  • Important Rules
    0. This is a Detailed RP. At minimum I expect at least a couple sentences or a paragraph. One liners are fine from time to time, but try not to make it a major habit.

    1. All player characters will be 1st years.

    2.All Characters will be from Haven Academy, located in Mistral.

    3.ALL CHARACTERS HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR MONTHS prior to the RP, as all characters were a part of the Guardian Exam together the year before.
    a) NPCs or characters who are above the 1st year will already be characters that your character should already know and be aware of.​

    4.All players are allowed only 3 characters at max. It is recommended you stick with one when starting the RP.

    5.If you do make 3 characters, one must be a Antagonist Character which is a character used solely for plot purposes.

    6.Please refrain from having all characters originate from one kingdom or species / race, the universe was made with diversity in mind.

    7.Power playing is obviously not allowed.

    8.RPN Rules of course obviously apply.

    9.Feel free to create your own settlements or use any of the ones mentioned in Lore. Ask August on ones based in Rasporia.

    10.Teams are required. If you don’t have one, we can work something out.
    a) All teams will be established in IC. Players pick their own teams then this is established in IC.​

    11.Players are not allowed a Divine Gift unless their character gains one in IC.

    12. Teams can consist of 3-4 characters. When you create your team, DM me so I know and am aware as my NPCs will be the ones that establish the teams in IC.

    13. If you want your character to have a Trigger Event, you have to DM so I know. Trigger Events are a special accordance, they don’t just happen. Keep in mind that all powers come with limits.

    14. The Obelisk Academies only allow Students from the Ages of 17+, keep that in mind when making your character.

    15. Aura Types That Repel Each Other are not possible of working together for a Dual user.

    16.Characters who are younger than 17, requires you to message me.

    17. If your character is a Antagonist put the Antagonist at the top of your CS. Having the Antagonist title will mean you will work with me, to implement your character into the plot.
    a) Antagonist Characters do not need to participate in the Academies as they can be introduced whenever or at any time with the help of the GM. If you choose to have your character be a part of the Academy that is fine also.​

    18. Requirement: I require, the length is up to you but the minimum is, a paragraph of you using your character in some way engaged in some sort of scene or scenario, when you have finished your CS. this is a sign that you are both done and ready to have your CS checked. This can be background or it can be anything you desire, but this is to help me get a sense of your writing style and to help me plan for future events as well.

Personality: Although Jomisia seems like a cold hearted soulless husk, he actually cares very much for people. To the point where he's devoted his life to make sure that the gods don't become a threat to humanity. The lives he's had to take forever haunt him. The last thing Jomi wants to do is kill, but sometimes he doesn't have a choice. Deep inside, Jomisia is just as human as anyone else.

Originally being a rather upbeat person, Jomi had become a melancholy man who finds it hard to live a nice, normal life. The thing he wants the most. He still has his soft side. Of course his humanity hasn't completely deminished. Jomisia has a hard time displaying his emotions. He desperately wants people to understand his motives, and sympathize with his more inhuman actions.

Qin Description: As coming from the snowy mountians of Vale, Jomi is in tune with the chills of the region. The Qin primarily consists of snow, ice, and stone.
Qin Limits: All though his Qin focuses on stone, it's accuracy isnt very good. Precise movements are very difficult without properly taking time to shap the stone. The strength of the stones are entirely dependent on the surrounding earth.
Settlement: Opaim - A small town in the mountainous region of Vale. The House of Discovery is located at the center of the town. Inside, elders work tirelessly to work on transcribing ancient books, and researching ancient artifacts.
History: As a young child, Jomi was very active in his town, even occasionally helping the elders for sweets. His parents were part of the working force in the town's shopping district. Since they couldn't just leave their hyperactive child home by himself, so they would bring him with them and let him run around. One of the other vendors was a psychic medium, whom got most of her money from travelers and hunters; Mariana. After pestering her for a time, she caved in and gave him a private scrying.


When she looked into his future, she was a bit applaud. Jomi went from the happy child, to a depressed man. Mariana kept that from him, instead told him of his powers of Aura. The boys face gleamed in awe. There was a lot that she neglected to tell him. Especially the horrible things he would do to people in the future. The woman was a believer in that, with enough determination, the future could be changed. So she worked hard to make sure this boy was to be put into a better future. Sadly, in the end, Mariana's efforts were for naught.

Jomi was jealous of his friend's powers when he got older, so he went back to Mariana, who's time was coming to an end, as she had lived well past her expected life time. After collecting plenty of money, he was able to pay for her service this time. Since he was the closest thing to grandson she had, Mariana decided she would use the last of the power within her soul to help push the boy towards his aura. She channeled into him, unlocking Jomisia's aura. By mistake, part of her seer's power worked into Jomi. He caught a glimpse of another world. Dark and twisted, like hell incarnate. It seemed to be a dog eat dog world. It was almost like Jomisia was there. Suddenly, a eldritch mass came into his vision. It spoke to him.

