Clumsy and a bit shy, Miemi rarely stands out and doesn't have very many friends. In fact, she struggles pretty much in life; always making people mad at her when she only means well. She has a constant fear of talking to others and goes into a flustered fit when the time comes. To make things worse, her hobby of writing blog articles about history is often ridiculed on the Internet. She is fond of saying the words "How unpleasant!" when agitated. Miemi is not very good at lying as whenever she's saying something not very honest, she normally takes off her glasses and cleans them with a piece of cloth while avoiding looking at the person whom she's talking to.

E R S O N A L I T Y:

Keiichi may initially seem calm and composed, but he is in actuality quite comical in a sense that he sometimes lets his confidence get the better of him. He is a hardworking and determined person and is a perfectionist to an extreme. Although he may not show it, he greatly appreciates his and members with all his heart. Like Kanade and Daisuke, Keiichi is wealthy, with parents owning a large business that he will eventually inherit. This made him spoiled, stoic, and even a bit elitist. He is overly logical and analytical, always taking the theoretical approach to every single thing (such as walking to school, or ordering food, or even when conducting). Even though his personality differs greatly from Kanade's, they have a decent relationship with each other, "lending" members to each other when needed. Though he would never admit it, he has a crush on Kanade and likes to show his affections by being a gentleman (opening doors, paying for things) and through semi-tsundere actions.

He has a strong sense of duty, and never breaks promises. Satoshi is protective over those he cares about. Upon discovering that his wife was pregnant, he stopped smoking almost instantly.   Everyone at work considers Ueno to be a total bitch. She complains non-stop and always puts herself before others. The number one person on her hit-list, is Tagadashi Ishiki. Ueno is obsessed with cats, and pictures of them can be seen hanging around her office at all times. She hates old people, and can't stand gays. Ueno has bee to jail before for four months due to beating her last boyfriend (He was abusive). The only reason she has been allowed the job she has, is because her father is good friends with Satoshi Oguro.   Kusanegi is slightly naive, but can also be serious and calculating when he wants to. Eiji tends to act conceited because he is hailed as a genius; however, after working on projects for long periods of time, he grows more humble, even claiming to not be "good enough of a Mangaka to be judging other people's work." Kusanegi shows great respect for his favorite authors, calling them sensei regardless of age. He loves manga, considering his job fun and reading every comic in Jump. He despises sleeping, but does so when needed. However, with how long he can stay awake, he will be out for a long time. He tends to make noises and sound effects when drawing or writing his manga. At times, he is often seen making weird poses or doing things bizarrely, such as drinking four glasses of soda at the same time. Eiji is constantly chastised by Tagadashi Ishiki, the editor-in-chief. He has only ever had a crush on one girl, Ueno Kirisaki, who he went to high school with. He also is very good at noticing the obvious. Despite good qualities, Kusanegi hasn't grown out of his poor table manners; eating large amounts of food loudly and talking with his mouth full.

  Hanasasami is probably the most observant and understanding of anyone in the Marukawa industry. Perceptive and intelligent, a trait of Hana's personality is that she gives just enough information to leave others wondering, thus forcing them to move forward. Altough she usually is very collected and calm, she is easily infuriated if someone hurts her friends and doesn't hesitate to attack the responsible with kicks or sharp words. She is also arguably the most 'mature' one of the group, for have been said to have so many boyfriends, being pierced and having a liking to older guys. She said that she never confesses to guys and that the guys themselves rather do it. She doesn't seem very serious about her relationships with her boyfriends. He has extremely high standards when it comes to his drawings, and refuses to stop redoing them until he is completely satisfied. He is also extremely competitive, especially when it comes to his rival, Kusanegi. Mashiro is in a solid partnership with his middle school classmate and best friend Takagi. Mashiro and Takagi have a deep mutual respect for each other, and both have decided to work with other due to their talent and intelligence. Takagi seems to have a crush on Mashiro, which often brings him trouble. He is also shown to be very strict, wanting Takagi to follow deadlines.   Intelligent and calculating, Takagi is very observant of his surroundings. He says he has neither ability to sing nor outstanding looks, which could help in show-business, thus deciding to stick with manga, calling it a popular modern medium and a quick way to earn money. He dreamed of creating manga since his childhood, but lacked the skill to draw, something he made up for by teaming up with Mashiro. Takagi has trouble with editing comedy manga. He is also very awkward when it comes to romance, often insulting Mashiro and causing him to grow upset. He is not very good at hiding his frustration. He also cares greatly about what others think of Mashiro, such as people dissing on manga that has been editing by the blue-haired boy.   Daikichi is usually very reserved. He feels no need for fooling around, although Takao, his boyfriend, tries to persuade him many times (often ending up with him annoying Daikichi). Acting kind to others is very hard for him, while his soul-mate Takao has no problem with that. Very confident in his abilities, he often acts high and mighty around others (mostly his co-workers). He strongly believes in the Oha Asa horoscopes and is set at ease when he hears that his zodiac sign, Cancer, will have a lucky day, even going as far as carrying a so-called "lucky item" with him everywhere. He also believes in blood types compatibility. His motto is "Man proposes, God disposes", which means doing your best and fate will decide the rest. Daikichi harbors a reluctant admiration for Ishiki, his higher-up. Takao often calls him a tsundere, because he tends to help people but denies doing so.
