Oh hello there! You must be a new student coming to apply! Welcome to Subarashi! ... You want to know why this academy is so special? I'm glad you asked, although to be honest you probably should've read our website...Was that mean? I'm sorry! ..... Anyway.

Subarashi is a high-end academy. Yes you could say this would be for the "rich" kids but if you work hard, it's not impossible to earn a scholarship here! Anyway, the classes you will be attending are much more in...quality I guess you could say. We have many of what we consider the best teachers but of course that is up to your own interpretation. In addition to your normal classes, you'll learn etiquette and nobility...things. Okay I'm just a teacher, it doesn't mean I'm rich... Shut up.

*ahem*

What really sets us apart is our clubs! ...haven't you heard of our clubs? You...you really should read our website... Well our clubs are all about fighting! Martial arts mostly but it's a huge diversity. Kendo, Muay Thai, Fencing, Boxing, etc. Think of us like a fighting school! To be honest, we would've registered as a dojo but we wouldn't make enough money...so we cheated the system and became an academy instead! ...but don't tell anyone else that.. I shouldn't have even told you.. I'm gonna get fired..

CONTINUING on.. I'm sure the main reason a student would enroll at this academy is because of our clubs. Our school is proud to boast that at least one of our clubs or a member of our academy is a champion/winner worldwide in events like the Olympics or..or...other...events.. OH! The most revered championship any of our clubs can receive is the Legend Medal. This is awarded after participating in the Baron Championship. This is an all-out martial art/fighting tournament. It isn't based on style or genre, it's based purely on skill. So a Kendo user can be going against a Muay Thai user. It may seem unfair but again, this is based on skill. This means that the Muay Thai user is capable to fight someone with a weapon.

Heavy stuff am I right? Still want to join up with us? Please join...I get paid through students accepting.. I really... really... want to get a new bicycle! ....Yeah so what, I can't afford a car.. get off my back.. damn rich kids..

Anyway, join up with Subarashi Academy where you are forced to join a club and make us proud and make us and everyone else money! Yay!~

Is this thing working? Test 1 2 3.... Oh I'm already live? Well why didn't you tell me that in the first place, idiot.

Welcome New Students! I am Mai Hirushi, head of security here at Subarashi Academy. Don't try anything funny. I have eyes everywhere. Like really. Like even in the bathroom. Okay actually you didn't hear that last part.

Anyway.. So I can get a proper head count, every student new or returning are required to meet in the Gym for Orientation. You'll also be assigned roommates and all that good stuff.. Boys with boys and girls with girls. Kids are too chummy with each other nowadays..

Because I'm obviously oozing with niceness, you have exactly two hours to mingle and do whatever the hell you kids do these days. Don't be late. @Kawaii

Luis Di'Gaevano was in the Muay Thai Club room, training his Knee Strikes when the PA announcement went off. He smiled as he heard Lt. Mai. She was a good member of the staff at Subarashi. Straight to the point and was the backbone of the security here. She was also the referee for any sparring that happened on the campus.

Luis unwrapped his hands and went into the lockers to change. He had been at the club room extremely early to clean up and train before anyone else got there. He also wanted to make sure that he could find some recruits for the Muay Thai Club. With freshmen's joining the academy, it'll definitely be a boost to the club's fundings if they get more active members. Lately things have been pretty slow but Luis didn't mind too much.

After changing, he left the club room and headed toward the main entrance where many of the students were already gather.

~

Ellie was in the hallway read the "Art of War" when Luis passed by. He politely smiled and nodded. Ellie just blankly looked up from her book to glare him before returning to her book. Luis annoyed her. He was too happy all the time. She heard he may have a dark side to him. That would be more interesting.

I don't want to move. Mai will kill me though. But moving would be a pain. I like it here. She complained to herself.

Ellie looked up irritably from her book. Another student passed by who gave her a quick before quickly walking away after receiving a piercing glare from her. Ellie sighed and closed her book. She stuffed the book into her bag and lifted it onto her shoulders. She opened the window behind her and climbed outside.

This way to the main entrance was much prettier and scenic. She wasn't sure why she was going to the main entrance but she didn't want to be caught by the monitor if they saw her going this way so she had no choice anyway.

Courtney smiles a bit as Mai says "boys with boys and girls with girls." After s/he refused to tell them hir gender, they had simply flipped a coin and put hir in the girl's dorm. S/he shrugs, s/he doesn't really care. Of course, it gives Courtney a small chance of being assigned to the same room as Kara. Watching them frantically trying to weasel hir gender out of hir was an amusing experience, one s/he intends to tuck away in hir mind for further enjoyment.

