimson Ticket: (How your Character received the Crimson ticket)

Personally, I'm going to describe out several of the NPCs you'll have in your party.

Jay "None-of-Your-Dam-Business" Drestor
A strapping, hot-headed blond man just approaching his twenties if that. Currently working his way up at one of the most prominent newspaper outlets in all of Nivanna. With his eyes set on being one of the most renowned reporters of his time, Jay is always out to get his story no matter the cost. His trusted high-end camera accompanies him at all times ready at any moment to get the scoop. Jay was actually in his newspaper's outdated dark room toying around with developing some images when he could of sworn a crimson red smudge appeared on one of the pictures. When he went to try and wipe it off, it cut his finger and blood fell onto the photograph. The next thing he knew, as if it had dropped out of the photograph itself, there was a ticket to the famed Velenrose Estate atop the photo. Baffled, Jay refused to question the nature of how he got the ticket and instead prepared to have the story of his life: an insider's look inside the exclusive Velenrose Parties.

Peter Akimoto
A fourteen year old teenager of distinctly Asian decent. His parents had actually brought him on vacation to one of the most critically acclaimed tourist destinations in the world. Shy, mostly silent, and untrusting of strangers the boy is unlikely to work cooperatively. Peter was actually playing in one of the many city parks, swinging happily upon a playground swing, when he unwrapped a chocolate bar in golden tinted foil. Only a few seconds later after biting into the candy, Peter winced in terrible pain from spitting out a crimson ticket that had cut the insides of his mouth. While the boy had no exact clue what the Veleren Estate was, he couldn't help but feel compelled to be there for the party after reaching down to pick up and examine the ticket.

Diana "Velenrose"
A liar, deceiver, and a fraud; Diana is a just slightly under-middle age woman that has focused her entire life around the deceit that she is actually a distant relative of the infamous Velenrose family. After countless book deals, staring-roles, and shady dealings this woman has made a fortune in the city of Nivanna. Diana was actually enjoying a cup of wine at a formal party when she excused herself to take a dip in the endless waterfall pool of a penthouse apartment. As soon as she was alone and swimming however, all at once the water turned crimson red as countless tickets seemed to fall from the sky and flood the pool, cutting her as she fled back to the ladder out. Freaked out and worried, when she did finally get out she looked back over at the pool just to see clear, blue water. That and, without realizing it, she was holding a single crimson ticket in her hand. Terrified to go and have her secret revealed, Diana still could not help feeling compelled to go.

Name: Jonathan Dunn
Appearance:

Occupation: Capitalist. Heir.
Backstory: As the only child of his parents, Jonathan stands to inherit ownership of the corporate conglomerate they themselves inherited. He's already gone quite far at the company at 25 even with the added benefits of neopotism. Mainly because the trick in business is more about looking good and being lucky than actual hard work. Gladhanding, backroom deals, and ensuring that the status quo is maintained or any change is co-opted is how you succeed.
Personality: Jonathan knows exactly how lucky he is to have been born into where he is and works to move up even further than that. He treats others well because it costs him nothing while gaining positive relations, avoids most vices (other than a weakness for junk food), and generally does as much work as he can to ensure that he continue his comfortable lifestyle. Jonathan's main issue is his lack of friends, since his wealth and status tend to alienate people he'd actually connect with while attracting gold-diggers. He also dislikes having to rely too much on others, preferring to do things himself even if it would seem to be below what someone of his 'status' would be doing.
Crimson Ticket: Jonathan received his Crimson Ticket with his mail when his assistant brought him his morning hot chocolate (Jonathan isn't a coffee drinker). He was extremely irritated at getting cut, but managed to avoid passing on his negative mood.

Welcome aboard! I'll admit, the story of getting the invitation is meant to have a strange or mystical aspect to it (as evidenced by Jay's, Peter's, and Diana's stories) but I'll admit that the sheer mundane factor of it also made me chuckle a bit.
