  Appearance : He's tall, at about 6'4", and built for fighting. He's spent his entire life in Dauntless, learning how to fight, and it shows. Broad shoulders, thick biceps, too many scars to count on him. He has lighter brown hair that he usually keeps short, to give opponents less to grab on to in a battle, and he usually wears a loose, black or gray undershirt with a black jacket and jeans, something loose and comfortable.

  Family: His father, Henry James, is a retired instructor, his mother died. He has a brother who's in Erudite and a nephew who's joining with the initiate class.
  
  History: Axel spent his entire life knowing that he'd never leave Dauntless. Even before he made his choice, even before his blood hit those coals, he knew he'd live and die there. He was the first to jump off the train, first to fall into the net, first in his class, and first of those he joined with to become an instructor. Part of that was because he knew how it all worked. He was raised in that compound, he knew its inner workings, he knew there was a net to catch him, and he knew he could make that jump. But a larger part of it was that he knew he had nothing to lose. He was as reckless as the worst of them, he wouldn't hesitate for an instant. He took stupid risks if it got the outcome he wanted, and it paid off.
  
  Strengths: Hand-To-Hand fighting, accuracy with a gun, battle strategy.
  
  Weaknesses: Most social situations, he's overly competitive, and he's incredibly reckless. His fear landscape is at an eight.

  Appearance: The sorest point of Luke's appearance is his hair. Everyone in his family has dark, brown or black hair, and he got the blond gene. He looks nothing like his uncle, Axel James, as he's thinner, wiry and lean instead of huge and buff. He has a scar on his jaw, a small white mark that only really shows in light areas, and longer hair, almost shaggy. He usually wears any kind of t-shirt and jeans.

  Family: His Uncle, Axel James, is an instructor, while his father is one of the many brainiacs in Erudite, along with his mother.
  
  History: Most kids in Erudite share some similar traits. Smart, of course. Maybe a bit manipulative. From the very beginning, Lucas didn't quite fit in. For one, he wasn't unintelligent, but he was nowhere near as smart as many of the people he grew up with. He had to try twice as hard to keep up. His father often told him stories of being raised in Dauntless. Of course, in his father's stories, they were heathens who risked their lives for a flash of adrenaline, but his eyes told a different story, a kind of wistfulness that showed that he was wondering what could've been if he'd stayed in Dauntless with his family. It was that little flash of regret that caused Lucas to let his blood drop into the coals, despite the little murmur of shock he heard from the Erudites behind him. He'd met his Uncle a few times before, though they obviously weren't very close considering the whole, 'Faction before Blood' thing. It was more visits of convenience, causing there to be a slight... Hostility on Lucas' side of things.

Name: Jade Finley

Age: 16

Appearance: Short hair, dyed gray but originally a dark brown in color. She's about 5'7", athletic, and generally wearing a look that says she'd rather be left alone.

Faction of Choosing: Dauntless

Job w/in Faction: Initiate

Family: She has a couple family members in Amity, and a brother who chose Erudite.

History: Amity to Dauntless isn't a very normal transfer, but Jade never fit in with the farming, kind type. For one, she was the first in years to get in a fight, because some guy was annoying her and she didn't have much patience. How was she to know that he had no idea how to fight and would never hit a woman? It wasn't really her fault that he got a broken arm and a cracked rib. Needless to say, nobody in her faction was really surprised when she sprinkled her blood into the hot coals, choosing to leave the farmers and make a life of her own among the brave, the fearless, the slightly idiotic Dauntless. It was a lot more complicated than she'd anticipated. For one, she knew practically nobody, as there weren't many Amity transfers. The farmers liked farming, and they weren't giving it up to punch people. And two, the people-punchers were in seriously good shape, and she wasn't at their level. She'd watched them for years before transferring, of course, but that was from a distance, and she'd never seen the insane, train-jumping thing. If she had, perhaps she would've joined her brother in Erudite.

Strengths: Not much. She's in pretty good shape, knows a bit about agriculture, and is pretty good at making friends.

