*Clears throat loudly*

Like most stories start, the morning sun slowly rises in the sky, signaling the new day for not only the citizens of Vale,  but for the new batch of First-Years down at Good ol' Beacon academy! Yes, THE Beacon academy. This school is home to ones of potential, talent, and/or skill. It's known for its mysterious headmaster and prestigious educational system. And it's known for its diversity in not only race, but the creativity of the students as well. Ah, yes. With all these great qualities, you'd assume Beacon was a school of practical perfection.

...But even a school such as this can make mistakes. Simple mistakes. Such as the miscounting of the very students who attend. And due to this miscount, Headmaster Ozpin had no choice but to create a five man team in order to avoid denying the youth their chance to shine. And once again, another mistake was made. This mistake had led to the creation of the most dysfunctionally dynamic team remnant has ever known...

"RISE AND SHINE, FELLOW TEAMATES!"

Team VALLU.

Virgo June Capri, the 4'8 ball of bubbly righteous JUSTICE and the leader of the team, flailed the cowbell in his hands wildly to awaken his new team and possible new friends. He just couldn't believe it! He was actually at Beacon! The dream school to help him achieve his dream job that'll help him acheive his dream goal! And what's more, he had not three, but four people to befriend and have fun with as well! He couldn't mess this up! Especially not when people were counting on him to lead his team to JUSTICE! Which was why he used the Room kitchen to cook breakfast!

It was a good thing Ozpin had given them a bigger room, otherwise, things would've been cramped! It had five beds, a kitchen, a big TV, a nice bathroom, and-GAH! He just loved everything about today! And it'll be even better when they wake up! "Come on, Team! You don't want your pancakes to get cold, do you?! A warm meal is crucial before going out to uphold JUSTICE, after all!" He said, pointing to the plate with the large tower of pancakes next to the glasses of orange juice and scented candle for that morning affect! (Note to Danchou: You didn't think You'd be the only parent, did you? >W>)

The concept of waking up in a comfortable bed, surrounded by friends and people she could trust, was an extinct concept to Lily Underworld, Grimm-Human Hybrid, and one of the "l" people in the team. In other words she had stayed up late, her eyes wide in absolute shock. Just yesterday she had been assigned a team, only one person being someone she actually knew from before.

One dark red eye opened at the sound of an energetic voice, that of the boy who called himself "Virgo", someone whose morals appeared set on justice. The girl sat up, blinking and taking in the sunlight. Her stitches were mostly covered by a long, vintage pink nightdress. Her hair was actually brushed.

What the fuck was this bullshit? Sighing again, she stretched her wings, nearly slapping Virgo in the face, but luckily stopped herself from doing so. He had proven himself tolerable. And hyperactive. Too hyperactive. The Grimm hybrid groaned sleepily as he shouted, covering her ears.

"Pancakes? Wha?" she grumbled, standing up. Her wings got stuck between her and someone else's bed; the woman cursed, turning herself sideways, which resulted in her slapping herself in the face. After several failed attempts to get her wings through the space between beds, Lily groaned irritably and folded them, storming over to where Virgo was. At six foot eight, she towered over him easily. "Fooooooooood...." Lily whispered, unaware of her facial expression (scary as fuck) as she glared down at Virgo. The beast was hungry.

@~SpicyCinnyRollSenpai @CelticHero37 @Danchou Tsubomi @Pyosimros

Hearing movement, Virgo excitedly turned to the source to find that it was the girl named Lily! Virgo gave her a big smile. Apparently, she seemed to be one of those big grumpy type of people, but that's OK! With some pancakes, a nice glass of OJ, and an epic day of JUSTICE, she'll be SUPER DUPER happy! Just thinking about seeing her smiling face gave him a feeling of joy, which soon turned to awe at the sight of her outstretched feathered appendages. Wow! He'd never seen a bird faunus before! Beacon was just full of new experiences!

With the same big smile, he watched her stand up. He giggled to himself when she struggled to get her wings out from the beds. Soon after, she managed to get out and made her way over, causing Virgo's smile to widen as he craned his neck up to look up into her eyes. Most would be rather afraid facing an aggressive red-eyed huntress-in-training, especially if they were 4'8 compared to her 6'8 frame, but not Virgo! JUSTICE always saw past the bad and focused on the good!

...Which was why he hugged one of her legs.

