A large gash appeared upon his right shoulder, blood rushing to the ground as he winced in pain.
"Shit" He thought to himself "This isn't looking good for me. I think it's time I made a hasty retreat. As the sword was still stabbed into his frame, he immediately grabbed onto it, administering a hopefully higher than 7 shock to the body; using this as a means to temp. bug out her systems.

[dice]17016[/dice]

Regardless of this being effective or not, he mustered as much strength as he had to pull himself out of the blade's grasp; activating his adrenaline rush to boost his speed, hopefully getting away if he could.

Should he mange to escape successfully, a new black car would be waiting, Lucy Wong gasping at the injuries.
哦,我的上帝,洛基特!坐進車內,我們需要醫治你!. Just barely managing to get into the car, he closed the door behind him before easing into his seat; the thought of a med pack bringing sweet relief to his mind. "那你有沒有打她?" He silently shook his head from left to right. "我幾乎得到了離她而去。 He gazed out of the window That woman's a monster.. Granthor watched as his target attempted to flee the scene of the fight rather quickly. Well, that wasn't good. He might get the chance to recover from the damage he'd sustained. Granthor walked away from the shadows and focused once more on honing in on his body functions. After a brief pause he appeared to disappear into the thin air before the onlooker's very eyes. In that brief pause, Granthor was rushing towards the target, intent to stop the flight. There was no reason to go and give up such a chance to take out a weak opponent.

Granthor moved quickly, covering the great distance between him and his opponent in a short amount of time. He noticed how the man was approaching a car and knew that if he let the man reach that car, it was all over. The great distance tired him though and he wasn't able to actually closed the distance entirely. As the man jumped into the car he threw a kunai at him, letting it crash through the window and striking the man. With that he turned to his other target since the other was lost to flight.

Sixty-two felt her success nearing. Her opponent was severely weakened. His crimson blood was leaking all over her sword as it penetrated his shoulder. All she needed was one more blow. Warning! Warning! Incoming attack! Her internal sensors alerted her. Several options to defend the attack were available, but she needed to select the most efficient way. Defensive strategy selected: confiscate the sword from his grasp to avoid the momentous shock.

Defense Roll

She growled a mechanical-like growl as she tried to hurriedly tug her sword away from his grasp, but he still managed to electrify her slightly. She stood momentarily from the shock as her hair fluffed up statically. She rubbed her head."Ow," She uttered to emulate humans and their reaction to pain sensory, but she was only capable to speak in one tone or 'pitch,' so she spoke without emotion whatsoever. Now, Sixty-two has a headache. Her opponent managed to get away because of her temporary stun, but he won't get too far. She sheathed her sword so that she can run fast enough to catch up with Lockett. "Must terminate target!" She said aloud. Just as she was racing with her gears whirring noisily, a man hidden within a dark cloak began to get ahead of her and chase Lockett as well. She scanned the target. He met the following description she had in her profile: Wears a dark robe. She set a permanent lock on the target. Shadowstrike's aura was now a light orange. "Must terminate targets!" she began to swing herself in circles along with her sword and she placed herself between Shadowstrike and Lockett's car. She was hoped this would be her last attack on her original target; her goal was for Shadowstrike to crash and burn with his levitational car. Sixty-two was a blurr of motion as she swung her sword at both her targets: Twister Slash. This, to her, was the most effective method to eliminate both targets.

Scorpio was surprise that her own target would leap forward and fight her. A mechanical laugh tickled her throat. "Pathetic," she muttered as he inched closer to her, firing at will. "Oh, you want to play with guns?" she leaped into the air with all her four cyborg legs. As she sprung into the air she fired aimlessly at the ground below her. "Dance! Dance! Dance!!!" her voice vibrated in exclamation as she let out another laugh that sounded like a distorted echo belonging to a woman.

He saw a robot coming at him with its rather large broad sword and his eyes widened slightly. He didn't have any means to go heal himself after this so mitigating damage was a must and there weren't many ways to lessen blows from such a sword. The robot jumped over his head and landed between him and the car which was now leaving and swung out in a large circle. Granthor attempted to jump out of the way and managed to only get grazed on the side by the large blade before rolling to safety.

He took the chance of the robot's recovery from such a wide swing to launch his own offensive. He dove under the circling blade and drew his tantō out in a smooth motion. As he came out of the roll and was standing inside the robot's defenses he swung out with the blade and attempted to land a large gash on his new opponent. It was a well placed strike, but there was no telling the resilience of robotic opponents.

As Sixty-two was in the midst of her 'Twister Slash,' her screen was flashing red, Warning! Warning! Incoming attack! It seemed her opponent was attempting to penetrate her with his tantō blade. He caught her when she's most vulnerable. She calculated the possible methods to use in her defense. Method selected: utilize the velocity of her 'Twister Slash' to levitate out of the enemy's reach.

Her defensive strategy was slightly successful, but Shadowstrike still managed gash at her upper leg. A black oil leaked out of her 'wound.' Sixty-three percent of health remaining... she shot him an discontent glare. "I.. will.. not.. fail!" she roared in her monotone voice. She rose her sword over her head and slung it down towards her opponent. Must.. eliminate.. all.. targets.. she was determined to not fail.

