Set in the 1930s-40s in the heat of ww2. This is a story in the percy jackson universe of what things were like before camp half-blood and the truce between the big 3. The major differences are the fact that Ares is much stronger as are his children. The greek gods are at each others throats, half siding with the Allied forces and half siding with the Axis power. Demigods from all over the world were swept into this war to wage battle on behalf of their divine parents. While others fight against the war as a whole. Who are you in this time period.

(ok you guys this was inspired by both the wonder woman movie and the percy jackson books. We will be playing the roles of the demigod children. Of the greek gods. Some gods side with america and the European countries, and others side with the Nazis and japanese. You can pick for your parents whose side they take. But Ares has no side, Zeus is on the allied side, and Hades on the axis. Aphrodite leads the protests against the war. The others are up for grabs. I intend for this story to develop organically so we can all work on the plot together.​

Personality: Hector is has a light and cheerful personality. He more often than not seems to be at home when talking to people. If left to his own devices he will seek to find others to surround himself with. A social butterfly to be sure, but he does have a pretty rigid moral code and will often go out of his way to see that the good in a situation comes to pass. He wholeheartedly believes that all people have good in them
Bio: Hector was born to Maria crenado, in new york city. He lived a pretty normal life until the age of twelve when his scent drew a minotaur to him. He almost lost his life but his father came and made short work of the beast. He told him exactly who he was, and what needed to be done in order to survive he also gifted him with his first item the cudgel.

In order to keep his mother safe, hector ran away. He lived on park benches and under bridges while he did tasks for the gods of olympus. Slaying monsters, recruiting demigods, and even putting down those who rebelled. He was a stellar soldier for olympus and was rewarded with his second item the sheild, and his third the javalin. Soon he was chosen to train new recruits into olympus's ranks. A task he still carries out to this day.
Powers:
Superhuman Strength- Usually at around 2000lbs his strength raises when he is acting like a hero to a maximum of 100 tons.
Superhuman Endurance- Similar to his strength Hectors stamina and durability increase with his heroic deeds. At their lowest he can take even the heaviest of punches and fight for nearly an hour. At its highest he can withstand being hit by bullets and fight for an entire day.
*Divine items:
The Cudgel - taking the form of a small telescoping billy club. The cudgel is actually made of celestial bronze mixed in with iron. Its virtually unbreakable and has a heafty weight of 30lbs.
The sheilds - each of his gloves are capable of folding out Celestial bronze round sheilds. They have no special properties but he has two of them. When he says "West" his left sheild opens, when he says "East" his right sheild opens.
The javelin - its hidden form is a toothpick that he often holds in his mouth, when he says "Target locked" it transforms into a 6ft javelin which warps back to his hand when he says "Reload".
Skills:
Boxing- what new york boy grows up without learning a thing or two about how to throw a punch.
Cambodian stick fighting- in his travels Hector has stumbled across many different styles of warfare, one of his favorite turned his cudgel from a bludgeoning club, into a refined and dangerous weapon.
Ancient Greecian education - Skilled in the usage of sword, sheild, spear, javelin, club, and armored fighting. In addition to combat strategy and philosophy.

Personality: Paris has always had a "smart mouth", biting off words that were sarcastic and, sometimes, disrespectful. Not only that, but Paris is also VERY stubborn. If he believes that what he's doing is right, and is the best way to do it, then it will get done. Lastly, Paris is somewhat of a loner, as he was raised in the woods of France and didn't have many friends to play with at the time. Nowadays, however, he's learned to become a little more social with the people around him.

Bio: Born in Dijon, France, Paris was the son of Greek God Apollo and a simple woman who worked at a local flower shop. As tradition was though, Apollo could not be present in the boy's life. Instead, Paris was left with his mother and her newfound German boyfriend, who worked for the German government. Otto Kraus, the German step-father, was never abusive or angry to Paris or his mother. Alternatively, he taught Paris how to write, read, and speak in German, while his mother taught him how to speak, write, and read in French. Life was simple and extravagant for the boy; he lived in a big house in the woods, he had a wonderful family, despite his step-father not always being home, and he could explore the world at his own pace.

When war broke out, however, Otto fell into the seduction of Germany's new leader, Adolf Hitler. Now, Otto still remained to be a loving and caring step-father and, now, husband, but what he did was completely wrong. As Germany conquered France, Otto's residence was pardoned, due to Otto working for the Nazi Party. Occasionally, some of the high-ranking Nazis would visit Otto's estate, and both Paris and his mother had to play nice, despite their anger for Otto joining the Nazi ranks. As the war continued on, Paris learned of his Demigod half, from his mother of course, as she was sickened to hear the news of Concentration Camps being established near their house. Quickly, and efficiently, Paris' mother had arranged for Paris to privately learn how to hone his abilities and use his Demigod side for the greater good.