"GOOOOD MORNING, LILY!" He greeted happily, not hearing her whisper. He looked up at her while still clinging to her leg like a child would to his mother. "Did ya sleep well? Were you comfy? Did you have a bad dream? Are you excited about today? Cause I am! A whole day of cool fun classes to enjoy! Can you believe it?!" He rambled, once again, while still hugging her leg, legs now wrapped around it. He couldn't stop talking! This was just too exciting! "Are you hungry! I hope you are! Because there's a big plate of pancakes and syrup in the kitchen! Enough for everyone to have five! I made it myself!" And once again, he was back to rambling.

Ayla Ciel

All was peaceful in the room of Team VALLU. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse...

"Zzzz Beowolf you're so zzzz fluffy..."

Ayla slept with a bright smile, hugging her pillow tightly as she whispered a plethora of weird sentences related to her dreams. Ayla dreamt of cuddling with a pack of grimm; whether it be a griffon, beowolf, or ursa, the species did not matter. As long as it bore feathers or fur, they were including in her dream.

"Zzz oh Mr. Nevermore thaaank you for making us all tea..."

"RISE AND SHINE, FELLOW TEAMMATES!!!"

"W-What!?" Ayla's body shot upwards from her bed, breaking away from her pleasant dream. Her eyes shot from one end to another - an examination of any form of attacker present in the room. There was no attacker, rather there was a bright boy ringing a cow bell as if it were the only thing he knew how to do. Ayla was an early riser, yet compared to Virgo, there was no competition.

"Come on, Team! You don't want your pancakes to get cold, do you?! A warm meal is crucial before going out to uphold JUSTICE, after all!"

Once Virgo had mentioned pancakes, Ayla sniffed the air around her like a wolf looking for prey. Mmm... Candles and pancakes, she smiled, shifting her gaze towards their meal. It looked...surprisingly edible. Expecting a burnt mess, this meal was a wonderful substitute.

"Uggghhh good morning Virgo," she grumbled, still shaken from her morning grogginess. Ayla swung her feet to the left, reaching a sitting position before standing up and going for a stretch soon after. "And good morning to you too, Lily..."

Ayla gripped onto any hair on her face and moved them backwards, providing herself with full visibility of the area ahead. Prepared to begin her morning routine, Ayla made a bee-line towards the bathroom. "I'm brushing my teeth and getting ready first, don't disturb," she stated rather simply, slamming the door behind her.

Uriel

Uriel stepped out of the the kitchen wearing a full-body apron over his coat and carrying a large steaming platter with eggs, sausage, assorted fruits, and... more pancakes. as he set the large platter down, he addressed Virgo in a rather emotionless tone, "For the future, the only ones who would be positively affected by that vociferous cowbell would likely have been awake long before you used it."

Then, turning to Lily, he picked up a strawberry with a fork and shoved it into her mouth witht a completely straight face before adding, "Judging from this one's expression, we might need to ration the food."

Lily stumbled upon feeling a weight on her leg; the small leader of Team VALLU hugging her leg. She attempted to shake him off as he spoke, babbling on and on about simple things that she never bothered questioning. Shit like how she slept, nightmares that she had, et cetera. Lily felt tempted to curse at Virgo, but just looking at the chubby kid fully attaching himself to her leg now, rambling nonstop, she just....didn't have the heart. Lily sighed, giving up on being able to pry him off of her, instead hobbling to where her suitcase was to grab some sort of scarf to cover her face. Lily had always hated her facial appearance the most; she was covered in ugly stitches, scars, and the like. Her eyes were probably the most prominent feature, and they were an ugly shade of red.

"I slept fine. No dreams," she said automatically, nodding as Ayla, another team member, walked by, then slammed the bathroom door. "Fine, but I call dibs for next shower," she Grimm Hybrid called after her, beginning to hobble to the kitchen while beginning to put on the scarf to cover her face. Only for another one of their team members to walk in and address Virgo.

"For the future, the only ones who would be positively affected by that vociferous cowbell would likely have been awake long before you used it," The guy said. Lily scrunched up her nose; she already didn't like him. Then he speared a strawberry and stuffed it into her mouth. Now, Lily had been around enough to know that if someone force-feeds you something, it's not a good sign, so, an untrusting look in her eyes forming, she took the fork out. Then he continued.  "Judging from this one's expression, we might need to ration the food."