Suddenly s/he stops walking, hir eyes darting around. I doubt Kara would walk along without trying to follow me... S/he smiles to herself a bit as s/he imagines Kara as a lion, stalking Courtney. S/he then spins around, scanning the crowd for a glimpse of red hair. Specifically, scanning the students for the face of Kara. You can't escape from me, Kara!

Amy
~On the roof~

gkmhayiOWFIARHp6bz3JBeTW2AMrb8obaSVN8Mrbd9Q

Sucking on her strawberry-flavored lollipop, Amy's metaphorical ears perked up at Ms.Hirushi's announcement. Ah, the start of a new year. Stretching her arms over her head, she stood up and headed for the stairs, excitement building. A new year meant new students, which also meant, wait for it....new prey~ Running down the flight of stairs, squealing with delight, Amy started imagining all of the new possibilities that could happen this school year. Eager young girls, waiting for a man to swoop in and take their virginity, only to fall into unrequited love with playboys and be used and thrown away. Young, naive boys, who fall for the older, sophisticated women only to have their hopes and dreams crushed brutally, used by the whims of a cold-hearted woman. Ooh, all the possibilities. Fights would break out, hearts would be broken, maybe, even some secrets would be found out, who knows?

As she started skipping down the halls brightly, she couldn't help giggling a little as her thoughts turned to her current classmates. Maybe she would go mess around with Aero later today, or take a peek at Jin and Courtney, they were always interesting. If she was feeling especially good later, she might even talk a bit to Ellie. But not now, there were too many new students to impress, too many new sob stories to find, and never-too-many new victims to discover. 'Ah, I love school!~'

Jay yawned as he made his way down the corridor, another year, another new batch of students to cause trouble. Well, it sure would be interesting that was for sure. The boy had been asleep for quite some time, it was good for a growing boy to get at least eight hours of sleep, he intended to get that every night, and with how late he usually stayed up it wasn't surprising that he liked to nap a lot of the time. Mai sure was someone you didn't want to disobey though, so he'd decided it was best to get moving.

This year he'd get to meet a lot of new people, he was sure, of course he'd have to recruit more people for the Judo club as well, he didn't mind the numbers that they already had, but he'd love to train up some new people. Speaking of new people, he'd already been informed by his parents of his brother attending this school. Honestly Jay was hoping that he would have changed his mind, but it seemed not, well, he'd just have to watch him like he'd promise... That was a pain, Aero was always a pain, but maybe he'd gotten better, he hadn't seen him for a whole year after all, a lot could have changed in that time.

As he was walking he noticed a few other people, specifically someone who'd just climbed out of a window. He turned and peered out of it, a short girl had her back to him, very short, especially to the tall male. Ellie, he imagined she'd have a hell of a time with all the new students coming in, there'd be at least one she'd get into an argument with most likely. With a shrug he carried on down the hallway and towards the main entrance, it looked like everyone else was gathering there, so he should too. Maybe he'd find Luis already there, that or he'd be training.

---

This was...interesting... Aero was nervous, extremely nervous... This was...a school, with actual people in and actual lessons and so many possibilities to screw up. He was so going to die here, why had he even done this? What made this a good idea? The boy gritted his teeth and looked around, he hadn't been to school in years, he hadn't really conversed with anyone else near to his own age, unless his brother counted, and he hadn't spoken to him in a year. No, he couldn't let people catch on to how nervous he actually was, that would just make him easy to attack.

With a sigh the short boy put his hands in his pockets and leaned against a wall, for now he could stay a little quiet, he was already at the main entrance, but had decided to stand off to the side for a moment... At least until he worked up the courage to actually talk to anyone. That could also go wrong for him, whilst he came across as rather arrogant and overly confident that persona could easily be broken was something to happen.

It was actually the first time in a long time he'd been so far from home, unable to get back to his parents, he was so used to having them around...but now they weren't here anymore. He'd been stuck inside for years, having to come out of that comfort zone was rather unnerving to him, he'd be fine...sure he'd be fine... Too many people, but if he just kept himself calm and didn't look weak like he was doing right now he'd be fine. His parents had finally trusted him enough to actually let him go back to school, he couldn't ruin that.

