Ann was knocked to the ground as Isao was used to bludgeon her. She got up to her feet and looked at Phoenix who was very weak and could be counter attacked if she played her cards right. Just like Shiro had shown her before that being careless could cost her the whole battle. She couldn’t afford to be careless anymore in battle because she was one of the longest members here and the others needed her.

“Come on Panther,” she thought to herself thinking of a plan, “what would Masami do?” Ann had to admit that she wished Masami was here to come up with an attack plan. Ann then slashed her whip at Phoenix’s armor about as many times as she could and slashed at his talons in an attempt to free Isao from his grasps.

“You know they say that Mothman saves people,” Ann said, “all you do is kill people.” She unloaded a stream of bullets onto Phoenix and then kicked him in the chest. “Guess I have to rely on my fighting skills,” Ann commented, “Fire isn’t really effective against you.” She threw a punch at him with enough power to at least knock his guard off. She then did a roundhouse kick at his head but she expected him to grab her leg though and planned for that. If he did then she would use her other leg to try and push him back.

Just when Swan thought that the Metaverse couldn't get any weirder, she was proven wrong as she stared up at the unidentified flying object with tentacles coming out of it. She snapped out of this incredulous look when she heard from the contraption a girl's voice commanding what she assumed was meant for her and Morgana to follow. Since she just saw the green-robed stranger that helped them just climb into it, she took a chance by trusting these two new people as she hailed her persona to come along with her. And sure enough, her trust was put in the right place as she saw the UFO pave a way for them to get to the control room. With that, just as suddenly as they appeared, they left with haste before any more questions were asked. She wasn't even sure if the one piloting the vehicle even heard Morgana give his thanks to them.

Once they got into the control room she wasn't too surprised to see a futuristic altered version of the principal before them. When the shadow attacked her, she was able to barely block it with the grooves of her chakram and push it away with a grunt as she made way for Scheherazade to attack. "If you insist on fighting then let me teach you a hard lesson Principal Kobayakawa." The fictional Arabian queen made a horizontal swipe with her blade, knocking the principle to the side, letting Swan combo it out by gripping her chakram using it as a makeshift knuckle-duster and punched the side of his helmet. To finish off the combo, she summoned her Eiga ability to form around him. "Class dismissed." She clenched a hand into a fist, letting the aura engulf him.

While the samurai was preoccupied with Swan, Shadow Masami jumped into battle approaching Morgana and changed into her true shadow form as a deceptively innocent Demoness with horns adorned with a pink and white revealing dress. Within her hands she wielded a spear that looked to also be in the shape of a harp in which she held with elegance. "I won't let you lay a paw on my king!" She then pointed the spear at Morgana and from the sharp end, a powerful wave of Psychokinetic energy. After that, she retracted the spear to use the harp portion and played a short melody. Upon hearing the tune, Morgana would be overcome with a strong thought, attempting to brainwashing his mind to think that the shadow was his ally.

The Countess' smile only widened with him playing into what she considered to be flirtatious antics. Each time he called her "love" she inwardly swooned. Unfortunately for him though, in some sick and twisted way, this only fueled her to become more violent with him. At first, she wasn't worried about the state of her claws as she blocked each slash with her own blades. Tiny blue sparks spewed from the between the weapons every time they made contact and even that didn't worry her. It wasn't until she noticed that a few of her blades began to dull and chip due to the quality of the weapon combined with using his ability that her smile faltered. In that very moment one of her beloved metallic claws broke much to her surprise. She then tried to retaliate by blocking one last time before using her persona to let her get hit by the projectile Loki threw back at her. She took out the now bloodied knife from being embedded in her side and threw it at Tragedy's feet to attempt to throw him off. She followed up by attacking with the hand that had four appendages left and placing a long claw on each of his shoulders and and the other two on his sides as she grabbed his free arm. "Intimate, huh? This close enough for you?" She then bit down on his wrist, draining some of his energy instead of his health. "Next time you want me to put away my toys, just ask nicely and I'll do it just like SO" when she pulled away she sliced his shoulders and sides before receding her claws so that they fit back to her forearms.

Imato would just barely notice Countess swoon when he had acted a bit more flirtatious in an attempt to match his foe. 'Well I'll be damned…' He admittedly smiled a bit from the realization but didn't let up when attacking the bladed appendages, which eventually lead to one of the blades snapping from the added nuclear power he had within his attacks. Though his rhythm was interrupted when Countess threw a bladed weapon at his feet, he instinctively avoided the smaller blade only to be caught by the appendage that was still intact.

"Intimate, huh? This close enough for you?"

Before the thief could snap back with his own remark, he would jolt a bit from the Countess' bite. A minor headache soon followed as he felt some of his mental stamina drain, which in turn made Loki disappear once more in an attempt to not waste anymore energy. Imato then grunted out in pain as he was sliced by the jagged blades, though he refused to react any more than that. "Well I suppose I did mention this being a bloody dance…" The boy would remove his coat and roll up his shirt sleeves before a smile returned to his face. Ignoring the pain of his injuries, he cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders before readying his weapon once more. Changing his weapon back to its chained state, Imato would slice away once again at Countess with a small laughter coming from him as he did so.

The thrill of battle was finally starting to fill the thief's brain with further excitement, though it did help that his opponent was one that seemed to be in love with battle (or the pain of others) as well. After a few seconds of the assault, Imato would toss his primary weapon off to the side before lunging forward and grabbing one of Countess' hands. "Quite the shame that you're a merc, love. It would have been fun to have someone like you as an ally instead of another fool to be rid of. Oh well…" With a small sigh, the white-haired theif pulled out his gun with a small smirk. "Now, die for me…" Pulling the trigger, Imato shot Countess point-blank before kicking the blood-crazed merc away.

Being thrown at a another person was a new experience, a not entirely fun experience but a new experience nonetheless. Isao got up from the brief sense of turmoil that came from being used as a ragdoll, getting up from the flash and grab. All things sure he felt the singed impacts by being grappled by a fire-type cryptid and this was already adding to his poor physical condition.

Still even as Isao recovered he struck by the rather limited amount of present options: The ship was descending, Shiro seemed to be dire straits fighting on straws, Ann was kicking at the Mothman and Tragedy was- being Tragedy. And he could feel the impact of fire upon the Count's weakness meaning that it's limp grasp on his leg probably wasn't for show. Isao glanced at the grapple hook as he noted it being ranged. Ann was immune to fire, probably and Tragedy judging by the stripping of clothes seemed to be doing fine enough to be concerned about the temperature so he just turned and kept the grappling hook trained on the other pair fight happening.

Hoping to intercept and pull Shiro out if this 'Hardshell' had any special tricks, sure he had confidence in his fellow thief's ability but these Metamerc's are anything but straight forward.

At the control room, the radar would show two objects coming from the earth's surface approaching the ship at incredible speed. These two "projectiles" would impact the surface of the ship with great force, cracking a good chunk of it wide open, and destabilizing the ship even further. Fortunately for the people inside, the ships managed to close off the compromised sections of the ships, allowing the people inside to survive just a bit longer.

Even from the outside of the ship, Baron was able to see the oncoming projectiles coming from the surface of the earth. "You've got incoming! Brace for impact!" He tried his best warn his teammates before the projectiles impacted the ship. Baron was almost blown away by the sheer power of the impact alone, sending him flying through multiple structures on the surface of the ship, knocking him out in the process.

Hardshell was silent at first, but the more he thought about Shiro's answer the angrier he got about it. Leaving her past behind? Really?! Did she really think everything she had done thus far will just disappear because she decided to "change"? What utter nonsense. And now she had a new friend, one who was willing to fight zealously tooth and nail for her despite knowing about her past. He was at a loss for words for how stupid all of this was to him. Hardshell would immediately respond to Thrud's strike by blocking the double axe handle strike with a rhino-head weapon. Unfortunately, block one attack left him open for her follow-up attack. Whether it be sheer luck or skill, Shiro's lance would hit its mark, piercing in between the gaps of his armor, and plunging the sharp piece of metal onto the flesh beneath the metal shell.

In response, Hardshell immediately punched Shiro away reflexively and broke the lance. Hardshell clenched his wounds in pain, seeing the black liquid seeping out of him. His breathing became labored as he fell to his knees. All that hard work and he's gonna die, just like this? Thankfully, for one reason or another, this other Phantom thief, the one they call, "Cryptic", had for some reason pulled Shiro with his grappling hook, leaving Hardshell a good opportunity to escape...if he wasn't so injured.

Phoenix, on the other hand, was sick of this entire group already. Why were these vermin so difficult to kill? Why did they keep calling him Mothman? He didn't have to time process these thoughts since this chick in red is suddenly trying to beat him up in a straight-up brawl. Blocking her shots with his shield, he also blocked the follow-up punch, staying on the defensive until an opportunity for a counterstrike would present itself. He was surprised that such a slender girl was able to put so much force into her strikes. She was even able to properly predict his next move with his attempt to grab the girl's leg only for him to be kicked back by her other leg. To think, someone like him was being pushed back, by a girl no less. This truly is a dark day for Phoneix. However, before he could ponder over such thoughts, a message would come through his comms, giving all the mercs their next set of orders.