"Man, what is its name? ... Hmm, fitting. It does not belong here. But I welcome its company. I am Ruilt Yut, god of this relm. As it might call this place... Abyss? Yes, that sounds right. Visitors like itself come only within a millennium, so conversing with one such as itself is a treat. But I am not here to talk of its home, rather, a revelation. Those who it worships, those who created it are vile. They hunger for power, so they greedily keep grip at what are called 'fragments.' These... insurances are a threat for its kind. Its gods are mad. If they're to decide that their reign is threatened, they will not hesitate to wipe the slate clean and start again. So I have a mission for it. Take these fragments, and destroy them. Do not hesitate. If another tries to stop it, do what must be done. Its mission is righteous, and should be treated as such. If it succeeds, it will be rewarded greatly. I will implant it with wisdom, but only in time will it understand what it means."

After his vision ended, Jomi stood in front of a deceased Mariana. His arm had been torn beyond function. Along with the various cuts and burns, were strange runes. Something that he'd never seen before. With all that happened within such a short time, he made an impulsive decision. Jomisia packed his things, and left to start his mission. But before leaving, he talked to the elders about his arm. Jomi refused to tell them where it came from, and they were unable to peer his mind to see the story. They determined it to be nothing, until a transcriber introduced himself. The old man told Jomisia that the runes were of an infinitely old language, one which he's spent over half his life translating. While reading it out loud, the man was getting visibly sick and in pain. All he could understand from it was "Key... kill... g-" The elder suddenly seized. Jomisia made his way out, leaving his home behind.

Years had passed since Jomisia started his mission. He believes he found the location of a fragment, and made his way there. The arm still hadn't held. He simply kept it in a sling. People in Jomisia's way were dealt with. Some people have began spread rumors of him being a ruthless murderer, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. He hated killing. The screams of pain of those whom he slayed keep him up at night. This is a scar that will never heal. There isn't a day that goes by where Jomi doesn't deeply regret what he's done.

But now, he was on his way to this fragment. Destination: Obelisk Acadamies.

Weapons: A spear that he can use to channel his Qin.

Personality:
At first glance, Terra seems like either uninterested in everything around her or lazy & a bit of an airhead. However, one thing that souldn’t fool you –especially in her case- is appearance. She is quite the clever and sly girl who knows how to use even bad first impressions to her advantage, in order to make her opponents drop their guard. She prefers to use her head before her fists, although she can pack a punch if she needs to.
Terra isn’t the best at socializing, due to never being around kids her age. She tries her best to fit it -she even throws bad puns here and there- but her secretive nature may make others reluctant to trust her ... and she’s a bit reluctant to trust others too. She knows that faunus are regarded as inferior by most humans, and hides her ears in order not to be judged. However, once she becomes a skilled Paladin -thus proving even a Faunus can be a great fighter- she wants to stop covering her ears with her hair ... yup, she likes proving people wrong. Also, she quite stubborn.

Terra can take on the appearance of any living creature - be it human, faunus or grimm - that she has seen before. However, this morphing is a mere illusion, meaning that in reality no changes are made to her physical appearance. Once the illusion starts, everyone around her –be it friend or foe- will see her as whatever she choose to shift into. This ability comes in quite handy, especially since it also mask her presence -including her emotional signature-, meaning Sensor types and Grimm have a hard time detecting her.
(Think of it as similar to the powers of Emerald from RWBY, but they can be used only on herself).

Qin Limits:
+Can be used to change only her appearence, it has no effect on the peoeple/things around her.
+The more "different" the thing/person she "transforms into" is from her usual appearance, the more difficult it is be to mantain the ilussion.
+Can only copy people/creatures she has seen before.
+Using it for a long perios of time/too often can give her a huge head-ache.​

Nuxvar is a small village located on the edge of Vacuo, near the border with Vale. Nuxvar is also knowk as the "Village of Redemption" thanks to half of its population being made of people who had to abandon their old life-style (e.g. Ex-Thieves, Ex-Paladins, etc.) and start anew.
The villagers usually follow the typical Vacuo midset: "We doesn't care what or who you are, as long as you don't cause trouble for everyone else and show you have the stuff to survive."
All in all, it's a nice place to live if you're looking for "peace and quiet."

History:
Terra was born and grew up in Nuxvar, together with her father, Achal, although she was basically raised by her goodmother,Ash. Her mother, Bern, was a Paladin who died in a fight against the Grimm when Terra was about two, so she doesn’t really remember her. After the loss of his wife, Achal became overly-protective and forbid his daughter from leaving the house alone, even if it was only for a short walk around the village.

Needless to say, Terra wasn't very happy with that decision. She tried to run away from home on several ocasions, but all of attempts ended in failure. It was all thanks to her goodmother she was able to get away, Seeing that she won’t have it any other way, Ash, an ex-Paladin who had to retire due to a severe injury, decided to secretly teach the girl how to fight and defend herself against the Grimm, so she wouldn’t become a walking snack once she set foot outside the village. It wasn't easy, doing that right under Achal's nose without him noticing, but the two were clever and sly enough to -somehow- pull it off.