Weaknesses: Too many to list. She's never fought anyone with actual skill, she's totally in the dark to all Dauntless goings, and she's nowhere near as physically fit as the people born there.​

Her mother, was ex-dauntless, her father born abnegation, and her two older brothers one in Abnegation, and the other in Candor

History:
Born in abnegation Dani had always felt out of place, she was more daring than that of her family but not enough for dauntless, she was smarter, and honest, so she never really saw herself in any particular faction. Growing up she tried her best to follow the rules, but there were just so damn many, it was hard for her to keep track. And although her family loved her she would never be the golden boy her big brother was. That was when she knew that she needed to be somewhere where there weren't so many rules, where she could be free no matter the cost, and dauntless was just that place.

Strengths:
Fast, and Small so she’s good at dodging and running

Weaknesses:
She’s never thrown a punch, and never experienced anything outside of Abnegation so there’s a lot of social things she misses​

Family: Mother and Father both deceased, both dauntless born, and one younger sister too young to choose so she's under her care, and one older sister who picked abnegation. She had a niece but had never met her, and wouldn't meet her until the start of initiate training this year

History: Piper grew up in Dauntless, and from a very young age she knew that's where she belonged. With one of the sharpest minds, and bodies, in her initate class she graduated number one, and moved on to administration climbing the ladder very quickly through her cunning tactics and no bull shit attitude. Just last year she was promoted to oversee initiate training, and she couldn't be more excited to have a say in who could join her beloved faction. But she wouldn't show it, she would be tougher than ever before, and push her initates and instructors to be the best.

Strengths: Hand to hand and knife throwing, smart, a people person

Weaknesses: Despite going through training, she still has many fears, her fear landscape is still at a solid 21 and hasn't moved since training; Can be seen as cold by people who don't know her; Guns​

Atlas​

Name: Atlas Orion

Age: 26

Appearance: Atlas is tall standing at 6'2.5" although he claims to be 6'3" just to make himself feel better. He has a strong athletic body weighing 180 lbs that's built for combat. He has light blonde hair and steel blue eyes complimented with many faint scars from growing up in dauntless. He also has many tattoos littering his body including a rather large one on his arm showing a temple from the old world.

Family:
Anna Orion, mother - Deceased. She died too early in his life for him to have any memories
Xavier Orion, father - alive. He was an instructor at Atlas age but retired and now designs tattoos
Percy Orin, brother- Amity. He left a few years ago, was never the Dauntless type

History: Atlas was a true dauntless from birth, always finding his way to the knives and other dangerous objects from day one. He was born into a happy family. He had an older brother and two happily married parents. But a few short years after his birth, disaster struck. There was a freak accident which ended in his mother falling into the chasm. Not much is known about the accident to this day. With the death of his wife heavy on his heart Xavier turned his attention to training his sons to be the best so they could get high positions. From day one it was obvious Percy wasn't going to stick to Dauntless so all of his fathers efforts went into training Atlas. When the time came for his choosing ceremony he knew that he wasn't going to leave Dauntless. So picked Dauntless and never looked back. While in his initiate days he was the first to do everything and always happily volunteered. He was the first to jump on the train, first to fall in the net, and in the end he was the first in his class. Atlas quickly climbed through the ranks to his Instructor position, knowing he wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps.

Strengths:
High pain tolerance: One of the first lessons his dad taught him was to never show you were in pain. He learned how to not flinch when something is thrown at you, To not even blink when a knife is in your thigh, and even how to build his pain tolerance. Sure it was a bit controversial but it helped him in the long run.
melee combat: Being able to shoot a gun is all well and good but if you cant do anything when they get knock it out of your hands then you might as well be dead. Atlas finds the most important thing to know is how to fight in close quarters.
Endurance: Long years training with his father taught him how to push himself to his limits and then even further.

Weaknesses:
Reckless: Though he is well trained he also does quite stupid things just for the fun of it. Like the time he tried to learn how to swallow swords from an old book he found.
Competitive: Like most others in Dauntless he is extremely competitive. Mainly due to how much they encourage everyone there to be competitive. You better not try to take his cake because he gets stabby

Cassiopeia Blair


Name: Cassiopeia Blair

Age: 16

Appearance: Cassiopeia has a slim and dainty form, standing at about 5'4 and weighing 106 pounds. She has curly light brown hair and bright blue eyes. The female stands out a bit in Dauntless due to her delicate appearance.

Both her parents only want whats best for her. They were a bit shocked by her choice but are supportive.

