The Star Gate
Hello,
welcome to StarGate Beyond. I'd like to thank you for clicking and checking this out. Maybe you're very familiar with the show StarGate SG-1 or one of the other StarGate shows. If you haven't seen the show, I strongly suggest that you go watch them. Not that it's needed for you to be able to join this role play, but it's a great show and well worth watching. Now if you have no clue what StarGate is please watch the video above. This role play will be loosely based on the show.
The Story
A great ring found among the sand of ancient Egypt back in 1929. Brought back to America thought to be a weapon to help fight their enemies. Sadly it wasn't the weapon they hoped it would be. So it sat within the mountain of a Air Force base collecting dust. For many years they sought to turn it on, but sadly no one had. Until one day, a young Archeologist unlocked the secret of turning it on. 39 symbols lined an inner ring of the gate. These symbols are star constellations. This great ring wasn't a weapon, but a doorway to the stars. The StarGate was once again alive, ready to connect mankind back to the universe. Many dangers lay beyond the gate, and many wonders as well. What awaits the teams on the other side of the Gate? Why don't we find out. A team has been gathered to be sent threw The StarGate to find out what is on the other side. Now is the time for adventure and discovery.
