It is hard to tell what Chikara’s personality is at a glance other than they were a cold and expressionless person. They are calm, especially under pressure and are extremely humble. They used to be a passionate individual with a sassy personality but they have seen the rises and falls of time, wearing him down with their energetic personality.

Composed, reserved, and pragmatic; these are the three words that Chenhe and Shiratori describe him. They is a polite individual, respectful to even those they would consider his enemy. Chikara finds no joy nor purpose in war, preferring to settle arguments through words and understanding each point of view of the opposing parties.

Being someone who knew The Former Prophecy, they have a strong moral compass similar to them, especially for the idealistic morals of the founder.

Chikara was put on this world as another, nameless vagabond, wandering in the ancient ruins with no magic capacity whatsoever. His memory was hazy, it only held little memories of their past. They had seen the destruction the creator gods left that The Prophecy tried to fix, spending their childhood wandering through the ancient ruins, avoiding the many dangers and monsters that lurked in the shadows.

Through the hardships he had fought to survive, the first person who had insisted on helping him through them was the founder of The Prophecy, The Architect. Though they’ve only met once, their encounter was the stepping stone of the founding.

Chikara was supposed to be a member of The Prophecy, the founder granting him an invitation. However, he never got it when his magical abilities manifested by making accidental contact with a creator god using a broken mirror. Chikara made a deal with the god, becoming the eyes of that god in exchange for his magical abilities. In simple terms, he made a pact with this god to serve as a mediator between the gods and this new world in exchange for the ability to break free from the cycle of life, death and rebirth.

Chikara kept this exchange a secret for the many years they had lived away from the cycle, forever living in the mortal realm. The only person he told this secret to was The Architect, meeting multiple times like old times. Chikara promised the Architect to watch over The Prophecy in their immortality. And so they did, for a long, long time. They have watched each member argue, bonded, artistically living life…death. Chikara watched them all crumble against the wave of the gods. Their contracted god had warned them about the upcoming attack but they couldn’t prepare themself for the doom upon the fallen Prophecy. The reincarnation spell casted by The Architect was still in the air and was gathered by Chikara. However, the uprising of The Prophecy was still unfinished and he refused to let The Prophecy's efforts go to waste. So, with the promise they made to The Architect and the determination to finish the unfinished, they set out with a plan to revive The Prophecy.

In the thousand years they had waited for the right moment for their revival, they became a well known investigator in the heart of the now developed world that The Prophecy left. On a fateful cloudy day, they reactivated the reincarnation spell left by The Architect and pushed through a plan they had gathered. A criminal group threatened the city and planned an attack when The Prophecy was mature enough to understand their roots. Chikara and their team would lead the reincarnated Prophecy to their interrogation room and sign a contract to reunite as The Prophecy under them.

Shiratori was born from a collection of magical essence made by a creation goddess. He was known as the child of the White Tailed Animal as his appearance resembles one. The creation goddess carried Shiratori everywhere she went as a token of good luck. They had a decent master-servant relationship, which Shiratori’s stoic temperament develops from. Though she was seen as cruel, the creation goddess values order and stability above all else. She had passed her wisdom down to Shiratori, making him a reflection of what she desires from the planes.

However, this passage of knowledge would not last as the gods and goddess of creation descended down to our current world, bringing The Prophecy down and layering a thin layer of chaos to the world. Shiratori wasn’t originally going to descend down with his goddess as he was told not to but a black-haired person caught his curiosity(Chikara), his devotion to The Prophecy caught his eye. He observed them for countless weeks, finding free time in his servitude to watch their daily routine meticulously. It took him a little less than a thousand years but the male was intrigued enough to descend without his creation goddess’ permission and meet the person, becoming their assistant and right-hand man.

In general, Changhe has a dual personality.

As Changhe, he is a sassy and sociable person. He knows everyone in the capital and is particularly skilled at reading people’s expressions. Changhe's quick tongue and dry humour makes him a lively and entertaining presence in any social situation and a free-spirit, believing that he could do anything he wants in this life of his.

As Linlin, he is apathetic and sarcastic. His constant pranks for people is for his own personal amusement and is very cunning to get people where he wants them to be. Despite his playful and mischievous demeanour, Linlin is also cynical and pessimistic, often seeing the worst in others and the world around him.

No one knows Changhe’s backstory, not even the creator gods. It was like he appeared out of nowhere in the mists of the world. Changhe’s first arrival was in gang territory, filled to the brim with crime and violence. He was one of the luckier ones when in the territory, creating a comfortable life in the more populated areas. It was around this time he was known by another name, Nuanzhao Linlin. Linlin was the opposite of what he is currently; quiet, stoic and sassy. He was an exorcist and fortune teller in one of the more quiet places in the place, giving out bad omens to those who were rude to him. It was a lot of fun, for him at least. Seeing people panicking because of his readings was like watching a nonsensical play made for children.