When she was about fifteen, Terra finally unlocked her powers and, at the same time, came up with the perfect plan for running away. The rest of the time until she left was spent improving her fighting skills and Qin control; under her goodmother’s guidance, of course. Before she left, Terra had already decided she would follow in her mother’s footsteps and study at Beacon/Obelisk in order to become a Paladin. Once she accomplished that, she would return back home, proving to her father that she could take care of herself.

Qin Description
Armor Creation
The power to create Armor and manipulate it at free will, Ivan’s power is the ability to create and manipulate armor he makes from his own aura as well as manipulate any armor he himself is wearing currently. From offensive to defensive, Ivan can shift armor he creates at will; with this he can craft blades, shift gauntlets into claws, transform his armor into a literal suit of spikes, and minimize the overall damage done to his body by expanding the armor into various solid forms around him to create a suit of armor.

Part Manipulation
Is the ability that allows Ivan to manipulate any part of his armor. With this he can shift any part of his armor so long as he focuses on that specific part and change its form, shape, and size for either defensive purposes or offensive purposes.

Qin Limits
Solid-to-Liquid: Ivan's ability to create armor is like watching water freeze over. When he creates armor its as solid as anything else, but when he wants to shift it or alter it in anyway, his armor gains a transparent liquid like form, and loses all of its rigidness. This makes it extremely easy for Ivan to be hit with attacks of any form since when shifting his armor, his defenses or at their weakest.

No Buff-Ups: Ivan's power to create or alter his armor doesn't grant him any enhanced strength whatsoever. None of his armor's multiple forms have any sort of power suit capabilities, outside of slight adjustments and shifts he can make to allow him to utilize Dust like properties as projectiles, his suit is like any other suit of armor or protective gear.

Only His: While his power revolves around manipulating Armor, Ivan cannot manipulate other people's armor.

No Ki-Understanding:Does not know how to use Ki, which would have allowed him to create armor like creatures from his own armor.

Personality

Born in a environment where being happy with what one had when one had was an important part of life in a place like Mantle, Ivan is in no way shape or form happy that his home was destroyed during his time away at a Primary Combat School his parents had managed to get him into. While nowadays Ivan tends to be more quiet about his personal life and background, he in particular loves meeting new people, but is not the greatest at social conventions. He’s not oblivious, but he’s not exactly astute.

Awkward, yet not shy, not much of a talker but also can be really loud without realizing, Ivan likes humans and faunik and people of all sorts so long as you’re of ‘good stock’ as his father used to say, and are the type of person willing to work to get results.

While Ivan himself does not at first glance seem like the type of person who’d hold grudges, the truth is he’s the exact opposite. Holding grudges, and letting go of past aggressions is something he struggles with greatly. It’s not necessarily easy to offend him given his desired line of work, but it's not easy for him to forget and not act in less than pleasant ways towards those who have offended him, hurt his friends, or those he cares about. If anything, Ivan is of the emotional sort who still struggles to keep those emotions in check sometimes.

And if there’s anything particularly clear about him, it’s his horrible, deep rooted grudge against Grimm, something he vocally desires to rid the world of once and for all.


Bio

Early Life
Born to two farmers in the settlement of Kokichi, life wasn’t as horrible as one would think. Well, save for the occasional Grimm attacks that happened rarely every couple months to a year.

Ya see, Mantle isn’t exactly the place with the best economy. Ever since the switch from the Kingdom of Mantle to the Kingdom of Atlas, life there hasn’t been exactly easy. And Kokichi, a formerly prominent settlement in the kingdom is no longer as strong economically as it used to be.

Which is why as former agricultural contributors, the Sablich family suffered the most after the events of the Great War. Once owning acres of land, what they now had was nothing more than just four fields where they grew crops and made their living by selling what they grew off to Atlas.

This was life for a young Ivan, and while it wasn’t the greatest or the most affluent, it was home. And the people of Kokichi were pretty nice, decent people to make home feel just enough for a boy who saw himself doing greater things than spending his days out on the farm.

Changes
At 11 years old, a young pre-pubescent Ivan began to realize something about himself that he wasn’t entirely certain he wanted to admit. He wanted to leave home, and go out and become a Paladin.

But the viewpoint of his parents told the young boy that such a dream, was unreachable. Ivan, however, was determined. And that determination led him to a friend whose uncle was a retired Paladin that he begged for weeks to talk to his parents for him. Eventually, all that begging added up, and by the time he was 12, Ivan was able to confront his parents on what he wanted to do with his life.

They...weren’t too happy about it. The first thing his dad said was a flat out “No.” And then he walked away from the conversation.

But that didn’t stop Ivan. He was determined to make his parents see his passion. So he began training on his own. 5 a.m. was the usual time they woke up to do farm work, so he began waking up at 4. Working out early in the mornings till it was time to work out even more on the farm. When he felt that wasn’t enough, he went back to that uncle’s friend and begged him to train him. To give him the basics that he needed to get better at his goal so he could at least know what he wanted to do.

