Camp Half-Blood was supposed to be a safe haven. A place where demigods around the country even world could gather, train and most importantly learn how to protect themselves. What went wrong?

It started off subtle. A camper on a seemingly-easy quest went missing, never to be seen again. The same day, rain started. Of course, with the Camp's magical boundary, it remained dry, but the mortal world was battered with heavy rain, high-speed winds, tornadoes, hurricanes and even earthquakes. It didn't take long for even Camp Half-Blood to be affected with the horrid weather that eventually started bypassing the boundary. The reason was eventually discovered; Weather gods. Khione, goddess of snow, was dead. Her father, Boreas, too terrified of the oncoming threat to do his job. Aeolus was kidnapped by an unknown person... Or persons. And they weren't the only ones.
Scroll Down
Camp was on edge. It rested on the hands of the demigods to solve this crisis, but there was no prophecy being given, no quest being sent. The Olympians had all but disappeared - staying in Olympus every day, not communicating with their children. At all. If anyone thought that communications between the gods and their children... think twice now. It was Chiron who managed to find out the truth - there was a thief. Someone had snuck into Olympus and stolen the sacred item of every Olympian god. Hades' Helm, Poseidon's trident, Zeus' bolt, Aphrodite's rose, Dionysus' goblet, and the list goes on. Disappeared without a trace. It didn't take long for the demigods to guess that the same person was behind both threats, and the growing number of disappearing demigods from Camp.

A quest is in order. A group of chosen twelve demigods are needed to solve this threat before it gets worse, and before Camp Half-Blood is just another casualty of war.

The Items
Zeus' Masterbolt. (Click)
This powerful rod of electric volts is the source to all the lightning in the skies. The Bolt is quite self explanatory as it is able to shoot multiple shard of electricity and lightning. The bigger the shot bolt, the more drained it gets. This is due to the fact that the Master-bolt is not being wielded by it's rightful owner but by a demigod. However, the bolt has a recovery period of at least 27 hours to regain it's full potential once more.

Hades' Helm. (Click)
The famous helm of darkness can render the wearer invisible. It can only be utilized once around a period of 24 hours from the moment the user strips it off their head. So it has to be used wisely. Whenever the helm is worn, despite being invisible, the demigod is still solid and therefore they cannot phase or go through objects. They can bump with obstacles and make their presence known if they are not aware.

Poseidon's Trident. (Click)
The almighty trident has the ability to shake the plates of the earth with one hit deep in the grounds. Like the two above, the trident has it's own recovery time. Again, not being with it's rightful wielder will not have or perform it's full effect. However, it can still cause crevices in the ground and shake it enough to cause a minor earthquake on the Richter Scale.

Ares' Shield. (Click)
Having Ares' shield is like having yourself encased in a bubble where you cannot be harmed. If activated, the shield widens and broadens in order to increase its' surface area for more coverage. That being said, the bubble can only last a few solid seconds. Despite the bubble deactivates, the metallic part of the shield is still there, still serving it's purpose. The only difference is the protection is only where the demigod is shielding and not 360 degrees around.

Aphrodite's Rose. (Click)
A few specks of pollen trickled down on a desired target followed by the user. The user will and is capable to temporarily shift his own appearance to that of his target's desire. The effects of this glamour are again only temporary and within fifteen minutes or less can easily start to wear off. If there is no pollen left on the rose, then no effect will take place until new pollen grains are regenerated.

Hephaestus' Hammer. (Click)
Despite looking very harmless, if smashed against the ground of a certain area it is able to stun for a tempo of five seconds withing a small radius around the point of effect. Like any other sacred item, due to not wielded by its' rightful owner, the hammer starts losing efficiency once it's repetitively used.

Apollo's Lyre. (Click)
A nice harmonious melody from the strings of this lyre can heal minor injuries. The more fatal the injuries are, the longer the time takes for its' regenerative process in order to be used efficiently once more.

Artemis' Bow & Quiver. (Click)
Having this bow followed by the arrows that are enhanced not to miss the caster's desired target. It's a definite bulls-eye when the arrows are drawn. However, to a disadvantage, only three arrows were left in the quiver. Only three shots to attempt.

Athena's Gorgon Shield. (Click)
This shield has the ability to induce fear into monstrous species. Other godly deities and demigods can be temporarily effected. If each serpent on the shield is retracted towards the gorgon's head, the induced fear no longer takes effect. Once the serpents are spread back to their edges, the shield is recharged.

