Esme Ivy Woods
full
Name: Esme Ivy Woods

Age: 21

Height: 5'6" (168cm)

Figure: Slim

Personality: Esme doesn't appear as a friendly individual. It isn't that she isn't capable of being friendly, but rather that she doesn't go out of her way to socialize with random people. She isn't shy or reserved like some assume due to her lack of interaction with others, she just prefers to be left to her own devices. She's a fairly laid back person regarding most things, but she does have a small temper when the right buttons are pushed. She isn't one to shy away from confrontations or call people out on their bullshit when she sees it. It never really made her a popular person in high school, but she never cared about that to begin with.

Esme is a loyal and protective friend - to those she considers her friends at least - and can be judgmental of others, though she is often self-critical as well. She is far from being infallible though and has made a few incorrect assumptions and mistakes before. It's hard for her to apologize to others, with the only exception being those she is particularly close to.
However, if a friend were to ever betray Esme, they would find it difficult to repair the damage to the relationship.

She hates to lie, but will do so if it is necessary. Her opinions and overall manner can come across very blunt because she doesn't bother with the normal pleasantries of social interactions. Esme dislikes the nonsense of having to pretend to be something she's not in order to gain superficial friends.

Quick History: Esme is the only daughter of a single mother. She's never met her father due to the fact that her mother was in college when she was knocked up by her boyfriend of the time (who obviously didn't stick around). Esme's mother raised her along with Esme's grandmother after returning to her hometown. There was nothing extraordinary in Esme's life. She was a normal child and grew up as a normal girl. She did normal things; shopping, partying, boyfriends, studying, and everything else that one would expect of a college student. She didn't believe in anything supernatural, so when she met her roommate, she was constantly barraged with all sorts of new age nonsense; Wiccan spell books, healing crystals, Tibetan healing bowls. If it was new age her roommate was into it.

RP notes
Worked as bartender at a club; Gunmetal
Studies; Journalism with a minor in Anthropology
Esme fudged up the summoning, so;
until both parties agree that they no longer have a need/desire to work together, they could constantly renegotiate their situation without having to go through the whole process of making another Pact.
Seal
rarely used sealing spell meant to contain an individual's magical talent/abilities.
usually reserved for criminals
flawed due to alterations
Put in place by fairly powerful/skilled person
More for magical suppression/protection

Vzink - insect analog native to the Demon world. Resembles a cross between a honeybee and a dragonfly. Exudes a foul smelling chemical when agitated. Acts as that world's primary pollenator.

Chaktarini - Currently translated as 'The Unworthy'. The original translation was 'The Uninfluenced'. Demonic abilities are sorted into Clans/Houses based on their specific magical Talents. A member of one Clan/House could have a trace of another Clan/House's abilities based on parentage, but never more than a trace. Chaktarini have a measure of the abilities of ALL of the Clans/Houses. They can never advance past Master in any Clan/House's Talent, but they can, with practice, call on any Talent at Master rank or below if they have found someone to teach them.

(Note : Magical power is inborn, but the training ranks are Apprentice, Master, and Adept.)

Ignore this, testing something X3

Lol failed at all saves! ABORT ABORT x3 Testing the dice cause y'know.

S'ynivekt - Literally translated as 'The Corrupted'. The demon word for a half-breed born from the union of a human and a demon. They are considered less than the mindless 'Beastials' that the Houses use as their shock troopers in battles.

Making a backup XD
Getting ready to unload lore~ Gonna start up a list for things to note down, but clearly not in order.

Vere t'hagar would translate into 'mother-fucker', t'haga into 'fuck', and zesh into 'shit'."

For instance an insult on my world would be to call someone a 'ixilta' or just 'ixi'. The ixilta is a scavenger beast that lives on, and within, the excrement of a large beast on my world. In human words I suppose you'd be calling someone a 'shit eater', and that doesn't even take into account that the ixilta's main defense is being so foul smelling and tasting that no self-respecting predator will eat one, even if starving. And don't even think about calling someone an Ixi t'hagar. That would get you challenged to a duel

Zia'helleva - goodnight?

Nope, but good guess.. Wind to thy wings.

In the instance that it was used, it means Sweet dreams, or Wind speed thy dreams.. It’s a multiple meaning phrase depending on when it’s said.

Dang, I was close though!

*urge to fix this code mess rising* I do not like this code sir, no I do not.
