The kingdoms of Agustar and Merlerion have been at war for generations, few even remember how the war began but in a unending cycle of hate they have found no way to end it. Recently The kingdom of Agustar has been on the backfoot for nearly a generation now and have recently offered pardons to all prisoners of war and criminals alike who join the war and bolster their forces. (You can either be a pardoned criminal, a soldier of either empire, or some unlucky soul dragged into it.)
