Hello! Caesar Bradford here once again to walk you through the application of the show. It's worth mentioning that, while millions apply every year, only six men and six women get accepted! So just because you apply doesn't mean you'll be accepted, we only take the best!

We require a lot of information, so that we have a fair guess about who we're taking on. Please remember that if you're younger than 18 or older than 25, you are not eligible for this show! This is for young adults only!

Reasonable face claims - we all love using Ian Somerhalder, but he isn't even close to 25. Keep the ages similar.
All genders and sexualities are fine, but if it's something that's so obscure that nobody would know what it means, stick a quick definition on there as well.

Please no novels for backstory or personality because then I have to read it and it will do you no favors.

Personality: Jamie is probably the most nonchalant and relaxed guy anyone will ever meet. He doesn't make a big deal about anything, and gets along with almost everyone. He is, however, very dedicated to his music, which is one of the few things that can be used to piss him off. Insulting his music makes him doubt himself.
Strengths: Incredibly good singer, good vocal range, ambitious.
Weaknesses: Tends to have a one track mind, doesn't often think about other people when he talks, doesn't take anything seriously.
Good Qualities: Dedicated, focused on his music, very ambitious.

Brief Backstory: Jamie grew up in a big family, where everyone had to have one hobby. Each and every one of his six siblings chose a sport, aside from his little sister, who picked painting. But from the second he was able to talk, he was singing. Albeit not very well at first, but he had a natural talent once he had control over his voice. He would've applied for Starstruck the year he turned 18, but he'd had a bad injury just before, and couldn't.

Brief Backstory: Chrissy was the kind of girl in school that everyone knew, even if they didn't like her. She joined choir as an attempt by her parents to try and make friends, which didn't work very well. However, it did introduce her to her passion, singing. She was quite good, and surprised everyone by signing up every following year, getting after school lessons, even winning the school talent show, which helped her popularity a little. After she graduated, she spent a few years preparing for Starstruck before applying, wanting the money and the record deal to start a band and make a career in music.

Personality: Very sweet to those who have earned her friendship, which isn't that difficult. Anyone who is kind to her will get the same in return, she tries hard to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease, especially if they don't seem to be happy where they are. She isn't the typical airheaded blonde, though. She's quite smart, and she can take a hint. If someone makes it clear that she isn't wanted, then she'll back off and won't reapproach the person unless their behavior changes.

Weaknesses: Dancing(Has been described as a dying fish having a seizure), lying, flirting of any kind, whether she's doing it or she's receiving the attention.

Brief Backstory: Amara was born to a typical white collar family, where she had anything she ever wanted. Her parents were always more focused on working and arguing than they were on her or her twin brother. It was because of this that she made a YouTube channel when she was just twelve, where she sang covers of songs by herself and with her guitar. She got a pretty decent amount of views, since she was talented, but nothing too extreme. However, it sparked her love for music and singing, so she started a new channel when she was 18, Amara Music, where she made a living off of making unique covers of popular and little known songs with popular and little known singers and musicians.

Personality: Jaime is most easily described as a dick. A dick with talent, but a dick nonetheless. He's cocky, arrogant, and thinks he's probably the best person at anything ever. At least, out loud. He obviously knows that people are going to be better than him at certain things, but until it's proven, he won't admit it. He isn't the asshole with the 'gentle side' that gets uncovered the second a decent girl shows interest in him like in the movies, he's pretty terrible through and through. He won't change for anyone, and he's okay with that. He has an addictive personality, which includes alcohol, pot, ecstasy, and a couple pills, mostly to help him sleep or just because he prefers being high.
Strengths: Singing, writing songs, clean and harsh vocals.
Weaknesses: Constructive criticism, he's narcissistic and very shallow. He also does a couple drugs for the sole purpose of doing drugs, which could be considered as a big weakness.
Good Qualities: Talented, ambitious, natural leader.
Bad Qualities: Egotistical, a player, dark sense of humor.
Brief Backstory: Jaime started playing the drums when he was 12, not very well, but he played. It also wasn't on actual drums, but pots in his kitchen, since his family most certainly didn't have the money for things like instruments. He got into singing when he was about 14, not for any specific reason. His life didn't magically change overnight because he realized he was a decent singer, though he did dedicate more time to it. Really, all it did was make him realize that he didn't have to badly play drums for his entire life, since music was his passion. Over the next nine years, he focused on his singing more than anything else, getting as good as he possibly could be. Then again, if anyone asks him, he'd say he's the best one around.

