Fantasy The Twelve Vessels

Comix

Chaos Queen
The Twelve shall rise through blood and gem,

Just as the world begins to dim,

No being safe from the brightest stone,

From sins mortals must atone,

A light to pierce the lasting night,

A sacrifice to make things right.

Long ago, there existed a Being of terrifying might, a god among the mortals. A humanoid being composed of gemstones in a world where none existed. This Being ruled over the humans and the barbaric mortals knew peace and prosperity. But the humans, being as humans are, became restless. A rumor began to spread that possessing a piece of the Being’s crystal flesh gave humans abilities far beyond their wildest dreams. However, the Being loved the humans and tried too late to stop the revolt. Its body was torn to pieces and scattered across the world, still somehow alive yet unable to do anything but watch as the humans fought each other for pieces of its flesh. Hundreds of years passed and the Being began to turn to hate the humans for what they did to it, save for a few pieces that still remembered its love for the mortals. While the being as a whole plotted the humans’ demise, the few loving remnants found Vessels who they could grant their abilities and memories to. These Vessels must work together to save the world from the crystal Being before it completely reforms and regains its vast powers. Unfortunately, the most prominent remaining memory of the Being is a prophecy passed down as a child’s nursery rhyme, no one ever suspecting it held darker intentions. As the Twelve Vessels reveal themselves and their great abilities, humans begin to panic and fear that the prophecy is about the dangers of these Vessels. A group called the Miners form to track down the Twelve Vessels and kill them before they can destroy the world. On the Vessels’ side is another group called the Jewels, who had ancestors that worked closely with the Being and remember its benevolence. As the Miners track the Vessels, the Jewels seek to gather them together to find the Being and stop it from becoming fully corrupt.

The chapel of the Jeweled Temple was cavernous, carved from a snowy Phailin mountain. The only window to the outside was a multi-colored depiction of the celestial Being that refracted light against the opposite wall, bathing the room in a rainbow glow. Four rows of stone benches faced the stained glass window and the altar that the portly man stood in front of. This ordinary man took away from the awe of the room, standing in front of this gathering like he was standing in front of a lecture. His hands were behind his back, his round frame preventing him from holding them. He stood still, his steely gaze on the twelve young adults sitting in front of him. For a moment, he felt a tug of sadness deep in his stomach. These were children. They were much too young for the destiny ahead of them.

Shaking the thought from his head, he cleared his throat to garner the twelve’s attention.

“A great tragedy has fallen upon you all, and I am afraid to say it will not be remedied soon,” The man said, leaning against the altar as though it were a podium and those in front of him were no more than students. How he wished that were true.

“These stones that you have found, or, well, that have found you, they are called gemstones. Each possess its own unique name and quality. Each is a piece of the almighty Being,” He paused, hoping for any hint of recognition as he always did when he mentioned this ancient thing. He sighed, seeing no sign of such. He gestured to the stained glass window behind him, but kept his eyes on the twelve.

“You may find that there are thoughts and memories circling your head that do not make sense. They are not your own. They belong to the gemstones. They are calling to each of you for help. Without you, this world, all of Juvela, all of Fiorza, will be destroyed.”

“This is sudden, and I apologize. You are all much too young to have to face the dangers ahead,” He said, a hand moving to rub his bushy brow.

“You may have gathered from the memories you’ve been given, but a long time ago, all twelve countries of Juvela were one. It was ruled by a powerful creature called the Being, a great and merciful thing. My ancestors were privileged to be able to work at the Being’s side and pass down the stories to me so that I might teach others. But, for all the joy they held for being so close to the Being, it was soon replaced by sorrow. A rumor began to spread amongst the people of Juvela. To possess a piece of the Being’s flesh is to be granted extraordinary power. This rumor was right in a way, as proven by you all, but the Being must choose to grant one this power; one must be worthy. There was a frenzy among the people to claim a piece of the Being, but it loved humans, and did nothing to stop the calamity that ensued. Its body was scattered across Juvela, unable to do anything but watch as the humans it loved fought one another to claim a power they could not have. Over time, its unbearable sadness turned to anger and even now, it is slowly collecting itself together, wishing nothing more than to obliterate the humans it once loved,” The rotund man paused, always having enjoyed dramatic effect.