"Times up, we're done here." The voice spoke into the ears of each and every one of the merc. Seconds later, two familiar crow-like humanoids would bust through the walls violently in a tornado of black and white feathers arriving right in front of Hardshell and Countess respectively. There was always an air of mystery between these two. But their appearance was usually a sign that it was time to leave. The one in front of Hardshell carries the injured merc over his shoulder, carrying him like a sad sack of rice. The other waited for Countess to grapple onto him, before turning attention to the phoenix.

"Retreat? At the moment of our triumph? I think not!" Phoenix was very reluctant to leave, feeling a strong urge to continue to fight. Only to be interrupted by the voice in his comms. "Phoenix, withdraw at once, this is your final warning." Being Insubordinate was not something that was tolerated well in this industry, so Phoenix reluctantly agreed to retreat. "All of you will pay for this.." Once everyone was in a more cooperative mood, the crows would begin to exude a rainbow-like aura, before zooming into the large holes they had entered from, exiting the ship at unbelievable speeds. And just like that, the threat for this group was gone, but they had other pressing matters to attend to. The ship began to rumble as earth's gravity began to take hold of the ship once more hastening its descent back onto the ground.

"Is this where your cycle ends? Will you truly be able to rest before you've corrected your misdeeds?" Aion's voice echoed in Sougo's head, as he slowly regained consciousness. This was supposed to be a simple operation, how did it go this fubar? He really regretted giving Imato all his healing beads, but then again, how could he have predicted things would go this bad? Pulling himself to his feet, he slowly walked towards the edge of the ship, stumbling and limping his way forward. The ship was already in bad enough condition, so much so that it would likely break apart completely upon reentry.

The team needed more time to settle things in the control room, and he was going to give them just that.
"We're running out of time. I'll try to stabilize things from outside to delay our descent." Jumping off the edge, and kicking off the surface, Baron pushed himself downwards, letting gravity drag him down as well. "AION!" he yelled with bravado, knowing full well he needed to psych himself up for what he was about to do. His persona manifested itself in front of Sougo, its chest opening up, revealing a cavity inside of the persona that resembled the pilot seat of a mecha.

Entering his own persona, he took direct control of the mech-like dragon and flew downwards, towards the bottom of the ship, positioning himself towards the bottom of the ship. Resting his persona against the surface of the ship, he began pushing against it, as the thrusters on his wings blazed much brighter to offset the strength of the gravity pulling them down. He didn't know how long he could keep this up, but at this point, it was too late for him to bail on this operation. And besides, he had faith in the tricksters.

Back at the control room, Kamoshida was a nervous wreck at this point, pacing and forth in front of his numerous trophies thinking about how to save himself from this situation. There was a holographic display of the ship which would show that there was a giant dragon-like monster on the outside of the ship. And for one reason or the other, the dragon seemed to be trying to slow down the ship's descent.

The control itself would likely be able to survive the impact, but there were still thieves in the other areas of the ships, right? And just like that, an idea pops into his head. Walking towards the control panel, he would begin to shut off the engines. The sooner they crash-landed, the sooner he could kill off these parasites and start again! At least that was his logic. A lot of shadows on the ship were either too scared to do anything or getting ready to bail the ship. Things were falling apart, but at least he would survive!

Shiro couldn't help but laugh quietly as the mercs were commanded to withdraw. So they had hearts, and they had something resembling blood inside them too. Good to know. Thrud's armor was singed from Phoenix's fire and dented from Hardshell's retaliation. But she took it without buckling. Something was changing inside her, something that the Shiro and the world weren't quite ready for yet. But she'd get there. Slowly but surely.

Shiro coughed as she got to her feet, her dusty, uneven breath filling the inside of her helmet. She was bleeding, just as much as her peers were. But they were fighting all out from the start, while she...

She turned her arm, disentangling herself from Cryptic's grappling hook and allowing him to hold it properly again. "You've done well." With one of her hands now free, she reached into her pocket, pulling out a pair of Life Stones. Tossing one to him from between her fingers, she held the other in her palm, crushing it. As it dissolved into sparkles of light, she felt the pain recede across her body, though it did little for her injuries. Still, it would probably hold them long enough to finish this fight.

Swinging her other arm, she flung the handle of her broken lance away, the pitch of the descending ship causing it to ricochet off the ground and clang against the head of one of the fleeing Shadows, sending it flying out of one of the holes in the hull with a shriek. The engines seemed a little quieter than they were before...it seemed that either the power source of the ship had failed, or Shadow Kamoshida (or someone else) was trying to force it to a slow descent. Either way, they probably had to reach the control room to put an end to this mission.

As another one of the (still-armored) Shadows bolted by, Shiro grabbed it by the neck. "The control room. Point me at your master and you shall receive mercy."

"Buffoon!"
The metallic figure spat, but made no move to attack despite its precarious situation. "Our great lord Kamoshida will not fall to the scrabbling hordes of your ilk!"

Shiro's grip tightened.

"G-ghk...b-but of course a fool like you might need a little help in remembering that we were, you know, running AWAY from..." The figure gestured ineffectually to a set of mechanical doors on the other side of the hall, apologetic even as it continued to insult her.

"Understood." Shiro's jaw set. "I suppose the least I can do is help you get where you were going..." She turned, hurling the Shadow out of the ship before hoisting her gun. With her lance broken, it'd have to do. She still had two long belts of ammo, and their target was still close at hand, ready to be ventilated.

Thrud leaned down slightly, offering her shoulder to aid the Count. "Let us set out, Cryptic. The 'sovereign' awaits."

“Running away?” Ann asked taunting the mercs as the crows carried them off. She was quite proud of herself that she could last in a fight against one. Definitely was a long way from what she used to be and she could be proud of that. However Ann couldn’t celebrate yet because they still needed to steal Kamoshida’s heart because of what Sougo said. Luckily it seemed that Baron was helping out in a big way like he always did.

The one person on her mind was Tragedy and how he was totally flirting with that girl merc. Not that Ann was jealous or liked tragedy but liking a merc would be bad. Ryoma was a merc but she didn’t know that yet. Ann then glanced over at the greenhorn stranger and nodded at him as a thank you.

“Tragedy, let’s regroup with heartbreak and Cryptic,” Ann said to him knowing Morgana and Masami were fine. The cat probably liked the Attention from a pretty girl. Of course he always wanted to peep at her from time to time.

Principle Kobayakawa grunted as she punched the side of his helmet breaking it open. She then proceeded to engulf him in a curse aura that would eat away at his health. He chuckled at her little quip and knew that his time was running short.

“King Kamoshida will escape,” Kobayakawa gasped as black blood began to sprew everywhere from him. The curse was going to kill him pretty quick but he still had time to do his monologue. “I have done my part well…Kamoshida will escape with the crimes he had committed…that I have covered up!” Kobayakawa smiled knowing he was a good pawn in Kamoshida’s game. Then the shadow dissolved screaming in pain.
Morgana however was brainwashed and thought shadow Masami was his friend. She had ambushed him and shot some brainwashing stuff into him making him think the wrong thing. “Swan we need to destroy the ship controls,” Morgana said to shadow Masami, “that’s what Baron said right?” Morgana then turned to the real Masami and thought that was the real enemy but then he got confused.

“Uhhhh,” Morgana was confused on who was the actual Masami. The cat was beginning to fight the brainwashing and held his head, “gah!”

Morgana was acting a bit disoriented as Masami's Shadow self, Wolway-Hime, faced him with a mischievous smile. She then walked to Morgana and said, "Uh... right, Baron. Yep, that's what he said. But don't worry my sweet feline, I've gotten it all taken care of and I couldn't have done it without you." She leaned down and hugged the tiny Phantom Thief warmly before then pulling a knife from her sleeve about to backstab the creature. That was until the ship shook violently and everything began to feel off-kilter as the ship began falling.

Masami didn't get much time to be proud of her victory from beating the principal since she noticed Kamoshida was the one who turned off the engines considering he was the only one manning the control panel. She then shot a look to Morgana and saw that her shadow was about to stab her ally. Afraid that she couldn't run over to them in time yet using the jerking of the ship as an opportunity, Masami threw out both of her chakram in different directions. One of them was to successfully knock Wolway-Hime's dagger to the floor and also cutting her hand. The other chakram went to Kamoshida, specifically towards his arms which were hastily shutting off the engines completely. If he didn't move his hands away, they were sure to be sliced at.

