Star Wars, Open Universe -

This roleplay is exactly what it sounds like: open. Although we'll start with the fully-fledged, current universe (year 34-ABY), just between The Force Awakens and the upcoming The Last Jedi movies, we'll slowly add our own spin on it with original characters, factions and such. We won't touch any canon characters or events, but the current main factions and political status of the galaxy will be mentioned and interacted with. For more information, please refer to the other threads. Thank you~

Rucirler
Location : Coruscant's Underground
Interactions : open for interaction

Rucy flicked blood and saliva off her gloves, as she walked down the narrow alley between two low-end homes in Coruscant's underground. Behind her lay a politician, slumped over the curb in a puddle of sewer water and blood. Many onlookers gasped and reached out, but none touched him. They wouldn't aid him until Rucy had gone. Call it common courtesy, or call it fear- either way, the man's life was fading quick. The poor man had been the campaign manager for many former senate members, but over the last five minutes it had been made very clear to him that his career was over indefinitely; the alternative being death.

As soon as Rucy turned the corner, the bystanders rushed to the man's aid. He would undoubtedly be saved, which was good news for Rucille. Her client was a family on Coruscant that rivalled the Hutt family in the arms business, and this campaign manager sought to send a cut of all arms profits on Coruscant to the Hutt family, albeit behind closed doors. It would've been an amazing deal for the Hutt family, but it wasn't the first time Rucille took away one of their business opportunities on Coruscant. She was a big issue for them, and the majority of the price on her head was placed by them.

Rucille walked casually down the street until she came to a small bar. She was a regular there. The bartender was Chiss, like her, and they got along well. She showed the bouncer her identification, before entering and taking a seat at the bar. The bar itself was one room, with the bar area being at the back, an area for dancing directly to the right, and an area for booths directly to the left. Overall, it was a small space. Discreet, low on security and hardly law-abiding in terms of alcohol. It was perfect for her.

She rested her elbows on the surface of the bar, asked the bartender for her usual and waited for the drink to be mixed.

Quirn was a patient Trandoshan, it must be said. He had been waiting in an alcove overlooking an almost empty understreet below the countless tall buildings that covered Nar Shadaa, motionless with his rifle pointed down at the civilians below, all of whom had no idea he was there. His prey hadn't arrived just yet.

"Hunter." Quirn nearly jumped when his holocommunicator crackled to life, projecting a small blue image of a well-dressed Zabrak. "We have another bounty for you."
"I am still preoccupied with the last job you gave me." The Trandoshan answered in his rasping, hissing voice. "And here they are..."
"Finish it quickly. Those minor things aren't worth much time."
"As you say."

The sights of Quirn's rifle moved and settled on one of the trio of newcomers, a Rodian with deep blue skin and brown clothes. Beside him walked a human and...something else, an alien Rigil didn't recognise. That didn't matter.

The Rodian dropped fast when Quirn fired his first shot. The other two froze in shock or fear, so the strange alien soon followed his friend, a scorched hole in his chest. The human tried to run, but didn't make it far. Rigil disabled him with a lazer to the right leg, then the back of the neck. He turned back to the holocommunicator and the waiting Zabrak.
"What's the job?"
"My employer, the magnificient Jagrez, has received reports of trouble affecting business. It is imperative that any complications are sorted out." The Hutt representative explained casually. There were other, more important things that needed his attention. "Jagrez will pay ten thousand credits once his family's business is restored."
"This business must be important, eh? To pay ten thousand, you must really be having trouble. Where are these complications?"
"Coruscant. A ticket for transport has already been purchased for you. Will you take the job?"
"Yeah, sure." Quirn grinned sadistically. "Always wanted to see Coruscant."

Rucy walked out of the small bar through the back door, with her drink in her hand. The drink was only half gone, and she was already starting to slur her words. She didn't have the time to sit around drinking for hours just to get drunk, so she had the bartender mix one drink that'd get her drunk enough to forget she'd ever even drank. That way she wouldn't waste time, but would still get drunk. It was the end of the day for her, so it didn't really matter how drunk she got. She'd be passed out on her couch within the hour anyways.

Despite her spending most of her time in Coruscant's underworld, Rucy made enough powerful friends above ground to get a sizable apartment in one of the skyscrapers on the surface. So, that's where she was headed. She had a cabbie take her up through various ventilation holes, which doubled as transportation portals, until they got above ground. Having paid the pilot of the cabbie, she began the half-hour long walk to her apartment.

She was much nicer above ground than she was below- a survival tactic, mainly. She knew to avoid guards and police; she was a wanted woman in the New Republic, and especially on Coruscant. She was effectively walking through enemy territory whenever she went above ground.

She was no less than three blocks from her apartment when she got spotted by a patrolman from behind. She was still wearing the clothes she wore when she worked, which made her easy to spot. After hearing the man yell for her to stop, she obliged. If she ran, she could easily be tracked to her apartment. That was unacceptable.

