Personality:
Shiro sometimes appears to speak and carry herself with what she believes is a “ladylike” demeanor, but her actions are as brutal as the worst of her peers. Bearing a deep resentment towards society in her heart, she cares only about protecting her “sisters” in the gang and indulging in a destructive lifestyle day after day, with little hope for her future.


Backstory:
Kicked out from her home about a year ago after her parents found out she was transgender, Shiro found her greatest fears vindicated. With nowhere else to turn, she eventually fell in with other delinquents and dropouts with their own hardships, immersed in the dregs of society. Gathering a band of girls about her age, they began to make a living by squatting in abandoned shoplots in the slums of the city as freeters, working part-time jobs on occassion but more often getting by on petty theft, while committing miscellaneous crimes of vandalism, brawling with other gangs, and playing their music with the apparent intent of getting as many noise complaints called in as possible.

Even so, something is stirring in the darkness of the city, and soon Shiro will have to take a stand to ensure the future of herself and her “sisters”.

Somehow, she's still enrolled in school this year, but that might change if she keeps not showing up.


Arcana: Strength
Persona: Thrud, the daughter of Thor from Norse mythology and one of the Valkyries. As Shirome’s Persona, she appears as a tall feminine being with cybernetic armor and jet wings.

Appearance:
Shiro is somewhat tall and broad for her age, something that annoys her considerably. Her (natural?) blue hair is usually worn in a large bun, and her face occasionally shows cuts and bruises from her antics that are covered up to the best of her ability with makeup. She usually dresses in a mishmash of stolen or salvaged clothes, favoring leather jackets, hoodies, and long skirts.

Personality- Sly and sharp witted, Sougo is a cunning and enigmatic individual that rarely reveals his motives and reasoning behind his actions. A businessman at heart, he presents himself politely towards others, even if they wouldn’t do the same. He likes to maintain a light-hearted demeanour yet he is not above cracking sarcastic remarks.

He is pragmatic and is willing to employ what some would consider underhanded tactics to achieve his goals. That said, he does have some code of honour, never involving innocent bystanders if he could help it. And even if he did, he would set them right afterwards.

Aion is a god of the cyclic ages, and the circle of the year and the zodiac.

Backstory

Sougo was born to a unique family, with his mother being a watchmaker while his dad was a gym instructor. Despite their being better off than most families at first, a questionable business investment and ventures lead to large debts. The young boy spent most of his early childhood learning the art of watchmaking to contribute to their weekly income.

When he wasn’t making watches, he was learning to fight to fend for himself since debt collectors frequently sent muscle their way as “gentle reminders.”. It was a strong contrast to the delicate art of watchmaking, but nonetheless, he found it useful, since he frequently got into fights with people that insult his family name.

Debt collectors frequently visited his shop to collect their weekly payment, but it got to a point where interest became more and more unreasonable. It was apparent to him that they were being taken advantage of. One thing led to another, and he had a hostile confrontation with the son of a gang leader, leading to additional debt being added, much to the anger and disappointment of his family. After all, his father always said to him “Never pick a fight you can’t win.”. And just like that, his life was turned upside down. He ran away from everything and eventually…he would stumble onto something that extraordinary, the MetaVerse.

It took some time for him to get used to how things worked there, but eventually he found out can find all sorts of information from there and to a certain extent, manipulate real world events. He mainly used this info to his advantage by buying and selling stocks online, as well as anonymously exposing people that have previously wronged him. With his newfound wealth and power, he thought about paying off his family’s debt. But he had a better idea. He blackmailed them into not forgetting about the debt of several families as well as liquidating their assets to pay him to keep their illegal operations a secret. After all that, he still chose to expose them out of spite.

These days, he secretly runs a business selling critical information to all sorts of customers at a hefty price including the police, government and very rarely politicians. In school, he is seen as a “model student” due to the way he turned his life around from his delinquent ways. From their perspective, all they see is a young, up and coming tycoon in the making. Using this perspective to his advantage, he joined the student council, using it as a source for any notable leads, while also getting the teachers off his back. Currently, he is investigating some interesting allegations about a certain P.E teacher.

Backstory

Throughout most of her life her parents have been poor, petty thieves that conned people all the time and would often use her to play into whatever role benefited them at the time. Over time she got really good at the sleight of hand, but she hated it. She constantly saw the results of stealing from people and how it sometimes ruined their lives. As she grew up she noticed that other little girls didn't have to deal with the same things she did. Upon this realization she decided the only way out of the situation she was in was to take her schooling seriously.