With a nod to himself Aero pushed off of the wall with his foot and headed closer to the large group of students that were gathering, he shouldn't be nervous, this was going to be fine, might even be fun. He'd come here for a reason right? There was no way he could spoil all of this now, that would just be stupid of him, utterly stupid. Still, being so short didn't help, everyone always towered over him, especially Jay, that just made them all the more intimidating.

Ellie Anderson

Ew. So many people.

That was Ellie's first thought when she reached the main entrance. She also became irritably aware of how short she really was. It wasn't something she really cared about that much but when she's surrounded by people, it becomes apparent. Some people have thought she was a young child and asked if she should be walking around alone. Unfortunately for them, they didn't last long to find out the answer to that absurd question.

Her current position was by the side of the building, looking at the main entrance. It wasn't quite too late to turn back and go back into the hall. Ellie shrugged. She was here so she might as well scout out the competition. She had to complete her list of people she hates. It consisted of nearly everyone on campus although no one knew that. Well actually maybe they did.

Ellie stepped out from behind the side of the building and headed toward the crowd... just to run into a boy pushing himself off a wall. She wasn't running and he wasn't really pushing himself very hard so it wasn't much more than a bump but a poke can make Ellie fly off the hinges so this did not sit well with her. Ellie's eyes glared at the boy with an intense fury never before seen by Man.

"Why don't you watch where you're going you..." Ellie retorted but then broke off. The boy had turned to look at her and she realized her eyes met his. Like in, he was just as short as her. Ellie smirked and then snickered. "Oh my my look at you. You're sooo short aren't you." She mocked. "I'm not even mad at you, poor thing. Can anyone even see you from down here? I bet you don't even have a girlfriend with your height."

She conveniently forgets that she too is the same height as him but if there was one thing that Ellie enjoyed was making fun of others who shared in her misery of shortness. And she was going to make him suffer for bumping into her.

"Maybe that's why I didn't see you at first! Little thing, are you a freshmen? You look like it. Wow you really are short. Sucks to suck am I right?" Ellie mocked once again. She slid close and gave a sly smile. "I would hate to think of what other parts are small.."

Ellie was brutal and the worst part was she was just enjoying it. With one suave motion she twirled around and lifted her hands to give the gold 'ol Two Finger Salute.

He'd wanted to avoid all of the people here as much as possible for this first part, once they were all on their own or in small groups he'd be able to cope better...but he didn't like large groups, and he certainly didn't like being stuck with a bunch of people that were so much taller than him. Everyone else actually grew like normal human beings, but he didn't, he just stayed where he was, it was great... So great...because it didn't just give people another thing to pick on him about, of course not...

As he was walking he bumped into a girl, quickly he turned, ready to look up at her and maybe tell her to watch where she was going. Though when he noticed that she was eye level with him he was really confused, wait...there was actually someone his height here? So he wasn't small alone? At least that was a bonus, this girl was also tiny. He'd never made short jokes at anyone because he was always the shortest, they seemed to be the same height.

Though Aero was surprised when she started calling him short... She was practically the same height as him yet she was teasing him, it was mean, very mean. Great first encounter, every word she said lowered his self esteem just that little bit more. His hands balled into fists and he scowled at the girl, "Huh? Who even are you? Do you randomly go up to people and call them short as a hobby or something? Cause if you do you're obviously missing out. I pity you."

She seemed to continued talking, now she really was starting to annoy him a lot, he stepped forwards, feelings rather hurt but really only showing that with rage. "Oh? I'm short?" He asked, "Have you seen yourself? So small..." He started to laugh and shook his head, "Yeah, I'm a freshman, you're not?" He raised an eyebrow, "At your height I would have expected you to be a freshman...maybe even a little kid who was specially accepted into this school because you were super smart... No, you couldn't possibly be super smart... How does it feel to be small?"

Aero was firing insults back at her, but he didn't really have much practice in fighting back at people with words, so for all he knew he was throwing out utter crap. Plus she'd lowered his self esteem so much, and suddenly he felt extremely self conscious... Great, just great, he knew he was short... He didn't need anyone but Jay to remind him of that, why did she have to be so mean about it? Of course he'd never let her know he was hurt, he'd play it off like it was nothing.

Amy
~In the Hallway~

Sliding to a stop, Amy peered down the hallway eagerly. Ah, the scent of new students!~ Face alight with utter joy, she slipped through the thick crowd of students, keeping her eyes and ears opened for any sort of bullying.

