I love you since this morning, not just for aesthetic

Reshoots. Fucking reshoots.

It was natural when a pilot was picked up that last minute changes and ideas would be added, especially since the episode had yet to air. Little things like adding new characters in, or an extra scene or two. In this case, the showrunner had gotten what he had thought to be the most brilliant beyond brilliant idea for what the action could be centered around for Season 1. The teens putting on a production of the musical Grease, which would end up being the place where the supernatural climax occurs and secrets get revealed in the finale. So a couple scenes of it being discussed were added into the pilot, along with making sure cast members who weren't there when the pilot was shot didn't come out of nowhere in Episode Two. Bianca knew it made sense, but still she was itching to get started on Episode Two. Plus the new musical concept had her breaking out into hives just thinking of it.

As she went through her usual routine of getting dressed and beautified in the wee hours of the morning, the idea of doing that episode stayed in her mind, taunting her. While it was true that Bianca had done musicals in the past and had semi-decent musical capabilities, they were high school productions where everybody was amateur and she didn't have to worry about it being shown on TV. She didn't have to worry about looking like an idiot in front of Nick everybody. Making a fool out of herself on TV for the second time in her 18 years of existence might just solidify her career as a joke. If that happened, if she ended up flopping on this show her career might as well be kaput. She'd have no choice but to teach overpriced acting classes in some community center until the inevitable Shackled Reboot that would happen in a decade or two. So suffice to say she was nervous.

Breathe in, breathe out. She needed a distraction, a task, anything that would stop her from feeling freaked out and helpless. Calling someone maybe? She would ordinarily contact Nick when she was feeling down and needed to laugh or smile, but she'd done that for three days in a row at this point. As smitten as the boy claimed he was, she didn't want to bother him so early in the morning. Nick wasn't even her boyfriend after all, it wasn't his job to distract her from feeling like shit. After all, for all she knew he was busy with some other chick like Tony said he was.

But if she wasn't going to bother Nick, maybe she could do the next best thing. It was 5:00 in the morning, places should be starting to open, and Nick was a bottomless pit. With all the love in the world for him that man was an animal. So maybe she could show up early and surprise him with food and coffee? Yes, theoretically Megumi and Ava were the ones in charge of doing that. But 1. She sincerely doubted he would complain about double sustenance and 2. She wanted to do it so badly. Figuring out what kind of food Nick would like best was a challenge for the ages, one that would occupy her brain enough that she stopped panicking about her career. Plus, she wanted to make him happy. She enjoyed play-acting as if they were an official couple, even though they weren't already. Admittedly, Bianca's nerves and awkwardness might have had something to do with that. Rejection was literally petrifying even if there was objectively a low chance of that happening. So getting something Nick liked for him was a relatively low stakes way of expressing her feelings. Maybe if she acted girlfriend-y enough it'd actually happen.

“Come to set early, I have something for you.” She texted Nick, as she walked over to the coffee shop they had gone on a sort-of date to before. She entered and glanced at the menu over the cash register as she waited in line. Eventually deciding on his usual coffee order and a box of donuts, she grinned from ear to ear, almost skipping outside of the coffeeshop. As she boarded a bus to set as usual, she used all of her manpower to steady the box. She'd be damned if they hit a speedbump and they ended up being crushed or the frosting got ruined. She'd already told Nick she had a surprise, it was vital nothing happened to them.

As the bus announced they were at her stop, she departed, being greeted by Flash Film Studios. As always, she showed her ID to security, and headed over to the studios. Her target was spotted, as always looking better than he had any right to be. She walked over, grabbing his arm and quietly dragging him inside the studio, and up the stairs to her dressing room. Bianca settled down on a cramped sofa, gesturing for Nick to follow suit. With an awkward grin, she revealed the box. "I got snacks. Figured you'd be hungry." She gazed up at him, gauging his reaction with a nervous laugh.

Megumi was excited to say the least. The pilot episode that they shot was finally picked up, her first day as 1st AD was starting today. Waking up early as all hell, like 4:00 am, she started her day like she always does. Taking a quick cold shower to wake her up more, just a but of make up, nothing too major, she's never the one in front of the camera luckily. Dressing up in her usual attire, just some black high-top Converse, a black long sleeved shirt, and some jeans. Finally she started packing her tote bag. This tote bag has been with her through all kinds of shit, being a hand me down from her mother, she's had it ever since she was 13. Grabbing everything she needed, laptop, files and shit, scripts, some basic stationary (highlighters, pens, pencils, almost everything-), an emergency bag filled with some first aid and things for her period, a change of clothes, and lastly her wallet. Double and triple checking everything, she's finally out the door by 4:30 am with her keys, hair tie, and tote bag in hand. Megumi absolutely hated being un prepared so she usually over packed any bag that she brings with her.

Going down to the car park, she unlocked her car and got in and started it up. Tying up her hair in her signature ponytail, she was finally ready for the day. Truth be told, she was pretty excited for this day, and just just because the series got picked up, she found out they were going to be doing a musical episode somewhere in the season, which is just exciting. She worked with the choreographer and stuff but not officially. She did get to learn the numbers, both song and dance, and knew them inside out. She always had a small passion for singing and dancing since she grew up helping her sister learn song and dance numbers to tv shows, movies, and different opportunities. She got used to it so much that she even takes some dance classes if she ever had the time. But setting her excitement aside, she had a job to do still and she was en route to a rare Irish coffee shop to grab everyone's coffee.