Eventually, Paris did accomplish his training and set out to free those who were captured by the SS and other German troops. In addition, he joined a rebellious group that carried out operations on hitting and destroying Nazi caches, cargo, and camps. While he spent his time in this rebellion, he had encountered a wide variety of different ethnic people. One group in particular being the English. They taught him how to read, write, and speak the English language swiftly. Soon enough, Paris was involved in more and more operations involving the resistance. He even reports to them, feeding them intel on his step-father's plans that he's kept at the house.

• Demigod Physiology: Like every Demigod in history, Paris has a gifted/enhanced physical and mental body. He has enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, stamina, endurance, agility, and durability.
• Light Illumination [PASSIVE] : Paris can emit light from his hands, useful for when he's in a dark area
• Photokinesis: Paris can manipulate/control the light spectrum, mainly to project decoys/distractions
• Acustokinesis: Paris can manipulate/control sound waves, once again, he uses this to primarily distract someone
  • Perfect Pitch [PASSIVE] : Paris can sing and play any instrument wonderfully, at the most perfect sound
• Artistry [PASSIVE] : What? He's gifted at painting, drawing, and other things of that sort...that's completely fine
• Environmental Body Heat: If temperatures turn too cold, or at any given time really, Paris is capable of emitting heat/convert light into heat, though he does rely on some form of light in either case
• Lie Detection: Paris is able to detect if someone is telling the truth or not
• Healing {*}: Paris is capable of healing/curing himself, and others, of disease and other inflicted injuries
• Solar Fist {*}: Able to convert the energy of light into solid matter, Paris will be capable of increasing the density of his punches into much more powerful blows

~ Chaleur de Soleil: A golden sword crafted by Hephaestus himself, Chaleur de Soleil is an Olympian sword that was gifted to Paris by his uncle, at the request of his father. And since the sword is made of Olympian gold, it can withstand immense heating and temperatures, and has godly durability. It's hidden form is a watch, and to activate it's true form, Paris must turn the watch's dial one rotation.

~ Arc d'Apollon: A bow made by Apollo, and gifted to Paris; it's hidden form is a necklace. To activate it's true form, Paris must open the back clasp

Skills:

• Swordplay: Unlike most children of Apollo, Paris is better with a sword than a bow and arrow. That doesn't mean he's horrible with one though
• Philosophical Enlightenment: Thanks to his father being the God of oracles, Paris uses certain mottos, philosophies, and phrases to help enlighten people in stressful, or difficult, times
• Language Capacity: Paris knows how to speak proficiently in German and English, while he keeps his native tongue of French at an advanced level. And due to his Greek heritage, he's able to read, write, and speak Greek...obviously

- Eyes are grey, and framed by square, bronze glasses that appear clownishly large on his face.
- Hair is rusty brown, and grows at odd angles. The effect is comically scruffy.
- Tooth gap between front two teeth.

Personality:
The only thing bigger than Jackie's mouth is his brain, people would say. And the only thing dirtier than his mouth was his brain. And though one of those things has more undesirable connotations, Jackie is just as proud of both of them. That is to say, very proud. Arrogantly, fiercely proud.

Jackie is fierce in everything he does. If he throws himself into an activity, he does so with a passion to win. He is loud, and talks almost non-stop, his words switching rapidly from subject to subject in an almost futile attempt to keep up with the speed of his mind. As such, stuttering and blurred words cannot be prevented. He is a bit of an attention hog, and (as stated before) unfortunately arrogant. That is, until he steps foot on the field. Then he realizes just how woefully unprepared he really is.

Fatal Flaw:
He never knows when to quit.

As opposed to many, Jackie's family was both aware and open about their connections with the Greek gods. They spoke of their ancestors hailing from Ancient Greece, and carrying the magic of faith with them into the following eras. They spoke of Hermes, and his blood flowing through their family. They were viewed as nutjobs, of course, the sort of family you'd cross the street just to avoid.

They knew they were right though. When one day, Jackie arrived on Andrew Macdonald's doorstep with a small, weaved basket and a note explaining everything.

From a very young age, Jackie was hailed as a god himself. He was praised, he was loved, he was very near worshiped in his younger years. And then the training begun. His family knew demigods needed training, needed skills to survive. They lived in Australia, on a large stretch of land, and everyday Jackie would go out to the fields with his father and they would train. Bruises, sweltering heat, confusing Greek sentence structures, uncomfortable swords causing callouses in his hands. Jackie hated it. But no longer was his mere existence enough. He was a demigod, and he was expected to behave as one.

Athena was disgusted. This family who she had praised for their faith were no better than humans always were, and she was so, so disappointed.