When his friend’s uncle gave in, his training began. For five months, every afternoon after school or on weekends when he wasn’t busy, Ivan would visit and his training sessions would begin. They were long and draining. Hours spent performing exercising then stopping to meditate, it was a frustrating process that made Ivan question if he was ever going to get anything out of this but time and time again, Mr. Phil said nothing but to keep practicing and wait and if no results had occurred by the end of those 5 months, he may as well give up.

Then one day, sitting there, grumbling and muttering as he mediated, Phil attacked him. An old man (old to Ivan) in his 50s, attacked a young boy and what amazed Ivan the most wasn't the fact that he had been able to dodge the spry guy, it was how high he managed to leap over him then land without a single fracture or injury.

It was right at that moment, Phil told Ivan, the real training would begin.

Program
Ivan's training with Phil took a turn in just a few days. From simple, daily drills of exercising, he went on to weapon practicing. How to hold a knife, how to use it, where to hold, how to grip, etc etc. And then the more interesting parts.

How to apply his aura to weapons, and how to apply it to himself. At 12 years old, Ivan, a boy, had no idea what he was doing. Excited, he was yes. But that excitement tended to get him over his head, in both the figurative and literal sense.

When his parents saw what he was doing one day...well, they weren't too happy. But, they did give in. So at 14 years old, Ivan began training in the TSF Program, as well as journeying back home every few weeks to train with Phil. During those times he often saw his parents very little. Sometimes it'd be once or twice every few weeks, sometimes it'd be three times in five months. It was only after he'd graduated the program and spent time outside of Mistral in Atlas for a year to prepare for the Guardian Exam, that he heard the news of what happened after he passed.

His home had suffered a Grimm attack. And the damage, from what his parents had told him over phone, would be costly.

It's funny really. Around the time his parents had called to tell him the bad news, he had also been excited to tell them good news. He'd gotten into Haven Academy. And while their conversation was bittersweet and the reunion a bit somber, Ivan's going away party was nice. Because he got something his mother had been keeping locked away for awhile.

A amulet. A necklace. Something his grandfather would've wanted him to have.

Relatives & Relationships
Marko: His father. They have a close relationship even if they’re differences do sometimes get in the way, they care for each other deeply.

Rachel: His mother. He will smack anyone who talks badly of his mother or even brings up a “momma joke’.

Phil: His mentor, and a man who was seriously injured during the Grimm attack on Kokichi. He's fine now, but he won't be training Ivan anymore, or playing those sparring games with him again.

Because of this, he has the ability to see with thermal vision, very clearly. However, to see normally, he must seriously strain his eyes, making his vision very blurry and dull. To compensate for this, he wears glasses which help somewhat with it. He was also born being able to speak Parseltongue, meaning he can communicate with snakes.

Appearance:
Reid is, unfortunately, quite underweight, by about 10 kilos (22 pounds). This gives him a somewhat gaunt appearance, with his cheeks being fairly hollow, and his ribs being very visible when his shirt is off. He also slouches a bit when he walks and sits. Otherwise, he's pretty good looking. His hair sweeps up and to the left, then falls back down over his left eye. He also wears thick, black glasses to compensate for his poor normal vision, due to his snake eyes.

Personality:
Reid appears quite docile to most people. And for the most part, they're right. He doesn't like to provoke people or start trouble... Usually. While he doesn't do it often, he is a very good liar. Without some form of detection powers or machinery or whatever, the vast majority of people wouldn't be able to tell fact from fallacy when it comes to Reid. His reptilian eyes are to blame for this. Because a lot of emotion reading and such comes from the eyes, it's very hard to decipher what Reid is thinking, or if he's telling the truth or not.

Regardless of whether or not Reid can lie, he's still a very sincere person when he needs to be. He'll always be there to talk to you in the middle of the night when you can't sleep, be your shoulder to cry on when you need one, or just be a friend to go out on the town with. Altogether, Reid is a pretty wholesome dude who knows his ins-and-outs of common courtesy.

Qin Description:
Basically, he's medusa, but less lethal.
When he uses his Qin, and someone looks him directly in the eyes, they (physically) can't look away. It's as if they're drawn to him. When they are trapped in his gaze, their vision is distorted and they begin to hallucinate, similar to being on LSD. However, if something breaks the gaze, (i.e. another person who isn't trapped in the gaze forcing the target to look away, making Reid close his eyes, or blocking the line of sight) then the power's effect breaks.

Qin Limits:
-Can easily be avoided by not looking him in the eyes
-Leaves him vulnerable, as he must also maintain the gaze
-He can't see what the other person is seeing when they hallucinate
-Using the power on more than one person quickly drains his stamina, making him very sluggish and weak
+The only ways to escape it is by outside intervention, or Reid growing weak
+He can use it on as many people look into his gaze, at the cost of using significantly more energy

Ramona’s attention is all over the place, too serious in battle but when the situation isn’t as serious, she is often lost deep in thoughts of any random thing that comes across her mind at the moment, from silly thoughts to pondering about her life. Much like the way she indiscriminately picks her books, cheap romance or obscure fact books are all fair game to her. In short, Ramona is an easy going person without strong opinions on many subjects. Consequently, Ramona makes friend easy, since there isn’t much reason to dislike her, nor is there any particularly good reason to like her as a close friend.