"Order for Megumi!" The worker called out a while after she ordered the coffee. "Thank you!" She said happily as she too the tray of coffee for everyone and the order for a small strawberry tart for Artem. Setting everyone's coffee and Artem's food in the car, in a way that it wouldn't spill, she checked her watch and saw that she was pretty ahead of schedule before starting the car and driving to set.

"Good morning!" She greeted everyone she say and gave the coffee to the people who ordered and for the people whose weren't there yet or she couldn't find, she left them in their trailer with a note that read, "Good morning, enjoy the coffee. - Megumi." With everyone's coffee handed out she went to go to Artem's trailer and leave her the strawberry tart. Grabbing a sticky note and a pen, she wrote, "Enjoy it and I'll see you on set later." With that she left her the tart before leaving and getting the real work started. Meeting up with some different departments, she discussed some plans for the day and plans for future days. Once that was over, she was finally on the actual set as she looked for Fred, practically her best friend on set. "Good morning, Fred! Doing good?" She said once she spotted him and ran up to him with a smile on her face and his coffee in hand.

Rays from the morning sun slip through sheer white curtains, casting a glow upon dark cocoa skin, chocolate brown eyes flutter open and meet with the light. A small stretch and a yawn later, Kyla was throwing her feet over the edge of her bed and slipping into a pair of pink fluffy slippers. Her typical morning routine started out this way, the next step would be to grab her silk robe and begin her journey downstairs to begin making herself a quick breakfast before taking a shower and resuming getting dressed. This morning's breakfast consisted of avocado toast with everything bagel seasoning, two over-easy eggs, two slices of bacon, and a medium sized glass of orange juice. Once the meal was cooked, she sat down at begin to eat, she checked her phone as it started vibrating, it was just her alarm as she had woken up about 20 minutes ahead of it. Like a game of tag, Kyla would get away from her alarm clock most mornings, but there have been a few where she's glad that she had it. After cleaning up the dishes, she ascended up the staircase and retreated back into her bedroom where she would select her clothes for the day, she chose something simple today, just a white crop top, grey sweatpants, and white Nike Airforces. After a quick shower, she steps in front of the large vanity that was placed in the bathroom, and begins perfectly applying a coat of mascara, then swipes on some chapstick. A spray of perfume later, and Kyla was out of the door, headed to the studio for shooting.

Once the girl arrived at the studio, she makes her way up to her trailer, it wasn't quite as large as the rest of them as she was really only a secondary character, but she had one nonetheless. Megumi had left Kyla's coffee order in there, which caused a grin to fade onto her face, "She's the absolute sweetest." She thought to herself as she picked up the iced brown sugar latte and took a sip. It was perfect, just as it was every single time before. To begin the day at this location, Kyla checked her script and began practicing her lines, making sure that she had them all memorized, not once has she ever forgotten a line, but she had the worst fear of having to reshoot scenes multiple times because of her negligence to have her lines locked and loaded for the camera. She changed into the outfit that had been put in her trailer by the costume director, they never disappointed her with the choices they made, but it's not like she had too much of a say anyways, after all, she was just a cast member and didn't really know much about how the directors were envisioning the television show they were shooting.

Today was a musical number scene, which wasn't something Kyla was too favorable of. Sure, she could walk down a catwalk in front of hundreds of people, pose for photographs that would be published, or even just speak in front of a camera for a show where millions of people would see, but singing? That was not considered one of Kyla's strong suits, regardless of how she felt about it, she would push through and try her best. Hopefully the editors could make her actually sound half decent in post production, that was the only thing that was going to be her saving grace. Kyla steps towards a mirror, yet again, and makes sure that everything looks like the picture that was placed on the full body mirror. It was always nice to have a visual on the inspiration that the costume director had for her look, the last step was to get into hair and makeup, then she could interact with the rest of the crew. This was a major reason why she would arrive so early and get things done, she wanted to catch up with her cast members about the things they had done the night before, that is if they weren't hanging out together.

The Kim household had been awake and moving since five in the morning on this fine day.

Well, that was a lie. Lucas had been up and awake at four-thirty in the morning. His alarm was waiting dormant, ready to chime once the clock turned over to five. However, he had found himself in a sea of anxiety and dread for the day before him that awoke him from his light sleep for the eighth time since taking refuge in his bed last night. He silently counted down the minutes, and then seconds, that his alarm would begin to sing. And once it did, he laid there, listening. The melody triggered him, reminding him of all the wonderful deep nights of sleep he had had in the past that was so rudely interrupted by the tone. If only he could’ve had the same experience this morning, rather than lying in despair for hours on end.

He eventually crawled out of bed, using every ounce of energy to motivate himself. Within minutes he was dressed in his athletic attire and hitting the pavement for his morning run. For the next hour, he found peace and comfort in the chill of the morning wind hitting his skin, and the sound of the guitars and drums thrashing in his ears thanks to his air pods. Normally, an hour of running always felt dragged out and like it was never going to end. Today, for some unknown reason, it went by incredibly quick. Before he knew it, he was back at home and helping his mother to prepare breakfast for the entire family. His stomach turned and curdled as he flipped the eggs on the frying pan and placed the slices of bread into the toaster. How could he possibly eat at a time like this?