Excuse me? A dark tinge developed on Lily's face; she cocked a brow, then, with a deadpan look, unfolded her wings, using the left one to slap this guy in the face. "Judging from your expression, you might need to shut the fuck up and stay away from me, creep," she retaliated, pulling her scarf on to cover her face better. "And don't talk to the team leader that way. He may be younger than us, but he's the fucking leader here, so he should be treated with the most respect. Got it, buddy?"

     Liadan suddenly appeared.

"...good morning," she said, apparently already prepared for the day ahead of her. Glancing at Uriel and Lily, Liadan sat down at the table. Her usual expression made it look like she was telling them that they were in the wrong side of town without saying a word. But all she wanted to do was have some pancakes. "...let's eat." It was hard to tell what had just happened, considering that she just got back to the room, but it wasn't hard to tell that there was tension in the air. Whenever her siblings got into fights, Liadan would pratically shove food in their mouths to distract them from fighting each other. While Liadan could do that, it was probably better to just have them sit and eat themselves. After all, who wants to fight when a good meal is right in front of them?   "Thanks for the food. I appreciate it."

Team VALLU was a group of...unique individuals, to say the least. But they were her team. Anyone who tried to do anything to her team would-

She grabbed a plate and started adding food to it, only grabbing a little bit due to not really having to eat much in general.

Uriel

Uriel wasn't phased by Lily's reaction at all. That is, until she slapped him and managed to knock the fedora off his head, exposing his lush golden locks to the world. A strange tension built in the air as Uriel's bangs fell over his eyes, blocking the death glare on his face. His hand slowly began to pull his coat to the side, revealing his Katana resting harmlessly in his sheath. His other hand gravitated toward the hilt. Then, in a sudden flash of movement, he grabbed the hilt, whipped the sword out of it's sheath and swiped just above Lily's head, so close that the air could be felt from the strike. Then, before anyone could register what happened, the sword was back in its sheath. Picking up the fedora and placing it back on his head, giving it a slight tilt at the end, he explained his actions in one simple response, "Spider... buddy." As Liadan entered, Uriel returned the greeting with the same expressionless tone and moved aside to allow her to access the food.

Virgo's ramblings were cut short when Lily had began to move, causing him to giggle with a snort as he found himself traveling on Lily's leg. This was actually kinda fun! Watching Lily hobble to the suitcase, he observed as she rummaged through before pulling out a... Scarf. Virgo tilted his head at this. Lily seemed to be pretty fashionable, at least, to his knowledge, but of all the pretty clothes she might have, why a scarf? It was pretty, sure, but it was such a perfect day out! Why need a scarf when there's no rain or snow? He watched a stitch that crossed his vision quickly get covered, causing him to blink.

...Was there something Lily wasn't telling him?

Virgo pouted at that thought, thinking it through as Lily hobbled around  even more...only to gasp in delight when he saw that Ayla had awoken. "GOODMORNINGHAVEANICESHOWER!" He said quickly before she shut the door. Soon after one teammate, another had walked from the kitchen, plates of food in tow. Virgo blinked in confusion. When did he wake up? At Uriel's words, Virgo snorted and gave the man a smile. "But cowbells are just so fun to ring!" He said back, still clinging to Lily's leg. It was then he watched the man shove a strawberry into  Lily's mouth...

And watched with wide eyes as Lily smacked Uriel with a wing.

Virgo, mouth agape, listened to Lily's response and flinched at her wording. He had never used swears in his life, and he rarely ever heard one. At the leader part, he began to sweat. Th-This was bad. He didn't want to be half the reason for the argument! In fact, he didn't want the argument to happen at all! He opened his mouth, ready to try and quell the situation, but before he could, a quick response from Uriel...or rather, Uriel's sword, stopped him. Virgo began to shake. Distraction! He needed a distraction!

And then Liadin appeared.

"GOOD MORNING!" Virgo greeted and hopped off Lily's leg, plopping himself down in a seat next to Liadin. "Look, friends! Liadin, our valuable teammate who's ferocious hunger and physical well-being we should focus on more than arguing, is awake!" He said, petting Liadin's green hair.

@FemTheHufflepuffRabbit @CelticHero37 @Pyosimros @Danchou Tsubomi

Lifting her head up, Liadan chewed on a piece of toast. She didn't know why her hair was being petted, but it looked like Virgo was in a good mood. So it was all right, then. It wasn't like she minded. "...it's good to wake up early in the morning." The sun slowly poked its head up in the distance. Its light poured in through the window. Glancing at Uriel and Lily again, she took a sip of orange juice, and tilted her head. In a joking tone, Liadan said, "If you don't eat, I am fine with eating your breakfasts. Anything to sate my...ahem..." Liadan cleared her throat and spoke in a serious-sounding voice, "...my 'ferious hunger.'"