Wolway-Hime clasped her own hand from her own injury as she growled at the new opponent. Masami ignored the evil look given as she yelled to Morgana, "Mona damn it all, snap out of it! We don't have any time for this!" She ran to Morgana as she had Scheherazade go after Kamoshida. The first thing she did was side kick him against the control system just hard enough to make him bounce off so she could then slash him with her claymore. All the while, when Masami reached Morgana he was immediately met with hard and loud smack across the face that was probably harder than she had initially intended since it knocked him back a bit. "Get your act together! If we destroy the panel now, we won't be able to stop the place from crashing. We need to turn the engines back on."

Not liking to be ignored, Wolway got back up and took her harp back out to strum a few strings making the sound waves from it towards the two knocking some debris at them in the process. "King Kamoshida will reign over all!" They would feel a reverberation throughout their body so much that it felt like it shook their very brain as she attempted to brainwash them again, but it wasn't nearly as effective as the previous time she had done so with Morgana. Receiving a few more scratched from the attack, Masami looked back at Scheherazade knowing that she wouldn't be able to hold Kamoshida off for very much longer since it took a lot of concentration when it came to them fighting in separate battles like this. Morgana would be left with two options, either help her finish her shadow self quickly, or try to turn the engines back while she took care of the two until back up arrived. Either way, she was ready for whatever he wanted to do as she summoned her chakrams back to her palms.

Pain went through her as Countess felt the bullet pierce through her as she staggered back, fighting off the urge to collapse as she clutched the wound where she had began to greatly bleed from. Even so, she couldn't help but replay the moment they just shared as he grabbed her hand and she felt that he was seeing right through her helmet and into her eyes. The butterflies in her stomach contrasted with the agony she felt from the bullet wound. She had to admit, if he didn't take the chance to shoot her or attack back otherwise, she would not have been as impressed, but the unrestrained violence he exhibited only made her attraction for him grow.

It was then that she the order over the comms and then just as expected, two crow-like figures showed up that she had grown accustomed to seeing. As one of them began to approach her she turned to Tragedy looking labored as she said with a slight chuckle, "Funny, I was going to say the same about you. What destruction and chaos we could cause if you were a merc." She then took out a card, the very same kind that was given to Koyuki in the real world that only had a skull with a crack in the shape of a heart on the top left side. She sucked some of the blood that was on one of blood-covered hands before she then kissed the card, leaving a deep red lip mark on it. She then threw the card in front of Tragedy. "Give it a thought, we could use someone like you. And besides... if you do maybe we can be in a dance... less bloody." With that, she let the humanoid figure pick her up as she called out with her last words before disappearing in the dark void being, "Otherwise, if I were you I'd prepare for if you to die for me instead my dearest Tragedy. Until then, I look forward to the next time we meet."

Being shocked by the sudden appearance of the crow-like people, Imato had his gun trained on the one that landed in front of Countess just in case it tried anything reckless. Though as the female merc started to speak, the thief would lower his gun for the time being since he didn't see the humanoid as a threat at the current moment. As he listened to the woman speak, he instinctively cracked a small smile without really even knowing. Though once she threw the card his mind admittedly went to the gutter for a moment as his face became ever so lightly red before he calmed himself down, watching the crow-like person carry off the merc. "I look forward to then as well, my love." Imato mumbled under his breath before finally returning to reality.

Looking over as Ann called out to him, the boy would nod as he called out.
"Yeah! You go ahead without me and I'll catch up in a moment. I need to restore some energy before we get wrapped up in another unforeseen bout." As Ann would leave to move towards Heartbreak and Cryptic, that's when he would take the chance to pick up the card thrown by Countess. With curiosity in his mind, Imato looked at the lip mark left on the card before his eyes then transfered to the skull with a small sigh. He would then glance at the number on the card, wondering if he should call it before shaking his head. He was a thief, not one of those forsaken mercs. Putting the card in his pocket, he planned on just moving ahead with no more regard for it until that damned voice echoed once more in his head.

"The chance to do what you please with little to no regard of what the 'right thing' to do is... No regard for what the public thinks, target who deserves it and being as brutal as you please. Think it over Makage... You can do... So. Much. More." Loki said within the thief's thoughts, before that damned laugh echoed in his mind. Imato held his head in annoyance, mumbling for the persona to just shut up before he started to move forward towards his allies once again. The white-haired boy felt his own psyche wavering, he hoped that beating a bastard like Kamoshida would help him calm down a bit.

With the meta mercs in full retreat, the thieves were finally able to proceed to the throne room at their own pace. Despite the heavy casualties taken from the Pervert Lord's army, there were still some stranglers here and that are still loyal to their ruler. But nothing that would pose a challenge to the thieves, especially at their level. That said, they were press for time, delaying their advance any long would likely leave the who palace plummeting towards the earth ensuring the demise of all occupants outside of the ones in the control room. While Sougo little stunt earlier did by them some time, that window of opportunity was shrinking with every passing second.

With Kamoshida tired of cat and girls antics, he returned to his throne and pressed a few button on his arm rest, activating a series of complex mechanisms and opening panels around the platform. Multiple large armatures would extend from sides, attaching large pieces of machinery on the to throne, quickly forming a body and assembling a giant mech around Kamoshida which had a strong resemblance to the pervert gym teacher. With the golden medal being placed into his core, the mech came to life, brimming with bright pink lustful energy.

"Alright kids, enough games. While my ascension can wait, I can't let you get away this time." Raising both arms towards the thieves, the mecha would begin firing a barrage of volley balls towards them. Despite only being balls, they very painful and would ricochet off the walls and back onto them. He didnt really care too much about to shadows being caught in the crossfire, after all, their existence was for his benefit. "Who put you up to this anyways? Was it that bastard Agata? The slimy worm is always up to something.' He taunted the group, annoyed at their persistence.

Morgana was met with a hard slap from Masami and was knocked back a bit from the impact. It worked on snapping him out of the brainwashed alignment but it made him upset at Swan. He touched his cheek with his paw feeling a mark. “OW!” The cat yelped and glared at the bird masked thief thinking about what he should do first. The cat decided that he should try to turn off the engines so the group doesn’t die with everything.

He ran to the controls leaving Swan to fend off her shadow self and Kamoshida but he had faith that she could survive, hopefully. Morgana glanced at all the buttons and carefully began to read the instructions that were on the side of the controls. It would take him a bit but he learned that he needed to start up the backup generator since the first one was fried thanks to Futaba.

“Wow this guy…” Morgana muttered as he read the location of the backup generator being the girls locker room. Luckily Ann came in holding her sub machine gun and shot at Kamoshida’s mech in order to take his attention off of Swan. She was met with a barrage of volleyballs to the face and that nearly knocked her out of the fight.

“Where’s Tragedy?” Morgana asked her while getting pelted by volleyballs and using garu to send some back to Kamoshida. “He’s with some merc girl,” Ann replied while eating a Devil fruit healing herself. Morgana smirked not thinking that Tragedy could pull anyone let alone a merc.

“Heyyyy lover boy,” Morgana spoke into comms, “why don’t you stop swooning over the enemy and help defeat the pervert king?” The cat had his fun teasing Imato and now he had to get that backup generator working. “Panther, I need you to uh…go into the girls locker room….to find a generator and turn it on.” Ann just looked at him and her feelings towards Kamoshida were becoming even more hostile and disgusted. She nodded and left to go to the girls locker room in his futuristic castle. On the way she passed by Shadow Kasumi who was cleaning the trophy case even though it was spotless. Ann just walked by not understanding why the girl was doing it or who was she but she did feel bad. Anyway Ann made it to the girls locker room and crept inside to find the backup.

With Ann busy Morgana jumped into the fight blasting Kamoshida with a garu attempting to just stall him. “Why don’t you just hand over the treasure,” the cat said, “my friends are going to put you through a world of pain….” Morgana looked up at the mech wondering when Imato and Shiro were going to get there and help. The cat knew that Kamoshida could crush him and Masami so he decided to shoot his slingshot at Shadow Masami and maybe her dying would affect Kamoshida.

Ann got to the generator and turned it on without any trouble since she was a girl. “Mona,” she spoke into her comms, “I turned the generator on-“ Shadow Kasumi drop kicked Ann into a wall. Ann groaned and got up getting into a fighting stance, “who are you?!” Shadow Kasumi smirked at the blonde, “I am a star gymnastic person and I cannot let you kill king Kamoshida or else he will revoke my scholarship.” Ann looked at her seeing a little bit of herself in Kasumi because of what Kajiki would threaten her with. “Don’t let the man blackmail you like that,” Ann said and lowered her fists not going to fight her. Shadow Kasumi stood there nodding but she couldn’t seem to break free from Kamoshida’s influence. But she let Ann go and just stood there thinking about her next action.

Morgana turned on the ships controls as soon as he got word that Ann turned on the generator.

With or without Cryptic in tow, it was time for them to finish this. For some self-absorbed, utterly petty athlete abusing his power over the students he had been placed in authority over, Kamoshida had given them far too much trouble. Rather than him contracting the mercs (what would he even have to offer them?) it was likely that they had chosen to butt into his business. Probably just as an opportunity to confront them, the Thieves. Shiro didn't like that one bit, but they were out of the way for now.