His mother coaxed him into at least eating one egg, a piece of bacon and a slice of toast for breakfast. While the household was awake and thriving, the silence lingered in the air as the family sat down for breakfast. Everyone wanted to say something about today, but instead, their ears began to ring from the deafening silence apart from the occasional sip of coffee or the crunch of the toast. The tension grew thick and dense, and eventually, his father rose from the table – muttering about needing to leave for work early – and left. Lucas could feel the pressure on his chest slowly ease once he heard his father’s X-Trail reversing from the garage and down the street. But even with the absence of Eric Kim, things were left unsaid and ignored as his mother also stood from the table, telling Lucas that she was going to help his sister get ready for school while he had a shower.

No matter how hot the water was, no matter how red and raw his skin was turning, Lucas couldn’t feel anything. He was numb. He felt like the kindling fire, his passion, for life was captured and concealed. There was little to no room for it to envelope its environment and was restricted to its confines. And that’s how the rest of his morning went; he felt completely and utterly numb through it all. His mother helped him to pick out a suitable piece of clothing, they dropped his Elise at her school and met up with her nurse, and finally, they were on their way to the studio. His heart rattled in his chest, feeling his blood violently gush through his body. Was he coming down with something? Maybe today wasn’t the best day to start? He felt faint like he could vomit at any time. Surely the director would send him home if said he wasn’t well?

I know this is hard for you,” Rosie’s voice filled the silence of the car, shaky and tender. “And that it really isn’t your passion… But… your father and I are very thankful for this sacrifice you’re making” She paused, pressing her lips together in deep thought over the words she had just said. Right. Sacrifice. Like he really had a choice in the matter. Rosie took her hand off the steering wheel and placed it upon her son’s hand all the while keeping her eyes on the road. “We both love you very much” her voice was soft and gentle but riddled with an array of emotions.

Lucas stared down at his mother’s aging hand upon his own, remembering a time when her skin was soft and free from blemishes. She would place her hand upon his own, confessing how proud she was that her son was an uprising athletic star and how he’d shine at the Olympics one of these days. Her hands were once a source of warmth and comfort, now felt cold and harsh upon his own. But how could he say such a thing to her? So, instead, he simply nodded and responded with a “love you too, mum”, his voice struggling to push past the eery silence that had consumed the space between them both.

Drop off at the studio oddly reflected his first day of school. His mother waved goodbye to him from the car, calling toward him as he walked to say that she would pick him up afterwards and that she loved him. Finally, the gate closed behind her door almost in slow motion, creating that firm division between the comfort he knew and the intense unknown that stood before him. In a state of nerves, he began to fumble with the straps of his backpack that he had brought along with him. Is that what actors do? They used backpacks to carry their scripts and other things, right? Well, don’t you look like a school boy that ugly voice echoed in his brain. No, he didn’t need the voice of doubt surrounding his thoughts today. He never needed it. His eyes flickered upwards from the ground and to his surroundings. Okay so… He was meant to be… where was he actually meant to be? He was meant to get his makeup and costume done… right?

Oh, it looks like that bleach they used for your hair as seeped into your tiny brain. The voice taunted and teased him as he combed his fingers through his freshly bleached locks. His parents hadn’t been happy with the new look, but it had been them who wanted to push the whole acting agenda on him. They were just going to have to deal with the consequences of their own actions. Okay but… where the hell was he meant to go, and where the hell was he meant to be?

"not again..."
the girl whispered to herself, as sunlight flooded into the small apartment room that Bexley called home, she rolls over at when the rays hit her eyes, not wanting to wake up and face the day just yet. As she does so, her arms hit someone in the bed next to her, she must've brought someone home once again, "Get up and out." She said as she climbed out of bed and threw the stranger's clothes at them. This seemed to be a routine for her, regardless of what her plans were the next day, stay out at the bars or clubs until at least 1 am, bring someone home, then kick them out before she leaves to work. The dark haired girl walks to the bathroom and opens a bottle of pain medications, hoping to find some relief for the pressure in her head, lots of water would follow as well. She twists the handle in the shower and waits for it to get hot, while doing so, she begins to remove the clothes she had previously been wearing. As her Deftones t-shirt and underwear fall to the floor, Bexley steps over to the shower to check the temperature, it was just right, and right on time too, her alarm began going off on her phone, reminding her that she only had an hour to get ready. "Well fuck.." She curses under her breath, she had only just gotten home at 3am, so she had only gotten about 2 hours of sleep, nothing that she couldn't fix though.

After washing off all of the regrets and dinginess from the night before, Bexley steps out of the shower and wraps a towel around her body. Retreating into her bedroom, she reveals that the stranger who was once laying in her bed, had now left the apartment. "About time you left." She hisses underneath her breath, right as her phone goes off again, someone had texted her thanking her for the night, with an eyeroll and two taps, the person was blocked. Bexley walks into her closet and begins looking through the many dark colored clothes that she had, trying to put together an outfit. After a good 10 minutes, she finally picked out something that she would be comfortable in enough to still recover from what was left of her hangover. A pair of black sweatpants fly from her hands onto the bed that was still waiting to be made. Not but a few seconds after, Bexley comes out from the closet in her brassier, which the bra would double as her shirt for the day. Slipping one leg after the other into the pants, she then put on her socks before her white tennis shoes, and to complete her outfit, she accessorized with a few layered necklaces.