History: Cassiopeia has always lived a rather bland and normal life but she had always craved excitement. She wanted something more than constant studying and quizzes. She wanted to feel the wind rush through her hair and feel her heart skip a beat as she did something daring. She wanted to be something more than just smart. So when it was her turn to choose she let her blood fall on the coals and smiled as her blood sizzled, binding her to her choice. She was ready for something more. She was ready for her future and she was going to prove to everyone that she could be just as Dauntless as everyone else.

Strengths: Something Cassiopeia has been good at since a young age would be talking her way out of situations. She can get almost anyone to believe her and can get out of mostly every situation. Besides a few with her dad.. She is also willing to try anything and everything at least once. She is ready to push herself to who she wants to be.

Weaknesses:
She isn't a big fan of water and will avoid deep bodies of it at all costs. She also isn't a big fan of lots of smoke, just the way it suffocates you and gets in your lungs makes her feel horrid.​

Name: Anderson Greer "Ander"

Age: 24

Appearance: Ander stands at 6'4" and weighs 156 lbs. He has dark brown hair which he keeps short on the sides and long in the center. He's fairly pale and the only color he has is the colorful tattoos on his arms, neck, and chest along with a septum piercing. People mistake him for a weakling because of his slime frame.

Cassa Greer - Mother - Dauntless turned Amity, Atwood Greer - Father - Amity, Alexandra Greer - Younger Sister - Amity turned Candor.

History:
Growing up in Amity one was expected to be a peaceful little farmer. That wasn't Ander - well, the farmer part. Truth be told he hated gardening. He got along well enough with the other Amity kids but felt like he needed more. At the ceremony, Ander completely shocked his family by choosing Dauntless. They thought he didn't have a fighting bone in his body. They were wrong. So were the people who chose to fight him during initiation. That's the thing when one carries boxes lined with fruit and vegetables for hours a day. He worked his way to become an instructor which wasn't something he had planned for.

Strengths:
Fighting. Willing to do whatever it takes. Strong

Weaknesses: His fear landscape is 11. He feels drawn to the weak initiates who he knows won't make it. Ander is a crappy liar. He fears smalls spaces - claustrophobia. The biggest weakness is his mind because he's self critical.

Very loving family and disappointed in his decision to give up his schooling to become a lawyer and transfer factions. His mother is heartbroken.


History:
Ace Sterling is an honest young man who has a volatile personality and values peace and justice. He is very talkative and learned to debate from a young age. He also knows how to read people's body language to know if someone’s telling the truth or not. Often, Ace can seem rude and inconsiderate. He is also a very courageous young man. He often puts himself into danger when others need his help.

Ace grew up in a loving and honest Candor house. His mother is a Candor instructor for the new initiates, his father is a lawyer in the factions, and his little sister was just a few years younger than him and still in school. His whole life he was working toward following in his father’s footsteps and becoming a lawyer in the Candor faction. From a young age he was told to go to school, learn the law, and become an honest and worthy lawyer. His family viewed this lifestyle as honoring. And then, he took his test.

The day he got his test results back was the day that changed his life forever. He got dauntless. Dauntless? He was always supposed to stay in Candor. He was supposed to become a lawyer. He spent his nights awake thinking about his decision. He loved his family but a whole new life in a new faction sounded exciting. His whole life was filled with expectations from his parents and this was a chance to escape. He heard about the lifestyle the Dauntless lived and he wanted a part of it.

Nervous, he held his head high when he chose Dauntless at the choosing ceremony. He saw his mother weeping in her seat and felt guilty. He knew this was the right choice for him. Besides, he couldn’t turn back now or he’d be deemed as factionless. He was now Dauntless.

Strengths:
Ace will never lie to you. You can always trust him for some honestly when you need it. He is also extremely brave and daring. There isn’t much that scares him and he is always willing to go to dangerous lengths to help others. Ace values friendships and is very loyal when he forms a deep personal relationship. He can hold a very good conversation and is always the life of the party. He loves to laugh and play.


Weaknesses:
Ace is brutally honest and can sometimes rub people the wrong way. He is often told he is inconsiderate of people's feelings because of his blunt honesty. He has also never fought anyone. He’s never had to in Candor. Candor solve all their problems in a healthy debate. He was worried about having no experience in fighting or weapons transferring into Dauntless.​