After an altercation with the shadows of Principal Whatshisface and Kasumi (new girl she'd probably missed due to her absences?), Morgana and Ann seemed to have had the ship properly under control. Whatever "structure" or "ecosystem" the Metaverse had wouldn't have to worry about the sudden introduction of a hovering spaceship from a B movie into their immediate vicinity.

Good. Now for the king. Perhaps it was the nature of the kind of vanity and greed that would create a Shadow and Palace in the first place, that they would style themselves kings and generals and saviors, and other such bunk. What did that say about her own image and title? That she cultivated before her subordinates...

The time had come to change that.

But as for the threat that was before her...

The metallic, mechanical armor, much like Thrud's own, was likely to resist electricity. She'd have to gamble on something else.

"Agata?" She sneered. Sougo certainly seemed to be quite persistent in his efforts to make enemies of people like Kamoshida. For all his self-aggrandizement and the praise the authorities of the school had showered on him, in the end there was a part of Kamoshida that was craven and small, still looking over his shoulder for the other shoe to drop. And it was up to them to bring the hammer down. "You look too far ahead, Your Highness. Far above those you tread upon and humiliate, as if thineself could not be brought low. Consider us your reckoning, as the thorns you thought you could cut down rise to rend you in twain!"

Thrud's fists lashed out, punching the balls dead on and aiming to send them back at the mech's chest and face. Even if they didn't do much damage in return, at least they would prevent him from seeing clearly and directing his attacks. Shiro crushed a Hell Magatama in her hand, letting the blazing energy flow into her gun. The steel that made up her weapon sizzled and swelled, glowing red-hot. But it didn't hurt her, not this time. She lined up the sights. A more precise weapon could aim for joints and other weak points, but all she could hope for was to sear through the most prominent parts and weaken them for the others to deal a finishing blow.

Instead of cooking off, each thick, pointed bullet remained in its casing. She pulled the trigger. Jets of flame erupted from her gun's muzzle, a roar accompanying each shot as they tore at Shadow Kamoshida's mech.

As much as he wanted to run in head first with little to no care for what could possibly happen to him or how it could mess up the team's current efforts, Imato decided to instead remain calm and possibly stick to a strategy made up by the others. Until... Morgana his big, foolish mouth to taunt his ally despite how bad of an idea that truly was for him. "That little piece of... Okay, screw the good teammate act then." The the white-haired thief said to himself as he cracked his neck before his walking pace suddenly changed to an all-out dash towards the battle between the Pervert Lord and the Phantom Thieves.

Arriving much quicker than first thought due to him now running, Imato would stop as he entered the battle to take a moment to look around for a certain target. As soon as his eyes went to the controls of the ship, his gaze turned into a glare as a evil smirk appeared on his lips. Dashing faster than ever before, he appeared beside Morgana with that evil smirk still on his face.
"So you think you can get away with the useless name-calling? How about instead of being a prick... YOU FIGHT THE DAMNED PERVERT!" Yelling at the top of his lungs, the thief would punt the bakaneko at top speeds towards Kamoshida's mech, specifically aimed at the core of the mechanical pervert.

"Now where was I... Ah, that's right." Imato looked towards the mech and how the machine was structured before nodding a few times as the smirk on his face turned to a full smile as he started to chuckle. Blue flames enveloped his mask as it burned away from his face and Loki was summoned once more, having that crazed grin as always. "Lust? Then show him your wrath." Imato's persona turned to him, enchanting his melee weapon once again with the Nuclear element and empowering the boy with Tarukaja before standing aside.

With a single moment to take a breath, Imato launched his grappling hook and it would wrap around one of the raised arms of Kamoshida.
"Time to die you worthless waste of space!" The thief would launch himself towards the Lord, using his grappling hook to constantly keep moving around the mech as he consistently struck the shadow with his nuclear-empowered chain weapon. Was it really his plan to ruthlessly attack without much care if he got struck by his teammates' attacks as well? Of course it would be, the fight would be too boring otherwise.

Thankful that more of her fellow Phantom Thief members arrived, she commanded Scheherazade to make her way back to her as the rest either were either strategizing how to get the engines back on or fighting off Shadow Kamoshida. In the meantime, Swan wanted to do her part by taking out her shadow self, Wolway-Hime, so that she wasn't a nuisance while everyone attacked the ruler of the palace.

Scheherazade melded with the floor as she walked, becoming a silhouette on the ground. In this form, she made her way to the self-proclaimed princess of the palace, and had her two hands bathed in eerie light protrude from the void to grasp the shadow's ankles, holding her into place. At realizing these cursed hands keep her feet planted, she was starting to struggle to break away as Swan threw her weapons. The slashes done were decent, but not enough as they returned back to her. She then took out her gun and started to shoot at her as she began to charge. She soon stopped though, seeing that her bullets were doing a lot of damage to the shadow as she screamed in pain with each shot taken. Noticing this as her weakness, she held back to keep her distance as she riddled her with bullets. With the final attack on her, she quickly switched to use the grenade launcher part of her gun. "You're despicable, bowing down to anyone you think had the upper hand, embracing instead of fighting back... You're pitiful existence ends here! Scheherazade!" while still repulsed that this was how Kamoshida saw her, Swan called out in personal disgust right before her persona moved away and she let a grenade fly at Wolway-Hime.

The shadow now was obviously barely able to stay alive, breathing heavily as she propped herself up by her harp weapon and had many wounds. She then looked to Kamoshida in his mech and said more so to herself than to anyone else, "Forgive me my handsome king, but once a person is a selfish swindler, they'll always be one." With that, she strummed one last set of notes that were the same melody as what was used on Mona earlier and this time Swan was put in a trance as she tried to fight off the brainwashing ability. As Swan was having this inward battle in her mind, the shadow reverted back to the Bunny Shadow Masami form and escaped the battlefield, occasionally limping as she left. It was only when she was completely out of sight that Swan was able to regain full control without any urges. When she realized that the shadow turned tail to run away, she was only revolted once again. Even in the metaverse under someone else's perspective of her, she still was seen as a person that valued her own life above anyone else's.

Swan growled in dismay as she decided to let this anger fuel her into the next fight against the main target, Kamoshida. She put away her gun to gracefully unlatch her chakrams from her sides as dark energy began to form around her due to her enraged feelings. Scheherazade approached behind her and seemed to channel this aura as the persona touched each chakram to strengthen this next attack before then becoming a dark void on the ground again to swiftly travel to each of the phantom thieves in the room and bolster their attacks as well. Swan herself swung her chakrams out to outwardly arch streaking in red around before they met together at the core of the mech.

The pervert king's futile attempt at an offensive move was met with swift and powerful response from the Team's persona. While he had definitely ground stronger, he was simply no match for the onslaught of attacks from people with much higher threat levels than him. The giant mech was almost knocked off-balanced by the cat's wind attack, forcing the mech to quickly stabilize itself by grabbing hold of one of the trophies. "You stupid cat! I should've squashed when I had the chance." the shadow complained as he attempted to lift the large trophy like a massive golden club.

However, his efforts to obtain said new weapon were quickly thwarted by Shiro's spray of heat-enhanced rounds into the mech. While the balls from earlier had little effect on him, Shiro bullets chewed through his armor, forcing him to abandon the large trophy weapon and prompting him to move behind it. But before he could fully retreat behind the oversize trophy, Swan's chakram would strike at his chest, exposing the treasure that was hidden behind the massive chest plate of his mech. Thankfully, seeing the cat being punted towards him awakened his inner volley player instincts, raising one of his mech's arms, he would smack the cat back towards the group, spiking him like a volleyball.

Meanwhile, in the background, somehow, by a sheer stroke of luck, a heavily disfigured shadow Sougo had managed to crawl all the way from the storage room, into the control room. It wasn't a pretty sight, to see him drag himself painfully forward, towards the pervert gym teacher, trying to get his revenge despite having no means to, leaving him looking like an environmental hazard zombie.

"NO! DAMN BRATS! This isnt right!? How are any of you this strong!" Kamoshida screamed, completely worried at the state of his battle armor. He had only begun his offensive, and yet his tools were already failing him. Sweat started to drop from his head, as the vision of his defeat came closer to fruition. Imato's violent whirlwind of nuclear-infused chain slashes were essentially putting in the last few nails in the coffin of this battle, tearing whatever was left of his mech to shreds and causing the husk to crumble to the ground. He was definitely on his last legs at this point, with the remaining power of the mech, he forcefully stumbled toward the control panel before the massive metal mech finally shuts down, spitting Kamoshida out of it, and forcing him to crawl on his fours.