Bexley pulled into the parking lot of Flash Films only five minutes before she was required to be there. Many of the cast and crew were already there as they were a lot more punctual than the herself. The girl flashes her ID card to the attendant who sat at the front of the building, "Good morning, Ms. Jayde." the soft spoken employee had greeted the costume designer, she returns the greeting with a small wave that turned into her raising her sunglasses to the top of her head. A sip of her coffee and 30ft later, she was in her designated area for the day, it was a room that seemed like a closet had basically exploded. This would be unacceptable on any other day if she had gotten home earlier in the night, but that wasn't today. The big items were picked up off the floor and hung back up, but anything that wasn't being used in a shoot that day wouldn't be touched until later, and that was only if she felt better. Any could tell Bexley's mood based on how her work area appeared, if it was messy and disorganized, you would try to stay on her good side, or better yet, avoid her at all costs. When things were put in their place and you could walk in without fear of tripping and drowning in clothes, you would know she got an adequate amount of sleep and was very relaxed that day. Majority of the time though, things were very messy, Bexley wasn't one to be consistent with her sleep schedule, she basically lived by the rule of not letting anyone know her next move. With one push of a button, music would begin blasting throughout the room, this let the other employees know that she was actually there and somewhat alive.

It was Artem’s big day. Not only was it her birthday, but it was her twenty-first birthday, and after so much drama these past couple of days a night of letting loose seemed like the perfect escape for her and the rest of the cast and crew. She cleaned up her, what she considered to be, modest-sized mansion and put out bowls of chips and such. Artem had never been a big partier, so she wasn’t completely sure what was appropriate for one such as this. Still, she set up the best she could, but the other girls from the set were coming early which made her feel a little more at ease about the set up not being completely perfect.

When the girls did finally arrive, Artem was still curling her hair, making sure it was big and wavy for the night ahead. She let everyone in and let them do their things with decorating and setting up, all she asked was that things remained neat and tidy, it was her one request for the night. Of course she got some eye rolls from certain people, but it was to be expected.

In all honesty, the girl was just nervous about her first party back on the arm of her ex, Alfie all while it being at her own house with her new ex, Monty coming too. She didn’t want anything to go down between the two of them and hated the idea of having to worry about it all night while she was supposed to be having fun. Then again, maybe this was her punishment for putting both of the guys through so much…

With a sigh the blonde did some touch ups to her makeup, deciding to go for more of a soft glam rather than something too showy. There were gold sparkles on her lid and a nude lip that complimented her skin tone. After changing, she headed back downstairs to where the rest of the girls were and gave a twirl in her outfit for the night, “Too much?” She asked hesitantly, looking down at it before up to the group for a final approval.

The day of shooting had finally come to an end, it went a lot smoother than Kyla thought it would have. There were only a few retakes of certain scenes, but other than that, there was nothing to complain about. After retreating from the building into her trailer, the poodle skirt and white tee was stripped from the girl's body then hung up nice and neat, almost as if it had never been touched. The costume designer, Bexley, would be making rounds later to collect everybody's outfits from the shoot. Once she had redressed in the outfit that she arrived in, Kyla gathered her items began the journey to the parking lot to drive home. She would need to stop at a few places before though, it was Artem's birthday and they were throwing her a party and Kyla put herself in charge of decorations. A few of the other girls would be there as well to help out before the rest of the cast and crew arrived for the event, sadly the one person that the girl really wanted to attend would not be showing up as he was "busy" that night. Anthony not showing up wouldn't stop her from having an absolute blast at the party though.

The first stop was a Party City, the balloons and other decorations were preordered so Kyla wouldn't have to worry about being harassed by paparazzi for too long. About 50 balloons were ordered, along with two gold balloons that were the numbers 1 & 2 to represent Artem's 21st birthday. This was the best age to turn, you could finally drink legally, which didn't really stop anyone before, honestly. The liquor and food would be under control by Bexley, who could actually buy the alcohol without any worry. With the items needed to decorate acquired, only one step remained and that was to get dressed for the party itself. Upon arriving home, Kyla slipped out of her vehicle, being careful as to not let any of the balloons she had just retrieved from the store escape from the backseat into the sky. After unlocking the front door to her home, the girl made her way up the stairs into the master bedroom that belonged to her. She continued to get ready by changing into the dress that her coworkers and her had agreed on that looked best. It would also go pretty well with the color scheme of the party they were throwing as well. After applying some light makeup that consisted of a winged eyeliner and a nude lip, her shoes were slipped on and she exited the house once more.

A short drive later and Artem's house started to come into view, excitement bubbled inside of Kyla, threatening to explode, ready for the party to begin. Before it could though, she had to decorate. She walked inside as she was greeted by Artem, "Hey Art, happy birthday, girl! The big 2-1!" She smiled at her friend as she continued into the house, a trail of balloons following behind her, still threatening to fly away in the breeze that was passing by outside the door. Once inside, she began tying the balloons to the stairs and putting streamers around the house as well. Kyla stepped back once the tasks were completed and grinned, everything looked just as she planned for it to. Artem came back downstairs finally, Kyla was beyond ecstatic to reveal the decor that she had worked hard on putting up. Artem gave a quick twirl and questioned the group in regards to her complete outfit, "Too much?" There was no need for more than a quick glance that Kyla knew that what the girl had on wasn't too much, in fact, if it was herself, she would've gone a lot more bold, but to each their own. "You look amazing, Art." She gave her a big smile and a quick hug, ready for the night to get started.

The work day was finally over. The day had gone surprisingly smoothly, barely any obstacles to fix along the way so Megumi's day was pretty good so far in her books. The retakes were very sparse, Felix wasn't constantly stopping the shoot every 5 minutes to give notes or tweak things about the scene. No one complained about the god forsaken coffee she gets for them every morning and there wasn't any problems with any of the departments, or at least no concerns that reached Meg. Most of cast and crew went home earlier than Meg, being 1st AD and all, she had to make sure all equipment was put away properly and that departments didn't have any last minute concerns for the next day of filming. But luckily it didn't take her too long to get everything checked and sorted. Packing up her things into her tote bag, Meg was finally free to go home. Usually she'd be working from the time she set foot in her apartment, but not tonight, this was one night that she had special plans.

