The Cats of the Cold
Welcome to an alpine region not exactly specified because this is a fictional roleplay. There resides two clans that live between and beside the Mountain region that holds a sacred place for them to meet Starclan within its' caverns.
Tundraclan
A clan residing on the flat plains below the mountain. They hunt in the open and are well equipped to deal with the harshest of winters. Their territory has very few trees, but many shrubs and tallish grass as well as the most beautiful flowers that turn the plains into a reddish color or even a yellow color depending on which part of the territory you are on. They feed on pika (a hamster like creature), lemmings, birds, and rabbits. They may deal with some of the harshest parts of the weather, but their prey is just as adapt as they are and they usually are well supplied even in cold (though it is less). There camp is actually quite cozy having formed a camp within a large underground cave that you can find by entering a crank within the territory. It is well supported by large roots and stalactite formations. It protects them from the harsh cold and is quite cozy due to the hot springs flowing from underneath. There is also a river bordering the right side of their territory. It is usually always running and leads into the small lake in Mistclan.
Mistclan
This clan resides in a more sheltered part of the territory. There are usually dense pine trees and they live within the mountain valley which helps to block out much of the wind. Due to the hotsprings in their territory combining with the cold air, there is a permanent mist that covers the land. In all strangeness, they can also swim and like to fish for their food within their warm lake and slightly warmer river that crosses into the lake and leads back through the valley. If a cat isn't a strong enough swimmer, the current has been known to drag cats off deep into the mountain range. Still, there are many hot spring formations on the territory that provide good fishing as all of the holes are connected and flow from underneath. They can also hunt mice and squirrels, but prefer the sweet taste of fish. Their camp is in a small cavern within one of the mountain sides at the edge of one side of their territory. They chose a cave in case of an avalanche. At one point the camp did reside near the hotspring, but lesson was learned when many died.
Border between
The border between the two clans is a mix of both. The trees become randomly placed and the Tundra opens while, for the Tundra, trees appear. It can lead to some deep disputes since cats will hunt there due to the mixed region and will cross the border markings. Prey stealing is a common accusation between these clans.
Special Locations
To get to the Cave of Moons, cats must follow the Starlight Valley up the mountain. It is a valley that, at night, glimmers and sparkles from the moons light. The Cave of Moons is where the med cats talk to starclan and the leader gets their nine lives. Deep within the cave there are diamonds that refract the moons light through a hole and make one feel like they have entered starclan.
The Gathering Place happens at the Great Stones which are stone formations that form a stair like formation with a place for both leaders and right below them their deputy and plenty of room for the cats of the clans. Due to weather, this place is in a sort of depression or small crank within the ground that leads to an underground cavern that way the clans can still see the stars and moon.