"Why don't you watch where you're going you..." It seems like one of her classmates had already started something. Not at all surprised, Amy saw out of the corner of her eye Ellie Anderson picking on none other than Jay's younger brother. Screeching to a halt, she swerved in the direction of the two students of equal height. Using her height to her advantage, she half-hid her body behind some random guy facing the opposite direction. "I bet you don't even have a girlfriend with your height." Ooh, Ellie was really laying it on thick. Tittering as quietly as she could, she strained her ears to hear better. "I would hate to think of what other parts are small." Ah, the poor little boy was probably completely destroyed inside, Amy knew. She'd known Jay's brother was a total wuss from the moment she'd heard of him. Taking a peek at the family's dynamics through their dining room window had only confirmed her hunch. Amy made a side-note to get Ellie some flowers later. Once Aero started firing back insults, Amy quickly left him to it, knowing that all the damage had already been done.

Turning away, lost in her fantasy of Ellie ripping into him once again, perhaps pantsing him in front of the whole class, showing everyone his tiny parts or maybe forcefully entering him into a competition with Jay only to be soundly beaten, or maybe—"Ow!"

From her spot on the ground, Amy looked up to see she had accidentally crashed into a new freshman. "Ah," she said, embarrassed, "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention, um, would you mind helping me up?"

Connor~In the Hallway~

romano.jpg
Taking a deep breathe, Connor clutched the straps of his bag tightly as he walked down the hallway. There were a lot of people here, so he had better keep his head down; he didn't want trouble on the very first day. He already had his game plan all set up; get to class, get a registration form, join the Wing Chun club. Accomplish all that, while flying under the radar, and he'd have successfully survived one day into high school.

As he swerved around another student, to his utter horror Connor bumped into another girl, knocking her onto the floor. "Ow!" Alarm bells going off in head, he looked around for an escape route. "Ah," Too late, she had already noticed him, "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Nervously peering at her, he shifted uneasily, unsure what to do now. "Um, would you mind helping me up?" With a start, Connor reached down to her outstretched hand and pulled her up. Immediately extracting his hand when she could stand on her own, he once again shifted uneasily, wondering if it was okay to leave now. Much to his discomfort, she turned toward him, smiling charmingly. "You must be a new student," the corners of her eyes lifting up, "I'm Amy, nice to meet you~" Hands behind her back, eyes bright, and hair fetchingly curled, she was the picture of attractively cute. Just the kind of person Connor wanted to avoid(well, aside from delinquents).

He had a very bad feeling about this...

A low breath escaped his lips, releasing the air that had been previously inhaled. Now, as Jin's body was brought downwards, he could feel the changes in his core as it was lowered. With each passing second, he could feel the weight grow, adding to the strenuous task.

All remained quiet, pure silence only broken by the sound of sweat connecting with the wooden floor. The impact was quite audible, miniature explosions going off in his ears as they trickled down. The bombardment was mostly kept at bay by the crimson bangs that reached for the ground, soft texture brushing against the porcelain skin of his forehead. Still, he could hear the descending perspiration like an echo within a dark cave.

Moist palms kept his body steady as they pressed against the earth, legs crossed like a monk that was deep in mediation. Jin's focus was comparable to such an activity, remaining steady as all weight was directed towards his abdomen. The young man did not know how long he had maintained this position, his only means of knowing being the droplets that counted down time like the hands of a clock.

During moments like these, he never set a specific limit, not knowing when he would stop. Jin only put an end to it when he saw fit, when he felt that it was appropriate and that his body had trained enough for the time being. Now, he felt that it was appropriate.

Shifting the burden of his body's entire weight to one arm, Jin removed the other, placing the limb at his side. Previously crossed legs separated, meeting again shortly afterward as they grouped straight. Body like that of a finely crafted arrow, he held this position for several seconds before pushing with the solitary hand. After remaining in the air for a brief moment, he returned to his feet.

Wiping the moisture from his brow, Jin moved to the nearby bench where he had left his personal items. Bringing the rest of his face to a dry state after submerging it into the soft material of the towel, he draped the blue cloth over his shoulder, favoring the container of water he had brought along. After the pressure applied by his thumb and index finger released the waterfall-like flow of liquid, his left counterpart wiped the cold remnants from the corner of his lip.

Sitting down on the leather surface, his hands fell down to his ankles, unfastening the weights that had become an additional force, along with the ordinary gravity. The impact yielding a gratifying bang, eyes of scarlet scanned the progress he had made thus far. He traveled over the creamy, almost pale skin that covered his body.