It was Artem's birthday! Meg was never the type to go out and party but she always made exceptions for birthday party's, if it was someone's birthday celebration, Meg wasn't gonna refuse the invitation. Her first stop was the best bakery in town, at least in her opinion. Their cakes were to die for and she had her sights set on their strawberry shortcake for Artem. It was a win-win, Artem could get a cake to blow out some candles and it could serve as an inexpensive gift from Meg. Ordering the cake from the bakery, she made a request for the staff to write 'Happy 21st Birthday, Art!' on the top of the cake and also asked for candles to be added to her order. After waiting a few minutes, she thanked the staff and took the cake with her to her car.

Driving slowly and carefully as to not ruin the beautiful cake, Megumi made it home so she could get dressed quickly. She took the cake with her and once she was in her apartment, she found a spot for it in the fridge and placed it there. Now all she needed to do was get dressed. The outfit hung on a hanger and was laid out on her bed. The outfit was something you wouldn't expect Meg to wear to say the least, everything she was wearing tonight was practically on loan from her sister. Looking at the outfit once more, she let out a sigh. "It's now or never." And with that Megumi got dressed. She was wearing a spaghetti strap, low cut, black dress that fell around her mid-thighs with a slit on the right side. If you looked at the dress on her, you could see it hugged her curves in all the right places. She placed on a golden garter thing that her sister told her went with the dress and wore a pair of black high heels. And on top of all that, Mari made swore to wear the push-up bra that Meg never wore and was gifted to her last year for Christmas. Her hair was down and flowing which was rare for Meg and a light amount of make up was put on her face. She looked completely different from what everyone was used to.

Bringing a small body bag that matched the dress, she grabbed her keys and the cake from the fridge and made her way to her car. She had to get used to walking in heels, but she thought it best to not wear them while driving so she took them off when she reached her car. She was able to make her way over to Art's house and walking in, she was in awe, the place look amazing and expensive. "Happy Birthday, Art! Finally legal!" She greeted Art once she came inside. "I'll just put this in your fridge to you can blow out your candles later." Meg said as they walked into the house in search of the fridge. Luckily enough, she found it and placed it in there. Finding her way around the house, she found Kyla setting up decorations. "Woah, great work Kyl. Looks pretty good." She complimented as she looked at what Kyla had done with the place. Hearing Artem, Megumi turned around and saw Art in their stunning outfit and asked for the group's opinion. "It's never too much for the birthday girl. You look stunning." She reassured Artem.

Fred paced the sidewalk, absently fiddling with his black tie. Yes, he was stressed about finding a gift for Artem of course, but Artem was nice. He knew she wouldn't badmouth his gift no matter what it was, at least not to his face.

What Fred was even more nervous about was the actual party, doubling as another date with Maya--something he was ecstatic for, to be sure. But Fred was growing more and more anxious about their sex life (or lack thereof) by the day. Maya was free-spirited and open, it wasn't really a secret she'd seen her share of bedroom rendezvous. No doubt she was used to more experienced guys. Dudes who knew how to take charge, had at least a rudimentary knowledge of how to please a woman, and weren't too crippled by anxiety to make a move. All of those things were the opposite of Fred, the 23 year old virgin.

He knew he needed to chill. It was this raging angst that kept him involuntarily celibate for this long to begin with. But he liked Maya so much it was difficult to relax when faced with the thought of losing her to his own shortcomings.

Fred fumbled with his tie some more, staring at his reflection in the nearest shop window. He frowned, second-guessing his decision not hide his face under his glasses, or merely trim up the scruff on his chin instead of shaving it off completely for the occasion. He quickly abandoned the thoughts and his attempts at the tie, however, when he saw a woman in white sashaying his way, glossy dark hair bouncing behind her.

Fred whirled around to face her, looking at once completely bewildered yet enraptured by the sight of Maya in her slinky cocktail dress and sexy heels. "Hey!" The nervous fellow blushed, wearing the goofiest of grins as she approached. His hands nearly went rogue to grab her by the waist and pull her close to him, but his rational mind chimed in with the usual apprehension, and he quickly lost his nerve.

Hands glued to his sides to wipe his sweaty palms on his trousers, he stepped forward to give her forehead a tender kiss instead. "You look fucking hot!" Fred blurted out. "I mean, y-ya know, really good. I mean...you look beautiful," He babbled, fumbling for the most respectful way to express his appreciation for the look while trying to tear his gaze away from her cleavage.

As the couple walked together, Maya helpfully suggested some stores they could try, and Fred just nodded eagerly, grateful for her help. "Thanks for this, by the way," He flashed a sincere smile, holding the shop door open for her to step inside. They wandered around the boutique, but Fred found it difficult to concentrate on the merchandise, his gaze instead drawn to the hypnotic swing of Maya's hips as she walked.

"Oh cool, what about a plushie?" He grinned at a big, soft plush strawberry, plucking it out of a bin full of other brightly colored, wildly overpriced plush toys. Giving it a squeeze, he was surprised to hear it squeak, and quickly dropped it back where he found it. "Oh crap wait, that's a dog toy," He mumbled sheepishly, finally realizing he'd wandered into a section of fancy pet clothes and items.