She currently lives in fear that the authorities will one day catch her parents, charge them, and subsequently also charge her for assisting her parents in conning innocent civilians.​

PERSONALITY: It’s impossible to pin more than a few describing words to Imato, as he can be pretty much anything at any time due to what’s presumed to be a mix of ADHD and Borderline Personality Disorder. Unable to take control of his own emotion, Imato is shown to have frequent ups and downs of extreme emotion, the primary one being anger. Though it seems his anger is transformed into more of a craving, for violence perhaps. Other than this, Imato can frequently be seen with different social skills due to this, being charming one moment, then block-headed the next. Though it seems to be slowly improving to a more stable level.

HISTORY:
Most families celebrate the birth of a child, or at least bring care to the newborn’s life right away. The Makage family however wasn’t like the average family, as their newborn boy was immediately given up to his Uncle and Aunt, so little Imato spent his earlier years as a Japanese-Born living in the US. Despite what it sounded like, life was good to the botched family…

Was

Oh how life can so easily be taken due to the foolish actions of a third party. By a bullet, a fall, or in the case of young Makage’s family? A distracted driver. The people the boy had called his parents, his loved ones, had held the young one tightly in their arms to take the brunt of the impact. Their sacrifice ensured the life of the child, but left him wondering why they had to leave him behind. Despite being only eleven years of age he pinned the guilt onto himself, perhaps if he hadn’t made them a bit late of their schedule that day all could have been avoided? Imato deemed himself guilty of a murder he didn’t cause, but the troubles just began there.

After having traced his family roots back to Japan, the young boy was told to pack whatever belongings he had before being sent off to a country he knew nothing about. Other than the native language. What greeted the boy was a workaholic father, drunken mother and a little girl who was just a couple years younger than him. All he was told by authorities was that this was his family, but that word meant nothing in this situation.

The father had congratulated the boy on his “murder”, only worried about the fact that he was now the sole inheritor of his family’s wealth. The mother said nothing to Imato, even if he was her child she admitted that she got rid of him for a reason. But since she was stuck with him now, she didn’t try to comfort him and instead shoved work onto him nonstop so she could just sit and drink the day away.

The little girl was the one that worried him most though, she seemed off in personality and her physical health was abysmal. When the boy finally built the courage to voice his concerns to the two adults, he was told to shut his trap and mind his own business. But he knew better than to just sit by, so little by little he started becoming friends with his blood sister to build that trust. And with time he became more of a parental figure than the two ever were to the young Ibuki, despite such his young age.

Imato cleaned up the broken down home, made his sister and himself food for every damned meal, took the girl to school when their folks were simply too lazy to, all the while dealing with his own unresolved issues. While the Mr hid away in his study, and the Mrs drank / smoked her life away in the living room. The boy was determined to make his sister’s life better even if it cost him his own happiness and sanity.

Money was tight at times so despite it not being the most admirable of actions, he got into fights with some guys he spotted carrying wallets. This is how he learned to street-fight before spending the time to learn some proper techniques. But in the end it paid off, he had a way to get some of that anger out of him and Ibuki was starting to become a happier, more sociable kid.

To this day he continues to be a parent for his sister while juggling his guilt, rage and general mental illness. He wants to escape but fears leaving the one family member he cares about behind. So he continues to fight on…

Away from personal interests, he is blunt and factually only pursuing further to investigate his interests even if he has to use 'interrogation' techniques if there is a whiff of his interests or a investigation is needed for the pursuit of the theory of dominos, crane games or monopoly all victims towards his minor ambition his blind focus.

Persona- Count of Monto Cristo, his true name lost to the avenues of passion and a escape artist partnered with fate to conduct revenge against those that wrong him. appearing as a single gloved hand attached to a invisible man as a whole.


Backstory- Monopoly, Crane games, ski ball, foosball, blackjack, dominos and now this incessant obsession with finding cryptids his education and life in general has been controlled by a impulsive obsessive desire to attempt to master all the skills necessary to become a 'civilized protector of the innocent' at least that's he assumes his father's intentions, when he isn't busy doing what ever a swat member does in the modern age whenever he returned home Isao wanted to impress and play with him on a equal level at everything ever since he was young always just being the two of them in their apartment sharing a game of cards or trying to win a headrest for his father. Though this level of care and sensitivity only reveals itself on those Tuesday nights in his day to day , this repeated year after year and now though before he was happy and content to alternate between this and studies, there is a nagging feeling at the back of his head distracting him from the day, drawing him to take part in activities that serve no purpose for that Tuesday night after all what's the point of reading or watching a movie if it had no reward whether that be victory over another or a prize.

