Welcome one and all to the Dark Carnival. An immortal performance full of wonders and strange people. Here the young are lured by a strange man with the promise of magic and fun from ages 10 to 19.
We are a family here, lovers possibly. Either way we do what we do to stay alive and have fun all the while.
But seriously don't let this touchy stuff blind you to the horrors that go on inside.
We are murderers after all...But we don't care. We are Demons, spirits, ghouls. ..monsters.
We eat the souls off the innocent to stay strong and to keep our place in the human realm. No one knows where our carnival comes from or where I goes, children in tow. The only gift we leave behind is a large pool of blood. But in this new day and age I believe the humans are catching on so because of this...
there are rules...
1. Do not eat corrupted souls, or else you lose yourself
2. No human under 10 or above 19..don't ask me, it comes from the big man down under.
3. Never leave the carnival
4. Do not interact with humans..that's the ticket takers job.
5. Do not show your true self to the humans before the ritual.
6. Have fun
Side note: all performers have two appearances. Neither are quite "human" but one is much darker..more sinister, their true selves
