diversity is great! if you see a bunch of female characters have already been accepted, don't make more as chances are I will be only accepting males to balance everything out
remember that your character has just graduated university. in their 'history' make sure to include what they are considering doing next in their life
your character is not guaranteed to be accepted. character sheets that are fully filled out and are detailed will be accepted

riley was born in melbourne into a rather wealthy and successful family. her parents ran a real estate agency under the name of 'king real estate'. riley has two older brothers, dylan and mason. as the baby of the family, riley had a lot to live up to. dylan, who is now twenty eight, was the top of his class and eventually went on to become a lawyer. mason, who is now thirty one, studied engineering and is now working with the australian government to create new technologies to help support the public. the five member family lived in a rather fancy penthouse in downtown melbourne.

with such successful people around her, riley was expected to do great things. she was put in sports at a young age, beginning with swimming and soccer and eventually moving on to horseback riding. riley also went to a private school and was considered a 'gifted' student. while her parents were not strict about who riley spent her time with, she rarely had time to stop and make friends. riley was seen as too stiff and much too mature to be a part of the social groups in her school. she rarely even bothered with attempting to make friends outside of the girls on her sports teams.

during riley's final year of high school, her parents became increasingly difficult on her. they wanted her to go to law school like her brother and help out the family company. however, she didn't want that. as her parents became more overbearing, she pushed back more and more against their ideals and wishes. eventually, she received an email from new york university stating that they were interested in bringing her on board with a scholarship due to her phenomenal grades and athletic achievements. she immediately sent in an application to their biomed program, hoping to be able to eventually continue her studies and become a doctor.

riley enjoyed going to university, despite having her parents constantly breathing down her neck. especially after meeting her five best friends, riley fit in right away. she excelled in her academics and joined the varsity volleyball team. riley graduated at the top of her class with an undergraduate degree in biomed. it was shortly after she graduated that she received a letter of offer from Oxford for their medical school graduate program. this is the opportunity of her dreams but there are a few things in her way. should she return home to her family, should she chase her academic dreams and leave everyone behind, or should she finally admit that her academics aren't everything and that the most important thing in her life are those around her that she loves?

He is a major foody but not for refined dishes rather takeout and all their unhealthy goodness. If you were to buy him pizza he would probably hug you the whole time he ate it. He tries to hide how he feels even to his friends as he doesn't want to bother them. Jean is someone who just wants to be held when they are upset, though he would never say or ask anyone to do this.

Jean was born in Quebec to a German mother and French Canadian father. His primary language is French, he started to learn English in school when he was ten. Jean's mother was born in Italian but raised in Quebec after they moved for her fathers work. She never speaks Italian unless with her parents, as a result of Jean only speaks basic Italian. He has a younger sister named Rose who he argues with all the time. When he was thirteen his father was diagnosed with cancer. His mother had to take on more work for them to keep up with bills and Jean silently repressed his emotions.

As his dad got worse so did his families financial strain. The piano lessons he was taking since he was five stopped, Rose wasn't allowed to go shopping with friends anymore, and when it became clear their father was most likely never leaving the hospital, they moved to a small apartment. By fifteen his father was barely hanging on. Jean practiced piano by watching videos online and snuck drinks of hard liquor when his mother wouldn't notice. This soon became routine, even after his dad died. Jean quickly found comfort in the bottle, he never missed a party and would often be gone for days before returning home.

During this time he kept his grades up. Focusing on something other than the world around him allowed him to escape. He didn't care it was homework, he was just glad to think about something normal. Oddly enough his drinking and partying slowed down when he started college. After the first semester, he started seeing a therapist, though he stopped going after three months. He put all his effort into studying and his friends only occasionally drinking when his depression is bad enough. With a clear goal of his future in mind, he finds the uncontrollable thoughts happening less. Jean hopes to get a job at the CSA like his father. While his father was an astrophysics Jean studied to become a astronautical engineering as he finds it interesting to figure out how things can and will work if different environments.

Jean was born in Quebec to a German mother and French Canadian father. His primary language is French, he started to learn English in school when he was ten. Jean's mother was born in Italian but raised in Quebec after they moved for her fathers work. She never speaks Italian unless with her parents, as a result of Jean only speaks basic Italian. He has a younger sister named Rose who he argues with all the time. When he was thirteen his father was diagnosed with cancer. His mother had to take on more work for them to keep up with bills and Jean silently repressed his emotions.

As his dad got worse so did his families financial strain. The piano lessons he was taking since he was five stopped, Rose wasn't allowed to go shopping with friends anymore, and when it became clear their father was most likely never leaving the hospital, they moved to a small apartment. By fifteen his father was barely hanging on. Jean practiced piano by watching videos online and snuck drinks of hard liquor when his mother wouldn't notice. This soon became routine, even after his dad died. Jean quickly found comfort in the bottle, he never missed a party and would often be gone for days before returning home.

During this time he kept his grades up. Focusing on something other than the world around him allowed him to escape. He didn't care it was homework, he was just glad to think about something normal. Oddly enough his drinking and partying slowed down when he started college. After the first semester, he started seeing a therapist, though he stopped going after three months. He put all his effort into studying and his friends only occasionally drinking when his depression is bad enough. With a clear goal of his future in mind, he finds the uncontrollable thoughts happening less. Jean hopes to get a job at the CSA like his father. While his father was an astrophysics Jean studied to become a astronautical engineering as he finds it interesting to figure out how things can and will work if different environments.