...To anyone who didn't really know Liadan, her voice would sound like she was threatening everyone in the room. For some reason, people have the tendency to think she's bad news. Which was strange. It didn't make sense, considering how she acted, though appearances can make anyone look intimidating enough. "...Don't worry, I won't actually eat your food, but we should all eat up while it's still hot." A small smile grew on her face as she enjoyed her breakfast.

Lily was already in a fighting stance when Uriel swung his sword above her head. Her wings dropped to the ground quickly, but he had managed to take off a few feathers. She watched in slight horror as the black-and-red speckled plumage fell to the ground, almost in slow motion. All because of his tacky hat. Lily stared at Uriel, obviously angered, especially when the only thing he said was "spider".

The woman's blood boiled in anger; her fists clenched, but she took a deep breath and tried to drop it, especially upon seeing Liadan staring at her like she was some sort of criminal—well, actually, she was an illegal experiment, which made her a second-degree criminal—and Virgo hastily changing the subject. The Grimm Hybrid shot a glance at the man, then seated herself across from Liadan and Virgo, trying to relax her tensed shoulders. Then she stared at the food. She had thought that he was joking. Lily remained silent for a good thirty seconds, just looking at the food as though she had never seen a pancake in her life.

"This isn't breakfast," she finally was able to choke out, grabbing a plate and taking two pancakes, a large amount of fruit, and three strips of bacon, then rather ravenously eating the pancakes. Lily's eyes went even wider, probably an overreaction to eating pancakes. "This is a feast."

Ayla Ciel

Within a room whose walls are paper thin, the commotion Ayla heard was worrisome. Hearing the soft unfolding of wings, a swish of a weapon and worst of all, cursing in front of Virgo, Ayla attempted finish her morning routine with much more speed. Brushing her teeth, doing her hair and applying a minimal amount of makeup took roughly half the time it normally should - all fueled by the worries of her teammates murdering each other. Liadan was likely present near the kitchen and fully alert; if a conflict were to break out, she would stop it, yet Ayla needed to be there for extra support.

Practically kicking the door open and rushing towards the dining table, she was met with an objectively calm set of individuals. Lily seemed to be rather angry at something for a few short seconds, until suddenly turning rather calm.

"Phew, glad nothing happened..." she whispered to herself, plopping down onto a chair. Without a pause, Ayla proceeded to shovel food down her mouth as quickly and politely as she could, all the while thanking any individual involved in the cooking process.

Virgo began to sweat as he gave Lily a glance, watching her shake in anger. Hearing something from Liadan, he turned to her and tilted his head at her response. He snickered at her joke and nearly laughed aloud at her serious facade, managing to momentarily forget the situation at hand. Liadan was such a funny teammate! And her green-hair was as soft as a pillow. He could just pet it forever...and ever...and ever. Virgo felt himself slowly going into a trance when stroking her hair, causing him to quickly shake his head and look toward Lily and Uriel.

eHe watched with great pride as Lily had let it all go, choosing to just sit down and enjoy her food, despite some lack of Manners. He didn't care what people said, Lily was a good person! And in the rare case she wasn't, she was certainly trying to be! He looked at Uriel, thinking the man was the same case as well. Virgo inwardly promised that he'd get him to at least smile in the name of JUSTICE! And then Alya came, sitting down an enjoying her food as well. She seemed to be an individual who liked JUSTICE almost as much as him...

ALMOST.

With a sigh of delight, Virgo looked at his team from his chair, feeling his smile slowly grow wider and wider. He still couldn't believe this was happening. He was at Beacon, He was gonna be a hunter, and he was sharing this epic experience with these good people. He sighed in contempt and grabbed a pancake, nibbling into it. Aaaah. The perfect team of JUSTICE! As he nibbled, he blinked as an odd feeling rose in his chest. He stopped nibbling and looked around. Shrugging, he went back to nibbling on his pancake. And then the feeling came back again, this time, even stronger. He frowned and scratched his chin. Something didn't feel right...it was as if...as if...

They were forgetting something.