On the surface, the young man was nothing remarkable, possessing an average height and normal weight. At times, Jin may have appeared to be quite thin or even frail to many, but in truth, the young man had quite the muscular physique concealed beneath his clothing. His face could be seen as somewhat effeminate, but everything below the boy's neck was well-toned and defined. Most men would've considered this an admirable body type, but for Jin, it was not enough.

As he emptied the remaining contents of the container over vermilion locks, water trickled down to the floor, pure red concealing his features while water separated upon meeting his pectorals like cracks in a stream. It felt as though steam would rise up as the liquid cooled his body, intense heat only now beginning to settle as his hand reached for the towel once more. As he did so, the boy's ears would perk slightly upon hearing the public address.

A small smirk appeared on Jin's face, the show of bright teeth the only discernible feature as the others remained within the cloth's shadow. "Interesting." Placing the bottle on the bench, Jin rose from his sitting position. The sound of his bare feet traveling around the room resounded in his ears, coming to a stop as his eyes came to rest on a larger set of weights that sat on the nearby shelf. Running his hands through the wet mass of hair, slicking it back in order to prevent the strands from obscuring his vision any longer, the somewhat ominous expression persisted. "It's about time that I get going."

From the second floor, Jin observed everything like a hawk that rested on its roost, the cuff of his white blazer pushing up slightly as he gripped the bar that separated him from a threatening fall. It was a new year, a time when students would join their school with hopes and dreams. These were the people he watched for, individuals that could be deemed as prospective members for the club he led.

It had not been long since his first year, the time when he walked through the doors as these children did now. In that time, he had done much, claimed the title of "president", climbed to the top of this academy's ladder, and obtained its most coveted prize. Of course, it was natural, just as much as breathing. It did not fill him with uncontrollable excitement or even surprise. It was simply expected.

He had mostly been a mild-mannered individual in the presence of others, something many had taken notice of. However, the darker aspects of his personality and his reign as an emperor never remained completely shadowed. This was evident by the many incidents of official competition and the opponents he faced.

His methods of dealing with them had been thrilling for an audience, but it was a different experience for those he cut down. At times, it was not simply defeat, far deeper for the ones that dared to stand against him and claim superiority. Those were the darkest times. Many never walked the halls of their schools or saw completion again after "that" incident.

This year would be no different, continuing his reign as ruler. Now, he would see if any would qualify for his army. He would watch for those that caught his eye.

He had to be at least a hundred years old. The old man sat cross-legged, the only sign that revealed his living status was the rising and falling of his frail chest. The room seemed to be in the same comatose state as the old man. Completely silent, it made her feel completely out of place.

Kara began to step toward the old man but the floor seemed to be made of something soft. Cringing at the weird feeling underneath her feet, Kara looked up at the old man before slowly making her way towards him. Kara crouched down on her haunches, leaning close to the old man in wonder.

“H-hey, are you a’ight,
viejo?” Lifting up a hand to shake the old man’s shoulder, Kara pursed her lips as she gently placed her hand on the old man. It seemed as if the slightest touch would make him shatter into pieces.

Suddenly, the old man opened his eyes and looked at Kara. “Beep beep beep beep!” An inhumane sound shot out of the old man’s lips, shocking Kara and making her jump back.

The whole room turned to chaos, spinning around like a carousel. Jackie Chan’s face appeared around the room, sprouting out quotes from Karate Kid. Kara was frozen in place as she watched the room dye itself different colours with Jackie Chan combine with the beeping of the weird old man.

“Wha--” Kara began to protest before she woke up.

Beep beep beep!

Slamming a fist down on her alarm clock, Kara shot up from bed before looking around her bedroom in surprise. Kara held her chin in her hand as she thought about what her dream meant. Normally, one would consider such a weird subconscious vision to be a nightmare but Kara knew it had to be a sign when Jackie Chan appeared in it.

“Today’s going to be a great day!” Kara grinned as she threw her fist into the air. It was going to be her first day at her dream school, Subarashi Academy. Seeing so many Jackie Chan faces in her dream had to mean that she would have a
subarashii day.

An older woman, Mrs. Seidel, slammed the door open to Kara’s room with the usual super Seidel strength. “Ja, if you aren’t late for
schule.”

One late bus ride away

“Stupid alarm clock! Stupid bus! Stupid--”

Kara frowned at the gate that was in her way before skidding to a stop. She could either jump over the gate easily or wait until a teacher walked by to open up the gate. The latter of the two seemed to risk getting in trouble on the first day though so wall jumping it was.