The pervert shadow was cornered, briefly kicking the desperate crawling shadow away from him. "No no no! I refuse to go out like this!" Having one last big idea, Kamoshida decided to exact his final action. Kamoshida raised his golden crown, focusing what's left of his power into it to temporarily blind the entire group while shifting himself towards the console. Once there, he reactivated the ship's thrusters, only this time, pointing them in the opposite direction, forcing the craft to accelerate its descent towards the earth. And before anyone else could fiddle with the controls, he repeatedly slammed the medal into the console, destroying it for good, leaving the team unable to stop the descent of the ship. "HAHAAHHAHA! If I am going down! YOU'RE ALL GOING DOWN WITH ME!" And with that, the whole spacecraft began rumbling violently. The phantom thieves had easily defeated the palace's ruler, but at what cost? The pervert teacher was a lot craftier and vainer than expected, with his willingness to pull them all down with him.

Hearing the com's, Baron seemed thankful about the apparent victory. He was practically on his last legs at this point, and he didn't know how much longer he could maintain and slow down the large ship's descent to the earth. But right as he was about to congratulate the team, the ship's thruster reignited with great power, immediately pushing the ship downwards with impressive force, immediately prompting Baron to attempt to push the ship back. But alas, he was still too fatigued and was on the brink of losing consciousness. Knowing he had no other choice, Baron was forced to rely on drastic measures. "1 year.....I'll give you one year of my life..." He whispered to his persona as multiple power cables plug directly onto his back. "...Now give me the power.....to complete this mission!" He yelled to himself, his eyes glowing a distinct magenta as the cables began to directly drain him of his life force. With his newfound power, Aion was able to generate enough counterthrust slow down the descent of the ship enough that such an impact would not be fatal, at least not to the passengers inside.

A few moment's later, the ships finally touched the earth. While the landing was rough and basically caused anyone inside the ship to tumble all over the place, it was far from fatal and was more likely to cause nausea than actual death. Many of the shadows and phantom thieves alike were spread across the floor of the control room, with Kamoshida being one of the first one to regain consciousness. He was absolutely ecstatic! To think that his little gambit actually worked. At least thats what he thought.

The palace ruler was just about to tip toe away from the place while everyone else was still waking up and recovering from the crash. Little did he know, his fate was already sealed the moment the Phantom thieves had gotten involved. Just before he could get away, the ship once again would begin to rumble. Shortly after this, the floor below the shadow pervert was swifly torn apart by the magenta claws of a large dragon. "AAAAH....Get away from me monster!!!" The teach frantically yelled as he slowly backed away from the giant mechanical dragon. It's size was large, with it's arm alone barely fitting through the small hole it hard created. The thieves in the room would catch a small glimpse of Baron's monstrous persona. Though battle-scarred and nearly broken in many areas, the intimidating aura around it was undeniable.

The dragon mech would retract its hand back to where it came from as it was unsummoned, allowing a very injured Baron to jump into the room, finally coming face to face with his main target. His armored was scratch and gashed in multiple areas, his face mask had a massive crack along it's clock face, he looked like he could barely stand. And yet here he was slowly dragging his buster sword across the ground, as he slowly walked towards the ruler of the palace who was currently on the ground, scared out of his mind and retreating backwards in fear of what this man might do to him. "..How utterly risible..." Baron spoke with great disgusts. "...To think....all of this...was created from the delusions of power...of a gym teacher.." He spoke out loud, pondering what he should do next while enjoying the sight of Kamoshida cowering in fear as he walked ever closer to the target of his vengeance.

He was beaten. There was nothing left to do but take his treasure right? Shooting his grappling hook to the pouch he had given to Imato, he take out a chain of beads and crushed each and everyone of them, releasing revitalizing energy from the beads, allowing the healing power to flow into each and every one of his allies. "...I believe some congratulations are in order you have all done we-" right before he could finish his little congratulatory speech, a concerned-looking Shadow Kasumi would stop Baron dead in his tracks, holding onto his arm, practically begging him for spare her master. "Please! You can't kill Lord Kamoshida, I need him! He's the only way I can move forward!" The shadow pleaded to the meta verse user, but the only response she got was silence.

Baron was frozen in place for short moment. Thankfully, it didnt take long for him to return to his senses. Right after the brief silence, Baron's golden aura permeated through out the entire room. His feelings, his emotions, it could be felt by just about everyone inside the room. Fortunately for the team, this aura did not last long and eventually dissipated. And right after that, Baron would begin moving again, immediately delivering a powerful backhand towards the sad shadow, ending her pitiful existence in an instant. "No....My precious Kasumi...what have you done to her!?" The shadow Sougo, spoke with great grief and anger as he force himself to stand up and take revenge for his fallen friend, only to have his head immediately blasted off by a bullet from Baron's gun, followed by multiple shots towards what remained of his body.

With his focus solely on Kamoshida, Baron walked towards the fallen lord, who could do nothing but surrender while lifting up the crown and freely offering it to him. "Please.... I surrender...just take the treasure!" Baron spares no time, in taking out bead, and healing the shadow while taking the crown into his hand, examining it, and immediately using the headwear to smack the pervert across his face. Black blood was spilled from the shadow, staining the crown, but this was only the beginning. Tossing aside the treasure like it was trash, Baron proceeded to give the shadow a brutal fist-to-face beatdown. By the end of it, Baron had stained his hands with the black blood of the shadow, and the pervert shadow was barely just alive.
"Agata sends his regards." Baron quipped as he walked away from the mess he had created. For better or for worse, the shadow will indeed survive this encounter, despite looking like it just came out of a car crash. "Do not ever make me regret sparing you..atone for your sins..or you will carry that agony with you into oblivion.." A simple threat, confess to your crimes or die. "Let's go..we're done here.. " and with that, the palace began to rumble, as it the ruling shadow had completely been subjugated, his hearty having been "changed". Though they should probably still have some time to lick each other's wounds before the place crumbles.

As the rocket ship plummeted back to the palace Oracle, and Prophet would watch from the Necronomicon's screens everything that had gone down. Despite his wounds being egregiously dampening on his ability to do much else he wanted to see this to the end what the Phantom Thieves were doing. Oracle worked on healing him with metaverse medicines clearly soured by the fact his stubbornness had once again extremely harmed him. Swan, Heartbreak, Mona, Tragedy, Panther, Cryptid and now Baron who Oracle had coined from some of the chatter amongst the Phantom Thieves comm's she had hacked into though not great as the PT's apparently had a well laced line they were able to get the gist of what was going on down there.

The dragon person had been a unexpected entrance equally in mass to Slayers Thanatos its strength easily scared out any furfur in Kamashido to surrender in full to Baron. Yet what transpired next painted a very... unique picture. Baron who was clearly leagues above the rest of the Phantom Thieves was halted in his momentum towards the gym teacher when non other than the girl Kasumi latched onto him to try and save her projectors life... what was most odd about this was the clear pause that this had created. This Baron had gone full force stopping a falling piece of a rocket ship without a second thought throwing everything he had into it. Yet a random shadow helplessly to weak to actually fight had caused him to freeze up. This was followed by Baron easily wiping it out of existence... however its what played out next that had Prophets full attention. The leaper shadow of Sougo Agata screamed in remorse before charging Baron yet as clearly weak a shadow as it was unlike Kasumi's shadow Baron went full on brutal de force blasting the shadow to bits more excessively than needed.

Both shadows had been responded to in great emotional responses yet its what was heard by Necronomicon that would create a whole new piece of intrigue. "Agata sends his regards," and that single line did not add up to the performance just delivered. However the show was far from over as they would watch Baron go even further into a monstrous display of brutality beating the shadows to a blood barely living pulp. This was all clearly personal... and while it was to each there own respect on how to handle such matters clearly this Baron saw only read with no shred of humanity in this act. Quite the dual irony if one was to be honest... yet so to was the truth people like Kamashido did it unto others... yet did that mean people should degrade themselves to a monsters level to punish them in kind tainting themselves in the process?

"We should go before Necronomicon's veil disperses from the palace crumbling," Prophet spoke knowing that a Palaces and the actual Metaverse transition would undo Oracles personas special ability temporarily, and in truth they didn't need to be seen again... for now. as the UFO Persona headed on course to a secure location for them to log out... there was much to work on now, and this show had revealed much to Prophet how things went on in this land of the Metaverse.

Seeing that their attacks were definitely wearing the shadow Kamoshida mech down, Swan was about to attack again once her weapons returned to her. That was until Mona was unexpectedly spiked back to the group. To help soften the blow, she dived to the side in order to catch Mona with a grunt as she was knocked down by the force of which Mona was flung with. "You okay?" she asked Mona right before she and everyone else was blinded by the effect of the crown that Kamoshida used against them. When her sight returned and realized what the teacher had done, she was forced to let go of Mona as the whole structure shook violently. To keep from thrashing around even further, she had Scheherazade meld to a wall and reach an arm out to hold Swan into place while she was found it incredulous that he was this desperate. This effort became fruitless though since this didn't keep debris from moving around, so at one point Swan was knocked out momentarily from an object, making her persona disappear as she fell to the ground unconscious.