The second notable thing about Ramona is how she came to have the nickname “Whisperer”. It’s less for some cool reason relates to her past as an assassin, but more for the fact that Ramona is superstitious to a fault. Which is strange since religion is supposed to be scarce in this godforsaken land where Grimm and criminals roam the places, though for some whose life so miserable they tend to cling to any hope they can find. It’s not so different for Ramona. In a job that just a faint wind can turn an easy kill into a battle for your life, a curious cat can reveal your hiding place at the critical moment, you have to make any mental support possible to not run away.

Comrades tend to find Ramona whispering prayers to at least seven gods, to each in their own languages. Some are so obscure, only a few can name them, some are just urban legends that have never been named in the first place. A praying session couple with multiple charms and amulets is the bare minimum for Ramona before a mission.

The lawless settlement of Craw Valley was not a place like anywhere else. Violence and murder was the norm, you won’t even holding a grudge on your attempted murderer when almost everyone else would go for your head given some benefit was in place. Killing, stealing, deceiving are just normal skill sets, one can only consider themselves unfortunate being on the receiving end, shakes their head and goes on with their life, provided that they still had a head to shake or make angry noises. Ramona’s father was a typical and examplary citizen of Craw Valley, pillaging, murdering and paying taxes. But above every life lesson he had taught Ramona, he emphasized on taking care of your own family, for they are the only people you can truly trust your back to in this world. Ironically, it was his own wife who knifed him sixteen times on the back.

While Ramona’s father embraced everything that is Craw Valley, her mother never truly belonged in this place despite living there her whole life, not when she was young, not after the day she was forcefully made his wife. Among the bloodthirsty crowd, the woman stood strong, believed in repaying kindness with kindness, and helping the weak without ulterior motives. The moment her children had grown up enough to take care of themselves, to prevent their father from corrupting them any further, she killed the man she despised but had been living together half her life.

Although the eldest daughter, Ramona had already started to walk down the same path as her father and all other children of Craw Valley. Her talent was discovered by a local influential gang. After recruiting her, they put her through intense training until she came to master her two auras and the art of assassination. Joining the assassin squad, Ramona mainly took the jobs to eliminate the rival gangs’ important members, that is not to say that she had never put a bullet through an innocent head, but such was the life in Craw Valley, and saying “innocent” is pushing it when it comes to Craw Valley people.

Her mother obviously was against her decision to join the gang, and she had more and more taking after her father – cold blood in battle and willing to risk her life for the family. Her mother can no longer tolerate her when her younger brothers lost their lives trying to follow their sister, one died in a gang conflict, another went missing on a suicide newbie mission. Disowned by her mother along with the death of the younger brothers, Ramona seemingly had lost the everything she cherished in life. “Then go.” The mother said before her kneeling daughter, “Go to someplace far away from here and find a reason to fight that not just for your own life. Become someone I can call my daughter again.”

And so she left, to a faraway continent, where she applied to the academy, attempting to use her abilities in different ways. For what reason or ideal she didn’t know, but she was determined to find out. Her mother stayed in her homeland alone, but she knew that as long as that woman still holds on her ideal, she would still stand strong even if the sky were to fall down. Ramona strived to find such an ideal so that she can be like her mother.

Ramona heightens her sense with Sensor Aura, then focus her Disruptor Aura’s power on her target in distance with her gunpoint, which is an easy task for a sniper, by doing so, she sacrifices the complexity and the radius of effects to extend it to longer distance.
The first effect is a loud shattering noise that only the target can hear, which freezes them in one place, giving her more than enough time for the kill shot.
The second effect makes herself completely invisible from one enemy.

History:

Growing up a daughter of 2 miners in the outskirts of the Mantle City. Kerym and her family lived somewhat peacefully on the outskirts of town. Not being much of a miner and wishing more out of life. She went to learn if she had powers potential. After joining the military and being trained in basic tactics she had some downtime before being moved to Atlas academy she was with her parents.


With a month of downtime she had to help her parents in the mines, something she found pitifully easy after the intense and disciplined training in the military. One of those innotable days something bad happened on the walk there.


Passing by a used up mineshaft a Grimm attacked the family of 3, cutting down both her parents right in front of her. She had no time to react, no time to fight nor the weapons. When she turned to run she found herself across the forest in an instant. Away from it all. She ran home, ran to get the Paladins.


Kerym reported it but found no retribution. Instead they didn’t believe her, she was only 17 and the things she described sounded far out. Even for a Grimm’s standards. That day she went home with no parents, full of building resentment against the Paladins of her town. When the call for higher training called at the end of the month. She refused it and decided to go on her own quest.


Kerym knew she had a better purpose, a higher calling. Above the Paladins and Sentries, above that stupid order. She had to hunt the beast. She was an inexperienced but ready to do anything it took. She learned as it went on, of course the hard way was not the best way.