Leaping over the wall and using her hand to support herself, Kara landed on her feet and broke back into a run. It wasn’t that Kara was afraid of getting in trouble, it just wasn’t a good idea to label herself as a troublemaker on the first day.

Weaving her way through the crowded hallways in awe of the school, Kara had completely missed the announcement and began to look around. “Wow! This is so…
chido!” Grinning in excitement, Kara suddenly felt like she was under inspection.

Freezing in a cool pose, Kara looked around suspiciously before spotting a familiar looking head of hair. A grin spread from cheek to cheek as Kara sprinted towards her androgynous best friend. “How I have missed you,
mejor amigo!” Leaping towards Courtney, Kara jumped towards her fellow Jackie Chan fan with her arms stretched out.

Courtney, having seen the redhead in time, panics within hir head. She really is excited... Perhaps in private, Courtney would have accepted the hug. But hugging in public? That's sort of weird, especially when parents make you hug them specifically because you're in public and you'll be embarrassed. Anyway, Courtney didn't feel like hugging anyone right now. Preparing hirself, Courtney quickly jumped to the side a bit, but not enough, and is hit by Kara's hug with full force. A sounding oof comes from hir mouth as s/he's hugged by the way too enthusiastic girl.

"Geez, Kara," Courtney says. "Are you hugging a friend or trying to squeeze the juice out of an orange?" S/he didn't mind too much, to be honest, but s/he knew hugging in public might make hir look a bit weird. S/he looks around, hoping nobody's looking their way. "By the way, they put my in the girl's dorm. They threatened to kick me out if I didn't tell them what gender I was, but looks like that threat was as empty as my stomach." Courtney pauses, then realizes Kara can't see inside hir stomach. "I didn't eat breakfast this morning, by the way."

This morning had been an odd case. Courtney had poured a bowl of cereal and tried to eat it. S/he knew s/he would be hungrier later, but s/he just wasn't hungry enough to bring hirself to eat anything. S/he even tried forcing herself, through hir amazing willpower, to eat the cereal, but s/he ended up coughing it up into the sink later. And now, sitting here in the hallway ... Courtney notices hirself starting to get hungry.
Unbelievable...

Ellie Anderson

@Hexed

Ellie burst into laughter and smiled cruelly at the boy.

"Oh my my did I hit a nerve? Such a pity, you're insults are weak. You won't survive here long sweetie." She mocked. "How does it feel to be small? Here let me get you a mirror so you can look at it all day. Hopefully that will help you find the answer to that question." Ellie laughed again and walked around him, examining him, doing her best to make him feel uncomfortable.

He really is an amateur kinda guy. Looks young. Definitely not a transfer student. Freshmen's are the best to pick on. Ellie thought to herself. She turned around to face him and smirked. "Well you're such a mediocre guy. I pity-no, I cry for the person who ends up dating you. That is if you even find a girlfriend." She insulted.

She laughed again. Ellie was having a bit too much fun. "Want to go another round pipsqueak? I'll des- GAH!" She started but then cut off as a hand slammed down onto her head. Ellie raised her head as far as the hand would allow to see a tall, glaring woman with a cigarette in her mouth. It was the head of security Mai Hirushi.

"Ellie Anderson and Aero Singh.. causing trouble on the first day of the new semester? I'm glad you're both short because it makes it easier to strangle you." Mai sneered, her cigarette dropping onto the ground.

Oh sh...

Luis Di'Gaevano

Luis was at the main entrance, idly chatting with former classmates. No one from the Muay Thai club was here so he assumed they probably were already in the gym. So far he didn't see any new students but he figured they'd probably be a bit shy, especially being new to the school. He was over on the side by the main entrance when a door leading to the security and surveillance office slammed opened. Mai Hirushi came storming out with a furious look, her cigarette smoke trailing behind her. Luis quickly got out of the way of her path as she slammed the door shut and stormed off to do who knows what.

"I hope no one is in trouble.. especially with Mai on duty today." Luis sighed. Most of the students who attended Subarashi knew the schedules of the security guards. In general, trouble was not made with the other security guards but when Mai was on duty, the campus was perfect. Like seriously, her eyes never missed anything. Many wondered if she ever slept or was just always watching the students for trouble.

Luis decided it would be best not to be within fifteen feet of Mai so he headed off toward the gym, unable to find any of his old friends.

"Uwaaaa! Did you hear that, Courtney?" Kara's excited grin stretched from cheek to cheek, creating a perfect picture smile that would seem creepy if it weren't for the astonished sparkle in her eyes. "The orientation is about to begin!" Grabbing Courtney by the arm, Kara began to drag the kendoka to the gymnasium. Kara seemed to be bouncing up and down in excitement.