However, the fun didn’t last long as the gang that ‘owned’ this territory went to war with another crime group just bordering their land. Linlin was amused by this, but ultimately got bored because there it was none of his business. Yet his fortune telling shop got completely whipped when he went back. Linlin was angered by this notion, wanting to find the people who destroyed his space. So, he went out of town and changed his whole personality, coming to be Changhe and befriended Chikara. Continuously, he would get bombarded with invitations to join him with Shiratori but didn’t answer them as they were none of his interest, becoming a close tie to Chikara for relations.

Calypso was raised by a single father, with not alot of money. And no idea of her mother. As a child calypso didn't talk much…well at all. Growing up Calypso's life was loud, but a good loud. It was filled with life. Her father well was a musician. It's like the world still wanted their to be music with them. Her dad played the guitar for Calypso and her older brother (Blue).
Calypso would sit with her dad on their porch feeding the song birds, humming their tune. He would show Calypso his record collection spending hours listening to jazz and the blues.

Blue loved to read stories to Calypso, most of their childhood was acting them out.
She got her first pair of headphones from her dad as a birthday gift. She treasured them. It was a tradition sense to give her a new pair knowing they have gone through their usage. He did everything to make his children happy and to have music follow them.
When their dad died, Calypso spoke one word “Heart.”

Calypso visits every other week by herself. She brings one of his records everytime and some flowers. This is the only time they take of their headphones. They want to listen to him, the music that was him.

Present time, Calypso wanted to open a record shop to share the gift of music with everyone they can. Its what their father wanted. Blue followed in the father's footsteps and performs at Calypso’s shop.

In any glace, you would see Calypso playing. They would draw a violin out of thin air blessing the world around them with the angelic sound. They did prefered privacy of playing but if you caught them on a good day they might have allowed you to sit and listen. Or when The Singer would somehow convince them to join them, that was rare though.
They would roam empty planes playing their music up and down watching their magic spur out. Looking at the effect it had around them.
One of their favorite spots was a park. This park had a clear lake and swans. They would spend their days playing for the passing animals having their company was peaceful. ִֶָ𐀔

                            He exists more in his photographs than the physical plane - some might say he avoids being present in the world.                                   For someone whose job it is to take notes, Ruri is frequently found living in his own thoughts. Yet it’s difficult to grow irate with someone whose very presence could calm a tense atmosphere. He’s an affable sort, though those around him would be hard-pressed to share anything they knew about the man. Ruri doesn’t withhold information intentionally; it just happens when one finds difficulty in connecting with others.
                                
                                  His reserved persona is a product of mostly nurture. He’s used to being the stranger in a group, trying to fit in, and then ultimately leaving while barely causing a ripple in his wake. Why bother getting to know them when they would ultimately leave? And even if they never left, they would change. That was the scariest of them all.

                                  Ruri’s early life was one filled with ships and carriages, of endless seas and open fields. His father was a diplomat of Miranile Dictu, frequently sent to other nations to act as liaison. He chose to bring his family with him. 
                                
                                  His mother was blessed with charisma and a sharp wit. She was a career wife, a warm, chatty foil to her husband’s more serious, strict tone. What she was not, however, was a nurturing mother. As soon as Ruri could be handed off to a wet nurse, she took her place beside the ambassador.
                                
                                  Displacement was a common feeling for Ruri, and he never quite understood what it meant to have a place called home. Oh, he certainly never felt unwanted; in their own ways, his parents cared for him. But familial intimacy was a foreign concept to him.
                                
                                  It only grew stronger as he grew older. When he hit his early 30’s, he stopped ageing. Oh, everyone used a little bit of glamour - a little paint, a little magic, and no one knew your real years. But that was the problem: people he’d grown up with were withering away, yet he stayed the same. Home didn’t exist; not when he wasn’t even comfortable in his own extended existence. 
                                
                                  It’s hard to say whether it was chance or fate at work when he encountered the couple who would change his life. 
                                
                                  He’s tried to forget their names. The memories remain, despite his best efforts. He’d just been taking pictures of the sunset along the boardwalk when one of them begged him to take their wedding photos. It would be too sad, she’d said, if they didn’t have anything to commemorate their elopement. She was just short of clinging onto his legs in order to convince him to do it before he finally caved. They were strangers, yet it wasn’t long until they became friends, providing warmth in a world where there’s been precious little. They were his best friends, they were his family.
                                