All of the dumb luck couldn't stop her lack of experience showing. She was tricked and later caught by slavers. She was sold off to a brothel where she stayed for a year and six months. In a depressive slump, which only went away and morphed into extreme rage of her situation as time went on. After extreme aggression she was once again sold to somewhere more fitting for her attitude. An illegal arena.

There she stayed for a mere six months, making a name for herself and training herself to use her awakened aura. Not the best place for Kerym in the slightest, it was only good as an outlet for her anger. While most spared their opponents, she was one of the stars of the show for the reason that she executed almost everyone that stepped into her ring. People loved the bloodshed that some simply could not give to the crowd.

Her goal was to ultimately escape. She still wanted to find that Grimm that put her into this, not sink into a pit of bloodshed. Though the life was decent with the nice armor and weapons (Which she kept very well care of). she was still in a cage every night. Taking commands and training with her handler every day. One day she broke out of the cage she slept every night, and in the crime report her handler was pincushion with 13 arrows.

After making her way out of the forsaken arena and calling the paladins there to take care of it. . . hopefully better than the last time she asked for their help. She went back to her hometown to find it changed. The two paladins she asked to help here were gone, replaced by two new paladins and her parents house had long been sold. Along with all of her stuff that she left there hoping to return after she had fulfilled her 'quest'.

With no more need to stick around besides nostalgia Kerym slithered and blinked her way across Atlas to track the old Grimm that had been the center of her obsession. She found it in it's cave. 3 arrows later and the pitiful Grimm fell down with a thump.

The Grimm faded away into dust and she found nothing but cold reality hit in the following week. There were no trophies to collect from the Grimm, she found herself traveling back to her hometown empty handed and with nothing but her bow and blade at 19. She turned to mercenary work as her one skill at this point that she could rely on.

This carried on for around 3 months and Kerym hit 20 years old finding herself in the Town of Minstal. She was approached by a figure telling her about a gang who would accept mercenaries like her. She lacked a lot of needed skills in most normal life. So with that she worked with the Valiere’s gang on the side, as they always had a job for her. Even if it was not the best paying.


She got well acquainted in Minstral after years of working there with Valiere’s gang. Getting a house towards the edge of the village and making contacts. Having stayed there for 3 years now.

Kerym in her extensive combat experience started carrying four weapons.


  • On her back is a 6 ft spear with a 1'6" spear head that is broad bladed and sharp. With a thin tip for stabbing. The spear handle is black with a grooved handle for extra grip. Combining her snake-like body that allows her to lunge far. This allows her to defend her long body and lunge far to engange.
  • Wields 2 short daggers held on the back of her waistband. Fortified steel imbued with Dust. Each dagger Is sharp to the touch and Shaped in a way to be able to catch blades when parrying. Meant to be backup weapons.
  • On Kerym's back she has a large steel bow and arrows. The dust reinforced spring steel bow that has a draw weight of 175 pounds. A standard heavy arrow travels at 275 mph and has a relatively flat trajectory compared to most bows. The sound the bow makes when the string is released is very loud for a bow. Making a small boom as the steel retracts so fast. The cord is dust reinforced steel cord.
    • The arrows are often laced with a dust of some sort. They can do nearly anything dust can do but it is expensive and she can't launch them like they cost pennies.

  • Is also able to bind people up and crush them in her coils with extreme amounts of force.

Skills:

  • Skilled duelist and monster hunter. Kerym knows many forms of fighting, knowing how to use her body to fight effectively.
  • A combat tactician, Kerym knows how to adapt and what to do when fighting.
  • While not a people person, Keym knows what to prod at a person to make them tick.
  • Knows how to move lightning fast, however climbing is difficult without blinking.

Jean is oft described by many as an excitable and enthusiastic young lady who pursues her interests with a good amount of healthy ardour. Her hot bloodedness almost always has her at the frontlines, and her most commonly used tagline when asked why she likes to get up close and personal is “Face is the place.”. While certainly hilarious, she thrives in melee combat, and tends to lose herself in an adrenaline-fueled dance of flame and blades.

That having been said, however, Jean also exhibits plenty of traits a treasure hunter ought to have. For all her verve and dynamism, she is fully capable of stepping back and observing, and she has a distinguishing eye for details. It has been commented on that she is one of the more unnerving members of her squad, after the looming giant that is Alexander, with an eye that seems to pierce through whatever veil of lies anyone tries to put up against her. She is known to be able to use her words to upset a person’s emotional equilibrium. She admits that oftentimes, she’s just going by her guts, and she’s just bluffing her way through verbal confrontations. It’s just how she seems to stare straight into someone’s soul when she’s doing just that.

She stands by that she ‘bluffs’, and never ‘lies’. Those are two different things. By her own admission, ‘lying’ is a defensive tactic to cover up your own sins, while ‘bluffing’ is an offensive tactic to break lies apart.


Socially, she seems to be an amiable young lady. She’s plenty easy going, and friendly. She gets along pretty easily with anyone and everyone. Due to her current allegiances, she treats everyone in the Academy as a friend and an ally (until further notice), but even then, she treats opponents with respect and amiability. She chats casually with everyone, and seems to never stand in ceremony with people. It is notable that she seems to keep a strange emotional space between others, and occasionally, it gets difficult to know exactly what she is thinking.