"What's orientation going to be like? I wonder if we're going to see some cool moves! Whad'dya think, Courtney?" Kara's mouth blabbered non-stop as she weaved her way through the hallways with no sense of direction.

Then she stopped in her tracks. Glancing over at Courtney, Kara frowned and pursed her lips. "
Momento, where is the gym?" Furrowing her brows in confusion, Kara glanced around herself, confused as to where she had to go. Although Kara had a student who went to Subarashi Academy the prior year, also known as Courtney Lyon, in her midst, she completely forgot about her friend and went out of her way to ask someone for directions.

"Ya-hoo!" Kara waved her hand in the air as she dragged Courtney and herself up to a seemingly intelligent student. "We're," Just Kara. "New here. Do you know where the gym is?" Scratching the back of her head, Kara grinned sheepishly, rocking back and forth on her heels. She was like a four year old who just couldn't keep still.

H.M

Hoshiko walked along the school enterance, her long and slender body towering over most students and being very noticeable amongst the crowd. She saw some people looking at her with awe at her staggering height, although it was at all bad. She sighed as she went exploring around, no one bothering her, fortunately.

Hoshiko then tapped on the shoulder of a brown haired male, with glasses, hoping that he would know where the gym was. She was rather happy at how the school looked, especially all the martial arts clubs and what not.
"Excuse me, but do you know where the gym is?"

Luis Di'Gaevano

"Excuse me, but do you know where the gym is?"

"We're new here. Do you know where the gym is?

Luis turned when he heard someone call to him. Three students stood near him, seemingly lost. He gave a warm smile and replied. "Hello, yes I know where the gym is. I'm actually heading there right now. Just follow me and I'll show you." He gave another smile and gestured for them to follow before turning back around to continue back toward the gym. The gym wasn't too far away but it'd be a couple minutes before they got there, considering the gym was at the right edge of the campus and in a completely different building.

This campus was so big, they had several buildings for a variety of different reasons. The main building was where all the classes were held, the building directly behind it was where the clubs were held so it was also the biggest, and the final was the gym where announcements were made and tournaments would be held. As Luis walked, he turned his head slightly to look at the students behind him.

"So I'm guessing some or all of you are new and/or transferring students coming to Subarashi?" He asked. "You'll like it here I bet.."

Mia felt a little twinge of pain from her book. Shutting the book after memorizing. She took note of the paper cut on her finger. A small bead of blood was coming out. Flipping the lid of her bag, she attempted to grab a band-aid. It would have matched all of its brethren on her fingers if she had one. She probably looked like a rough gang member probably. Standing up from her hiding spot, she decided to go to the office. Perhaps they would have something to cover up her finger.

It was when she heard events in the background. Being hidden and engrossed in a book made her time and her surroundings. It was growing quite popular here. Perhaps she could make a friend after a visit. She stood up from her hiding spot. Dusting the dirt off of her skirt that was stubborn as a bull. She moved forward into the vicinity.

Perhaps she could have asked for a map. She wasn't going to find anyone with a band-aid. Sighing she started walking north of the campus. Maybe she could find it, or maybe she could get lost on her way. It was an easy task...for someone who knew their way around Subarashi. It was when an announcement was made for orientation to begin. Walking in every direction but the gym. She sighed.

She should have been paying attention to the signs earlier before she got lost. It was another wrong turn. She probably looked pathetic and lame. Turning into the same spot again, she was quite confused. Mia frowned quickly when she dug through her bag. There wasn't anything to indicate where she was or where to go. It was when she heard a voice saying they knew where the gym was. Mia knew it was rude to eavesdrop, but she didn't know anything it seemed. The campus was quite different than her old school. She followed shyly far behind.

Amy
~In the Hallway, Heading Toward the Gym~

proxy.php
A bit intrigued by the boy's discomfort, Amy opened her mouth to get his name. But when she noticed the huge crowds of students heading for the gym, she realized how much time she had used up. Grabbing him by the forearm, she dragged him in the direction of the gym, yelling over the sound of other students. "Sorry! Orientation is gonna start soon! Can't be late for that on your first day can you?" The freshman seemed really nervous. Perhaps he'd fallen in love with her?! Ahhh~ Just the thought of some poor unsuspecting boy having a puppy-crush on her was enough to send her into fantasies of heartbreak and despair once again. If she hadn't known how off her rocker she was already, this would have sealed the deal.

