A Fantasy Roleplay about Singing and Swinging


Synchronize is a roleplay about monster kids who are all a part of a music group sensation, but are also the top league of assassins and hostile monster hunters!


When a rival group rises and missions start to lessen in supply, what will your character do? It'd be like modern day Earth, but instead of earth it's some sort of "monster" planet. The music would be pop, but they are capable of genres like jazz and such. Between celebrity drama, keeping their identities a secret, dealing with fights, and the threat of losing both of their double lives, it seems like things aren't going great for the gang.

The time was 0900 and not a second after the alarm rang was there a loud cracking sounds.

The door to the hotel room was broken open with a sudden crack. LUCI 2 Walks into the room, followed by LUCI 3, 4, 5 and 6.

"Good Morning Everyone!" Luci 2 proudly announces, clapping loudly and entering the room, followed by the others, who proceed to takes blankets off of people. "We have a lot of preparation today. When you finally ready after your eternity, we'll give you news updates on stuff, and you get to choose which Luci will accompany you for the remainder of the trip."

Luckily for Mason, he woke up at 8 everyday. So he'd had an hour or so to prepare before the Luci's came crashing in.


He'd showered, brushed his teeth, and gotten into some fresh new clothes. He was sitting on his bed flipping through a notebook with a pen in his hand when the alarm went off and the gang of Luci's broke down the door. Mason sighed, but gave a small smile. Luci was an interesting gal.. girls. Plural. It still took him a while to wrap his head around that.


"Morning. I'm basically ready." He said with a yawn, closing the note book and putting the pen on the nightstand. One might have recognized it as his lyric book. It was filled with odd ends and near bursting at the seams, stained and wrinkled and worn out. He'd need to get a new one soon. "Why do you always have to break down the door? I'm not paying for damages." Mason shook his head. "Just give me whatever Luci's left over. I don't really care." As always.

Isabella was reading a magazine under the covers until her reading session came to a halt when LUCI yanked the blanket off. Her eyes lit up when she heard that they would get to choose a LUCI to be by her side for the rest of the trip, even if she didn't have a particular one in mind. "How you guys find the funds to replace so many doors is a mystery to me." I'm ready too!" She said, beginning to unbraid her hair. @CloudyBlueDay

Alexis woke with a rush, she hadn't gotten much sleep the night before due to the excitement of the day ahead so she found herself a bit tired. But, all of her sleepiness was gone as she heard the sharp crack come from the door way. She sat straight up, worried for a moment about what it could be, before realizing that it was only Luci... Er, Luci's.


"Hey!" She exclaimed as her blanket was taken from her, "its cold in here man!" She pulled up the sheet higher over her legs to protect them from the sudden rush.


She looked and saw Mason was already awake, as usual. She stretched and said tiredly, "I'm gonna need a little but to get ready, shouldn't take me long though. Also yeah just gimmie whoever, I guess it doesn't make a difference does it?" (I'll add all the fun speach stuff when I'm not dying on mobile)

Once sleeping, Marley snapped awake, his pupils large with shock for a moment before he came fully too. He rose from his position on the floor, stretching his legs and then his arms above his head, a heavy yawn escaping him before he was filled with an electric energy. "Oh, hey Lucis..." His tail flicked up, "S'it time to go?" He spoke, his voice laced with a groggy undertone, he glanced about himself. He didn't need time to get ready, unlike some of the others, other than time for eating and waking up, that is. He scratched his lower back, ears swiveling to listen to the speech surrounding him.

Alexis stretched and cracked her neck. She got out of bed and wondered how everybody could get ready so quickly. She had taken a shower the night before, so that was checked off her list. She brushed her teeth and quickly did her hair as quickly as she could, not wanting to keep people waiting. She threw on some sweatpants and a random t-shirt that he honestly didnt even look at. But she figured the sweat pants alone would make it clear enough that she wasn't exactly trying to look beautiful. The whole process took no more than 15 to 20 minutes, and once she was done she sat back down on her bed, and waited for what to do next. "Well I'm ready whenever anyone else is!"

Phil awoke, already seeing people moving around . Sitting up, he looked around and said "Well, i'm early, aren't i?". Crawling out of his bed, he remarked "Well I'm gonna go freshen up, i'll be ready in just a moment." Going into the bathroom of the hotel room, he brush s a hand through is hair, and thought about the day ahead. "Well, we're all getting LUCI units? Interesting, I guess." Pulling on a shirt, Phil strolled back into the main hotel room, and St down on one of the beds. "Sooooo..." He asked, met with a brief but awkward silence, "Where's our first gig of the trip?"

