With that, here is my embarrassingly short character description. >///<


Name: James Dwight


Age: 27


Gender: Male


Appearance: He wears a suit and a small hat. He has a pocket watch, which is made of silver, that is attached to his shirt with a little chain. He also carries a small revolver in a leather shoulder holster.


A little bit of back story: James was born in a small home and didn't have much growing up. His parents divorced when he was 8 and he was put in an orphanage since neither parent wanted him anymore. Now he works as a detective working for the yard (the police). He usually works in an unorthodoxed way, he's easy to break protocol and some rules but in the end he does this to be successful in the cases. (Think Dr.House if you know it)


He has a soft spot for kids since he used to have a daughter. His wife died when giving birth and his daughter went missing years ago.


(Also this is the first time i play a male role ._.)

Background Information:

Dido Angelina Smith, was born into the lower life, her mother was a drug addict, who left Dido to fend for herself since early childhood. Her father unknown, due to him being one of her mother's clients. When she settled on the streets she took up the job of a flower girl, selling flowers on the streets to make ends me. Yet, she was generally beaten and her pay was stolen when she finished for the day. As years went on she heard he mother died, and a my appeared before her one morning when she was working, her apparent father, one of her mother's past clients, who actually looked like her in some ways. He took her in from then and educated her, he was a famous detective which made her want to become a detective so she could help her father.


When she turned eighteen she married, while studying her husband supporting her in her study as graduated and went into the work force with her loving husband. In the time she began working with the detective office in Scotland Yard, she fell pregnant twice, give birth to a baby boy (she was aged twenty) and little girl (twenty-one) a year after. Shortly after her daughter was born her husband was killed in a investigation, that wasn't explained, as his dead was covered up it threw Dido into a deep depression, though she took over his position after spending time in mourning with her children.


Moments back on the job she was put on the undercover case of dressing up as a woman of the night, to force Jack the Ripper out of hiding. In this case she is injured while walking through an old alley heading towards the local church, she was stabbed in the shoulder with a bunch of hair dressing sheers. She is helped by a man, later finding out he's someone she is to be paired up with in future cases.

Family Person - Loves her children, decease husband and her father who raised her teaching her what parental love is like.


Not to be Underestimated - She's witty, strong with her mind and can easily sort out problems others can't. She knows her husband's death wasn't investigated, and she knows there must be a reason behind it.


A Lover not A Fighter - She's a caring nature, and generally takes other's problems on more than her problems. Though when push comes to shove she does know and is trained on how to seriously course injury or kill someone if they come as risk to her, her family, or her partner.


Scholar - Smart, and very well educated on the street life and the criminal underworld due to her mother's drug addiction. She's still learning about the world of the wealthy often refusing to work on cases with the nobleman of England, being half noble and a bastard she's often mistreated (her husband was disowned by his family for marrying her as he was a nobleman).


Likes:


Helping others from the life of the streets hoping to get them out of there. Writing stories and poems for her children that she can read to them at night. Playing games with her children the days she has off work. Talking to her father (whose retired in this role-play, he lives with his daughter and grandchildren watching them while she's working). She enjoys working, though she hates overtime as she is only willing to work the hours she's set out for, because she wishes to get home to her children.

Dislikes:

Overtime, she believes that it takes time away from her children. After her husband's death she investigated into what happened on the night he was killed, and began getting letters with threats upon her children's and her life. The sexists she works with. etc.