                                  Maybe it would’ve been easier if they’d died. Instead, they changed - easy laughter became strained words, playful debates turned into heated arguments. Even worse, however,  was when it all turned to silence. When the one who’d once pleaded with him finally admitted it hurt to look at him, Ruri stepped away.
                                
                                  All things changed, yes, but it was difficult to believe it was for the best.

He’s currently fluent in at least four; he learned his first two languages from his bilingual household. The third was an expectation from his studies. Only one word could be used to describe Ara Moon. Calm. Her name in Korean does mean tranquillity and she lives up to that name. Even in times of crisis, she doesn’t panic. She thinks of how to go about it. Acting on impulse is something that would never happen to her. Whenever she acted on impulse, the results were never beautiful.

While she is described as calm and somewhat reserved, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have any friends, far from it. People tend to gravitate towards Ara for her gentleness. People find her to be a soothing presence that will always be there for you whenever you need it.

The Moon family wanted their children to be exceptional. They assigned a specific activity to each child. Kang-dae, Ara’s eldest brother, excelled in martial arts. Nari, the eldest girl, excelled in tea making. When Ara was born, her parents thrust a pencil in her hands and ever since then, she had to excel in not writing but calligraphy. It was much more traditional than her siblings’ specialties but Ara wouldn’t complain, rather she couldn’t complain. She learned that the hard way. Sitting in their traditional Korean home, Ara spent hours kneeling with a brush and an ink stone rewriting the same phrases over and over again until her tutor deemed it perfect enough to let her parents have a look at it. Her hands were bleeding from the wooden brush, her hands were stained from the ink stones, her hands had callouses all over. She probably went through an entire forest worth of paper just to get the perfect stroke. It’s safe to say, perfection was all that they wanted.

The Moon parents were never the type to be angry, they were the type to be disappointed. What filled the house wasn’t the sound of raised voices, but judgemental glares. That’s how Ara found out eyes could say a thousand words without making a single sound. One glance was all it took for her parents to deem something not good enough. If it was not good enough, it got destroyed.

The sound of paper ripping haunted her everywhere she went. She hated that sound. She was afraid of that sound. She told herself that she would never hear that sound again. As Ara grew older, she got better. She was the best. Her parents entered her in calligraphy tournaments nationally and internationally. And it was a rare sight to see Ara Moon win anything but first place. It didn’t matter what language she wrote in, it took gold practically every time. As traumatic as her upbringing may seem, she found the beauty in calligraphy instead of resenting it. Calligraphy was like painting, but with words. Anything that can be written beautifully can be considered calligraphy, considered art.

Moving forward to the present day, Ara Moon is a university student with a part-time job at a local coffee shop near the campus. Whenever you see the handwritten signage, you can always assume Ara wrote it. No letter was out of place, there were no unnecessary strokes, it looked perfect. Everything about calligraphy needed to be perfect.

Where do I even begin….

Isabella is extremely, extremely, extremely, extremely, extremely volatile. She doesn’t have a consistent personality. Instead, she has eleven different personas, reflecting different flavors found in food. She often switches between them unpredictably, though some things may trigger a certain persona. Generally, she doesn’t go outside any of those personas, but there are times when she can.

“Bland”

Isabella is extremely lazy and sleepy when she embodies being “bland.” She generally acts bland when she’s exhausted from a fight or working hard. Weirdly enough, this might be her “cutest” persona. Her voice is completely tired when in this persona.

“Bitter”

Isabella tends to act more distant and is quiet while being bitter. She tends to avoid any interactions with anyone and will do her best to be alone. She will yell at someone if they attempt to come near her.

“Bittersweet”

An extension of bitter, Isabella is extremely sad when she’s bittersweet. She will cry a lot—and by a lot, I mean a lot. She gets incredibly emotional. She will often cook food to attempt to comfort herself, but even her cooking starts to falter.

“Fruity”

Isabella is extremely hyper when she acts fruity. She’ll jump around, get really happy, speak insanely fast, do a flip, and run around an entire mile in two seconds.

“Rich”

Isabella gains a lot of confidence when she feels rich. She acts and talks cocky, and she will make some rash decisions. This often triggers if someone challenges her to a “cooking battle.”

“Savory/Umami”

This is Isabella’s most normal persona. She’s mature, actually acts intelligent, and is respectful. She smiles and is thoughtful of others. It’s just a shame that she barely ever is this persona. Generally, you may be able to get a glimpse of this the first time you meet her.