The robot wasn't seeming all too happy with his having come in and dealt damage to her. Granthor wasn't about to fall prey to a robot, that was beneath him. He made a despairing comment that could barely be made out as, "Damned abominations," and readied himself for the counterattack he knew would be coming. After dealing his blow he rolled out back of the range of her sword, and apparently just in the nick of time too. He heard the loud crash as the sword bit into the road and empty air where he had once stood. With the opponents sword currently stuck in the ground he charged forward and drew his blade in an attack across the chest of the robot. He was intent to finish this fight before she could escape, there was no reason why two targets should escape death.

Sixty-two jerked her head towards her opponent when she found that he evaded her attack. This target was not an easy opponent. Based on all her analysis, these targets she is pursuing are definitely not a gang. They are too disorganized to be a gang and definitely too powerful, but what are they? They can't be ordinary folk. She let out a gasp as her opponent lunged forward unexpectedly. Her screen was too focused analyzing what her foes could be and neglected to warn her of the upcoming attack. "Ughhh.." a digital like grunt left her lips. Black oil seeped out of her mouth and the orifice Shadowstrike created in her chest. She pulled his blade out and immediately acted upon her internal instincts. She must get to safety and repair herself. With the little energy she has left, she sprinted away from Shadowstrike and threw a shrapnel grenade behind her. Sadly, the injuries she acquired didn't allow her to sprint any further and she fell to the ground. She coughed some oil out of her mouth, "Must repair..."

Granthor smiled as the oil gushed out of the robot, at least he'd gotten one of the two targets he'd found here. He fought with the robot slightly as it grabbed his blade, not wanting to relinquish his hold on it, but then she turned and began running, letting him have control of his blade back. Not that he needed it, there wasn't any point. It wasn't going anywhere fast and he knew that. He slowly walked toward the stumbling figure and saw a quick movement as it fled. He barely had time to react at the projectile thrown at him.

The grenade landed close enough for the shrapnel to cause many lacerations across his body, all of which stung. However, it was nowhere near telling enough to stop him from pursuing this kill. He continued his slow walk and couldn't help but laugh as the robot stumbled and fell. He had a general distaste for technology, having come from a much older time, and his first two kills in this mission caused him great pleasure. As he approached the prone figure the smile only grew more wicked. He walked around and crouched in front of it. He drew one of his remaining Kunai and looked at the face of the robot. "You fought well. Just die now." No warrior deserved to simply struggle like this and he was intent to put it out of its misery. He went for the nape of the neck, intending to disconnect the head from the rest of the body.

"I.. cannot.. fail!" Sixty-two rolls away from his grasp and avoids his attempt to slit her throat. She slowly got up from the ground and held her sword up, ready to attack. Instead of pursuing the target area that she presumes Shadowstrike thinks she is going to attack, Sixty-two looks for a target area that has been left open. Once she has spotted an unprotected target area, she lunged and attempted to jab him with her Anchor Brand Sword. She spun around him quickly afterwards and ran again to distant herself from Shadowstrike, so she could have a moment to repair herself. She flung herself into an alleyway and hid behind a dumpster. She pulled out some spare parts she brought for emergencies like these. She started picking at the orifice within her chest. She started repairing her robotic manipulator, controllers, EOAT, part positioners then she rebooted her safety systems. She sealed the orifice and she was renewed. She leaned against the dumpster and sighed heavily. She almost died. She, now, internally was one hundred percent repairs. Sadly, she couldn't make herself look more aesthetically pleasing, but this would make due for now. My targets are targeting... she thought to herself. My targets are.. trained beings like myself.. they're assassins..

His eyes widened as she found the strength to roll out from underneath his falling blade. He stood up and took a few paces back only to find her blade coming at him rather quickly. He grunted as he took the blow and tried his best to turn his body so it would miss all the vital organs. When she retreated he looked down at the damage done to his body. He wasn't in the best of shape and he had no means to heal himself now. He frowned and walked away. He had no idea how he was going to continue this fight. Backing out was an option. He didn't need the money and his life was worth more than just going and getting himself killed. Or he could wait in the shadows and watch the rest of the fighting until he could take out the last target standing. This last idea was much more appealing to him. He joined the mob on the side of the road and melted into shadows. He drew his cloak tightly around him and activated the one piece of modern technology he had. The cloak hummed slightly as the micro-technology whirred to a start but quickly quieted. Any signatures he'd been giving off were now wiped and he figured any radar wouldn't be able to pick him up now. This was as close to truly invisible as one could get in the modern world. He slipped off the main path and faded into the dark alleyways. He was in no hurry at all to reach the slums. His targets had plenty of time to fight and kill each other. He slowly walked into the the Fixer's Hope district without realizing he'd ended up already crossing into the next district.

BOOM. BAM. CRASH.

