Fantasy The Fae of Ireland. (Open.)

Slothtastic

Sloth Overlord.
Humans:
Fae, we all know what they are. Kelpies, Satyrs, Sprites, Fauns, Fairies etc. They are apart of many cultures around the globe, and some have similar creatures. In Modern times, supernatural sightings have been faked many times over, revealing just to be a horrible costume or a hoax. However, recently sightings of Fae have been more recent. Specifically, in Ireland. Now, some may think that it is a hoax, but the creatures caught on camera sure do look real enough, not animated or costume looking. Or any of that movie magic. The texture and look of them was real. As if they were really there. Of course this sprung up many supernatural hunters and filmers to try and search the Forests in Ireland for Fae. Strangely enough, some go missing. And do not return. You, being a human, may have many reasons to go to Ireland. But you perhaps just want a chance to see and film the Fae. You think to yourself, what harm could it be?

Fae:
The Fae have been drawn to Ireland, with its lush green hills and nice forests everything was nice and peaceful. However, now they've been drawn to it more than ever. It was as if something was calling them there, something was pulling them there. Beckoning them and begging them. And many have answered the call to their native homeland. However, due to this calling Fae have been sighted more often trying to find the source. Some of them returned to their cities and towns with videos for proof. And others were less fortunate, stumbling upon the protectors of the Forests. The Thorn Satyrs. However, there's been a public notice sent to Fae, calling them to the forest known as 'The Bloody Forest' to discuss recent meetings. And you have just received one, so now you too plan to move there.

((This is a roleplay for Fae creatures and humans! Meaning you can be only one of the two. I will have a CS up soon enough as well as an explanation as to who the Thorn Satyrs are, and what the Bloody Forest is!

Day One.
The Fae would feel compelled to enter from what the humans called, The Bloody Forest. Their beings drawn towards it like a moth to a flame. The call would be hard to resist, even for the strongest willed of Fae. You'd find that you'd begin to move unconsciously towards it.

Oliver Thorn
Oliver was at the base of a tree, sitting against it with some grapes in hand. He looked out, just miles of deep forest. Behind him lie the most guarded thing in Fae History, The Fae Capital. He'd been assigned to guard this spot, the other Thorn Satyrs were spread out.

Rus walked through the forest towards an unknown reason. "I should be back trying to find a job." He said as he turned yet another bug. "You'd think that after a few years bugs would learn the difference between the musk of an imp and rotten eggs." He kept walking and burning bugs, the stench of sulfur and ash permeated the air around him. "I wish I could unglamor, this form is so uncomfortable." He mumbled to himself.

Eli pressed a strand of hair to her lips as she leaned on the railing of the ship looking out through the mist. Home...how long had it been since she stepped foot on Irish soil? Forever is what it felt like, so many years had passed, so many memories both good and bad. She let out a soft sigh watching her breathe float through the air. The boat ride had been rather, uneventful. No fighting for her to meddle in so there was little to no blood spilled. However, she had been working her deadly ability on one of the crewmates. Her deep red eyes glanced over to the young man who was washing the deck on his hands and knees. A dark aura surrounded him, depression, it was delicious. A small smirk curled across her lips and she heard the boat's horn as the sea vessel docked. She took in a deep breath of air, it was crisp and she could smell many a fae had made their way here.

She departed from the boat in an organized fashion the young crewman had made his way down to help lower the plank that she began to step down. "I hope you had a wonderful trip miss. Is there anything I can do for you?" The crewman asked. She brushed her hand over her shoulder and whispered softly. "You could drown yourself." She said in a very soft voice as she passed by him. The young crewman's eyes widened as he watched her go. He looked to the water...and jumped. Eli's abilities had manifested outside of feeling death but also causing it to those who were on the borderline of wanting death themselves. Panic ensued as she walked away from the docks, his life energy floating through the air around her as she opened her mouth wide as if to yawn. The essence slipped into her as she let out a loud shriek. Through the chaos of trying to rescue the man, no one noticed it came from her. She held a small suitcase in front of her as she walked away. Her destination was a familiar one, the Bloody Forest. There would be no great feast for her there, but something of interest was coming...and she was eager to know what.

Her footsteps were delicate as she walked through a town close to her destination stopping to hitch a ride part of the way on the back of an old shepherd's wagon. She sat in the straw bedding in the back of the wagon and opened her suitcase. Out she pulled a golden note that to a normal eye would seem nothing but a pretty piece of paper, but to a fae it was information about the meeting that was soon to come. she twirled it in her fingers glancing down at the other trinkets inside her suitcase; an ivory handled mirror, an elegantly carved hairbrush, and a few other bobbles she had received. She put the letter back in her suitcase and closed it as the shepherd rolled to a stop letting her off "Miss, I would suggest you not enter that forest, it's sad that nothing good happens there." His voice was shaky as she hopped off the back of the wagon and dusted off her skirt. "I appreciate your concern, but I live for danger." Her voice was sweet and sing-songy, it matched her delicate glamor. She bid the old man farewell and turned to the forest walking just as delicately as she had prior. There was no rush for her when time truly meant nothing.

