Name: The Maori Federation

Location: New Zealand

Population: 5 million

Main resources: Sheep (duh), Iron, Timber, Gold

Current leader: Tane Tui

History: For some reason the British do not make New South Wales (New Zealand) a large scale colony. The closest thing to colonization they do to colonization at first is build trading posts. Eventually (around 1812), The British do decide they want to conquer the Maori. The Maori, however, had Allied with the US. The Maori, which had established themselves as a nation, more similar to The United States' democracy than a bunch of tribals, and with their now mostly westernized technology, where close trade partners with the Americans, who, when the war of 1812 rolled around, aided the Maori out of spite for the British, and their Oceanic interests.

Population:127284685

Main resources: Coal, steel, textiles (British mainland)

Cotton, spices, tea (India)

Current leader: King David the 5th

History(as long or short as you want): The glorious British Empire has had a long history of conquest and wealth, but has declined in recent times. Slowly, they began to lose their colonies, and all they have left is the gem of the British Empire, India. However, the burgeoning war arising gives them a chance to re-establish the Empire Where the Sun Never Sets. They are known for using a heavily mechanized army, owing to their industrial backround.

Army

This section might have to be less complicated, depending on what you guys want. I wanted it to be dynamic and reflect battle and resource management accurately and enjoyably, but it might get too complicated.

Basic troop amount: 2 million

Main gun: Lee Enfield rifle

A brave gentleman that has joined the Royal Exploratory Force to fight for King and Country!

Main details

Name:

German Empire (alternate)

Location(on a map or description):

Germany (1800's), Austria-Hungary, Denmark, East Czechoslovakia

Population: 62,855,704

Main resources: Vehicles, Iron/steel, weapons, Crops, Beer.

Current leader: Otto von Bismarck

History(as long or short as you want): The birth of Germany. From the beginning, Germany was a warring state, uniting the people under its control under one flag. In 1860, Germany invaded Denmark using a method invented by General Weygand called Blitzkrieg. Using this method, they had a shock and awe effect on Denmark and its people, making it an easy and short war. On September 3rd, 1873, Germany moved its troops on the Austria- Hungarian boarder. On September 6th, Germany invaded Austria- Hungary using the same tactic that they used on Denmark. This caused panic on the people and for them to choose sides. Government in Austria-Hungary fell as riots and rebellion against the Austria-Hungarian power started. Many did not die in this country because the Austrian people were happy to be reunited with their German brothers. During the war, Germany also took eastern Czechoslovakia as a reminder to all that we will invade who we want, when we want.
