Portals have been appearing, rifts that bridge the gap between realities. Most of them are small, the size of a cat, or a man, or maybe on the slim chance of a car. No one really knows what is causing them, nor as of yet is there a way to predict them. Many people don’t even notice when they pass from one world to the next and back, the shift so seamless as to be completely missed. That is of course assuming that the reality that they step into is one of those close to this one.
So far the portals haven’t really caused that many issues, more confusion than anything else as people with the same faces appear or people disappear. At most there have been villains leaking through, right alongside heroes. Other realities though haven’t been as lucky. Some of them have been the subject of those who saw the portals as an opportunity to expand and to conquer.
The Justice League has declared that they are working with scientists to find a solution to controlling the portals. Until then however they stand at the ready, as do the teams under them such as the Teen Titans. They are also willing to offer shelter to any of those who have had their homes destroyed, seeking to integrate them into the society of this reality.
Recently a call has gone up, passing through the superhero networks. A new team is going to be forming in the east, a compliment to the Teen Titans in the west led by none other than Robin himself, or at least a version of him.
· Use common roleplay sense so I don’t have to write out a list of rules?
There will be no Ooc in the main thread. It will result in being ignored or your character killed horrifically
· Little bit of a different rule here: When in a fight I (or whoever is handling plot devices at the time) will be handling the big bad as well. What this means is that the big bad at that point boarder line becomes a player character. God moding will be more lenient because it is a big bad and not a main character but do try to keep the automatic hits to a minimum.
· If someone is going to drop the Roleplay please let us know. If not, anyone who is inactive for 2 weeks without warning will have their character removed. Depending on their situation depends on how the character is removed (ie: anyone who just kind of meh and isn’t involved in the main plot will just disappear and the reasoning will be that they moved on or were called elsewhere. Anyone who was involved with the plot will be killed by the plot. Anyone who ties up another character and prevents that person from doing anything else will be killed in a horrific violent event probably out of my dnd monster handbook that will drag the rest of the team into avenging them.
· More of a comment than anything else. Most of my RP experience is Dnd based and it will probably show in how I handle things and how things proceed.
