Rules & Notes
* Please be active. At least a reply every couple of days. Notify me if you decide to leave so we can write out your character or figure out what to do.
* At least a paragraph per post (preferably per character but if not that's fine) 4-5 sentences.

* I'm really open to plot ideas. It'd be nice to have a co-gm for this rp. Again: co-gm position is open & wanted
* For your main characters make sure you only do what you can handle. If you want to make a character that you want included but posts less/is less writing you can make side characters. Side characters could be the owners of shops or the residents around town.
* Keep your powers within reason.
* Dog shifters should be varied! Small dogs & medium sized ones! It'd be nice to not have all german shepherds, huskies etc.
* Wolf shifters transform into regular wolves, not the upright kind.
* Right now we're doing one alpha but if more people want to join I can increase it to two

Position explanation

Alphas (wolves & dogs)
Leader of the pack. It's their job to make sure the humans remain unaware of their supernatural existence. Might also have to deal with other (possibly supernatural) creatures

Betas (wolves & dogs)
The enforcers of the pack. Usually the biggest wolf. The muscle in the pack

Scouts (wolves):
Scout out information. Natural objects can give a brief glimpse of their limited history.

Sniffers (dog)
would be the equivalent of scouts although they have the ability to pick up human scents, a limited history of who that human has interacted with.

Hunters (wolves):
Has the ability to discern scents that are faint and stale and can "resurrect" almost ghost trails.

Herbalist (dog):
Can gain knowledge of herbs at an accelerated rate. Does not have any healing powers

Healer (wolves):
Healing powers but takes longer to understand herbs.

Fighter (dog):
Since they're less of a unit the fighter dogs have the potential to be stronger than the wolves in terms of strength due to the fighter dogs fighting for their lives rather than the pack

Warriors (wolves):
Although they may not have the same strength they can communicate almost telepathically with one another and can unleash coordinated attacks.

History/Backstory
Evan’s past is not a happy one, and not because of his parents. Growing up in a loving home, with a metal (but kind) older sister, his mother, and father, He never could understand why they were cautious of letting him go outside. Even when he showed signs as the Healer, they tried to keep him from being around others. Especially on the full moon. Evan found out why when his sister got bit. She went crazy, becoming some horrible hybrid. She attacked her father at night, slaughtering him and then attacking her own mother. Hiding downstairs in the closet, not a scratch or bite on him, He cried until he fell asleep.

The next day, a few others found him alone. They had to explain to him that his sister and mother fought, but eventually the mother won. Afterwards, she had to kill herself to keep her son safe. He was timid ever since, and always tried to keep himself from getting bites and blood. Evan never wanted anyone he knew to get hurt again.

Powers/Abilities:

Numb
Evan can take away a person’s pain, as much or as little as he wants. The draw back is intense, however, and he doesn’t use it often. He feels the pain himself, but not while the magic is in play. Only afterwards, and in one fell swoop, which can leave him exhausted.

Cry Baby
Part of where his nickname comes from. When Evan cry’s on a wound, it speeds up the healing process. It can seal a gash in mere moments, stop the bleeding, even save a life. The draw back? The wound is inflicted on him. The gash on that leg he just healed? Now it’s on his leg. The tears also do not work on himself, and they do NOT work on the near dead or dead. He doesn’t let anyone know he has this, for more reasons than one.

Sleep
This is something that comes in handy when there are more serious injury’s. The sound of Evans voice is soothing, so much so it can cause the patient to fall asleep if he wants. The taxation on this particular power isn’t as brutal, but firm all the same. After the use of this power, Evan is plagued by nightmares and night terrors that keep him up and cause him to loose sleep.

Normally he wears tight clothing, with lots of his piercings on and other punk rock memorabilia. He's around seven feet and 2 inches tall which is 218.44 centimeters and weighs 220 pounds. He's a healthy buff and probably scare his classes if he wasn't a teddy bear in disguise. He has multiple tattoos which include several tribal tattoos on his shoulder, some quotes on his chest and under his rib cage about life, as well as large black feathery wings on his back and a few koi on his calves. His hair is a tan blonde and his eyes resemble freshly turned dirt (a deep brown) ​

History/Backstory (even if it's a brief blurb): Alwin was born in a loving home, his parents, now dead, kindled his love teaching through how they taught him about the world. They gave him the nickname of "Gentle Giant" because he grew so quickly over the years but kept his gentle and shy demeanor. The first time he turned was scary for him, and he panicked, but as he's grown into his "second self" he's a little more comfortable, but he still has some problems with his size. While he loves Nature the smell and knowledge of herbs became natural to him, wanting to learn more about their medicinal properties as well as their more sinister properties. Berries are his favorite to look at, although he's had a few bad run in's with wild creatures than he would like walking off the beaten path.​

Powers/Abilities: (minimal powers. such as the healer numbing the pain at cost of them experiencing it themselves) (preferable to have some sort of drawback along with it.): Illness Detection- Using his sniffer, he can sniff out what type of illness someone may have, helping him figure out which herbs to use to help treat symptoms and the illness. When he does this though the stench of the illness can last a day afterwords though, leaving him defenseless for at least a day depending on the rot of the illness.
Calming Touch- Works best with younger children, but with a calming pet, Alwin can calm down a single person from different emotion. Unfortunately this can also cause him severe anxiety afterwords, which he tries to mask but usually ends with him crying.
Harvest Moon- During ONLY a harvest moon, Alwin's knowledge of plants increases, giving him the ability to find cures on once unknown illness, usually this is during the night and unless he writes it down, which he usually doesn't since he is in dog form, he forgets it the next day.​

Other:
In dog form he tends to sit on people who annoy him as a way to assert himself with his size. He also likes to visit children in this form since it brings smiles and happy thoughts to those who need it in his sphere of influence. During majority of shifts and especially during the harvest moon, he tends to wander the woods, in which during his more human hours he has hiked multiple times on trails.[/COLOR]​

History/Backstory
She's Kind of been on her own her whole life so Mia often finds herself finding others to fit in as her family members. She's often found dragging behind and often dislikes leaving the pack. Once the pack disbands for the day or such she has to find somewhere to stay but dislikes asking because she often feels like a burden or an annoyance, though it's hard to tell with her mostly smiley nature. Mia has found herself in love once, in the end he passed away and since then she's been endlessly searching for someone who fills in her empty spaces.

Powers/Abilities: Minimal emotion control. Negative emotions or ones she isn't experiencing in the moment are harder for her to force upon people and often leave her dizzy or with headaches. Mia often leaves this detail out because she feels bad feeling like she can control a person.