Demeter's Cornucopia. (Click)
A nicely woven cone shaped basket which magically shoots and overflows with fresh produce such as nuts, vegetables, fruit and so on. Flowers and other edibles can also be thrown in the mix. Sure it's not very helpful but it comes useful when someone needs a snack or a massive 'spray gun'.

Hermes' Caduceus. (Click)
This scepter enclosed with serpents allows the wielder to have some enhanced movement speed as long as the two serpents eyes are open. When the serpents are out of energy they will rest and the amount of time they sleep. It is the amount of time that the caduceus recharges. Let's face it, thos snakes are really lazy.

Dionysus' Goblet. (Click)
This goblet is every party goer's lucky finding. This silver vine engraved chalice has the ability to turn any liquid poured in it, especially water into wine. Who wouldn't want that for some fine dining?
The Rules
โ—ˆ First and foremost, my dearest co-GMs for this little idea are Play On Words Play On Words and CtrlAltDelicious CtrlAltDelicious . Their word is as good as mine!
โ—ˆ This will be based on the lore from the Percy Jackson Universe by Rick Riordan so no new crazy wild inventions just because greek mythology says so.
โ—ˆ If you have any ideas or pointers you would like to give along the way, by all means, do not hesitate to let us know. However, it is upon discussion whether we incorporated or not.
โ—ˆ This is an invite only roleplay with the maximum of twelve demigods. (2 maximum per roleplayer)
โ—ˆ Basic generic rules apply; No God-Modding and no over-powered characters. We try to keep this fair and fun for each and every one of us.
โ—ˆ We are aiming for at least a minimum of one to three replies per week.
โ—ˆ If two characters are conversing and one of them does not reply withing a three day limit, the other roleplayer may go ahead and skip along.
โ—ˆ We need around at least two juicy paragraphs for a reply and more importantly in the third person perspective.
โ—ˆ Last but not least do not forget to have fun! I will eventually add links for easier navigation.

Personality: Growing up with a sibling like Flint, Aeron was pretty used to living in the background. Sure, at camp, people respected him well enough, since he was a child of the Big Three, but he didn't have the plethora of friends, and certainly not the pretty girls following him around, that his brother was accustomed to having. He never got the chance to prove himself. That being said, he constantly strives to be more than just Flint's little brother, makes a reputation for himself instead of accepting the one he was given. From the moment he got to camp, he tried to be kind to everyone, not wanting to make enemies, and the people who refused to accept that, he simply ignored. He has a dark sense of humor, mostly death-related, and has a tendency to take things far too seriously. While around friends, like many people, certain aspects of his personality change. He's friendlier, jokes about some more lighthearted things, and even cracks a smile occasionally. He's fiercely protective and loyal toward those he cares about, whether they need/want his protection or not, which tends to irritate people. Despite what people think of him, he's a natural leader, he's not afraid of much, and he's ambitious - He'll see anything through until the end.
Backstory: Despite the fact that he was only two years younger than his brother, Flint, Aeron always felt like an outsider in his family. Their mother, Alexandria Lockwood, owned a museum that focused predominantly in metal sculptures, which explained why Hephaestus fell for her, and Flint was born. But Aeron saw no explanation for Hades' fascination with her. Either way, two years later, Aeron was born. He and his brother slept in the living room for several years, in their cramped apartment in Hell's Kitchen. Meanwhile, when Flint was off intimidating classmates and flirting with girls, Aeron was actually focusing on his schooling. Every time Flint got in a fight(and won, to be fair), Aeron was the one sitting there, trying to stitch whatever cuts he had closed, forcing him to bandage the bad wounds.

Flint went to camp when he was young, to help their mother. After all, this way, in the summer, she only had one mouth to feed, her six-year old. When he was eight, the worst possible thing happened - she died. A car accident on her way to pick up Aeron from school, which ended with her in the morgue, and Aeron staying at his uncle's house until he was twelve, and joined his brother at camp. Immediately, it was like middle school again. Everyone adored Flint, he had a different, beautiful girl on his arm every week, which was a real accomplishment when one remembered that there weren't a huge amount of demigods at camp. Then again, his brother wasn't picky. Mortals, demigods, it was all the same. Beyond that, he had a camaraderie with his half-siblings that Aeron could only envy. There was one other child of Hades, an older girl that kind of scared him, and he avoided her if at all possible. He didn't have the friendship, the real bond that his brother had with the children of Hephaestus. And, as it goes at that age, Flint had no interest in looking out for his little brother, especially when he started seeing Felicity. Aeron made a few friends, mostly kids like Peter Bracks, other people who weren't necessarily in the center of attention all the time.
Strength(s): Swordfighting or spearfighting, particularly with a shield, leadership abilities, physically strong and fast, pretty strong godly powers.
Weakness(es): Ranged fighting, authority figures, he's reckless, he'll charge into any situation without pausing to think about it first.