Jumping from his chair and going to his bed, he went under his bed and pulled out a large black book named 'THE JUSTICE SCHEDULE' and threw it on his bed. Humming, he opened it and flipped it to the current date, looking at the schedule for today. Let's see, 'Wake up', 'Take shower','Get Dressed', 'Do Daily JUSTICE pose warm-ups', 'Make Breakfast, 'Wake-up teammates', 'Converse and hug with all teammates', 'Go to first class at 8:50', 'Hug teammates during cla-' WAIT A MINUTE! ...He didn't hug Uriel, Liadan, and Ayla yet! He turned to the table. "Hey, Liadan! Could you come here for a se-WAIT A MINUTE!" He jumped up and frantically ran to his team. "Guys! We have to get to Grimm studies class at 9:00 and its 8:50!" He quickly turned around and pointed skyward. "TEAM VALLU! Operation get ready and get to class in ten minutes is ago! LET'S DO THIS!"

Five minutes later...

In the dorm halls, multiple students slowly wandered out of their room at the strange sounds going on in the room just at the end of the hall known as Room '666'. Donkey sounds, chicken clucks, Jack-Hammers, and a spring could be heard from just behind the door, with a high-pitched voice yelling out hurried commands that sounded more like polite requests. One brave soul slowly walked up to the door while sweating and looked to his teammates. After a few hushed whispers, the boy gulped and slowly raised a fist to the door...

Only to get slammed into the wall by said door suddenly opening, A dwarf in a cape and his Beacon uniform with his foot up being seen in the doorway by various spectators. "IT IS TIME FOR A NEW DAY, TEAM! A NEW DAY OF JUSTICE!" He shouted, only to blink when he heard a groan. Looking to the right, he flinched at the fallen soul. "Uriel...can you remind me to make apology cake later?" He whispered to the man before clearing his throat. "TEAM VALLU! MOVE OUT!" And then he ran down the hall and to the left...

Only to quickly run to the right, having took the wrong way. "JUSTIIIIIIICE!"

@FemTheHufflepuffRabbit @CelticHero37 @Pyosimros @Danchou Tsubomi

Uriel

Uriel picked up his backpack and leaned against the wall next to the door with his hat pulled over his eyes as the others finished getting ready. As they left the room, he took his place at the back of the group. He was a stoic, hulking contrast to the spastic leader of theirs. The act of Virgo bursting through the door was a little unnerving, but he didn't show it. The knob on the opposite side of the door likely left a mark in the wall.

To his surprise, there was no mark on the wall. Instead there was a student. When Virgo asked for the reminder, Uriel grabbed his leader's shoulder and stated, "You need to make an apology cake later."

Then he pulled out a pencil and pad of sticky notes from his coat and wrote, 'Virgo owes you an apology cake later' on it. He slapped it to the kid's forehead before joining back up with his team. After a moment, he halted again, looked over his shoulder, and dashed back to the kid. Reaching up, he adjusted the orientation of the sticky note ever so slightly before zipping back to the group.

@~SpicyCinnyRollSenpai @CelticHero37 @Pyosimros @Danchou Tsubomi

Shortly after the dwarf came running out of dorm room 666, those at the door were next greeted by a terrifyingly tall woman who looked suspiciously like a Grimm, who meandered out in her uniform, though she appeared to be hiding as much skin as possible, seeing as both legs were covered by stockings, she was wearing knee-high socks, and half her face and her neck were covered by a scarf. That and her skin was grey and the parts that were visible were stitched up. The students who hadn't been pinned to the wall by the door received a death glare from this strange woman (which to Lily, was actually the equivalent to a casual glance). Two students, alarmed, pointed their weapons at her.

"....The fuck are you doing." Lily cocked a brow; the trembling kids raised their weapons even higher. Lily continued to stare at them, then, realizing what they were doing, walked away, her response to that being a middle finger. Jeez. Soon she caught up with Virgo, following him down the halls like some sort of bodyguardish figure. Her expression clearly read "hurt him and I kill you". Though honestly the thoughts going through her head were much different.

Grimm Studies. Sounds fun. And like an easy "A". I swear, if they mention me, I'm gonna scream. Luckily, those pancakes were good. I'm actually kind of happy for once. I shall now proceed to stay near this munchkin and hope that he gives me more good food. Trust. Trust. I trust. This kid is nice. He must give me more food like that. Respect earned. Yay.