In Marquis, the main trade of the population was in mercantile. The next best thing was to poke their noses in anywhere and everywhere, i.e. treasure hunters. Located smack dab right in the middle of nowhere (a joke perpetuated by its locals due to it being neither too far from the nearest city over to be unreachable, or too near to be comfortable), Marquis specialises in acquisition and trade of rare items and materials. Rumors abound that if you needed something, there was a good chance you could find it in the black markets of Marquis. And if you couldn't, you could buy a sword and a guy behind it in Marquis to go look for it.

History:
A Saviour, a seeker of Magic Items for the good of this world. Prior to their enlistment into the Academy as a Sentry, she operated with three other Saviours as a squad, before, due to unknown reasons, the four of them split up and went to different parts of the world.

Jeannette Silver was orphaned at an early age, early enough that she couldn't remember her parents’ faces or names. What she did remember was that she was taken in by the Hawkins family, and raised alongside their own child, Jamie. Despite being an outsider, Jean was raised with the same love and care as their own child. As a result, both girls grew up like sisters, and ended up sharing the same dream.

Initially, both girls started out working at the Hawkin’s inn, the Admiral Benbow Inn, but they had long been besotted with the idea of traveling the world, in search of adventure and thrills, and both entertained the thoughts by practicing with makeshift weapons, Jamie with a spear, and Jamie with a sword. When Giant Alexander Smollett came to Marquis one day, seeking adventurers to join him on a journey to locate a Magic Item, both girls pounced on the idea, joining him, along with a Faunus rifleman by the name of Jason Trelawney. Noting that the two girls had yet to tap into their Auras, during their travels, Alexander took it upon himself to awaken their potentials, dragging his Faunus sniper into the ordeal as well.

The squad eventually built a rapport amongst each other, and would later end up solidifying as a proper ‘reclamation’ squad for interested parties. Alexander introduced the three youths to the Saviours, and when none of them responded with hesitation, with both sisters excitedly accepting the initiation test that the Saviours were to put on them, they were sent on their first reclamation ops under the Saviour name. There was a minor bump in the road, courtesy of some Grimm, and a group of mercenaries hired to protect the quarry, but those were but just that- bumps on the road. Leaving charred bodies in her wake, Jean claimed the item in question, and with that, the squad retreated back to the Saviours.

Jean’s squad operated under the Saviours for a while longer, until recently. Due to unknown circumstances, Jean, Jamie, Jason, and Alexander split up, dissolving their group. The other three disappeared off to other places, while Jean wandered over to the Haven Academy. The Saviours’ prior connections to the Paladins and her capabilities more than proved her able to participate as a Sentry. As it stands, she is under some surveillance.

Qin Description:
Pyrokinesis at its most destructive. Jean can create fluid, moving, almost lifelike constructs of fire, her favorite being a dragon, to raze entire areas down within seconds, in addition to the bog standard fireballs and not so standard infernos. She primarily channels her Aura through her spearmanship, and one can somewhat tell what kind of attack she may pull by taking note of how she swings her spear. She can also do the same without her spear, but finds it harder to think up of ways to channel her Aura.

Qin Limits:
Not very friendly fire proof. Will burn anything and anyone. Fire consumes all.
The flame obscures sight. This works as a double-edged sword, as it blocks both Jean’s sight, as well as her opponent’s.
Suffers from the same weaknesses as regular fire. It must be noted, however, that sprinkling water on it amounts to just creating a lot of steam. Suffocating the flame seems to work much better. That, or boatloads of water.
As per the norm of Emitter Auras, Jean is unable to control fire outside of her own creation, and must literally fight fire with fire should it come to clashes with another pyrokinetic.

A spear of made of gold and an unknown cerulean mineral. The gem that makes up a good part of the spear is durable and strong enough to function as steel would, allowing it to clash and even deflect other weapons and projectiles without danger to itself. The samesaid mineral channels her Aura easily, acting as a conductor of sorts and allows her to channel her Aura in different means.

Jamie Hawkins: A young lady with whom Jean is rather close with. Both went into treasure hunting business together. Their relationship is more likened to sisters. She and Jean are like two peas in a pod- excitable, peppy, and hot-blooded. She wields a sword made of the same materials as her sister’s spear in battle, and has a black-blue Aura.

Alexander Smollett: A Giant treasure hunter who served as their squad’s leader when it was active. It is debatable if Jean sees him as a father figure or a big brother figure. Described as gruff and rough around the edges, he speaks only in grunts and roars in battle. He was rumored to never have transformed in battle, using his ‘human’ form for a good amount of the time, and still triumphed over many a foe. Was said to have been part of the Legendaries. Wields a giant scythe in battle, and has a black Aura.