First, Lockett was bloodily stabbed by Shadowstrike. His designated driver was panicking at the sight of his blood and was barely driving. Before he could even yell and tell her to have some control or else they'll both die, the worst happened. The robot managed to catch up to him in his car and was spinning and doing some slash attack with her sword. Blood Bot got them good. Lockett's driver has now officially lost it. He tried to get control of the wheel from behind her, but it was too late. They were heading for the wall. He only hoped that he, himself, survived this crash. He sat back, buckled himself and hoped for the best. He was calm. Peaceful. This may not be the end. CRASH! It was the end for both of them. Lockett was officially terminated.

As much as Sixty-two wanted to continue resting against the dumpster in an alleyway, but she couldn't; she had work to do. So far, she has successfully terminated Lockett, but she still needed Shadowstrike, Jack, Scorpio, and ロボット!. She currently has Shadowstrike highlighted in her internal radar. He doesn't seem to be in the Chinese Quarter district. He seems to be more West. He must be heading towards the Slums. Sixty-two began running West. Finally, she was in the Fixer's Hope district. She was near Shadowstrike, but she couldn't see him. There was too many people. "About to Self-Destruct," she announced loudly. People looked at her frighteningly, but didn't move until she began counting down. "10, 9, 8, 7, 6.." she was obviously bluffing, but she was searching for her target and the damn humans were in the way.

He heard a robotic voice come from the main road. Briefly he considered running and attempting to hide until he could strike later. That'd ensure better odds of surviving this mission. No matter, he'd have to fight eventually anyways and now was just as good as in the future. He turned and left the alley and joined the mob on the street. The tension in the air was palpable as the robotic voice claimed to be counting down a self-destruct sequence. They were backing away a little from the now alone robot standing in the middle of the street. He recognized his previous target and knew that it was just a bluff.

It was just too good of a chance to strike. He slipped one of his last kunai from the belt and hurled it at the voice. It passed through the crowd and came flying from a seemingly unknown direction towards his target. The kunai was on a good path towards his target, now it was just a matter of if it would land before it could react. He pushed his way through the crowd, intent not to get caught in a confining position when the true fight began.

Sixty-two watched as the people around her panicked. She watched as the red silhouette of her target try to move among them. Is he trying to escape? she thought with distaste, but moments later her screen was filled with flashing red. Warning! Warning! Incoming attack! She heard it too. Something was hurling in her direction. She noticed it in time to duck accordingly. She scoffed at Shadowstrike's lowly attempt to knick at her life.

"Target found. Must terminate," she said as the cloaked man stood before her as plain as day. Sixty-two always has her feet shoulder wide and she always move with her legs spread apart. She likes to hold her sword with both hands before she strikes. Sixty-two opponent's movements and learned that he moves in to attack in an effortless manner, almost stealthily. This was her moment to launch a preemptive strike and counter his attack. She tried to close the distance between them in one swift motion. When she parries, she always keeps the blade close to herself, so she doesn't need tot stretch out to block. Sixty-two used the sole of her foot to give herself all of her renewed strength in one blow to his head.

Granthor was completely astounded by the robot's ability to dodge his attack. He really hadn't been expecting the abomination to repair itself so quickly and already catch up to him. He watched dumbfounded as the robot ran up to him with its blade. He was barely able to react, attempting to roll out of the way, but the robot's blade caught him in his side as he dodged cleaving through his side in the downward strike. He hit the concrete and all the wind was knocked out of him. His vision was blurring and quickly darkening. Amazing how he had survived millennium as an assassin and was just now being taken out. Maybe he'd just gotten to old for the job. He scrambled for his sword, wanting it in his hands as he slipped into the afterlife. Feeling his hands grasp the hilt he relaxed and was partially able to slip it out before he died.

Granthor "Shadowstrike" Excantant, a master assassin of the old world, died that day. His body lay there in the middle of the street, no noticeable amount of blood coming from his large wound. It was a few moments later, before anyone could react to the quick battle that had ensued, that a slight hiss could be heard from his corpse. Instantly what was his body dissolved into shadows, joining the darkness of the world. He'd be back one day. Not this day, but one day later. Next week, next year, next millennium? No one could know. All one that knew his kind could know was that one day he'd be back and stronger as ever. Darkness and evil could only grow stronger as time went on. But this was the end of the legacy of this particular incarnation of the shadows. And so, on this day, the great killer died.

Death was brought to Jack and Scorpio due to her ruthless act.

Scorpio initiated a self-destruct sequence upon realizing she was near to failing her mission.

Blood Bot searched throughout Harbor Prime for her targets, but she only found their dead corpses.

In Chinese Quarter, she confirmed Lockett's death. He was drenched in blood in the back seat of his wrecked car.

She found ロボット! placed neatly on the Marketplace's floor with her hammer held between her hands and her throat slit open.

To find all her targets murdered like this, Blood Bot was shocked.

They were all in some sort of a sick game.

They were all fooled.

Must find new software...

She decided not to return to her home base. She lived to see another day.

ロボット! was found headless. Blood Bot confiscated ロボット!'s head to see if she had the programming she desired.

She did.

Now, she gets to try out what she always wanted to try.

A change in career. A job that aids in pleasure rather than pain.

Congratulations, Blood Bot!!!

Now, we must terminate you too.

THE END