“Sour”

This is Isabella’s mildly angry/annoyed persona. She’s prone to slapping people and snapping at people, but not to an extreme extent. This persona can activate if Isabella feels disgusted.

Isabella gets extremely angry when she’s spicy. She will constantly berate and insult you til you break down. She’s very loud and will say a swear word practically in every sentence she says. It is STRONGLY advised you not piss her off to get to this point.

In this persona, Isabella turns into a wholesome, sweet little innocent woman. She is extremely nice and loves to hug people while she feels sweet. Additionally, she will make a lot of baked goods for people around her.

Isabella turns into an idiot, a jokester/prankster, and a complete annoyance when she’s “tangy.” She will constantly ask questions, act dumb, and make some of the stupidest remarks you’ll ever hear in your lifetime.

Isabella was born with an extreme, unusual bipolar condition. She was born extremely moody, and even as a little baby, you could see that she was unusually moody.

Her mother and father could barely keep up with her, especially as a young child. She was constantly going from jumping up and down constantly to randomly crying, and while it slightly got better as she grew up, her disorder remained.

Thus, she was often neglected as a child. Her parents, extremely fed up with her, let her practically do whatever she wanted. As such, she often left home. In fact, the only reason why she was at home was to sleep and eat. Other than that, she was either at school or elsewhere.

She often wandered around the streets. To many, she was an innocent, weird little child, and most ignored her. She never made any friends, her teachers hated her, and she was even bullied from time to time.

Weirdly enough, however, those experiences never seemed to change her. Something about her wacky personality was somehow a source of comfort, and she clung to it.

One day, as Isabella wandered around the city, she found herself in a bakery. Isabella was extremely hungry that day - her parents were going through financial issues. The bakery was owned by a sweet old lady, and seeing Isabella hungry, she decided to provide her with a leftover pastry, a piece of strawberry cheesecake. As Isabella ate the cheesecake, something about it led her down a life-changing experience. The sweet yet rich taste of cake sent shock after shock to Isabella. A rush of inspiration - it felt entirely like fate.
Isabella felt such a rush of happiness that she annoyedly asked again and again if she could make one of her own. The lady was reluctant, but eventually, she gave in.

As Isabella made the cheesecake, she not only replicated the lady’s recipe despite being a newbie, but she had somehow made it better. The lady was shocked, very shocked, but she saw it as an opportunity. Quickly, she “adopted” Isabella, and Isabella began to become more familiar with cooking. Isabella’s parents were actually very relieved at this prospect and let it happen.

She seemed like a natural, heck, almost a supernatural chef. She knew how to perfectly incorporate flavors into food, creating some of the best recipes. Somehow, Isabella, despite having no previous talent as a chef, seemed like the most experienced chef ever. She’s even created her own dishes, pastries, whatever you name it.

If you can even call it that. Born from highschool sweethearts, that should not have stayed together. From the moment of life they had no connection to anything. Their parents never took care of them, her nanny did. They didn't even look at their own child.
Never around, Elysian followed after the workers. Elysian followed their nanny in the morning tasks, cleaning and sewing garments and sweeping the studio. The gardener in the afternoon, looking at the garden taking in the natural inspiration. The cook in the evening, taking in the swiftness and the sternness of them. They taught Elysian everything.
One day, Elysian was helping the nanny. His mother stormed in screaming. Throwing anything in their path, grabbing their suitcase, stuffing it with items and leaving. They were informed that the mother caught their father cheating multiple times on the family. Then gambling the money away.
Elysian’s mother packed everything of importance. Leaving her behind. She was subjected to her fathers antics. His new wife would come and go, following was the money. Elysian’s nanny finally had enough, taking him away from his father after saving up. Elysian found something, someone to care about for the first time.
After moving into a shabby home, Elysian and the nanny did everything together. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, everything. She helped sew Elysian’s clothes. That's where Elysian learned everything from.

A fastidious individual, Aleksander is keen on rituals and repetition. He enjoys the efficiency in a day going as planned, but finds that this is seldom the case anymore. It is hard, after all, to live a life of rhythms when one has eleven other people constantly tugging life every which way.

Aleksander generally divides other people into "us" vs "them" despite the fact that the "us" group is decidedly quite small. Aleksander struggles to reconcile who he is now with who he was before. Malorne was outgoing, was vivid, was full of life. A poet, not just in writing, but in speaking, too. Eager to please, quick of wit, and born into a life of public living, Malorne was in many ways the opposite of Aleksander. In all but one thing.

Writing was Malorne’s only love, even as a child. With parents of middling age and simple living, he thought it was his duty to turn his talent into profit for their wellbeing. People loved his words, loved what he could spin with them. A poem for a lover, a bit of dialogue for a clever mind, an essay on some bit of history for the time-weary elder.

