I am on a quest for a long term RP partner for the summer, maybe even longer.

  1. Please, please oh please, be active. And by this, I mean every day or every other day. I'm only looking for 1 (max 2) people, so I would prefer someone active.
     
  2. I don't expect us to match post lengths, but if you are a detailed kind of guy/gurl, I will match your length. But please try to avoid one-liners.
     
  3. Romance would be the main focus of the plot, but rules still apply. Definitely fade to black when needed.
     
  4. I don't prefer anime/cartoon picture refrences for characters. Something drawn/described/realistic is fine, but anime just isn't my thing...

  1. Someone who will actively participate in building the world and plot. OOC chat is also very much welcome, I love chatting and PMs ^^
     
  2. English is not my first or second language, so do expect mistakes (even though I do my best to avoid them). I would only ask for no text writting, and the correct use of things like your/you're is very welcome.
     
  3. I'm looking for someone active, which means at least 1 reply a day/every other day. If you have to go somewhere or on vacation, I understand - it is summer after all. Just give me a heads up first.
     
  4. Someone who likes romance RPs, as romance and things like drama and adventure will be the center of the story.

  Futuristic, Romance, Arranged Marriage
  
  
  The setting is North America, starting with the year 2601. It's been 500 years since the new Law was accepted, so this year will surelly be full of festivites.
  
  
  In this world, every person is paired with their match at the age of 18. Their match can be any boy/girl from the country born on the same year, and the pairs are made with the computer program called NAPS - the New Age Pairing System. After that it goes through the Court for approval (they mostly just put a stamp saying 'yes' on everyone). The program calculates the best match for physical and mental/intellectual traits. At the age of 18, all young adults are interviewed and then sent into the region's Grand Hall. The only thing that differes one Hall from another is the name - Grand Hall of Washington, Grand Hall of Ohio... There, the pairs are announced, and the children say goodbye to their families, as they won't see them until they are approved for visits. They are then sent on a high-speed train and shipped off to their new home. After giving the couple some time to adjust to the new life (usually 2 months), they start sending over government officials to see if everything is going fine. This is also when they present them with their new jobs, wether they are allowed to have visits or not, and how many children they will have. (They usually give them a minimum, but it is not uncommon to get a specific number).
  
  
  Here's where our characters fit in. They're two childhood friends. Well.. more like enemies. They've never liked each other (or so it seems), but they've been paired up and are shipped off to their new life. After some time, things become a lot more... tolerable and sparks begin to fly. The tricky part begins when they escape the comfortable lives and seek vengence, after their newborn baby is stolen from them - saying it wasn't born on schedule, and was supposed to be born in a couple of years. So, they seek vengence, and as the 500th anniversary is comming up, the festivities offer a wonderful distraction...

  The whole stolen baby thing is just an idea to keep the plot moving. It is
  
  
  optional and can be removed/moved time-wise to whenever it seems right.
  
  
  The city/state of the RP can be anything in North America.
  
  
  The plot is always open for ideas, tweaks, suggestions...