Personality: Oliver is generally a giver. Being extremely people-oriented, he thrives in spending time with friends and meeting people who recognize him from the internet when he posts a cover. However, he is somewhat of an introvert which causes wars in his mind. While he loves people and offering help when others need it, he does tend to shy away from new people in new situations, preferring to focus on those he already knows and what he's currently working on, often forgetting to take care of himself.

Backstory: Raised by a single mother after his deadbeat dad up and left the two of them, Oliver struggled to connect with others growing up, seeing as they all had somewhat similar stereotypical families of both a mother and a father. He never did and because of that found it awkward to connect despite his desire too, due to others questioning him as to why he never had a dad. After meeting his best friend, he slowly got over his extreme introvert tendencies and gained a fatherly figure in his friends dad who often helped watch Oliver when his mother Marissa had to work late. Oliver's best friend James was the one who got him into singing after signing the two up for a talent show where they ended up making a fool of themselves, which led to today where James helps Oliver make his covers to post on the internet and apply for Starstruck.

Brief Backstory:
An unwanted result of a drunken one night stand to underage parents who neither had the means or interest to raise the child. She never knew her father and her mother wanted little to do with her living it to the maternal grandparents to raise Stephanie. Stephanie's grandparents were loving and kind and from her grandfather she got her love of music especially Jazz and soul and encouraged her singing. However her grandparents were already at an advanced age and sickly, she was barely in her teens when her grandfather passed away followed not long after by her grandmother. An attempt was made to have Stephanie live with her Mother but the latter rejected than harshly deeply affecting the young girl.

She want into foster care and passed from family to family, earning a reputation as a troubled child. She had good and bad careers and few of them tried to help her music and her condition, finding little success in the latter. The constant moving lifestyle meant she had few friends and those she had were often driven away by her paranoia. She was a capable student at school but had little interest beyond her music enjoying nothing more than to perform. When she graduated high school, she tried to make a career in music getting by as best she could by performing in clubs and concerts, and odd jobs but found little success.

Personality:​

Link isn't necessarily the silent type but is still rather relaxed/laid-back/chill af. He wields a very sarcastic attitude, giving the impression of holding most people in disdain and is often thought of as overconfident. Despite this, Link is really easy to talk to, and as stated earlier is an easy-going fellow.

Aside from this, Lincoln is very loyal and trustworthy, and has kept multiple secrets for friends over his years. He puts his friends and family above everything else, even if he doesn't show it. Link goes to great lengths to assure their safety and well-being, even if it means doing something cruel to another person or hurting himself (not just physically) in the process, loyalty and integrity are just so important and as you may think, he wants the same in return. He is very sensitive whenever a a strong connection has been broken, if it's his fault he tries to fix it though if it's the other, he often lashes out.

In spite of this, Link is a huge romantic and hopes to see himself with a spouse in the future. This also carries over to what he watches such as Teen Drama and so on.

Brief Backstory:
Lincoln was born in Atlanta, Georgia to parents, Markelle Fox and Tasha Winchester. His father, Markelle was only nineteen when he was born, with Tasha being eighteen. Markelle and Tasha were both aspiring rappers who'd med at a fair and stuck together ever since, with Tasha singing with a Tinashe-esque voice and Markelle, a Chris Brown type of singer. Markelle and Tasha had decided to raise Lincoln together as well as get married by the time they struck the age of twenty-four which fortunately for Link, they did.

Most of Link's early childhood consisted of listening to music no matter where he was, whether it was the fire bars of his father or the beautiful voice of his mother, his life was ever pumping. Link even had the chance to meet various rap superstars through his parents. It was in early middle school that Link finally persuaded himself to take on the art his parents so strongly wanted to pass down to him. In spite of his mother's suggestions, he chose not to learn how to play any instruments (but still knows the basics via school curriculum, minor learning with keyboards) and instead focused on vocals and producing.