"About time."
a sigh of relief escaped the girl's mouth after checking the time. It seemed like this day would never come to an end, only thing left to do was to collect all of the costumes from the trailers. Visiting one by one to each of the cast member's respective trailers, most of them properly hung the items up, which made Bexley's life a hell of a lot easier, but there were a few that didn't have the same etiquette. The girl wouldn't have time to stop by her apartment because she had to make a few pitstops before making her way to the birthday party for Artem. She wasn't very fond of the girl, but Bexley wasn't one to turn down and invite to a party. With only 2 hours of sleep, this means she would have to find a way to get energy for the rest of the night. Her go to options were either cocaine or an energy drink, and there would be enough coke at the party to get her by, so a redbull it was. She retreated into the break room that the staff members typically hung out in and grabbed one of the drinks out of the mini fridge. A few gulps later, and it was gone, Bexley was really desperate to have some sort of motivation other than drugs and guys to go to this party, and lack of sleep was getting in the way. Once her daily chores on set were done, she decided that since there would be no time to stop at home, she would just change in the costume department. She learned a thing or two from dressing people, anything from models, to theatre, and one of the most beneficial things was quick changes.

Five minutes later and Bexley was all dressed up and ready to head out, she scans her id on the time clock then begins her journey to her vehicle. Once she arrived to it, she sat in there for a few minutes waiting for the air conditioner to cool the car down, it was pretty hot outside, but that was typical Los Angeles weather, it was nothing compared to Texas or Louisiana though. After a fifteen minute drive, Bexley finally arrived at the local liquor store, she frequented the business often, so it was no surprise to the cashier when she walked in. "Good afternoon, Bex." The man behind the counter spoke up as he watched the girl enter the store, with a quick smile and a wave, she was on her way up and down the isles, grabbing various bottles of liquor. None of these things were super fancy, but she just assumed that Kat would bring those since she was paid a lot better than Bexley was. The clinking of bottles echoed throught the empty store as she made her way up to the register. One by one, the bottles were put onto the counter and scanned, Having a party tonight?" the man, whose name was Victor, said as he continued scanning the items. Bexley wasn't too fond of small talk, but she was getting attention from the man, "Well of course, Vic, what else would I need all these bottles for? She spoke in a sultry voice and she leans onto the counter, Victor looks down at her chest and then back up to her face, obviously blushing. Time and time again he had tried to get Bexley to go home with him, and although the girl considered it a few times, she would have to be absolutely plastered before doing so. "Have fun, and you have my number if you want to hit me up. He winked at the girl as she sashayed out of the store, carrying three bags filled with various bottles.

Fortunatly enough, Bexley arrived at Artem's home right after the decorating was finished. There was no way she was having a part in that, she was tired enough and didn't have the "decorate for your birthday" kind of relationship with the birthday girl. "What's up, bitchesssss!" She raised the bags in the air as she made her entrance. "I've got every liquor you could ask for." She begins to unbag the bottles on what seemed like an appropriate table, but she couldn't care any less about whether they should go there or not. Bexley finds the closest mirror and begins to check herself out, making sure that she looked hot as fuck for anyone who would be showing up tonight since her and Kat had a bet on who could get different people into bed that night. After blowing herself a kiss, she turns around and looks at the few people that were already here, those being Megumi, Kyla, and of course Artem. "I thought more people would be here by now, who wants to show up late to a party that Kat, Tatum, and I are at?" She gives a little pout and then has a quick giggle, "Just kiddingggg, of course the star is Ms. Artem, who else would it be?" Bexley turns and looks at the girl who was basically asking for approval and validation on her outfit choice for the night, but it would be nothing compared to how the three so-called "Party Girls" would be wearing.

Katrinel Arzt hated mornings, everyone knew, it'd even been posted in a few articles, but what could you expect from somehow whose nightly ritual included partying until at least 2 am. That’s why her morning started off with too many alarms and endless moans and sighs as her body protested her strict filming schedule, even after all these years of it. Kat easily disregarded the body half covered in silk sheets next to her, even in the chaos and mess of Kat's life, she had a morning ritual down to a tee. First, it was a line, or two, of some powder substance off her bedside table, followed by two more pills that certainly weren't prescription down her throat. That was enough to have her on her feet without another protest. Second, a large, black, mocha cold brew that was left outside her door every morning by her father's assistant, and today it was accompanied by a strawberry tart. With some coffee in her system came the third step, stalking up to the king-size bed, beautiful Los Angeles viewable far below out the large glass walls behind it. She grasped one of her soft, feathered pillows in her hand and hit the comatose body, sending them flying off the side of the bed in a panic of sheets and limbs. "Mornin' baby, you're welcome for last night, blah, blah, blah, now time to get the fuck out." Kat was known in this town for a lot of things, but kindness and graciousness were not among them, and she was off into the locked bathroom before she could hear their response, knowing they'd be long gone, just another nameless face, by the time she was done. That'd just how she liked it. Fourth was a long, hot shower before a full face of make-up and hair, followed by assembling a crop top and leather shorts for the day, though not before she stood naked on her penthouse balcony for just a few moments, relishing the feeling of peace and freedom before a long day of work and partying. Fifth, the raven-haired addict would pour a bottle of something, today was some expensive vodka, into a large metallic travel bottle, shoving it into her leather purse. Then, she was out the door and slipping into her driver's car. "Morning Jerry, how was your night? Mine was absolutely delicious, thanks for asking." This was their daily encounter, Jerry only every responded in clipped one-word answers, not rudely, just reserved, he wasn't much of a talker, but Kat didn't mind it one bit, she preferred hearing herself talk anyway.

