  The world
  
  
  The world of Lorem is a diverse, beautiful landscape - snowy peaks in the north, blistering deserts along it's equator and magical forests covering it all over. It has a single large continent - with many small islands dotting off around it. Each section of the continent has a name, a culture and many important features (see the "World in detail" tab).
  
  
  The Trimalchian Empire
  
  

  This world was once a land of hundreds of kingdoms - with cultures as diverse as their lands. However this all changed when the Holy Trimalchian Empire arose. They were ruthless - crushing kingdom after kingdom, raping their women and pillaging their lands. With every land they conquered they grew stronger, until their military was the largest of any nation in the world. They cared not for the cultures they destroyed or the wrecks they left behind - the empire only cared for itself. Rather than conquer other kingdoms it simply razed them to the ground - building their own cities and towns and worshiping their own deities rather than allowing free religion to roam. The empire arose in the east and so the westernmost kingdoms have been left all but untouched

  
  
  
  The Last Hope
  
  

  The Empire arose from the east and although it now covers the majority of the world - 4 kingdoms have been untouched by it's wrath. Unfortunately one of these is next in line to fall to the empire - Lithinia . In preparation for this event the Council of Harashia - the country bordering Lithinia - has called a meeting of all the civilizations not yet under the control of the empire. They do this in an attempt to halt the progress of the empire and eventually send an army against them to reclaim the lands. Each kingdom has sent at least one diplomat, prince, general or tactician to this meeting in hopes that they can agree. If they fail however - Lithinia will fall and the rest of the world will likely follow.

  The Trimalchian Empire
  
  
  The Holy Trimalchian Empire is a fierce and warlike people - they hail from the eastern-most land of the continent - a tribal land where power changes hands faster than you can blink. Their leader - Korlear - is a brutal and strong man - taking the strongest of all the tribes and subjugating all others. Uniting the East under a single banner in what can only be seen as an impossible feat. He then turned his eyes to the west - he knew his united east would collapse in on itself without a new enemy to face. They rampaged through the center of the continent - gaining power as they did so. Currently the largest faction in the world by both landmass, population and troops. Because of this however they have compromised their culture - their soldiers lack training and they win simply by force of numbers and ferocity alone.
  
  
  They possess 1.2 million warriors
  
  
  
  The Royal Kingdom of Lithinia
  
  
  The last kingdom to be ruled by a monarch and a paragon of tradition and virtue. The Lithinians are a people who are based around conserving what they consider to be 'the best way'. This has led to them being considered rather backwards by other nations however has also allowed them to become the best in the world at certain aspects. Their cavalry and knights are peerless and their tacticians are second-to-none. The pride of Lithinia is it's royal family - they have ruled for generations and their control is absolute. The history of Lithinia is somewhat stagnant - the last major power struggle having been against a nation that no longer exists. Whilst Lithinia is currently the smallest of the nations in the world its art, politics and military skill far outshine its mere size. What they lack in land they more than make up for in skill, tact and refinement.
  
  
  They posess 200,000 warriors. 1000 cavalry and 300 knights.
  
  
  
  The Republic of Harashia
  
  
  The Republic of Harashia moves forward faster than you can blink. They are innovators and a land of fierce competition and unrivaled opportunity. Truly anyone can make it in Harashia - provided they are intelligent, cunning or strong enough to ascend. Because of their technological nature the Harashians are the only nation at present to possess the weaponry and infantry to field gun-wielding troops. These weapons however are clunky and difficult to handle so the people skilled enough to use them are few and far between - the nation possesses only 100 troops capable and armed to use this weaponry. The strength of Harashia is it's innovation - entering an age of steam and gears when the rest of the world are still inventing the crossbow. Harashia is ruled by a council - either voted in by existing members or allowed to enter by the people of Harashia electing them.
  
  
  They possess 350,000 warriors, 100 special gun wielding troops.
  
  
  
  The Forests of the Auraie
  
  
  The Auraie are a peaceful peoples by nature - content to simply relax and enjoy life in their glades. This peaceful nature should not be confused with a lack of ability to fight however. The Auraie are the last of their kind - wiccans and warlocks of great power roam their forests and it is through this that they have existed so harmoniously with their surroundings.Currently only 3 of the magical bloodlines still exist however their heirs are magic users of incredible power. The magic they use typically consists of sigils and symbols etched into wood and steel - giving it incredible properties - a wiccan or warlock given a piece of chainmail for an hour can make it light as air and stronger than the toughest steel. This is why the Auraie's warriors are considered to be so formidable however are so rare. A fully equipped Auraie warrior can take as much as a year to equip and at least 4 years to train in the use of their equipment.
  
  
  They possess 7,500 troops, 3 warlocks/wiccans.
  
  
  
  The Blaterae Co-alition
  
  
  This is not so much a nation as a group of allied islands. The Blaterae co-alition owns the seas - literally in many cases, they were an incredibly wealthy nation before the Empire's rise - every trade over water had to pay tribute or risk getting raided. After the Empire arose they lost much of their wealth and they now strive to get it back. The Blaterae are led by a group of 5 - one representative from each major island. They are purely motivated by money and the empire's rise has angered them greatly. Always seeking a profit the co-alition is also aware of it's need to ally with these nations to avoid complete destruction. The Blaterae are - in the most common sense - pirates. Their troops - if you can call them that - benefit greatly from this, they are well equipped with stolen technology and weapons, they have fought for their entire lives in a world that only allows the strongest to survive. They also enjoy the benefit of sea support - they can call in cannon fire from the water using flares and any battle that takes place next to the sea is theirs to win.
  
  
  They possess 40,000 troops (split into roughly 1,500 - 2000 crews) and 3000 ships