Yet a story can only do so much, and in time Malorne was moved by the movement against the injustice of the world. He penned pamphlets for the cause, wrote long articles about his frame of thinking. Anything to turn the minds of the world, those great thinkers he knew existed.

Perhaps Malorne didn’t believe he really had any right joining the prophecy. He was a writer, a book worm, but a revolutionist? A life changer? His meagre offering lacked the flash of his peers, the twist of a song or a twirl of the body. Literature did not share the beauty of a painting or a picture. But it was all he had, and all he was, and in the end he gave all of it and more for the prophecy. Until even his own existence was given over, left to slumber for years.

AFTER:

Aleksander, so different from his past self, spent a childhood in efficient and unfeeling hands. His parents were not overly fond of the emotions that came with child rearing, and they often chose to tackle Aleksander's upbringing as if it were a to-do list, and every checked off box would bring them closer to the ideal child—which is to say, one that is already grown and does not require such intimate care.

In youth, Aleksander was lonesome, but with the ignorance of not knowing it was such. It was true he had a solitary childhood, but it was spent with a great deal of reading and wandering the neighborhood, and so he hardly felt he minded. Education proved a different experience, as he considered his peers to be strange creatures. There were few he allowed to broach into his life, and he was startled whenver such an event would occur. (Seldom as it was.)

All this to say, there were many facets in Aleksander's life to lead him to literature. It is, in many ways, his driving passion. Perhaps this makes sense now in the light of all that he has been before, but Aleksander likes to believe he achieved his place in this current life separate from his role in the Prophecy—that in every life, regardless of outsider forces, his mind would always tether itself to the written word.

Now, he spends his days with fingers stained black with ink, holed up in some dark room where the sun won’t bleed into old paper. Solitude suits him now, mind body and soul. Long fingers know only the feel of a quill in his hands, grey-brown eyes know only the dim candlelight of a dark room, and broad shoulders know only that inward curve of a writer obsessed.

Arthur was born of a very wealthy family. They had everything they could’ve wanted; wealth, food, clothing and children. Their ever so graceful image was expected, they couldn’t be associated with the weak, could they not? Constantly showing off their treasures in front of those obviously too weak to obtain such things, Arthur grew a burning hatred of his family. Though he loves his family dearly, he does not understand why everything they have separates them from everyone else; We all have blood circulating our system but yet there was a gigantic wall between him and the common folks.

For all of his childhood, he grew up and taught in his family’s walls. The countless treasures were indeed pretty but the sounds of the struggling people drowned his mind, refusing to leave his head even when he convinced himself that it’s all out of his system. The only items that brought him some kinds of comfort was the collection of masks that his family has. Arthur played with his masks since he had laid eyes on them, each one representing a character born in the mists of his mind. His family thought that he was going insane with his masks. It was everyday that he would put on his mask, almost mocking everyone in the household for being arrogant to struggle.

It felt like forever as Arthur continued to speak against his family with his masks, each layer revisited, created and acted out loud. Once he turned 20, he was kicked out of his estate, ripped off his luxurious life and humiliated by his family. Arthur’s mask wasn't enough to protect him from the ridicule, it forever damaged his core. Yet this never wavered his collection of masks. Continuously building his collection, he spoke out against this unfair world, joining the prophecy and enjoying their last moments together as they fought the creator god’s judgement.

Marshall was born from a regular middle-class family. They settled in a ward in the middle of The City of Progress. Since he was young, he was destined to be an actor. He participated in school theatres, competitions and even put on acting scenes in the middle of the streets. Besides acting, he was also proficient in psychology and emotional intelligence. His parents were indifferent to his whole notion, neither helping nor against his plans. They were distant, they acted like strangers to each other, building his fear of abandonment and coping with his stage personalities. When Marshall was 18, he caught the eye of an acting troupe group leader and agreed to join his group. Like his previous reincarnation, he’d also have masks he would wear.

She recorded the daily routines and struggles of the mundane people; recording the daily troubles with the film camera that her parents gave to her.

At the age of 24, she was one of the youngest people to become an archivist. Etsuko’s accomplishment was praised by many. Curious, she made the request to look through the files to her distant cousin. Etsuko read through his files, content to informally “meet” one of his family members. She had no idea what he looked like or what his personality was like, but her admiration for cousin had been tainted with a whiff of jealousy as the files of his portfolio(?) was uploaded and stored into the archivist library. She stopped ageing when she was 27, her co-workers saw that her appearance had stayed the same after the decades that she worked as the archivist but one thing changed.