Godly Parent: Hephaestus
Power(s)/Skills: He's immune to and can manipulate fire. He's also incredibly gifted at really any skill that involves making something or fixing something.
Weapon: He has a few, anything he's crafted in the forges that he likes. He has a pen, like one everyone had in fifth grade, with multiple colors, and every color that you push down will morph it into a different weapon. It took him years to make it the way he liked it. Red was a celestial bronze lance, blue was a war hammer, and green was a two-handed sword. He has a shield, but considering he mainly uses two-handed weapons, he rarely uses it. They aren't really a weapon, but he also has a pair of sunglasses that automatically adjust to whatever brightness he's in, including giving him a bit of night vision when he's in a dark room. He's working on a kind of metal bow(because every wooden one he handles shatters in his hands, as he always pulls back too far), but he's had limited success, since it's not really a priority.
Years at Camp: Eleven
Position: Counselor
Item that they shall be retrieving: Hephaestus' Hammer

Personality: Flint is a confident guy, he doesn't consider failure to be an option. He enjoys being the best at everything, which leads him to spending quite a bit of time training. When he's not good at something, it's a sore point (EG: Archery). He isn't a fan of the Gods in general, he never sacrifices food or prays to them, and doesn't appreciate people commenting on his 'odd' behavior. He's a charismatic guy, makes friends with mostly everyone. He generally thinks it's a better idea to have allies instead of enemies, since he's a 'worst case scenario' kind of guy. He's also a bit rough around the edges, probably due to spending most of the first eight years of his life in a pretty rough part of an already rough town, and fending for himself the majority of it. Even when he was younger, some people made the mistake of picking a fight with him, and he rarely lost. He's a natural flirt, he rarely does it on purpose. It's just habit, he likes hitting on people, he even occasionally, without really meaning to, flirts with guys, though he has no sexual attraction to them. To him, it's a game, and one he enjoys winning, he loves the act of seduction so much that, at first, a couple people thought he was a son of Eros or Aphrodite.
Backstory: Flint was born in Hell's Kitchen, where he had to learn to defend himself early on. His mother was broke long before she had a kid, so he didn't live in the best neighborhood, as he had no form of child support being paid to his mother, and it only got worse when his little brother, Aeron, was born.. He hated his father early on, despising the situation he was in and blaming it on his father. His mother never did, but that changed nothing for him. His odd proportions showed up early on, in subtle ways. Obviously, he didn't have very impressive pecs or biceps when he was 6, but he was taller than anyone else in his class, a recurring theme in his childhood. He learned what he was early on, though it did nothing but exacerbate his hatred for his father. An all-powerful God couldn't send a check every once in a while? Couldn't get his mother a nicer apartment, especially considering it was his fault that she was broke? She hadn't needed a kid, she'd needed a better job, but then Hephaestus had to come around and screw things up for her, and Hades had to go and make it worse. He always held a slight amount of bitterness toward his little brother, for making a bad situation worse, not that it was really the kid's fault for being borm.. He went to camp unwillingly when he was eight, just for the summers, to start training in his demigodly abilities, and to make things easier for his mom.. When he was ten, his mother got in a car accident, where the car blew up, and she died. He was the one that suggested Aeron go to their Uncle's instead of joining the camp immediately. For almost two years after that, he avoided the forges, refusing to go near fire, and only honed his hatred for his father, and all of the gods. After all, they were omnipotent, they couldn't have saved a good woman from a painful death? They couldn't have helped her at all? His father, God of fire, couldn't have stopped her from burning to death? It wasn't until he was twelve, and finally went back to the forges, that he found out about his immunity to fire. Unlike most others with such a gift, he saw it as a curse, a cruel joke by the universe. He was immune to fire. Great. If his mother had been, she'd still be alive.

Though he never got over his hostility for his father, he went to camp year-round. After all, where else did he have to go? His brother finally joined camp when the monster attacks started, being extra intense due to his 'powerful' parentage. He went on a single quest, which ended well enough, but gave him a scar on his neck from a sword that almost killed him, about five inches long and is silvery white. He also has a jagged scar on his jawline from a training accident, which leads to him usually growing a bit of a beard to try and hide it.

Strength(s): Brute strength, excellent at fighting with large, heavy weapons, crafting or fixing things.
Weakness(es): He's slow, reckless, not good at battle strategy, far too over competitive, and he cannot use a bow(They tend to break when he tries)

WRONG SECTION XD