“The pieces that are now a part of you, these pieces are all that is left of its compassion toward the human race. They have sought you out for one purpose: to find the pieces of the Being and stop the destruction it intends to cause. This has been foretold centuries ago by something you have grown up with as a nursery rhyme:

The Twelve shall rise through blood and gem,

Just as the world begins to dim,

No being safe from the brightest stone,

From sins mortals must atone,

A light to pierce the lasting night,

A sacrifice to make things right,” As those last words left his plump left, the chapel darkened as though day had suddenly turned to night. A tremor erupted across the ground, knocking the man off of his stubby feet. A crack appeared through the stained glass window and it shattered, sending glass shards across the chapel. Dark storm clouds rumbled angrily across the sky, slinging snow and cold wind through the Temple. Then, as quickly as it began, the sky brightened again and there was no sign of what had just happened beyond the stained glass that now littered the floor.

“The Being is growing in strength. You all should leave soon. Collect the pieces of the Being. Your gemstones will guide you. Do not let any piece meet. Do not let your gemstones touch the stray pieces. When you have enough pieces, you will be led to the Being. Convince it to spare the Fiorza…” He paused, swallowing hard as he gripped the sides of the altar. “Or completely destroy the Being."

As the native to Phailin, Ballard arrived last. The Jewels assumed he would be the most accessible and unfortunately chose to approach him the night before this meeting. Willing, Ballard agreed to come with them but he was unable to keep up with their usual, completely reasonable speed. The mini jewel caravan was slowed to a mere crawl with him in tow. They expected a much smaller, fitter individual so they made the mistake of not traveling with a warhorse or riding bear. Ballard was too large for their horses and forced to walk on foot.

His complaints were endless, and his feet sore after a sleepless night. Upon reaching the Chapel, Ballard was as unconscious as the day he found the gem. He nearly took up an entire pew on his own, it would be an uncomfortable situation for anyone next to him.

As shattering glass broke the lecture of the old man, Ballard woke up. His arm swung lazily over his face to defend himself. The few flecks of glass approaching him froze midair and fell to the ground. He seemed surprised that none of the glass tapped his thick robed arm so he examined it with bear-like curiosity.

Stunned awake Ballard had few complaints except that there was more talk of travel. He politely waited for the man to finish talking before he spoke up.
“Surely, we don’t all have to go out and fetch the shards? Some of us might have skills suited for more sedimentary tasks?” Ballard offered up to the doomsayer. He was not prepared or interested in leaving Phailin, the many layers of robes keeping him cozy warm made that clear.

He had little interest in the others thus far, there were no chances of their powers being superior to his and even less chances they would be at his level intellectually.

Stained glass covered the floor, Ana had been at the chapel for a while listening to the man speak of the Being. Many more people were in the room with her, all of them making her uneasy she trusted none of them. They all appeared to be in the same situation all with gems somewhere on their bodies. Listening to what the large man who had entered the chapel she somewhat agreed to what he was saying, what if most of them didn’t have much skill in the art of combat. Ana had reasonable skill in combat but most did not, let alone if she could trust them. She continued to lean on one of the pillars near the pews away from anyone else but still close enough to hear everything the man at the front of the chapel was saying.

She chose not to speak, she did not mind the thought of travel nor the fact that she could help others. She had travelled all the way from Afi, the trip was long and tiring but she didn’t complain so she was prepared to travel a lot further for the sake of saving millions of innocents.

She rubbed the gem in the middle of her chest with her thumb, she looked around the room looking at everyone she was curious about their powers and how difficult it would be to even persuade a creature like the Being to stop its rampage. When the man spoke of memories or of the gems speaking to them she had noticed when she first came across her gem that there was slight whispering, nothing she could understand unfortunately but it drew her towards it. Ana came quite accustomed to the gem and its power keeping in mind she had problems controlling it at first but she has come to manage some of its power in the short two years that she has had with this gem.

Mercer was one of the later ones to arrive at the chapel. He had been making many stops on his way here, singing and performer all across the land ,he had already written two new songs on the way
here. He wasn't really interested in coming here at first but he was convinced it would be good for his musical career. All the way here he was so excited to meet all the other vessels thinking of all the most important things he needed to tell them about himself ,he though to himself that they many songs to be written about each one of them. He really wanted to make a big entrance charging in as a huge bear or something, but he couldn't find one sadly, when he arrived he had to stay quite till the rest of the vessels arrived as well to his disappointment.

He listened patiently to the old man speaking, the part about the nursery rhyme was his favorite bit it really spoke to him. After the man had done talking about their joined tasked he couldn't of been more excited. Traveling across the whole world, the songs that where going to sung about this epic adventure!

