A Campfire at the End of Time
This roleplay is less fantasy and more modern, as it is set in Modern-day Earth. The role play will be set around our characters, who are all Government experiments involved in a Top-Secret project to genetically engineer super soldiers, by means of DNA-splicing, etc, operated by a corporation known simply as GenCorp hired by the Millitary. Basically, a crew of teenagers with super-powers escaping form a Labratory and trying to hide form the Government. The RP has no goal other than survive, really, and perhaps expose the evils committed by GenCorp and their Millitary backers. This roleplay would only have "magic" in the form of people's powers, and other races in the form of mutations. Some of the RP would occur in the labs before the escape.

Project Evolve has been going exactly as planned. The test subjects were successfully acquired and brought to the Facility. In the search for the perfect Super Soldier, our leading Bio-Engineers and DNA Specialists have been compiling and splicing together a few DNA strains that could help us create the perfect fighting machine for whatever needs our Millitary requires them for. The power we are working with here is simply astounding. The subjects have been hooked up in the Tubes, filled with a water-like substance that we have created here in the Lab with unique healing properties, incase anything were to.. go wrong with the Subjects, and they might require healing without Lab Employees. Everything shall proceed as planned.

It has been more than a month since I have last made an entry in this journal, as I have not had much to report, but today, we have made a breakthrough! A few of our Subjects are showing signs of change. Of course, there are a few Duds that will be properly disposed of, but the ones who show change are showing it rather.. exponentially. With our great leap forward in the field of Bio-Engineering, we will be paving a new road into the future! And of course, provide the Millitary with the perfect soldiers. Once the initial Subjects are thoroughly tested with, the Subjects that show promise will have their specific DNA modification mass-produced, so that more Soldiers of their type may be made.

Our efforts have all lead to this. The Subjects are ready, and prepared for Full Testing. Today, they will be let out of the Tubes, and led into the Containment area of the Facility, where each Subject shall have a Cell. Throughout our testing, there were Eleven total Duds, who have been properly disposed of. It is a tragedy that their Strands did not work, and the proper modifications shall be made to ensure they will work when tested again on a new batch of Subjects.

Subjects have adjusted to one another, and seem to be interacting well enough, despite a few... emotional issues. But they are priceless pieces of our research, and precautions have been taken to prevent any of them from harming one another. Each has learned and adapted to their new abilities well enough. Soon, training and education shall begin, and our prototypes will be sent out into the Field for their Official Testing.