With her head pounding, likely from a concussion, she regained consciousness as she began to recall where they were. She was the first to notice Shadow Kamoshida trying to slip away and escape so she attempted to get up only to fail and fell to her side. The fatigue and concussion was getting to Swan, forcing her to keep from exerting more energy and stand to fight more. "Perverted bastard..." she cursed, afraid that sleazebag would get away, when suddenly what looked like a colossal persona tore through in front of the target. At first this worried Swan even more since she thought that one of the Metamercs might have decided to stay behind, that was until the arm disappeared and was replaced by a worse for ware Baron.

After Baron healed all the Phantom Thief members with beads, Swan was now well enough to stand as she listened to Baron begin to address the team in their success and waited for everyone else to be in agreement on leaving. This was was soon interrupted when she spotted a Shadow Kasumi cling to Baron in a desperate request to spare Kamoshida. This was the first time Swan had seen her in the palace and seeing this warped version of her in such a disgraceful outfit similar to the Shadow Masami only made her more infuriated with the teacher. She didn't know much about Kasumi, but with what little time she had spent around the girl, she was a sweet, talented person that definitely didn't deserve to be treated like she had been by Kamoshida. Even with seeing this detestable version of her though, she was surprised at Baron's next few actions with swiftly disposing her and then getting rid of his shadow self. To Swan, this was uncharacteristic of him to seemingly let his emotions get the best of him. She didn't fault him for doing such, since she herself had felt disdain with seeing her own shadow self in this palace. What did disturb her though was the brutality he used against Shadow Kamoshida and how he healed him only to beat him down again. Thus far he had shown professionalism, especially as Baron, but this was obviously entirely personal. As much as he deserved every bit of it, she was afraid that he might go too far and kill the shadow, making it so that he couldn't be brought to justice.

Just when she was about to speak up, he stopped. She was sure that if he were to receive one more good hit he would be done for. As Baron walked away, she wanted to see if he was alright, but she knew that this was neither the place or time to ask considering she had to stick with the status quo. She then looked around to see if the Shadow Masami turned up anywhere among the rubble and debris, but there was no sign like she had anticipated. In the end, she looked at the groveling shadow that was in pain and said quietly, "The only shame here is that we couldn't take care of this sooner." Swan then turned away from the scene of the wreckage and began making her way to exit the Metaverse area.

For being the head honcho of the palace, the fight against Kamoshida felt nothing more than boring to Imato as he swung around the mech using his grappling hook and chained weapon. He wouldn't be chaotically laughing like he usually was, yawning instead as the nuclear aspect of his weaponry was tearing into the mech like a sawblade. Though the thief did admittedly let out a loud laugh as Morgana got spiked, sure the cat was his teammate but it still felt good to see the little shit get spiked into the ground. His violent whirlwind would only stop as the mech stopped functioning and the pervert king crawled out.

"There you are you damned bastard!" Imato would attempt grappling over to Kamoshida to take down the shadow, only to be blinded by the pervert's act of desperation which lead to the boy crashing directly into the wall instead. He would force himself to stand up after hearing the perv use the medal to destroy the console after reactivating the thrusters. "Damn it.." Stabbing his weapon into the wall for support as the spaceship violently shuttered from the sudden boost of speed, Imato glared at Kamoshida before letting go of his melee weapon and taking out his pistol in an attempt to shoot the man only to hear clicks from the firearm. "Out of ammo?! Son of a-"

Being out of ammo was the least of his problems at this point as the ship had finally reached the earth once again, the impact being more than just a few shutters. Unable to react within time, Imato was flung into the wall once again which on it's own was nearly enough to fully knock him out considering his poor defenses. But since he was so close to the broken down mech, pieces from the machine would be launched into him upon impact which made a nasty crack sound upon hitting his body. That was basically overkill, knocking him out for sure this time as this was impossible to truly endure through. So like the shadows within the room and the other thieves, he was completely knocked out due to the effects of the ship's impact. Loki would shake his head and chuckle before disappearing due to his user being rendered unconscious.

Due to the way he was knocked out, Imato remained unconscious for a rather long time even after being healed by the beads Baron conveniently snatched back from the unconscious thief. He would wake in the middle of Baron's beatdown on Kamoshida, a smirk going onto his face as he saw the shadow's blood being spilt from the brutality of Baron. "Well, I'll be damned..." The boy finally stood up after a few more moments as Baron had finally finished dealing with the pervert king, giving a final warning and... regards?

"Agata sends his regards."

Hearing this confused Imato but he would keep note of it so he could remember to add it to his own notes later. Not really caring what was said at the current moment, the white-haired thief went to collect his dropped weapons before smirking as he then walked over to the crown that Baron threw aside, picking it up. He looked to the subjugated Kamoshida with the smirk still apparent on his face as he put on the bloody crown. "I don't think you'll be needing this anymore, have fun with the suffering. Bastard." Imato surprisingly said in english since he wanted to confuse the beaten Kamoshida more than anything. Still wearing the crown, Imato did the same as Swan and started to head for the exit.

Morgana was surprised that Masami had caught him and asked if he was ok. His heart was warmed at that and he nodded at the bird masked thief. "Yes I am thanks for asking Masa-" Morgana was then blinded by the perverts last ditch effort to preserve himself which was pathetic to say the least. Morgana blinked and now the ship was going to crash down and he fell out of Masami's arms onto the ground. "What the fuckkkkkkkkk," Morgana said as he crashed around the ship control room and soon blacked out. Ann did too as she hit her head on the controls hard and fell to the floor knocked out cold. "You dumb stupid ditzy girl," Kajiki appeared in Ann's head and chuckled at her, "should have never turned away from me...look at you, making a fool of yourself at every turn." Ann pulled out her submachine gun and tried to shoot him but no bullets came out and Kajiki smirked as he kicked the gun out of her hand and grabbed her by the throat. He held her up so she could see the dead bodies of her fellow phantom thieves on the ground. "Never thought murder suited you Ann," Kajiki snickered at her, "turns out your actions killed them. Thats my thing...my actions kill people." Ann was speechless as she tried to fight his grip on her throat and her eyes were wet with tears. Kajiki then threw her into a electric chair and Sougo was there by the switch. "Wait Agata-san!" Ann shouted but he did not seem to listen to her words at all.

"Well Ann I guess you are a accidental murderer," Kajiki said and shrugged as he clasped his hands behind his back, "The embarrassment of the phantom thieves...you couldn't even do anything right." Ann started to cry a little but that did nothing as Kajiki scoffed at her, "Go ahead cry...thats not going to fix the amount of blunders you had done and you know what you think you are? You are a spoiled little brat!" Kajiki took a calling card and placed it on her lap, it had the name Ann Takamaki on it and was signed by the thieves with Masami's handwriting. "Too bad they did not get to steal your heart," Kajiki smirked at her, "you are a truly terrible person Ann Takamaki." Sougo hit the switch and the electric chair and Ann yelled as electricity coursed through her.

Ann soon woke up as Baron healed all the thieves and noticed him giving Kamoshida a beating that he deserved. She then saw Kasumi begging Sougo to stop but then he killed her shadow self and his shadow self. She rubbed her head and shivered thinking about what happened inside her head when she was knocked out, that was what she believed about herself and that she was an embarrassment to the phantom thieves for all the times where she screwed something up. Should she even be a phantom thief anymore? She doubted that anyone would miss her in the thieves if she just became Ann Takamaki and lived her normal life. At least the phantom thieves would not have anyone to screw up an operation. She stood up and pulled out her gun and tossed it aside, "I can't endanger you guys with my blunders. I am going to take a break," Ann said and exited the palace.

Morgana did not expect Baron to do that to the Pervert or kill his own shadow and that girls. He also was shocked when Ann said she was done and left them, "Wait panther?! Come back!" The cat sighed and looked at the crown not knowing if he even wanted it anymore. "
I want to die..." Kamoshida said while shaking, "I have done so many bad things-" Morgana looked at the keeper of lust, "listen you better fucking not kill yourself and tell the whole school what you did." His voice was hostile and it sounded like he was not playing around. Kamoshida nodded and looked horrified at what he had done, "Very well cat...I must apologize to everyone including Agata." Shadow Kamoshida disappeared leaving Morgana alone with the crown.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next day at school, Kamoshida exited his car in the parking lot and slammed the door with his shaky hands. Kamoshida was trembling as he entered the school and passed by some students who noticed him being scared and stared at the man. Kamoshida kept on going until he reached the student council room and knocked on the door to find Sougo. Makoto opened the door surprised to see him, "
Kamoshida-san? What brings you here?" Kamoshida took a gulp and looked at her, "I want to apologize to Agata-san for everything...I- I wanted to use Ogawa-san for sexual pleasure and also made Yoshizawa-san my slave." Makoto was speechless and could not believe what she was hearing and nodded as she planned for Shunjin to have an assembly, "Save it for the assembly."