Mako opened her eyes, sat up and yawned. She rubbed her eyes and looked at everyone else. She then got up and went into the bathroom. "Morning guys!" She said as she headed into the bathroom. She brushed her teeth washed her face jumped in the shower then got dressed. She put on her short black dress and black boots. She then came back out and stretched out her arms. "Alright! Let's get this day started!'" She said with a grin on her face and her hands on her hips.

As some began to get ready, LUCI 2 and 5 both approached each other and began to retrieve the news needed for the update.


LUCI 3 and 4 addressed Mason and Isabella. "The funds we get for the doors are small in comparison to our income as a group."


"And if you don't want to pick a LUCI that's fine. I'm not going to force you two."


LUCI 6 looked over to Phil and answered, "That'll be all announced in the news."


As they finished settling, the 5 LUCIs sat in a line on a table, smiling. LUCI 2 gave a brief bullet point list, mentioning things like the always perfect weather of their location: Los Angeles. The Angel Capital of the World. It was a heavenly meet where most clubs and heavenly temples were located, but separated by a huge invisible street border. "You won't have much to do today, but as I will make sure, you will have to have all of your gear setup for the performance tonight. We're doing set up 7 today, but don't worry about that too much. If you have any problems with equipment, instruments, or yourself, let us know. People here are already super uncomfortable with there being a demonic takeover machine in their close quarters, so we don't need to ruin anything tonight."


"Additionally," LUCI 3 Added, "we there's some new band called Ripples and their music seems pretty nice. Check it out if you want. Lady Marniac, my boss, is very interested in them."


"And lastly," LUCI 4 began, "Immediately after your performance, we have to head out to Sector 5 of Los Angeles in the temple and residential district. People live here and it's very hush hush, so be careful. This is a containing project and I still have to fix everything up back at the show while you run out. LUCI 6 will be your escort for this adventure. LUCI 6 will manage the securing project after you're done, so don't worry about what happens after. Just don't get noticed and don't get caught."





"Now... Feel free to pick a Luci." LUCI 5 said, smiling, each of them sitting in a uniform fashion along the table.

Mako looked at LUCI 5. "Well then I'll take LUCI 5." She said still looking at all of them. She stretched out her arms. She was excited for this band. Mostly because she just loved singing in general it was just fun for her. She looked at the others waiting for them to pick a LUCI.

Isabella nodded in agreement, the funds for paying for the broken doors don't make too much of a dent in their profit. She sat with her legs crossed, listening to what the LUCIs has to say. It was exciting to be in the angel capital of the world, even though she knew that angels never cared too much for vampires like herself. "Ripples... What a weird name..." She muttered under her breath, wanting Lady Marniac should be interested in only her band, but she didn't mind a bit of competition. Marley had a bright smile on his face, excited to be playing another day. The work always exhausted him and they'd been losing some of their following to this so-called 'new band', but he had faith in the band's ability. He began tediously cracking all fingers with open palms, bending them until they popped, loosening all of his joints a bit before wiggling his fingers.


LUCI 3, LUCI 4, and LUCI 5 were going with Phil, Mako, and Isabella "Okay, then I'll take Luci 2!" He'd like to say he favored this LUCI and that was how he chose, but really, he was a tad ocd and wanted to balance out the numbers.


He yawned again and cracked his neck, releasing a disturbingly loud popping sound.

Alexis listened intently to the information. She was excited about today, she loved performing, and the fact that she had practically the rest of the day to do whatever she wanted excited her even more.She raised her eyebrows at the mention of a different band, she'd have to take a look at their music.


As she watched all the Lucid get called off in turn she waited till everyone was done choosing "guess that leaves me with number six then!" She didn't care much about which one she got, and we content that she didn't have to decide for herself

Another band, huh? He wondered if they'd give the band a run for their money.


Mason watched as people snatched up Luci's of their choice, only then did it dawn on him that there were only five. Luci number one was almost always off limits, so Mason shrugged. "I guess I'm without a Luci? Unless number 1 wants to grace us with her appearance." Mason joked. Even when he submitted lyric ideas for new songs he often did not see the head Luci. "It's fine. I can handle myself."


"You should tell head Luci I've got some new song ideas, though. When you get the chance." Mason added.

"I'll take LUCI 3" Phil said. Phil really wanted to hear about what this new band was. He wondered if it was this new rival band that he despised oh-so-much.


"I'll look into that new band sometime today". Phil was also excited to look around in Los Angeles. Ever since he was fresh off the production line, he'd seen Los Angeles as a sort of must-visit city. And finally, with his band, he had gotten the chance to. Turning to Mason, talking about writing some new songs, he remarked, "Make sure you get a nice guitar solo for me into one of them. The crowd loves 'em."