When the gods were pulled into the war, the war to end all wars, Jackie went with them. He's still pretty low in the ranks, of course, but he's training and he's waiting with anxious excitement for the day he can prove his worth as a demigod.

Celestial bronze, circular and with a tangle of snakes carved into the front, modeled after the Aegis. It's unbreakable, and can be stored in the form of a bronze and gold wrist-watch. It is tranformed by winding the hour hand, and returned to its tamer state by placing a hand on either side and compressing it. It was a gift from Athena when he agreed to fight for her, and made in Hephaestus' own forges.

Personality: Adam is Cruel and Soulless warrior, nothing is above or beneath him. He is Cold and Calculating never allowing his emotions to blur his judgement. In short he is the perfect soldier.
Side: The Underworld & The Axis powers.

Powers:
Child of war - like all demigods Heir Vichwitz posseses enhanced physical attributes, yet as with most children of ares these are pushed to superhuman extremes due to the scale of the war. They can lift and outrun cars, and even move quickly enough to dodge bullet fire at a range. Most impressive is their weapon mastery which makes any weapon in their hands deadly, and for Adam anything is a weapon.

Flames of war- A rarity amongst children of ares, Adam can produce a blood red flame on himself or his weapons, its consistency is that of blood and it drips like water yet dances like fire. This flame doesnt burn the body, instead it inspires rage, hatred, and blind fury in those it burns.
*Divine items:
Pain & Panic- Gifted to Adam by Hades in return for him and his divine father joining the underworld. These twin weapons change their form to accomodate Adams will. The most common for it takes are twin ruger 9mm pistols, twin short swords, or a spear and sheild. They are made of celestial bronze infused with iron making them deadly to mortal, monster and, demigod.
Skills-
unilateral master of war- Like all ares children Heir vichwitz is a master of all things war related, he excels at strategy, hand to hand combat, stealth, weapon combat, and is proficiant with all forms of weaponry.

Ruthless Leader- the Soldiers that work under Adam know to fear him. He has put his men to death for failure on many occasions, but he knows to keep the demigods of his squad close to him and rarely punishes them with death. When it comes to enemies he is a merciless "take no prisoners" type with mortals, yet he tries to capture demigods and "convert" them.
Extra: One of the most evil bastards you will ever meet this man makes hitler look like a boyscout.

Name: Ley Lockyer

Gender: Male
Sexuality: Ace / Panromantic
God parent: Hermes

Appearance: Ley has curly black hair and olive skin riddled with freckles, his eyes seem to change colours sometimes, but most people would agree on green or dark grey.
He is slim with an athletic build, and altogether a fairly good looking chap.

Personality: Ley is very quick on his feet, both literally and figuratively. He has learned early on that he had to look out for himself and the best way to do that is to be faster than the people who are out there to get him. He is very easy going, the kind of guy who can talk to anyone without problem. He has long mastered the ability to talk an awful lot and not reveal anything important .

He has no problem on doing a little Robin Hood-ing and taking money from people he judges need it less than others. He has a tendency to join in card games and bets, he sees it as a personal challenge to his luck and often tries to push it to see with how much he can get away with, needless to say, that doesn't always work out for him.

He does have a mischievous streak, although usually it's just a harmless prank or some silly jokes, it's always better to watch yourself around him.

Side: Depends on who's asking.

Fatal flaw: Deep down he doesn't trust anyone but himself.

He has a pair of magic die he got from his father. Although he can't really see the future, with these dice he can predict small events (with some room for misinterpretation, which is why he doesn't rely on them very often).

Skills:

• Invisibility ( not really, but he knows how to mingle quickly and is very good at passing unnoticed )
• Silvertongue ( the kid sure can weave a tale. He will start a conversation and by the end of it you can be trading him your valuables for a couple of pebbles. He is /very/ convincing. )
• Ley Lining ( He has a strengthened natural intuition to sensing places of power, and knowing to which gods they belong. )
• He can also pick up other languages really quickly, often after a couple of days in a different country he will be already learning some of the slang. He is fluent, in English, French, German (being able to pass as a native in any of these), Italian and Greek. He knows a bit of Japanese, Russian and is working on getting the hang of Chinese.
• Ley can sing fairly well and is very handy with a fiddle. If that talent is or is not related to his father's gifts no one really knows but he sure can warm up a night with celtic songs from his motherland.

Extra:

• He cares for children and animals very deeply (specially urchins/war orphans and homeless animals). And often tries to help them out somehow.
• He can't stay on a place for very long without feeling extremely restless. He just needs to keep moving, or else who knows what will caught up to him.
• Ley is definitely a Flight over Fight kind of character, he tries the best he can to avoid getting in a fight, but that doesn't mean in any way he can't be (and isn't for the most time) a major prick.
