Name: Sting S. Heart
Age: 33
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Occupation: Underground Mogul (Weapons and Human Trafficking, Drugs, Other.)
- Appearance
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 201 lbs
Hair: Dark Grey or black, depending on the light. Not quite oily, yet not quite wiry. A bit of a mix, as it were. While mostly soft, overall, it's kind of rough.
Eyes: Deep blue, like if you were out far, far at sea, and were to stare deep, deep into the ocean.
Body: An average body type, with sloping shoulders and a long, kind of thin neck. Despite this, he had powerful muscles stretching all across his body from years of training to be a certain minor goddess's disciple. That's where most of his weight comes from. While his stomach isn't defined, his back, arms, and legs are quite so. His chest isn't quite puffy, but it's powerful, without a doubt.
Attire: While rarely seen outside of a black suit jacket, deep, navy-blue vest, and light grey dress shirt and matching grey tie, he's sometimes seen in a horrendous summer outfit, complete with an Uncle t-shirt and cargo shirt.
Chronic smoker. Has been for a long time. Despite this, maintains his athleticism. Complains of being tired and out of breath because of it, though, and constantly thinks he'd be a better athlete if he quit. But he can't. Sometimes, if he doesn't shave it, he grows a cute little mustache.
- Personality
Despite being such a large business mogul, he's a very quiet individual, only speaking his mind when completely- completely- necessary. As in, he'll let a situation escalate to the point of near all-out brawl, before tearing down the hostility with his soothing voice. He speaks in drawling, bored, tired tones, and constantly seeks challenges to both amuse and challenge himself. He refuses to do the dirty work, simply because he believes no human to be strong enough to do battle with him. Some say he has an ego because of this, but this is solely out of respect for human life, despite running a human trafficking business. He's always top-dog, and will kill mercilessly to re-achieve this status.
- History
Born into a nice home in southern Evergrande, Sting never knew his parents. He was, like most rich kids in a medieval environment, raised by his maids, and though he greatly respected them, knew how value-less their lives truly were. So, he attempted, all his childhood, to convince himself that those who are powerless, are indeed useful. This was, unfortunately, to no avail. Even to this day, he believes in the same philosophy he always has- That the weak, and truly powerless have no worth, and are to be sold and bought like the toys they are. By the time he was sixteen, he'd had sold his parents into slavery, and had taken over the estate.
However, those loyal to his parents staged a coup, to which he peacefully submitted. Having recognized their power over him, he allowed them to do with him as they wished, as he was the one who was powerless in this situation. Surprised with his resignation and willinglessness to fight, they sold him to a fighting guild in Erend to train him to become a sell sword. A horrible idea, as in this town he discovered the power of dark money. While training, he ran a small drug cartel on the side, simultaneously funding his training, and preparing him for the life ahead.
After meeting the minor Goddess of Tsunamis, Zevalhua, and having lost handily to her, he was determined to become her disciple. Taking his training even more seriously, and spending vast quantities of money, he began to study both common naval studies and common naval magics used by the few humans that knew magic. Soon, he found that his heritage was that of those who were once blessed by Zevalhua herself, and was thus attuned to powerful Sea Magics.
Knowing this, he quickly mastered his art of water fencing, and swiftly destroyed the guild that had raised him, as a sign of his power. He then began his human trafficking business- using all the instructors who obeyed him as drivers to train the people he'd later sell off. And so he lived, a dark, cold mogul, slowly building up an empire. Erend was his turf, and no heroes would prosper within it.
- Magic/Spells
MAGIC:
Naval Magics
-
Lat-Lan
- A simple navigational magic that allows the user to be able to see all latitude and longitude lines above them, and on any map that may or may not have them.
-Directional Current
- A more complicated version of
North Star
, he's able to manipulate the currents and winds to drive his ship in whatever direction it needs to go.
-Whirlpool to Davy Jone's Locker
- One of few offensive Naval Magics, it's a banishing spell to keep powerful Sea Monsters that are unkillable with harpoons and the like from his ships.
Water Magics
-Water Manipulation -
He's able to control all forms of liquid water around him, so long as it's not tainted with blood, in its solid form, or in its gaseous form. He's able to make it into blades, into helmets, etc. and cannot drown. He can reduce any resistance against himself to swim as fast as possible.
-Forcipitation -
Forcing water vapor in the air to form water droplets that he can use as weapons.
-Meltion
- Forcing ice to melt to form water that he can use as weapons.
-Card Play
- The ability to generate razor cards out of thin air to use as weapons. They have nothing magical about them, besides just how sharp they are. (They're able to split hairs.)
- Equipment
-His Training - While he wasn't given any specific martial arts training, he was trained to be able to both fight with his fists, and with most kinds of blades, making him extremely deadly.
-His Cards - All cards he uses are razor-lined, making them very, very dangerous to have thrown at you. One hit, one kill is the general rule of thumb.
-His Ruthelessness - Remember that quote? If not, then look back to his history. That in of itself should prove what he's willing to do to get what he wants. Nothing matters, so long as the strong get their way.
-Magic - Duh.
-His Mind - As with most humans, to make up for his weak soul, he's incredibly innovative in ways to get you killed. Great, huh?
-"Shard of Hope" - Being a physical manifestation of Hope in the form of a shattered piece of glass, in emergencies, anyone with a Shard of Hope can use it as a weapon.
- Skills
-Math - Being a mogul requires being proficient at math, unfortunately, so that's what he is. Plus, he's simply intelligent in general.
-Water Immunity(?) - So long as whatever he's drinking is dissolved into water, he cannot be poisoned or anything of the like. Plus, he cannot drown by any means.
-Clear As Day - He can see clearly underwater- while it's a little more blurry than being on land, it's nowhere as bad as normal human underwater sight.
-King of Blackjack - He is unable to lose at most card games, like Black Jack and Poker, despite being "chance".
-Strong - Having been training most of his adult life to become a sell-sword, he's quite physically powerful, despite not being imposing. He can easily lift one more than his weight, and even throw them.