Liadan almost looked like a different person in uniform. She looked a lot kinder when dressed up nicely, though had her uniform unbuttoned and her hoodie wrapped around her waist.  Their classmates were staring at Lily and Liadan wasn't certain on why. Maybe they liked her scarf. It looked nice, so she couldn't blame them. Twirling her dagger-guns for fun, Liadan said, "Good morning," but the classmates who were already frightened by Lily just standing there took this trick as a threat and ran off. Huh, that's weird. Guess they don't want to be late for class. Hopefully they would do well in class since they were so focused on their academics.

Grimm studies seemed like a nice class. While Liadan wasn't what one would consider an intellectual, she did have a good idea of all of her subject material. So she felt pretty good about how this year would go.

Ayla Ciel

Everything seemed to go in a nice and smooth pace. Everyone was gathered around a table enjoying breakfast like a family and there were no conflicts arising (at this moment at least). This all soon changed when Virgo suddenly exploded out of his seat and slammed a giant black book onto his bed.

"Akh!" Ayla choked on her food for a few minutes in surprise, turning her body towards the boy.

"What're you doing Virgo?" she asked raspily, still recovering from her near-death experience by asphyxiation. This question was lost in the boy's busy mind, and a few seconds later, Virgo brought up an extremely valuable event: class, and their potential tardiness if they didn't hurry up.

Seeing how Ayla had already finished getting ready, she sat in the midst of a storm of stress. Everyone was busy preparing themselves while Ayla sat there enjoying her breakfast - albeit with more speed than before.

Within five minutes time Virgo was the first individual to come out of their room, practically shoving the door from its hinges. Hearing a slight crunch sound, Ayla winced at the assumption of someone being hit with the door. Unable to confirm such an injury until the room was cleared, Ayla waited until everyone exited. Once she was outside, she attempted to heal the injured person to the best of her ability with her wards.

"....The fuck are you doing."

"L-Lily..." Ayla chuckled nervously, sliding to her once the injured person had been taken care of. Her next words were taken into a whisper, cupping them to her ear. "Virgo'll learn those words if you say them too much."

After those words everyone departed towards their class. Hmmm, Grimm studies. I'm sure I'll do well in it, she thought to herself. The class didn't seem hard, and once Ayla had work on the field under her belt, the class would hopefully become much easier.

"...who is our professor, by the way? I don't think I met them yet, so having some sort of clue of what they're like would help."

"I'm not too sure... I only hope he or she's an exciting person," Ayla smiled, unsure of what defines an exciting teacher herself.

"Don't Worry, Team!" Said Virgo as he quickly led the quintuple to their appointed class. He couldn't help but grin wider. Grimm studies?! That sounded like so much FUN! Sure, Grimm were pure creatures of darkness that wanted nothing more than to tear mankind apart, but Virgo never heard of a CLASS about them! This'd be so exciting! And with his new team, things would be even more exciting! So exciting his little heart of JUSTICE would explode! "It doesn't matter who our professor is! As long as we have fun, we can deal with anything!" Virgo said, eyes twinkling with wonder.

The boy jumped with a squeak as he saw a butcher knife slice clean into the gooey purple brain of a Boarbatusk, hugging Ayla out of fear and shaking. Virgo was currently not having fun. And he CERTAINLY wasn't dealing with this well.

"Did you know, class, that Zis brain is only here is only obtainable if you manage to dig it out from ze skull of a Boarbatusk in five seconds before it completely disintegrates from its corpse?" Ms. Fonce', a lady with purple dressed in an elegant white skirt and black button-up long-sleeve, both stained with black blood, practically giggled. Multiple heads, including Virgo's, shook and Ms. Fonce' could only nod. "Yes, Yes! This Makes Grimm organs very hard to obtain. But do not worry, my little students. Ma'dam Fonce' would rather die then prevent her students from a handz on lesson!" And with an increasing smile, the woman sliced the brain again, causing it to slowly rift, black goo leaking out profusely.

Virgo shuddered and closed his eyes, hiding his face in Ayla's sleeve. This was not fun! This was not fun AT ALL! Virgo could barely stand fighting as it was, but seeing blood and organs on the teacher's table?! Even if from Grimm, Virgo still couldn't help but feel, for the first time in awhile, disgusted by this. And so, he just listened to Ms. Fonce' describe each part of the Boarbatusk brain and how it functions. He hoped the others were at least tolerating this

Lily pretty much ignored most of the looks she received, humming lightly under her breath, though she did notice that Liadan too was receiving odd looks. It was nice to know that she wasn't alone in that sense. She cocked a brow when Ayla pulled her aside, basically asking her to please not curse so much. Lily shrugged nonchalantly, unsure of that.

