Time: Morning, few days before celebration on the Island of M.O.S.W, where dragons will be allowed to enter there for a one day. A new guardian will be chosen soon.

(Small introduction)

The morning mist was hanging over the islands. Ocean waves crashed against the rocky and sandy shore, a cool wind was quietly moving the leaves of the green trees, growing on the archipelago.

The inhabitants of this peaceful paradise begin to slowly wake up. The first were an insects that settled on plants to drink the morning dew. After them, white gulls flew out of the nests and with their unbearable screams effectively woke up a “small brothers”. Rabbits carefully came out from their hideouts, hoping that they wasn’t noticed by dogs or… dragons. That beasties usually woke up at the end, although there were a few exceptions.

But for sure, one of the oldest, Fuddy, wasn’t one of those early risers. Black female only turned over when one of the annoying gulls flew over her lair, made in a crevice, on the Flame Mountain island.

Nawi stretched as she stood up from an early nap. The smell of the ocean was refreshing. She could hear gulls cawing out in the distance. She spread out all four wings as far as she could and dug her claws into the rock beneath her.

After she finished loosening up, she sat down on the cold rock beneath her. Soon it was to be the celebration on the island of M.O.S.W. She was excited to explore the island again. She was at the entrance to a cave, the ledge beneath her hanging over an ocean. A large dragon would have crumpled the ledge and fallen in, but with her small size she was able to use it as a resting place. Standing up once more, she backed up to the wall behind her for a head start. She ran forward and jumped, her wings spreading and catching the wing as she fell into a glide.

Iytisan looked longingly up at the seagulls flying above him. It was as if they were mocking him. His stomach was empty and he wasn't happy about it. Standing at the edge of the ocean, near the steep rocks where the gulls would land to rest, he dropped into a crouch. His scales shimmered to match his surroundings. He crept down the rocks, careful not to slip or make noise. He pounced. A gull struggled between his claws, and he bit it's neck so it would go limp.

In the center of Little Brother's island the early morning sun shone down into the depths of the lake. Nestled within the hard clay of the body of water a bright blue egg lay undisturbed. Small fish swam around the unhatched creature though none seemed to pay it much mind as the egg itself was many times larger than any of the guppies. The shell of the azure egg budged slightly as the creature hidden within it began to rouse. There was another bump as a tiny crack began to show of the egg's shell. A tiny yellowish horn poked through the crack. It began to struggle and with effort and a slew of bubbles a triangular blue head was released into the water.

The smaller shell fragments began to float upwards to the water's surface as the baby dragon made its first movements. Swimming through the water with some instinct instilled in it before it hatched. Using its tail like a rudder the little dragon pushed away from where it'd hatched to distance itself from the schools of fish that began to investigate the egg he'd just come from. The hatchling watched them with a curious expression before its head went to the surface. A bright light shone through even to the lakebed. With a swish of the tail the little dragon pushed himself to the surface. Breaching the water with a splash of bubbles and froth. Droplets washed down the bright scales as he inspected his surroundings. Taking in the brightening sky for the first time he was in a bit of awe.

Around the little dragon sat a lake, the banks were covered in reeds and large stones breached the surface as well which looked like good spots to rest. There were creatures all around, fish below him, birds above him and even some biggish looking creatures taking drinks of the lake water at the very edge. Sticking to the reeds so as to try and stay hidden. The little dragon went back under the surface. Swimming through the water as fish moved to stay out of his way. Pushing his way through the lake bed he pushed his face through some weeds that were at the bottom of the water. Watching as some slightly bigger fish sped away from his path. He set about to explore this place where he'd hatched.

Brilliant rays of morning sunlight peaked over the horizon, stirring the slumbering islands below. Birds sang their morning tunes, prey ventured from their burrows, and the dragons too, came to rise. Rokk was up with the first sign of morning light, hunting down an early rising deer for breakfast. Once his stomach was full and satisfied, he made the same routine rounds of the island that he had been doing for the past several thousand years. In terms of a dragon of his size, it wasn't very long in terms of lifespan. He was still young and full of life.

Rokk stopped by the lakes edge, ignoring the mysterious centerpiece as he slipped in, a deep hum vibrating from his chest as the cool water slipped between his scales. For now the large dragon was at ease. With the upcoming tournament, he was bound to see some company. The older female Fuddy had left the island and he was there to guard it alone with the other creatures.

Rokk wadded through the water until the sun was a bit higher in the sky before dragging himself out, sitting out on a rocky area to sun bathe, picking at his talons to clean and trim them like a cat. Once he was satisfied with his clean claws, he rolled over onto his side and enjoyed the warmth of the day heating up his red-copper scales.

Rokk wa gliding through the air high above M.O.S.W, gazing at the neighboring islands longingly. How he wished for some company. He reminded himself that the fights would take place soon, and there would be plenty of younglings to keep him busy. He lazily circled the skies, snapping at seagulls that dared get too close to the might Guardian.