After the old man was done talking, and the big guy gave his thoughts,he spoke up ''Hey I don't mind going out searching for the gemstones or staying here! I shall write a song about this meeting'' He said with the biggest grin on his face taking out a lute and starting to play it softly. The children of today's children are going to talking about this moment, was the only thing going though his head right now.

Well, since Nich and the Jewels was gathering all 12 vessels here. Sophia just willing decided to join them not only for protection, but she was curious about what their powers were here.
As they later arrived at the chapel of the Jeweled Temple, Nich started to talk about the gemstones, the being, and what they are supposed to do here. 'Interesting.' thought Sophia, since she has been wondering what those weird memories in her head were.
Sophia continues to listen to Nich until she got freaked out by the stained glass window shattering part, which did cause her to float a little bit.
Once Nich was done explaining everything to them; Sophia just quietly looked at both Ballard and Ana. Because she was curious of who was going to prevent Ballard from leaving the group, since she knew that he might die if he did that. For they aren't the only ones who know about that nursery rhyme, and some people would actually believe in that. But they might get the wrong message about it, and think that they are the bad guys here.

She'd been observing many things around the room from one of the stone benches in the back, leaning her scarf covered torso over with small balls of lint and cotton gathering on the backrest. Afif hadn't stood still since her escort delivered her, having scurried into the corner with a small group of other Jewels. Obviously talking about her, she dismissed it as a friendly gesture thinking they had bonded together in the long seven months they spent together.

This along with the colorful array of wall decorations averted her attention away from the others admiring how they all had their own styles, doubting that they could be created in such a place as 'stuck up' as Phailin. She had suddenly been entranced by the patterns, childishly tracing them with her fingers like a young one who couldn't stay interested in the boring lecture their preacher was giving them.

The 'largely' built man had finally concluded his lecture leading her to snap out of her dazed state. The glass she was previously tracing shattered, completely snapping her aware. Although she would've simply turned invisible from the shock, the snow that had gotten on her previously prevented her from doing so, at least completely. Small portions of her neck had been exposed from the scarf allowing those around her to see it's invisibility.

She heard one of the men she'd heard, although not comparable to the one in front of her. Assuming he was talking about the glass shards she responded in confusion "Why would we have to clean these glass shards on the floor, and how would our new abilities help with that?" While she was speaking she began to tap her feet, unknowingly responding to the beat made by the red-haired musician.

Ballard furrowed his dark bushy eyebrows. Idiots. They were idiots. Well, at least one of them was an idiot. He turned to face the idiot, a petite, mousy girl. She tapped her feet as if she was impatient. She probably had some stupid, girly power, like talking to animals. It would at least explain her distress over having to clean up the glass, an army of squirrels would be a little difficult to procure in Phailin.

"Do you really think I was talking about these glass shards?" He rolled his eyes generously and gestured at the glass on the floor. "Cleaning this room is a, ah, simple task." He claimed smoothly with a unnecessary amount of confidence. Without moving or gesturing Ballard summoned a broom from its resting place in the back corner of the chapel. It shot across the room at an uncontrollable speed but luckily stopped before hitting the remaining glass. Slowly it floated down and began sweeping up the mess. Keeping the broom sleeping wasn't a thoughtless task for Ballard, it did take some concentration but it was rhythmic enough he remained unaffected.

"Since I apparently wasn't clear enough before, I was talking about the Being's shards. Send the same people you sent to fetch us, send the willing gem carriers in this room. But know we're not all blindly traipsing across the continent for your Being bits." Ballard clarified what he felt needed no clarification.

Mercer was quietly playing his lute thinking up rhymes looking to Ballard,he smiled and suddenly changed the tempo of his lute. He ran up to Ballard touching his shoulder turning into his from. He then began to sing in his voice ''Oh one had a huge ass, and he loved to clean up glass'' Brilliant! He though to himself, being very pleased he stood up to the alter right next to the old man looking at the rest of the vessels waiting for them to do something he could make into a song.

He slowed down the tempo of his lute thinking hard as he looked to the blue haired girl that talked earlier ''Hmmm, what rhymes with blue?'' He muttered quietly some rhymes ''The young blue haired girl was very shew, and she tried very hard to get a clue'' He almost burst out laughing to himself. Turly out doing himself he looked over to the other vessels in the room now having a good view of them all wondering what else was going to happen.

Sophia gently poked Mercer, so he would stop saying bad things about the other vessels in his song here. 'That probably got his attention, since I want to say something about this.' thought Sophia, since she is the quiet but smart one in the group.