Struggling behind her, the freshman started to protest, "Wait! Let go! I can-I...can walk by myself!" Snatching his arm out of her grip, he glared at her from above. It would've been a lot more insulting if his cheeks weren't flushed. But it was enough to haul her out of her daydreams. A bit miffed, Amy puffed out her cheeks adorably, making her look very similar to a chipmunk. What was up with that? That was pretty rude wasn't it? Well then, if that's how he wanted to play it, then—

Amy's scolding came to an end before it even began, when the tell-tale sound of Miss Hirushi's footsteps came from down the hall. Alarmed, she snatched the freshman's arm, this time dragging him to the edge of the hallway, and tugging him down to a crouching position. Amy couldn't recall anything she had done, today at least, to have attracted Miss Hirushi's attention, but one couldn't be too careful with the frightening security guard. Much to her relief, she didn't seem to be on the hunt for Amy-steak, and passed by without incident. Getting up, she let out a breath, alleviated. Now they could continue on their way to the gym, undisturbed. Smiling at the boy—even if he was rude, he was still an underclassman—Amy once again tugged him in the direction of the gym, ignoring his protests.

Summer Reid smiled to herself at Mai's announcement, chuckling a little.

"Ah, I love school!" she exclaimed loudly. Several of the students within earshot turned with curiosity, but only the newbies and the transfers. The others were used to Summer's cheerful manner.

She sauntered with a easy grace through the halls, giving a smile to everyone she saw and the chirpiest of 'good morning's.

I bet we'll learn even more awesome moves! I can't wait! And I wonder when's the next meeting of the Kung-Fu Club..? I'll have to ask President Jin... Wait, where is he? Oh well, I'm sure to bump into him somewhere...

Humming her favourite song, she followed the endless surge of happy students towards the gym.

"Hey all!" she greeted.

"Oh, estoy emocionada!" Kara exclaimed, jumping up into the air looking like a starfish. She threw her hands into the air like a six year old who just got a BMX bike for Christmas. Sure, she may be embarrassing Courtney but Kara was simply too ecstatic to care about what others thought of her. Bouncing up and down on the ball of her feet, Kara's grin stretched from cheek to cheek. "I can't wait to learn some moves!" Pretending to shadow box, Kara was like a kitten who was learning how to hunt. She'd pounce on the tails of the cats that obviously didn't want to be bothered by some kit.

That's when Kara noticed the incredibly tall girl next to her. "Uwaaaa!" She blurted out in pure awe. "You're so tall!" Standing up on her tip toes, Kara tried to level herself with the tall girl but you can't grow four inches by standing on your toes. "Amazing! You must be at least 5'10!" Kara held her chin in thought, admiring the girl's height as she did so. "How old are you? Your face looks pretty young so you must have a lot of growing left to do!" Falling back down to her meager height (compared to the girl next to her, that is), Kara gasped when she saw just how long the other girl's legs were.

"Courtney, look at her legs...!" Kara slapped a hand over her mouth. "They're so long! So dangerous!" Yelling, Kara fell back, hoping that Courtney would catch her. "
Increible...!" Suddenly, Kara's face began to burn a bright red when she realized just how impolite she was. Her mother would kill her if she knew what Kara was acting like on the first day of school! Clearing her throat, Kara tried to calm down and extend a hand to the girl. "Oh, sorry. The name's Kara, Kara Seidel. What's your's?" Nervousness quickly shoved away by friendliness, Kara glanced over at the boy who was showing them the way. "You too! I'm Kara! Thank you for guiding us!"

Spotting a small figure from the corner of her eye, Kara quickly jumped back and called the girl out. "You there! Why are you following us?" Kara's eyes narrowed as she scrutinized the smaller girl from afar. "Are you a spy?!" Gasping in horror, Kara's voice traveled the entire hallway without any strain. She was incredibly loud. Some of the other students around her that were still making their way to the gym threw Kara weird looks or scurried along so that they weren't called out by her either. "Wait, no..." Furrowing her brows in concentration, Kara stared at the girl with pursed lips.

"You're also lost, aren't you!" It was more of a statement than a question but Kara gestured for the girl to join the group. "Well, come along. This guy," Kara pointed at their generous guide. "Is giving a great tour." Winking teasingly, Kara quickly introduced herself, making sure to make herself known to the group. Her mother did say to make friends--but Jackie Chan said to keep your enemies closer. Or was that Chris Tucker?