Katrinel walked on set with boundless confidence, leather heels clicking against cement and royal waves to the cast and crew as she passed. Today, she was more than excited about filming, because today, they were filming the musical. She knew much of the cast dreaded the last-minute addition, but Kat was absolutely pumped for it. She'd played the lead in every musical in high school, she'd filled auditoriums and ended shows with standing ovations and flying flowers, and if by some chance the acting thing didn't work out, she knew she had singing to fall back on. With half the travel bottle of vodka gone and time flying, Kat was done and felt great about it, though she couldn't say the same for some of her castmates, and she was back in the car on the way to her apartment before she knew it.

Kat was basically buzzing as she got ready for the party. She stripped her clothes and shoes like a second skin, leaving a trail for her cleaner to pick up later. Kat easily pulled a pink knitted set from her walk-in closet, a crop top and mini skirt to match her best friend, Bex, and pulled it on, topped off with a pink choker and a selection of pink and gold necklaces and jewelry and pristine, platformed, spiky pink boots. She filled a bag with bottles and shot sleeves from her stocked alcohol collection, an assortment of darks and lights, flavored and not, one bottle of daiquiri mix she'd picked up for the birthday girl, and a small leather wallet of powdered party favors. Jerry had called to tell her he'd had a family emergency, a minor inconvenience, so with glowing, red helmet in hand, she was out the door and mounting her metallic, red, Ducati motorcycle. The ride was easy, riding motorcycles was second nature to Kat, and she didn't love anything more than the warm California air on her skin and the way her hair whipped out like wings under her helmet.

Kat pulled into the driveway of the mansion fashionably late, she always was, late enough to skip the decorating and getting ready fuss from the girls, but early enough not to miss any of the fun, or to find Bexley going crazy without her. "What's up babies! Miss me?" Katrinel strolled into the house with purpose, already pulling bottles out of her bag and waving them in the air before setting them on display next to the ones already out. "And for the birthday girl…" She moved straight for Artem, handing her the bottle of mix. With the leather pouch slipped into her purse, she tossed her empty bag and helmet in some corner before taking in the cast of people in front of her.

It felt unreal, Thea was sitting right next to him and as he smelled the fruity aroma coming from her ginger locks; it almost felt like home. He remembered their magical night as if it was yesterday. Prom, the biggest event of the year, in the backseat of his car. His old ford explorer worked like a charm but now he was picking her up in something more fancy, secretly hoping it would impress her. Carter had the feeling he wasn't the only sucker taking her out for a drive here in LA and unfortunately it seemed like obnoxious, flashy asshole was the dress code in this area.
'So, to the right you'll see the ridiculously expensive cars and the over exaggerated birthday decoration you'll only find here, in Los Angeles,' Carter broke the silence as he made some hand gestures to the building. It was very obvious where the party was as there were probably more balloons than people at this point.
Carter got out of the car to open up the door for his date of tonight, not only did he open the door, he added a gracious bow as an old-fashioned gentleman. 'I have to say,' Carter leaned against the car door, scabbing off the white paint with his fingernails. 'I'm really happy you're here.' He was not nervous, he was never nervous but Thea made him feel like that high-school kid all over again and though things had changed, Carter knew she was still mad at him. Deep down inside but that's what girls did, they cropped things up and one day she would explode all over him and he was just counting the days.
His love life had been awfully boring up till now so an exploding girl or not, it would still be a girl. Carter had been living with his roommates Jinx and Zain for the time being, Jinx was awesome. She had everything a girl could wish for, she was tough and spoke her mind. Carter jokingly mentioned marrying once or twice but he wasn't sure if she got the memo.
Zain on the other hand, was the opposite of nice. Everything he did seemed to annoy Carter, the way he forgot his dishes, leaves his underwear on the couch and the sound of his creaking bed every time he brings home another willing victim. The New Yorkers just wouldn't get a long and lately it's been getting more heated, especially since Carter has been speaking up about it.
Lost in thoughts he held the scribble of paint in his hand before facing Thea in her gorgeous green eyes, trying to keep his eyes up at this point. She said not to get handsy but otherwise they would've never arrived at the party, the backseat seemed just so comfortable. He could already hear Nick tell him to not get too excited which obviously would be answered with a ''hell no, there's enough Carter for everyone.'' The disapproving look on his face already made Carter snort by just the thought.
'Right, so, I totally forgot a gift. Do you think she'll mind?' He added to avoid any uncomfortable silences for the both of them with a sweet smile, 'we're the gifts ourselves, am I right?'

You are the song that I'll be singing my whole life through

"No no no you might be onto something here!" Maya exclaimed, giggling madly at Fred's chosen gift of a dog toy. Wandering to a nearby shelf, she selected a collar printed with strawberries. "Now all we need is the pet store and you've for yourself a gift." She lightly teased, patting the taller gentleman's shoulder in reassurance.

Taking her date's hand, Maya led Fred down the aisles of the boutique once more for gifts fit for a human. "Maybe this?" She piped up, showcasing a luxury-but-not-too-luxury, strawberry scented set of hair products. She glanced at the box, then at Fred. "I admit it's kinda pricey. I could chip in if you want though!" She offered jovially.