Backstory
A sudden foreign exchange student from America Dascals sudden appearance at Shujin Academy can be seen as odd as he doesn't seem to be there, particularly for any school reasons. Coming from a middle-class family Dascal has quite the chip off the shoulder for academics mainly in history and mathematics. He has no bad marks on his school records yet has been associated outside of school to have caused some commotion on off-limits locations being escorted away by officials. As of late, his parents have noticed a drastic change in his habits becoming more studies by the day as if having found something of high interest. Around the time of the appearance of the official announcement of the phantom thieves to the world, a sudden surge of study came to life in energy never before seen of the boy. Out of the blue, he made a hard case to his parents to study abroad in Japan of all places almost as if searching for some unknown truth of his own.​

Personality- Asuka is the kind of person that often takes risks for a good story. She has a lot of passion for exposing the truth making her an enemy to a lot of corporations and the Yakuza. She isn’t corrupt and won’t take bribes from people to perpetuate a particular narrative. Perhaps that’s why she can never find work. Asuka is also caring towards others even if they deserve it. Everyone deserves a second chance don’t they?

Occupation: Freelance Journalist

Background: Asuka was born to two journalists in Tokyo who instilled in her to always pursue the truth no matter what. Kaneshiro ordered a hit on her parents when she was 17 and now the girl was set to live with her grandma. Her parents inspired Asuka to go into journalism even if it was dangerous. It was really dangerous and she had almost died multiple times. But she came into contact with the phantom thieves of heart after being pulled into the Metaverse accidentally. The thieves saved the scared woman from shadows.

After that traumatic event Asuka began writing about the phantom thieves in a good light. She gained a following online and soon the thieves would start to notice her and would approach her shocked that someone portrayed them in a good light.

Personality - Reisuke Kurosawa initially presents as a highly caring and empathic individual. Appearing initially as a pacifist who enjoys peace and hates violence and fighting, Reisuke eventually accepts that to change society, some violence might be necessary and their pacifism doesn't extend to Shadows since to him, they don't count as proper lifeforms, just psychic manifestations of negativity. He is capable of being gentle, caring, modest, and humble, frequently acting as a mediator during debates. He is a little introverted as evidenced by his shyness and timidness, often having difficulty standing up to those who would bully him due to his genderneutral fashion sense, buying his apparel from the same store as Chidori Yoshino, wearing many cross-like dagger motifs and professing to be a Christian, although not stating a specific denomination. He doesn't really have any friends or acquaintances to start with, so he's lonely, and his loneliness hurts him intensely. Reisuke occasionally has a nervous stutter when he speaks which becomes more pronounced when stressed and often has a hint of sorrow and sadness in his voice, as if he has a heavy burden on his shoulders.

Attire - White laboratory coat over a frilly white shirt and pearl pink waistcoat, long dark purple pants and red boots.

Backstory - Reisuke was born in the sea of cognition, as an unknowing pawn of the God of Control Yaldaboth, implanted with false memories of a childhood and given the power to alter the memory of others through physical contact, often unknowingly using this power since Reisuke is unaware of his status. Implanted into the Kurosawa family with faked memories and faked documentation, Reisuke believes himself to be a completely normal human with no odd origin whatsoever, even seeing faked photos and videos of their supposed birth. His father, Reiji Kurosawa is a salaryman working for an IT company in Tokyo who died of a heart attack from overwork, with the company refusing to take responsibility for his death and suing the family in response. As a result, Reisuke's mother moved away to work in America to try and find their fortune, sending money home to Reisuke and his older brother Shoichi. The money she sends isn't enough and with relatives refusing to take them in, Shoichi turned to the Yakuza for assistance, using the underworld to secure income and becoming a violent young man, refusing to allow Reisuke to suffer.

Activated by Yaldabaoth subtly to infiltrate the Phantom Thieves to spy on them in a world he can't see to rig the game further, Reisuke is drawn into Mementos and awakens to Sleipnir. Now being guided by Yaldabaoth, he begins his infiltration and follows them in, unsure why he's doing this or what this world is. Discovering that Shoichi is being abused by a corrupt cop who wants to frame him for crimes he didn't commit for a promotion, Reisuke becomes determined to save his big brother, even if that means giving the cop a mental shutdown.
