When Nova woke up, she realized that her face was pressed to her keyboard. Her computer screen was shattered, but she had managed to hook up her cousin's monitor to her laptop base. Luckily, the monitor was a touch screen and doubled as a drawing device, so she could still keep making art. Deleting the long string of letters that her face had typed in Pesterchum, Nova pushed out from her desk, before leaving her room. The far wall was still missing, however it was replaced with a giant canvas. Nova's cousin was nowhere to be seen. Stepping outside, Nova was amazed to find that her world now consisted of a land partly made of mud and ponds, and partly of canvas and stone. Frogs sounded all around her, their croaks all sounding different, some louder, some more broken... Demon-like beings with odd mutations roamed about, teeth sharp and intimidating. Nova decided to call these beings Imps, as that's what they looked like. Her grip tightened on her scythe. Where was she? A thought came to her: Land of Canvas and Frogs. It was her home now. In the distance, she could make out a volcano...
Nova points to the volcano in the distance with a quixotically expression. Was she supposed to go there? She then goes back inside, remembering the Imps, and the fact that all she has to defend herself is a crappy piece of plastic. She'll need to find a real weapon before trying anything.
AA: some direction would be nice
AA: i mean, i don't wanna pressure you or anything
Nova sets her phone back in her pocket, walking over to the devices. She pulls the punched card out of the Totem Lathe, looking it over. Taking one of her own cards, she placed it in an empty card, flipping the card over to get the captchalogue code for it, and wrote it down in the chat. Taking the card back out of the other card, she punched in random numbers and letters with a blank card, and sent it through the Alchemiter.
Nova kicks the PILE OF USELESS JUNK. It thuds oddly onto the floor, the faygo popping open and spilling on the carpet. God dammit.
Getting off the Alchemiter, Nova looks at the chat again. Sighing, Nova realized her first priority should be a better weapon... Going into a the kitchen, she picks up a REAL KNIFE from the knife block. Looks like she can't actually use this in combat, but.. taking the code, she punches an empty card with it, and then punches it again with her TOY SCYTHE code. Setting the double-punched empty card in the Totem Lathe, she carves a totem and puts it onto the Alchemiter.
?? made it a bit easier for you by letting you not have to use cards and codes but he let you directly alchemite the object, but at the cost of the first two objects! Pluses and minuses.
You do one last alchemation: POKEMON PEARL && FARMER'S SCYTHE. You initially swore you'd never touch your Pokemon save files again, as the memories contained within were too precious, but perhaps you could gain something from Palkia's power? Or perhaps Pikachu at the very least....
Dragonfairy? Wasn't Palkia Dragon/Water? Well, whatever. This is better than nothing. Assuming Nova's out of grist at this point, she heads outside with her Dragonfairy scythe equipped. There's Imps everywhere! Slashing left and right, Nova attempts to make her way through the thick of the groups of imps.
Nova supposes she should probably also make something to help her, defensively. Taking her outfit, which is identified as a SATURN SWEAT SET, she begins to alchemize...