At the age of fourteen, Link was finally allowed to enter his dad's recording studio where he could further hone his skills. Like most of the other contestants, when Link had enough courage in his work, he started a YouTube account and began to post videos of him rapping, most often covers or remixes of his father's old songs, the old man truly was an inspiration. There, on YouTube is where Link got acknowledged for his work. When Starstruck came to town though, he was definitely in love and saw this as a chance to get signed to a label.

Whilst Floyd doesn't go out of his way to be rude, he is first and foremorst an extremely opinionated man who won't mince words or sacrifice his ability to speak for somebody's sensitivies. He loves pulling life by the reins to his whims and taking control of scenarios to give them a shot of flavour. As he says, "There's no better time than now."

He oozes an aura of a creative gentleman who'll wait for you to get ready and pay the bill without any qualms. This attitude lends to him being very down to earth and popular with most people, and as he enjoys the sensation of being adored he'll often go out of his way to win you over, be it some kind words or birthday shots.

His persona has been cultivated by many movie heros, from James Bond to Indiana Jones, and he prides himself on putting on a good face. But sometimes his stage act will shut down before you as you find he's more than just a flirty charmer. He's not an awful person underneath his cultivated character, neither is he a broken individual. He just enjoys hamming it up for the camera and finds fun in showing a character to the world. If you ignore him (exposing his truthfully short patience levels) and treat him poorly he simply no longer finds any reason to present you with his suave act. He'll be brutally honest with how he feels about you, showing his talent for being a manipulator who secretly enjoys stirring up drama if things get too dry. He can be very defensive, and a bit of a sore loser who doesn't go down quietly because he is driven by his unbridled passion for what he does.

Telling Florence that he's second best doesn't fly well with him, even if he gives you a smile and shakes your hand anyways. This touch of narcissism for how he is viewed by the rest of the world ends up being one of his most powerful motivators.

Backstory​

Josiah Everett Foster was born to a middle-class family of twelve. His parents, James and Olivia Stetson married fresh out of high school at eighteen and had their first child a year later. In the following years they had nine more children, four of which were pairs of twins. Josiah was their fifth child. He has three older sisters, one older brother, two younger sisters, and two younger brothers. Growing up in such a large family made him very friendly, very gentlemanly, and very extroverted.

His love of music first appeared when he was four years old, and blossomed as he grew. Throughout his entire life up to now, he would spend countless hours writing and singing and playing guitar. His life revolved around his music and he poured his entire being into every song he ever wrote. It was by his family’s urging that he finally applied for Starstruck.

Personality: Blanca is an eccentric and very expressive personality. She is a lively person and she can be quite dramatic in a theatrical way, being able to change her facial expressions quickly and being passionate and dancing while singing or performing on stage. She is an honest person and she tends to have complex thoughts, emotions, and ideas that she can't really explain. One of these complex emtions are what Blanca describes as her "gut feelings". These "gut feelings" make her very pessimistic and doubtful at times, even though she usually doesn't share these felings openly. Background: Born in Miami, Florida, Blanca was the oldest child of the Travieso couple. Felipa and Hernando Travieso were Dominican immigrants. Felipa was a dental hygenist while Hernando was an architect. Blanca showed musical gift at a young age when she first played her father's old acoustic guitar, taking it up and she nervously asked her parents to place her in guitar lessons, which they did. She started writing musical notation for her guitar and she took singing lessons as well. Blanca began writing songs at the age of 10, though they were short songs about her life and what happened that day. Her two twin brothers, Jaime and Ricardo, were born when she was 11 and she cared for them dearly.

Blanca's teen years were some of the most difficult. Her parent divorced after her mother was found to have been in an affair behind her father's back. She was bullied in school for her unconventional appearance which made her very emotional and depressed. She became anxious and she gave into peer pressure. She started smoking cigarettes which she got addicted to and became dissociative to help cope with the harsh reality. When she was 17, she started getting back on the right track, dumping her "friends" and going to therapy to help with her anxiety, which helped her a lot. Blanca stopped playing the guitar and focused on songwriting, using ideas that she created when she was at her low point to create a concept. While her father wanted her to go to college and become a doctor or a lawyer, she wanted to sing and she knew it. She looked into the Starstruck competition and took a year to prepare for it, writing as much as she could, though not rushing, and re-familiarizing herself with the guitar, buying herself a used Les Paul Classic, and applying the next year.