2 Hours later there was an assembly and Kamoshida was at the stand with a mic. He watched students and other people pour in and took a deep shaky breath as he was going to begin his confession. "Hello," He said in a shaky voice when everyone got quiet, "I am not the man you all thought me to be...I beat students who piss me off and I threaten them to keep quiet." The crowd let out a shocked gasp at him but Kamoshida continued on with his confessions, "I also wanted to use Ogawa-san as sexual pleasure and used Yoshizawa-san." A few kids took videos of him with their phones and broadcasted it to the internet via snapchat or instagram live. Kamoshida continued to say stuff that would lock him in prison for a long time and the students were yelling at him and soon the whole crowd was getting upset at him and throwing stuff at him.

"Perfect," Morgana muttered hiding under the bleachers because he had to sneak in since Ann did not wait for him. He looked around for Masami or Shiro in the crowd but there was too many students. The cat sighed and watched the gym teacher cry in front of angry people some more until a dog came over and barked at him fiercely. Morgana meowed at him and the dog chuckled, "
Surprised to see you Morgana...are you helping out some humans?" The cat shook his head, "No, they have what I want...so I am using them." That was a lie and he shook away the memory of Masami saving him, "They all hate me so why would I help them?" The dog smirked and saw that Morgana was lying, "Awwwww did little Morgana go soft? Gotta go back to his owners." Morgana growled and lunged at the dog, "Come here Kaizen!" Morgana meowed as he tried to scratch Kaizen's face but he was quick and managed to dodge making Morgana miss and hit someone's leg. "So quick to anger," Kaizen said and walked over to Morgana and grabbed him by the collar with his mouth and walked out of the gymnasium with him. "MASAMI! SHIRO!" Morgana shouted but to no avail as Kaizen dragged him out of the gym and threw him against a locker. The cat and dog started to fight each other.

"In conclusion I am sorry," Kamoshida said as police officers went up to handcuff him and escorted him off the stage. He watched the angry people yell at him and scream insults at him.

"Get away from me you buffoon!" Morgana shouted at Kaizen as the cat brought up his nails, "I am not going back to working for that damn fox!" Kaizen shook his head, "A
ctually you are Morgana since you signed a contract...better get treasure hunting or else I will not hesitate to kill your friends or bring them a dead Bakeneko." Morgana scoffed as the dog walked away and sighed knowing that if he continued to treasure hunt with the thieves then he would grow an attachment towards them and that could be bad for his job.

Futuba was in her room playing Overwatch eagerly awaiting for Dascal to come home from school when Wakaba called for her. "What mom?! I can't pause an online game!" The girl sighed and exited the game groaning that she was about to get a 20 kill win. Futaba guessed her dad wanted her to work at Leblanc for a bit. She set down her premium controller down and ran to grab her jacket and exit the house as Wakaba told her what she already knew. "Tell the old fart I am coming," Futaba told her mother and rushed outside.

2 days later...

Koyuki exhaled gently, her warm breath flowing out into the cool evening air as she walked with her hands in her jeans pockets, leaning slightly on the middle-aged man walking with her.

The news of Kamoshida’s sudden confession and arrest wasn’t exactly prime-time news, but it was on TV and in the papers too. But damn, even his confession was slimy. While she had attended a different school all along, she was happy Shiro would be in a safer environment if she ever decided to go back. Koyuki herself would be returning to school in a couple of days, too...

She’d thrown away the card that other gang’s leader had left behind at the warehouse that other day, but she could almost still feel it in her pocket sometimes. She had to trust Shiro to do what was best for the kids. Even if she was stubborn sometimes...she’d never actually let any of them down.

“Don’t worry, dad.” She glanced at the tired-looking man, giving him a firm smile. “I know this round of treatment will be good for mom. I don’t mind being the one to visit her every day after...school...?” Her voice trailed off as she noticed a familiar figure rounding the corner towards her.

Their eyes met.

Shiro hesitated for a split second before turning to cross the road.

“S-shiro, wait!”

Shiro froze in place, barely looking back at Koyuki and her father. “...Excuse me.”

“No, please...” Koyuki shook her head, gently tugging Shiro’s sleeve. “I’m sorry that I-”

“There’s nothing to apologise for, Koyuki.” Shiro’s jaw set. “You’re doing what you have to.”

“W-wait, you’re Shiro?” The man interjected. Stepping forward, he took Shiro’s hand. His gaze was tired, like he had aged ten years in a few months, but his voice carried unmistakable gratitude. “I just...I guess I oughta thank you. For looking out for Koyuki while she was...away.” The implication that passed between the aged man and the young woman was brief, but it was all that was needed. “If you want, you could come over anytime-”

“Dad!” Koyuki frowned, before turning back to Shiro. “...Please, just let me explain. My mom’s...sick.” Taking Shiro’s arm, she walked a few more paces out of earshot of her father. “She doesn’t have much more than two months...so I can’t leave them alone. I can’t leave him alone.”

It was Shiro’s turn to frown. So Koyuki would move back with them, huh? The same parents that turned on her when she wasn’t their moneymaker anymore, who made her home unbearable and drove her away, only to turn back and bow to her when the threat of age and death crept up on them?

But when she looked back at Koyuki’s eyes, what she saw wasn’t pity towards her family or to Shiro. Only determination, the will to change her own future. She wasn’t running away...while Shiro herself was resisting change.

“...You don’t need to hear it from me.” Shiro sighed. “But...you’re doing the right thing. I...I have to go.” Blinking back a tear, she firmly pulled her arm out of Koyuki’s grasp and turned away.

“Wait!” Koyuki gasped, before realising that she probably shouldn’t try to hold Shiro in place. “This doesn’t mean we can’t see each other again, you know...”

“...Yeah.” Shiro replied non-comittally. “Maybe I’ll call you.”

A voice spoke, from deep within.

“I am thou, and thou art I.”

“To break the chains of captivity means never to place them on another.”

“It may take more strength to let go than to hold on no matter the cost.”

“We have learned that lesson: a new path may soon open for us...”

An emergency assembly was issued not too long after the mission and Masami had a pretty good idea that it had to do with the change of heart Kamoshida was undergoing. Although what she didn't anticipate was how his confession would involve a direct apology involving her, bringing attention to her. As soon as she was mentioned by the vile teacher, she saw the students around her look in her direction as more followed suit with whispers all of which she was assuming was talk about her. She couldn't recall a time that ever had received this much attention, and she very much did not like it. As a swindler, she was always taught to never bring attention to herself, and if she did it would be on purpose to cause a distraction of one or more specific targets. This amount of people noticing her made her highly uncomfortable as she looked down, trying not to make eye contact with anyone as she shoved her hands in her pockets. "Damn teacher, even after he's behind bars, he's still gonna cause problems for me," she thought now speculating that she might even need to deal with people in the future like reporters from the media wanting to cover this as a story. Heck if the cops are already there, the reporters might not me too far from showing up already with a scoop like this.

Keeping this in mind, soon enough the assembly abruptly ended and some students began to approach Masami offering their condolences. "Ogawa-san, it must difficult for you to find out that he was going to do such an awful thing to you."

Another student even said, "We are so sorry Ogawa-san. My friends and I noticed all the time when Kamoshida was creepily staring at you, but none of us could do anything about it."

To get away from further students wanting to say their piece Masami began to put on an act, pretending like she was on the verge of crying. "I-I had no idea. I just need time to myself..." she said shakily with a frown and quivering lips that is usually associated when someone is trying to hold back tears. The students around seemed understanding as she began walking away, until from the corner of her eye she saw Kasumi dealing with the same problem of being bombarded by students. From the look on her face, she seemed just as uncomfortable as her even though she tried to hide it. Masami was about to overlook this, but stopped herself and turned to walk in her direction and patted her shoulder to get her attention. "Um Yoshizawa-chan, you probably need to process all this like me, right? If you want, we can talk about it since we're in the same boat at this point. I get that it's a lot to take in," Masami said with a slight smile and offered her hand to the red-headed girl. Upon taking her hand, Masami would then lead her out of the auditorium and let go of her hand once they were away and sigh. "Whew, now we can breath... But seriously, how you feeling there Yoshizawa?" Masami asked in a different tone than the person she was trying to be perceived as by the other students.

Kasumi tried to smile at the students who started to apologize to her and ask her questions. The red head did not want this attention clearly and she wondered why Kamoshida was acting like this. Why did he confess? The girl was very confused about the whole situation but thankfully the other girl Masami came in the right moment to save her, taking her hand Kasumi was led out of the auditorium. She smiled at the green haired girl who she did not know much about besides the rumors of being a swindler and criminal. So far she made a good impression on the red head and Kasumi didn't really believe that Masami was such a bad person as people said she was.