She then looked at Ballard with a frown on her face, since he doesn't understand the situation that they are in when they found these gemstones. Because Ballard should have picked up,
'the great tragedy has fallen upon you all' part that Niel has said before; plus he is being a bit stupid for asking the Jewels to go fetch the Being's shards here. For they won't be able to find it, and they are also taking the risk of getting himself killed by somebody who misunderstood that nursery rhyme.

( Sophia understands the situation better than Ballard himself here. xD )

Mercer looked down to see a small girl poking at him ''Oh I understand'' He said putting his lute away, turning back into his normal form ''You want to know about the amazing and mythical Mercer, bard of valor, minstrel of the millennia, they call me many names and my name is sung in songs all over the world'' He said smiling looking her in the eyes ''But you can just call me Johnny Depp,I'ed be more then happy to give you a autograph''

"....Um, no. I don't want an autograph, since I just want for you to stop saying bad things about the other vessels in your little song here. Because they could probably hear you singing about that, and then become angry over it. Also thanks for saying your name here." said Sophia, since she is a bit straight to the point here. '...Never heard of him before, but Mercer is probably from Mzia if his ego is the size of his forehead here.' thought Sophia.

Afif slowed her tapping, naturally as the tempo of the man changed, coming to a slower more concentrated beat. Although the man she'd spoken earlier with made a strange expression, she tried to mimic it but stopped as she was immediately perked up by his strange display. "Oh" Uttering a small peep as he seemingly teleported a broom, as soon as he seemed to be bringing it to him it moved away in a swift movement in order to sweep some of the more visible glass shards up. She stared cross-eyed at the broom and scanned around, there was probably another one somewhere, but she seemed to miss it. She ruffled her scarf once more, thinking about showing the man her new "talent", in comparison to hers but for all she knew, that might've simply been a birthright ability.

She let out a snicker as the bard of sorts called the man she was addressing fat, in a catchy tune making it all the better although she shriveled her eyebrows as she was called shew. She thought she heard the word before, and assumed it meant observant. Almost immediately following up a girl of shorter stature responded prior, Afif noticed her seemingly attempted to shush the outgoing man. Although she looked back at the man who had sung, following with a more serious face, perhaps the word she was unfamiliar with was an insult? She simply shrugged it off, figuring she could ask one of the two standouts later.

cathedral_sketch_for_udon_by_loligosquid-db9k9lo.jpg
Udon hummed and ran a hand through his silvery hair. He was contemplating scribbling out what he had just drawn. The sketch was unfinished but the subject was also destroyed. He had gotten down a rough sketch of the cathedral before the glass shattered and was more concerned about the loss of the work of art than the others seemed to be. Unlike the others bickering, singing, talking, he was silent.

His eyes looked sad, Udon wasn't about to reign in this disaster the bard was brewing. But he was fascinated for a moment when the bard copied the other... larger, man. It ruined the bard's voice though, the fat man had the vocal cords of a goat. Udon felt he could confidently make that remark, he probably had the most trained voice here, not that he was going to use it.

Closing his sketchbook he kept out his graphite stick. As he pocketed the book in his winter gear, he rubbed graphite off his hand onto his white garments leaving a grey smudge on the ruined clothes.

He approached the others without saying a word and walked straight up to the one who was singing so crudely, now sweet talking a lady. He began to draw a circle on the floor around Mercer.

Mercer giggled to himself ''You know the songs I start here are the begging of tales that will be told of our adventures for years to come.I understand the graves impotent's of our task and in-turn the grave impotent's of my music'' He gave Sophia a little wink ''Don't worry they'll plenty of time for you get to know me. I'm sure you could ever ask one of the other vessel's about me'' He said pretty confidently,he didn't notice the odd boy drawing circles around him at first,as he was to court up in his own world,he looked at him with a bardic smile only bard could have ''Are you going to do a magic trip? I love magic tricks'' He said excited.

“I know, but do you need to mention about his weight in your song. Since there are some people who would take the huge ass part as an insult here, and he probably doesn't even love to clean up glass with a broom. Also the second sentence about the blue haired girl could be a bit better, like the blue haired girl shimmers like the ocean. She observed the many things around the room with her blue eyes.” said Sophia.

Sophia then looked at the guy who was drawing a circle around Mercer, since she has a feeling that it is for insulting Ballard. “Um. I think the circle is for the guy you called fat in your song here, Mercer.” said Sophia, since she is not sure if the circle is really for that.