Jason Trelawney: A Faunus man who was part of the crew. He was a skilled rifleman, and provided the other three who were primarily close-ranged combatants without transforming weapons, with much-needed cover fire. A fairly level-headed man, he kept the hot-blooded trio with him in check as much as he could, but was said to have indulged in their antics once in a while. Despite being older than the girls of his squad, he is treated more like a younger brother. Wields a transforming rifle (between a long-ranged sniper, and short-ranged shotgun) in battle, and has a yellow Aura. He seems to be in a romantic relationship with Jamie.

Amelia and Garrett Hawkins: Adoptive parents and parents of Jamie Hawkins. A couple who run the Admiral Benbow Inn in Marquis. Rumors abound about who they were prior to starting the inn business.

Personality:
He can be know to be a bit shy mainly if he is in large groups however he can be way more open if he is speaking with one person or he is in fighting anyone. He usually spends most of his time sleeping and the occasional stealing every now and then. He is usually pretty truthful but will sometimes only give out half truths mainly if the info he is giving is suppose to be a secrete though, but on the few occasions he does lie its usually to play a joke on someone or cause someone asked him to say it. He is also kinda aloof and rarely ever cares about other people unless he considers them to be a best friend of his. He also usually doesn't try to kill others unless he considers a person a target, but if anyone did try to fight him he would likely try to kill due to him being about hopeless when it comes to hand to hand combat. He usually loves hot climates and has a extreme hate towards cold areas so much that he would refuse to fight or do just about anything in them. He is also a expert at masking one side of him with politeness, kindness and by acting incredibly naive this is usually so people won't suspect him if he does something bad. He is also known to be a good yet devilish type of cook, although the food he cooks is quite good when he is actually cooking food it would be best to stay out of his kitchen.

He sets his loyalty into people he likes and trusts and is usually always willing to follow a superiors orders but may be quite annoyed if situations turns into a more complicated one. He hates making tough decisions and would prefer to let people that he considers his boss or friend make tough decisions for him ,mainly so they can take the blame if it was a bad one instead of him. He has a tendency to only provide info on what he knows about something if someone asks him directly. He is really blunt with things and is terrible at picking up social hints or social ques until they make it extremely obvious. He is also a bit of a sociopath mainly when it comes to others he does not see as his best friend, he is willing to kill just about anyone if they aren't his best friend though. He can be very calm most of the time but can be easily upset if someone bothers him too much which would make him way more hostile in retaliation. He is also known to be way more hostile, cruel or even deadly if someone gets him frustrated or he gets riled up in a fight making him more chaotic. In fights he usually enjoys killing targets that put up a decent fight which is the main reason he agreed to become a assassin in the first place.

Laffington - This city is full of mostly humans with only a few Fauniks, it is known for its hot weather and great hunting spots, which has attracted alot of hunters. Due to the mass amount of hunters being outside and near the town is considered a bit unsafe mainly to Fauniks since some hunters would actually consider to hunt them as well. The village is known to be right in the middle of a woodland area and is usually used by traders and travelers as a shortcut to get to certain locations giving it a decent sort of traders market. Although it is a bit risky to go onto the Laffington routes the mayor is mostly trying to make the routes safer by setting out guards to deal with bandits who like to use the woodland area as cover in order to rob unsuspecting travelers.

Qin Description: Is able to manipulate crimson energy, really hot energy that allows him to utilize crimson energy to attack, make him faster and give him high tolerance to heat, although he mostly uses his power of crimson energy to a few main moves although he could use crimson energy to a wider extent if he really wanted to.

Favorite Moves:
(Crimson Blade - Can flow his aura into a bladed weapons making the blade of it turn into a Crimson color making the weapon more powerful and enabling him to use his special energy attacks with it.
Crimson Slash - Is able to release a cutting energy wave that will cut threw just about anything from a distance.
Crimson Blast - Is able to release a energy wave that can harm and push back anyone or thing thats with a certain radius.
Hell Annihilation - Can stab his weapon into the ground causing a torrent of energy to shoot up decimate anything that's within a medium length range.
Crimson Knive - Can conjure a bunch of red energy knives and lunge them forward to a target.
Crimson Coat - Surrounds himself in Crimson red aura allowing him to move at speeds that can make him appear as a blur, allowing him to run on water and most dodge attacks almost effortlessly although his body temperature is way hotter as well.

Qin Limits:
- Crimson blade requires a bladed weapon in order to be used.
- Hell Annihilation requires the crimson blade to be planted in the ground, his hand on the weapon and has to be in the ground for 5 seconds before being able to be released it will also turn the ground red if its in range, Is only able to be used once a day too.
- Crimson Coat takes quite a bit energy to maintain and is very tiring.
- Crimson Knives can only move forward like a bullet forward and disappear 3 seconds after it hits something.
- Crimson Blast when the blast is released the crimson blade is cancelled out and he would have re put more energy into the blade.
- Crimson Slash can be blocked by anything that's as strong as bladed steel.
- Most of his Crimson energy attacks takes up his energy and can leave him exhausted if he uses it for too long or just too much.
- His high heat tolerance is still limited and wouldn't be able to tolerate the heat of something thats hotter than a candle.