"Thanks Ogawa-san," Kasumi said as she let go of her hand and Kasumi offered her a smile. When she asked about about how she was doing the red head sighed and did not know if she should trust her. Sougo said to watch out for her earlier but Masami seemed like she actually cared about her and wanted to know how she was feeling. "I am glad he is finally confessing," Kasumi said to her, "I am to sure why he is doing that...I am just very confused and frazzled." The red head could not seem to wrap her head around the fact that Kamoshida had a change of heart since he was such a cruel man in general.

What was really going on here? What secret was being hidden from her she wondered and was she living a lie? Kasumi figured that she needed to visit Maruki after this since she was beginning to feel like her Kasumi identity slipping away and she did not want to be Sumire. She feared that it had to come to an end but she still held onto to the identity of Kasumi

When the sudden assembly was called Imato somewhat had an idea it was for, of course his first guess was something regarding Kamoshida but he wouldn't be surprised if it was something else. His wonder was quickly answered as Kamoshida took the mic and began his confession. Scoffing at the man's shaky voice, Imato really didn't care to listen to what he had to say... at least that was the case until names he knew were mentioned. While the boy was aware of a few of the teacher's atrocities, he never knew that Masami was dragged into this, must have been the reason why she was to be rid of the pervert.

"That son of a... Screw the rules." The white-haired boy started to shift his way through the crowd, his hands clenching into fists as he got closer and closer to the stage. Sure, the thieves nor Baron killed Kamoshida's shadow as to keep him alive so he can confess his sins, but now that the confession had been done... a few broken bones wouldn't be too much. Luckily, police were already there and started to take the bastard away. Though if Kamoshida were to look at the students once more before being fully taken into custody, he would see an enraged Imato, slowly pulling his thumb across his neck as a threat towards the pervert.

After the assembly started to disperse, Imato felt no need to stay at the school at this point, especially since he was far too angered to ignore any potential nuisances. So after dawning his hood he made his way to the exit, shoulder checking the staff member so he wouldn't have any resistance on the way out. 'We should have freaking killed him when we had the chance, screw the chance to repent for their crimes. Fools like him are better off rotting in hell...' Not knowing where he could go, the teen just stood outside the school gates as he started to scroll through his phone. That's when he had remembered something from that damned pervert's palace, something he had been given.

Pulling out the card that had been given to him by Countess, Imato took a long look at the card before starting to twirl it in his fingers. Was this something he was actually considering? Well he was considering a few things, but they were more oriented towards his slight crush on that damned merc. Shaking his head to be rid of those thoughts, a sudden smile would appear on his face as a sinister idea popped up into his head. It would take some planning, but the outcome may prove to be more than useful... at least that's what he thought.

"Alright... Let's do this." As his smile turned to a confident smirk, Imato dialed the number on the card to see what or who could possibly answer. Whether it be Countess or some sort of recruitment number, he had an idea and was too stubborn to give it up now.

And now, the day that all their efforts come to fruition finally came. While there was a few days worth of delay that worried Sougo, to see everything unfold so fast was vastly satisfying. Standing on the balcony of the school's assembly hall, Sougo watch from above as chaos unfolded. The pervert's confession shook the entire school to its core, turning many of the once staunch supporters into two-faced traitors, who immediately ridiculed him. It was all rather amusing to watch, everything this man had built coming tumbling down in one day. Comeuppance was something he had always enjoyed watching from afar, though this time, it felt even sweeter than usual. Sougo leaned onto the railing of the balcony with one of his hands tucked beneath his chin. Although his face was mostly neutral, if one were to look carefully, one would see a small sly grin forming.

And yet, despite all this, he felt that this bastard was being left off easy. Part of him had truly wished that he had finished him off there and then. But then again, his continued existence will be much more miserable. And besides, even after this confession, the scars of his deeds weren't going to simply disappear. If nothing else, he took comfort in knowing that most of the students in this school will no longer have to suffer his abuse of power and authority. As his eyes wandered around the assembly hall, he spotted both Masami and Kasumi being swarmed by the other students, much to his annoyance. Even now, despite his fall, all of them still needed to deal with the fallout of all this.

Following Kamoshida's arrest, an announcement was made asking everyone in the study body to avoid pestering the victims and not spread unsubstantiated claims to the news reporters who were expected to be around the school for the next few weeks. Though, Sougo suspected such an announcement was more so for the school to protect what little reputation they had left rather than to comfort the students.

As much as he wanted to rest. He knew his job was still far from over.

At the request of the principal, Sougo went to his office to have a little "discussion" on how things should be handled. Sougo found it strange that he would request him instead of the student council president, but then again, he could already guess what this was about, and he didn't exactly come here to listen to the principal. "Ah Agata-san, please come in and take a sit." As always the principal put up a guise of civility and politeness, but Sougo knew better than to trust such fronts. Nonetheless, he took a seat and played along. "How can I help you, Principal Kobayakawa?" He was direct to the point about it, even giving him his usual fake kind demeanor.

"Ah yes. As you know the school is in a very precarious situation right now..and I felt that it's important for us to...touch base..get our story straight.." The principal was very careful with words, his tone was slow and cautious as if he already understood the vulnerability of his current position. A grin began forming on Sougo face, as he placed his under his chin, shifting his posture to something much more casual and relaxed. "And what story may that be?" although his tone was still civil, his eyes of indifference tell a different story. "With regards to the Kamoshida incident, I want you to-" before the principal could say anything else. Sougo immediately interrupted him, already anticipating what he was about to say. "That you had no idea about his indecent behavior and you were just another innocent party that had been misled by him..." Sougo took a deep breath as he carefully considered what to do next.

"Well..yes...it's important for us to-" Once again, Sougo interrupted the principal, this time with a lot more condescending tone.
"And why would I do that?" and with those words, Sougo's grin became a full-on smile of victory. "Hey! I'd watch your tone! I am still your principal!" The principal tried to respond back with a threatening tone, trying to cling to what little power he had. "Perhaps for the next few days. But once they find out about your involvement, I am sure the school board would be more than happy to get rid of you." And there it is again, that smug smile of a sly operator.

"You can't do this! I'll...I'll..what is it do you want? A letter of recommendation??! Money!?" and now he has moved to the bargaining stage. All this did was earn a few hearty chuckles from Sougo.
"I didn't come here to negotiate. I came here to laugh at you." Sougo didn't have to hide behind his usual kind persona anymore at this point. "You....you little bastard! I'll have you expelled for this!" The principal bounced back with an angry reaction, but once again, the young man remained unfazed by his attempt at intimidation. "By all means, go ahead. Though once the board removes you, they will likely reverse that decision." He knew full well that he had much stronger leverage in this situation. After all, it would look pretty suspicious for the principal to expel a student who had been a victim of their recent scandal. "Well..I am done here. If make sure to give you some change when I see you begging on the streets. Bye!" And with that, Sougo got up and gave the principal a playful and salute before exiting the office, leaving the Fatman to contemplate on his next move carefully.

Seeing that the red-head was racking her brain, trying to make sense of what has happened, Masami tried to alleviate this curiosity. "Whatever his reasoning is, we should just count our blessings right? The man won't be harassing anymore students like us anymore. So I'll chalk that up to a victory today since he's going to get what's coming to him."

She paused to see that the girl was still in deep thought and seeing her still "frazzled", Masami wanted to further help her. As she got this feeling she wondered about just how much softer she had become since joining the Phantom Thieves. Kasumi was a stranger. A cute gymnast that was so very different from her and was a prized asset to the school's reputation for her talent. In all actuality, Masami didn't owe her anything. Sure she sometimes spoke to Kasumi to talk casually, but while she had been under cover she had made it a point to be social to all the athletes of the school she came in contact with... So why did she gravitate to Kasumi's kindness in particular? Was it because of what she told her the one time about her not thinking that Masami was "that bad" regardless of a few rumors she heard about her? This was one thing that Masami notated to herself as she continued to distract Kasumi from wondering about Kamoshida's change of heart. "Hey, all that matters is that we can now put this behind us." Masami then looked at the time on her phone and noticed that everyone should start to get ready for their next class soon so she unfortunately needed to cut this discussion short. "At any rate, I'm glad I was able to help get away from that chaos. I doubt it will get any better during lunch. How about we meet up again and have lunch together? Hopefully others will be less inclined to approach us that way."

Upon calling the number that was given to Tragedy, when he called it would only go immediately to voicemail. For the voicemail recording there would a moment of silence before Countess' voice was heard in the message. "Hello there! If you're listening to this you either need to pay me back in some way OR I have deemed you worthy of being looked into for hire. State your moniker and make your way to the white building on the corner of Meisho Dori and Heisei Dori in three days at 7:00 PM. Don't worry, I constantly check this thing so I'll get the message. Just don't try to pull a fast one on me... you won't even get the chance to regret it if you do." With that, a cackling laugh would be heard at the end of the message before cutting out.