As the bard let Udon complete the circle, Udon smiled and nodded. Magic trick? Sure. For the guy he called fat? Sure. Udon moved upwards with a flourish and drew a circle as high as he could reach above Mercer's head. With little indication the two circles connected forming a cylinder shield around the bard, hopefully protecting him from anything that might happen and containing the damage he was already doing. Any sounds would echo weirdly because of the contained space but any future music would unfortunately not be silenced.

Meanwhile, Ballard looked displeased. Instead of throwing him into a rage the bard had only succeeded in making him more upset about needing to travel with these fools. Performers were untalented rats that don't deserve a penny for their "services". He didn't quite know how to react to the new, structure, that was being drawn into existence. There were two thick black lines, one at the base and one floating in the air as if they created a cylinder. This new, silent, character had a very interesting power.

The blond bimbo spoke up to clarify the obvious. That did not help the situation in the slightest. Ballard was even more convinced of the idiocy of this group that they might need basic manners like not insulting others explained to them. Moving forward though Ballard decided to test a hypothesis. He re-took control of the broom and shot it as fast as he could at the cylinder. The wood split on contact, leaving the bard inside maybe panicked but completely unharmed.

"Summoning Shields. Useful." Ballard commented, looking at the artist with some respect.

Udon gave Ballard a little salute and walked away to interact with one of the quieter vessels.

Ana watched as four vessels had a simple disagreement over some song lyrics, she agreed it was a bit out of line to say that kind of stuff but things were being taken out of proportion. She didn’t agree about using their powers against each other, if they were going to be travelling together they needed to get along…. didn’t mean she was going to start trusting them but she hated seeing people ganging up on one person when the problem could be easily solved. She moved away from the pillar she was leaning against and approached the guy trapped in the cylinder, she tapped on the shield using the middle part of her index finger to grab Mercer’s attention. “Please think about the words you choose carefully” she spoke her voice quiet yet firm, she wanted to avoid any conversations with anyone in the group but they were right the words he used could be taken as an insult rather than a joke and she knew quite well what simple words taken the wrong way could do. She turned her attention to Ballard, who had sent a broom flying towards Mercer earlier “If you do not wish to join in travelling, you are free to go” She said addressing the fact he did not want to go on this journey, although what would happen if he did not join she did not know. “But please do not be rude to others, purely because you are displeased” talking about him using his powers against another vessel.

She had noticed he spoke highly as if he was better than the others, especially when he spoke about getting them to send the people who had gathered them to deal with the shard which annoyed her greatly. She did not speak another word to the others, as she felt she had spoken what was on her mind, whether the two guys took what she said into consideration she did not know. She turned around to go back to where she was standing, she didn’t like being near people for too long and this was roughly how long she wanted to be near them.

ERIS BELLONA

Eris had to try her hardest not to laugh, she knew that she supposedly was one to save the world. However,
it was rich, a thief somehow becoming a hero. It was just something that cracked her up, soon her facade keeping a calm face sputtered out into full blown laughter. Her hand over stomach, "Oh. Oh this is.." She didn't finish her words as she started to tear up from all the joyous irony of it all, her hood draping over her face, a shadow casting over it with strands of golden hair becoming visible underneath. "G-give me a moment, You think, as amazing as our powers are. That we can all just get along and go on a road trip together to god knows where despite none of us knowing each other before this." He asked the man, the display of the power of The Being's awakening was impressive, to say the least as it had the power to change the weather on a whim of his. Eris wasn't trying to sound mean or cruel, hee was actually agreeing with the man's words. They were not ready. Not a single bit. She, herself, couldn't fully master her own power as it still had their restrictions. If they were up against the person who gave them their powers, it only made sense that they were masters of every kind of their gems powers and more if they were able to create man itself. They were asking Twelve people, all of young age and full of youth to fight or persuade God himself after their betrayal. It almost sounded like a set-up for a massacre or sacrifice to the immortal being.

Bellona watched the group disperse, at least one of which having the bright idea, no sarcasm noted, to just not do anything and let a few of the ones who were willing to join on this vague quest and to a thief like her, vague means loopholes and loopholes didn't seem all too friendly to her when they are pointed against her. The socialization between them seemed almost normal, or at least how she saw normal people act. Her eyes following the chalk as they made a circle, a shield springing out. Eris pondered for a moment at the display, first thinking about what his power was. He was able to create a shield but there was nothing stopping her from thinking he was able to do anything else. That trail of thought ran until the sound of cracking wood, "...Not to mention how we aren't exactly on the best foot just yet, and is this really the time to be a critic." Eris said, keeping that comment to herself and under her breath once one began to try to be the 'mother' of the group. Her eyes finally getting a good look at everyone... and especially of their wares, two people in particular as she spied a number of finely made cloaks on a single person and the other... well let's just say she wouldn't be showing her back to her, if she went with them.. it could prove EXTREMELY profitable...but... you know. Death. That was a thing to worry about.