"I don't believe in sugarcoating," she said simply, almost boredly. "The kid'll probably learn stuff way worse than a couple harmless curse words here and there, trust me. Especially at a school for Grimm hunters and huntresses."

---------

Lily did not like this teacher very much. If anything, she was absolutely terrified of Ms. Fonce, who appeared to have more mental problems than a thousand genetic scientists combined. She especially didn't like how the teacher would glance straight at her occasionally; the faculty already had been told of Lily's....interesting case, so as not to cause a panic. After a while of this, she finally responded by casually turning to Virgo to check on him. Poor guy looked traumatized. Lily continued to listen, having already heard the same lecture from a much rougher, meaner crowd, but most of the time she was internally screaming at herself to go and make sure he was doing well. However, she didn't feel safe here either.

"....Don't worry, she won't hurt you," she said to herself, under her breath. "There are people much worse than that. She's just a teacher....just a teacher....just. A. Teacher. She's not one of them, just a teacher......I'm gonna be sick....." Lily added, her voice a bit louder as she considered making a run for it. How easy would an escapade be? Just....CRASH! Out the window and to freedom! But then she would be leaving everyone else at the mercy of Ms. Fonce!

  AAAAAAAAaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHhhhhhHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trembling in her seat, Lily's wings kept opening and closing as she internally debated making her great escape. To escape or not to escape....that is the question.

"...so that's what it looks like," Liadan noted, writing notes with interest. Based on the sounds the class was making, it didn't seem like the others were as interested.

Glancing over at Virgo and Lily, she put her hands in front of their eyes. It'd make note-taking difficult, though if her teammates were uncomfortable, she didn't mind having to write a bunch of stuff down anyways. Her memory would probably make up for it anyways. Continuing to watch the professor, Liadan tilted her head. Ms. Fonce would rather die than prevent the students from letting them have a more hands on approach to learning? How respectable. This was extremely fortunate that she had ended up with such a kind teacher who cared about the learning of her students. It warmed her heart to see such dedication to education.

And while Liadan was thinking about that, the grimm was gorily taken apart in front of the class.  Squish. Squish. Squish. A few of the students were prepared to barf out the windows from the sight of this. Others covered their entire face and kept their eyes close. Some of them were trembling in their seats. Basically, they reacted in ways that normal people would: reasonably afraid and concerned.
"Ms. Fonce? Do Boarbatusks, and grimm in general, have memories stored in parts of their brain like humans and faunus do? If so, can they be conditioned in ways like dogs are?" Liadan remembered the term "conditioned" in the psychology context from one of her ten sibling's interest in the subject. This was a question she asked Liadan to ask about at Beacon and so Liadan made sure to ask about it. Even though she didn't really know that much about psychology, Liadan thought it was interesting, nonetheless.

Ayla Ciel

The teacher standing in front of the class hadn't fit Ayla's definition of 'exciting', yet it did fit her definition of 'interesting'. Ms. Foncé possessed an evil mad scientist vibe; a woman who would kidnap and murder students when the clock strikes midnight. What does she dissect other than Grimm...? she thought, chilling running up and down her spine.

N-No. Ms. Foncé probably a wonderful young lady. 'Shouldn't judge a book by its cover...

Ayla shook her head, forcefully eliminating any negative assumptions she had made of Ms. Foncé upon meeting her. Instead, Ayla took out a notebook and pencil, casually writing anything the woman teaches from this point on.

Roughly a minute into the note-taking session, Ayla felt a strange sensation on her non-dominant arm. They felt like short, distressed breaths - each of them pushing against Ayla's sleeve. Turning her head towards the feeling, she realized Virgo was the boy doing it. Examining his expression, Virgo seemed to be rather spooked by the current lesson being held.

"....Don't worry, she won't hurt you," Ayla looked upwards towards the voice; it was Lily attempting to soothe Virgo. "There are people much worse than that. She's just a teacher....just a teacher....just. A. Teacher. She's not one of them, just a teacher......I'm gonna be sick....."

Floof!

"L-Lily?!" Ayla exclaimed, her eyes widening towards the rapid opening and closing of the woman's wings. Her voice was rather loud; if Lily's rapid wing opening hadn't stolen the attention of the teacher, Ayla's shout likely had.