Oliver Thorn
Oliver still sat at the tree Hollow. He was waiting very patiently for any new Fae. 'Damn, can't I go back to my Hollow soon?' He thought to himself, looking up he realized it wasn't even in the evening. The Loud shriek caught his ear, it was far off but it was there. He tapped the tree in a certain beat, it was a message. Like Morse Code, except not. He began to move away from the Hollow, moving forwards. The Hollow seemed to knock back, but he was already leaving.

He moved to the edge of the forest, keeping hidden in the forest's leaves and undergrowth. He saw a figure there, she looked human enough, but she could be a Fae. He'd have to follow her to make sure. If she was a human, he'd have to get rid of her before she got too close.

Eli walked through the forest calmly holding the suitcase in front of her with both hands. It was peaceful, a little too peaceful in the forest where a fae meeting was going to happen. She wasn't early, nor was she late. Maybe she wasn't far enough into the forest, it had been some time since she set foot on these grounds. Eli stopped walking for a moment and looked around, she had the feeling she was being watched. It was just a tingling sensation, she had no proof but her feminine intuition didn't fail her often.

She flipped a strand of hair over her shoulder and continued down her path. If it was a human, she'd lead it into fae territory and destroy it. If it were a fae, they would make themselves known soon probably questioning her looks since she was rather human. Her true form was very similar to this one, but she preferred the look of youth versus her aged self.

Rus continued to walk through the forest until he saw a young woman. 'Whats a human doing here' he thought as he approached her."Hey lady you might want to leave." He said as he got close. "Bad things could happen to people out her." He saw her carrying luggage and asked. "Did you just move here are you lost?"

Oliver watched from a distance, he had to test them somehow, so he looked to any nearby animal. He saw two squirrels and commanded them. Their eyes turned an Olive Green hue, the same as Oliver's. the squirrels ran up the tree, grabbing acorns before launching them at the two. Their eyes could have scared off almost any kind of human. It was abnormal.

Eli slowed her steps when she heard someone approaching. A man with a shaggy red beard approached her and she rose a brow staying put as he spoke. She was looking over his figure, well built with a large nose and icy eyes. Was it her imagination...or were there flies buzzing nearby? "Leave?" She said questioningly as she took in a deep breathe through her nostrils, that rotten smell she knew was familiar but not of what. "Everyone seems to be so worried about my safety..." She let her natural Irish accent slip into place as she tip-toed around him whimsically looking him over. "Danger, I don't think a troll...hmm maybe not a troll." She took in another deep breath as she twirled behind him. "Not an ogre either." She smirked as she came to his side looking to him her red eyes glowing just ever so lightly. "Nevermind your origin, it is you who would be in more danger if I so wanted." Without another word, she tilted her head forward as an acorn flew by. It seems more had noticed their movement. Her eyes did not trail to the path of where the acorn came, she was currently more occupied with the...not a tree int...Imp that was the smell! She was occupied with the red-bearded Imp. She knew more acorns were soon to be thrown their way if they did not notice the possible druid who had commanded them.

Rus was surprised when the lady seemed to notice he wasn't human but before ge could deny it and acorn shot passed. He followed the path to a tree. "Stupid squirrels." He had an idea to drive both the lady and the squirrels away. He took in a long deep breath as his belly swelled in size. "My advice, hold your nose." A loud fart sounded through the forest as a cloud of bright yellow gas covered a 15 foot are, the sulfuric gas had an almost unbearable stench and would sting your eyes. "Hope that worked."

Not far away a cough spasm started.
"Fockin' hell! Shit stinks like a damn skunk!" Oliver coughed, almost feeling like he was going to hurl. Although the squirrels prepared themselves for another round! Releasing hell upon the two in a fury of nuts and acorns. And the occasional small fruit. The smell seemed to have no effect on them, mainly since they were being controlled. However, birds and other animals in the radius took off running.

"What?" Eli questioned but then saw him and soon his yellow hue as she grabbed her nose pinching it. Her eyes were tearing up as she moved behind a tree to avoid getting hit with acorns. She looked up into the air to see birds flying away and other woodland creatures fleeing. The stench was terrible, she watched as a bird fell from the sky. 'Perfect' she thought as she watched it fall letting out its last breath. She turned to face where the squirrels were and let out a piercing scream. It was not her strongest, she was only mourning a bird, but it would definitely disturb the squirrels.

Rus heard where the coughing came from and smiled as he got rid of his glamour and flew head first towards the sound. "HEADS UP!!" He shouted as he launched himself using both his legs and wings to gain speed. He even started to shout a war cry of. "Death to squirrels!"

Rus would fly straight into a wooden wall. Made of tangled roots and Thorns. It wasn't the most pleasant thing.
"Damn idiot." Oliver growled, before covering his ears at the shriek. The squirrel's control was interrupted and they took off.

"Ouch." Was the only thing that left his lips as he hit the wall. He was covered in shalow cuts as he untangled himself from the wal of thorns. "Fine then you want to play rough, the lets get rough." He shot a stream of fire out his hand at the wooden wall with his right hand.

Eli felt the barrage of acorns and whatever else the possessed squirrels could get their hand on stop. She watched as the yellow gas began to dissipate as she wiped a few tears from her eyes and wrinkled her nose. The smell was starting to go down and the stream of flames was helping burn the smell away. She walked that way towards the Imp who was firing at a wooden wall. "..." She watched him and looked at the wall wondering who was behind it. "knocking often works better." She said to the Imp. She waited to see if the Imp would stop and set down her suitcase.