After finally agreeing on the gift and paying for it, the couple walked out of the store and into the fresh outside air. Maya grinned, holding the shopping bag in one hand and hugging Fred's arm with the other. She couldn't pretend she didn't love the relative ease and simplicity of their relationship, especially in comparison to past tumultuous ones she had been in. That they could go to the mall and shop for a gift without any drama or conflict or fight occurring was a very welcome change. Cuddling up to his arm, an idea crossed her head. "Wanna sit down for a bit? Just hang out and talk y'know?." The girl proposedd, pleased to recieve a nod from her boyfriend.

Well.......sorta boyfriend. Embarassingly, Maya wasn't sure they were actually together. She'd changed her status to "in a relationship" and routinely referred to him as her boyfriend, assuming Fred would either jump on board and consider it a happy surprise or politely correct her. However, none of the above happened with Fred not quite addressing her relationship upgrade or referring to her as a girlfriend. She tried not to think about it too much, but the dead silence she was met with on all accounts ate her up a little bit inside, even if Fred still remained kind and sweet and devoted to her.

What she couldn't ignore was how much she liked Fred, how happy and even flustered the dork made her. His virginity made her slightly more apprehensive about being forward than previous relationships, wanting to ensure his first time was nice and not some drunk hookup, no matter how badly she wanted Fred or was attracted to him. However, due to recent conversations, Maya was hopeful tonight would be the night. And if it wasn't Maya would be sure to claim at least one first.

As they seated themselves onto a green bench, Maya rested her head on Fred's shoulder "Hey Fred?" She piped up. Her partner turned around, glancing at her curiously. Maya offered a bashful smile. "I'm gonna kiss you now, okay? You can just stop me or whatever if you don't wanna."

With no signs of resistance, Maya leant in for a short but sweet kiss, gently cupping Fred's cheeks. That wasn't enough, and her arms wrapped around Fred's neck, diving in for a longer, more passionate one. Finally, she pulled away; noticing the flush on Fred's cheeks and giggling happily. "You're so cute." She grinned, covering his face in tiny kisses.

Maya stood up, shifting her position so she could now sit on his lap, her legs draped over his. Pulling him into a hug, Maya nuzzled into his neck with a satisfied sigh, deciding to halt her plans on making out in public until she either got some cuddles from Fred, or he initiated it again. "You're pretty awesome, you know that right?" She whispered, slightly muffled by his neck. "Way too good to be true." She concluded, hugging her sort-of-boyfriend tighter.

Nick Finnbar
Welcome to your life, there's no turning back
"I got chiiills, they're multiplyin.." Nick sang softly under his breath as the pair trudged up the driveway to Artem's Hollywood Hills mansion. "And I'm looooosin contro-holll.."

They'd just begun rehearsals and filming for the Grease episode, but of course Nick knew every lyric to every song in that production. This wasn't his first musical, and he was looking forward to it after graduating high school and leaving that stuff behind. "Cuz the pow-weeer you're supplyiinnn..." Nick turned to Bianca with a grin, raising the volume of his singing voice a bit. "It's electrifyin'!" He playfully pulled the brunette into his arms as he sang the last word with gusto, channeling his very best Travolta impression.

Nick held her close to plant a kiss upon her delicate pink lips for about the hundreth time since he'd picked her up a half hour ago. The boy couldn't help himself; he'd only been crushing on the sitcom star for the last decade. Now that they were an official couple and he had the green light to kiss her, among some other things, he wanted nothing more than some alone time with his very own Penny Kirby.

"Mmmfff," Nick pouted, nuzzling his face in her neck before covering her with kisses down to her clavicle. "You look so hooott.." He whined between smooches. "Uughh why'd we go to this party? Shoulda just stayed at your place," He teased, letting his hands wander over her hips to happily grope her behind.

The canoodling couple eventually made it inside when Nick finally realized the poor girl was trying to juggle their gifts while being felt up. He snatched the packages from her grasp to carry them the rest of the way inside, leaving them on a table with the other gifts. They had arrived a little early to help some of the girls decorate, but between his dorky singing of "Birthday" by the Beatles for Artem, chatting with Bianca and the other girls, and just generally goofing off, the sprightly fellow didn't really get much decorating done to help out.

Kat arrived not long after the young couple did, bearing even more booze. "Aww thanks, Kat, you shouldn't have," He jokingly reached for one of the bottles she unpacked, as if she'd brought them all just for him. Trying not to picture the tasteful centerfold of her fully nude figure snapped from Carter's own copy of Kat's Playboy issue. At the same time Nick gave himself a mental facepalm, just realizing he'd nearly made a fatal error in forgetting to delete that photo from his phone, and reminded himself to do so asap.

As they finished decorating, Nick couldn't help but smile watching Bee strain to reach up and hang her last piece of wall decor. He chuckled, sidling up behind her to pluck it out of her hand. "Teamwork makes the dream work," He gave her an adoring grin and a quick kiss on her nose when she whirled around to face him. Then held up the decoration to the wall before he affixed it there, in order to get Bee's opinion on exactly where she wanted it hung.

Nick glanced up at arrival of the red-haired vlogger, Thea; happy to see his good friend Carter just behind her, as he rarely showed up to events like this. "Hey, it's our vlog girl! Ah shit, she brought Carter," He smirked, jokingly feigning a dissapointed eyeroll. Wrapping his arms around Bianca to hug her from behind, they watched more people start to stream in after the last couple. Someone turned the music up and the party was officially underway.

Giving her sides a little squeeze to get Bee's attention, Nick leaned over to ask softly in her ear, as the volume level in the room was beginning to increase with every new arrival. "Want something to drink?"