Snoring quietly Calvin is awaken by the loud disagreement going on between the other gems and shrugged. He then quickly remembered the situation he was in and the others were too"Well this should be a interesting time".He slowly stood up and stretched out then thought to himself while gazing across the room"Ok Cal you can do this just socialize
".He walked over to the girl that he saw glance at him and then pulled out a small mirror and looked at himself"Oh I look a mess"he mumbled to himself while fixing his hair and then straightened his rather expensive vest he was wearing.

He then quickly looked around the room and sighed thinking about what the man said"
The being or whatever gave me my powers huh and then turned evil some story"he thought to himself and hoped that the other vessels could get along if not fight. He then realized the other vessels were pretty young themselves and thought"Wait we won't be ready if I'm not the youngest one here I know how to use my powers but not master them yet"he then sighed and just hoped that the rest mastered their powers now or at least know how to use them better than it is.

Then he gazed attention over at the girl again and the word quickly went through his head"
Thief"he thought and was sure of it be recongnizing the look in her eye and walked over to her anyway. He stuck out his hand and gave a heartwarming smile"H..hello I'm Calvin..Calvin Kor if you suggest full name but whats yours anyway"he slightly sighed to himself and thought"Not bad not bad at all me"feeling quite accomplished he smiled a little wider and pushed it a bit with a wink.

Mercer nodded at girl, that was a stick in the mud, talking to him. Hm He had his work cut out for him,he was going to need to show her how to relax and have fun. As soon as she mention the part where he probably didn't even like to clean up glass he burst in tears laughing ''Hahahaha!'' He started to grab his sides to try and stop the pain ''Hahahaha you right! He probably doesn't'' He loved just how serious she was about that.

It was at this point the artist had finished drawing his circle,he honestly didn't even notice until he heard a loud snapping noise,he didn't even realize who throw the broom. He was truly amazed though ''Woaah! We have a magician, this is super cool'' He took out his lute again ''We should tot-'' But before he could finish someone else was trying to get his attention.

Ahhh, here comes another one wanting a autograph he though,he nodded at her comments. Hmmm shes right, that song was a bit lack luster it needed more tuning and lines till it could sung, one of the vessels is a true critic it seemed. He had to make extra sure his songs where the best they could be for this vessel. She then spoke to the big guy ''Wait wait wait!'' He tried to say to her realizing his voice was all weird ''Wooahh!'' He coughed ''Wait wait! Don't make anyone leave we've only just began our adventures! We all haven't even introduced ourselves. I say we all have a grand party with plenty of singing and dancing so that we can all get to know each other.I know the most amazing person here in this room, but some people are not as amazing and might trying to introduce themselves.I don't think its fair if I'm the only one with all the glory here.'' He said with that confident smile of his.

Ana had stopped and turned to face Mercer, she didn’t want to exactly get to know everyone and especially not if it was going to be in a party situation, she became tense at the thought - which would be noticeable to anyone looking in her direction. Yes, introducing themselves may ease the tension a bit but not all of it, since one of them was trapped inside a cylinder-shaped field. Singing and dancing was not her thing she was more the type of just standing over by the wall and not interacting with anyone or she’s honestly rather not go. Before they could even start introductions, Mercer needed to be let out of the field he was trapped in. She looked over to the person who drew the field, it had appeared as if Mercer had learnt his lesson and whatnot but it was truly up to them if they would remove the field or not.

Sophia smiled a little bit when Mercer started to laugh about the clean up glass part, but then frowned in disappointment when Ana just asked Ballard to leave. "I am not surprised that some of the vessels want to leave here, Mercer; since they probably want to have a death wish by doing that. Because they have no idea that if they are people like the Jewels, who think that we can save the world; then there are some people, who think that we are the bad guys here. So pretty much, we have no choice but to stay as a group, because nobody wants to die from those people." said Sophia, who was leaning on the force field. Because out of all of the vessels; Sophia is the most ready for this adventure here.

Helios didn't like the fighting that was going on at all, there were so many better ways to get things done than what was already happening. They could have calmly talked, or done anything other than precisely what they were doing. He didn't want to get any closer, though. The large man had already shown that he had the power to break whatever he wanted, and he didn't want to risk pissing someone like that off.