Instead, she waited for him to approach. With a small crowd gathering around to watch her arrest, she slipped her foot back and used it to trip him backwards. Backup would already be on the way, so she knew she had to move quickly. She whipped around, grabbed his arm before he hit the ground and pulled him back up, only for her to plant her fist in his face. She let him fall, watched his nose begin to bleed and then made her escape into an apartment building. Rucy went a floor up, then went to the other side of the building and climbed onto the fire escape. This wouldn't be the first time she had to use other buildings to get home.

The police would be just beginning to search the apartment complex by the time she reached the roof.

Bait
Location: Coruscant

Bait held on to the wall in his dark space as the ground beneath him shook. He was in a cargo container onboard a frigate currently landing on Coruscant. He chose this method of transportation in order to ensure his arrival went unnoticed to the untrained eye. In his three-fingered hand he held a datapad with his orders displayed on the screen.

It read:
Orders: Mission type. Tracking number 5 1 8 2 6 6 5.
Directive: Acquire transportation to New Republic controlled planet, Coruscant. Contact Coruscant underworld police chief, Neebo Hazeb. Proceed as ordered. Report when able.
Summary: Prevent Subversion by agents of the First Order.

Bait felt the ship touch down and the cargo bay doors begin opening. He let the datapad drop to the ground. It didn't need to be destroyed. These were fake orders and if they were found by hostile agents it would only aid him. His true mission lied within his memory banks. He exited the container and walked past several workers who yelled at him.
"What are you doing here?"
"This is a restricted area!'
"Dumb droid."

Bait ignored them and proceeded to the nearest speeder rental lot to acquire transportation. He intended to take a ride through the Underworld. He hadn't been to this planet in a long time. All his old contacts were gone now. It was time to make new ones. He decided on an old bar he and Ergu used to visit. If he could find potential informants it would be there. He decided on an older model yellow speeder with an open cockpit. It would prove ideal if he needed a quick getaway. He stowed his blaster in the driver-side door. His sword remained sheathed on his back, wrapped in cloth to disguise it. Now prepared, he set off for the planets crime-ridden Underworld.

Anthos was walking home from his recent negotiation meeting when he noticed a crowd forming. He decided to see what was happening in case he needed to intervene. When he finally got there and through the crowd, he found an officer on the ground bleeding and someone fleeing from the scene. He had to act quickly so the perpetrator didn't get away. He quickly released some of his pheromones to calm the crowd and then gave chase.

The perp was fast and seemed to have done this a lot, but he was able to keep up with her. He tried to stay as far back as he could so she wouldn't know he was following. He even released more of his pheromones around him to make her feel indifferent to him if she did notice.

He hoped this wouldn't end in a fight if she was able to resist his "negotiation" tactics. Though he was prepared to take her down if needed. If a fight did start she would have the advantage of height but only if she had a gun. He could take her down with his Bo-Rifle from this distance with only minor difficulty.

He didn't plan for this day to go this way. He really just wanted to go home and relax. His meeting was rather long and tiring. Though he couldn't let this perp get away because his boss wouldn't like that. He just hoped he could finish this quickly.

Footsteps. Echoing her steps, only a couple seconds behind. At first she thought them to be actual echoes, but once she reached the roof and stopped running, they didn't stop. A normal patrolman or guard wouldn't have followed her. No, this was someone else. She turned from the fire escape and continued running like normal, but stopped and turned when she reached the center of the roof. Unsheathing her dual Vibroblades, she got into a defensive position and began focusing on her limited connection to the force. Though her alcoholic state would hinder her thought process if a fight broke out, she still had her muscle-memory, and an escape route directly behind her. One leap, and she could make it to the next rooftop with limited effort. That was her original plan anyways, but she couldn't let herself be followed. That meant she would be dealing with this threat first.

Anthos continued his chase onto the roof. The perp was waiting for him when he got there. She looked like she was ready to fight so he got out his Bo-Rifle. Though before he would use it he first wanted to try negotiating. He let out a pheromone that he always used in his negotiations. It would make her more agreeable and less aggressive if it took effect. If she had a good connection to the force it was possible for her to resist it. He just hoped she was just some low-class criminal and not someone really dangerous.

"Hey, I don't want to hurt you. Just put down the weapons and we can talk about this", he said to her sounding as calm as he could," This doesn't have to end in a fight or one of us dead."

Rucy scoffed, "If that's how you feel, then turn your ass around and go back." She released some of the tension in her muscles, relaxing her position. She was ready to get back into a defensive position at a moment's notice, though. "Far as I can tell, neither of us have ranged weapons on us. Putting them down is unnecessary." She tensed up again, "So, are we going to do this, flower boy? Because, unless you're going to back off, it seems like that's the only option we've got."

The best part of Coruscant so far? Quirn had to admit, the lawless districts were fun, always someone looking for a fight. And the cantinas, oh the cantinas...just...incredible. Bad service, hostile looks, thugs just itching to put a hand around someone else's throat.
The drinks weren't bad either, as the Trandoshan found, nothing special but not bad.
"About time." Someone grumbled, sliding in to sit beside Quirn at the bar. The bounty hunter turned slowly, looking the newcomer up and down. A Nikto, shorter than what was usual, wearing some cheap formal wear, a blaster pistol at his hip. The Trandoshan turned back to his drink, unimpressed.
"You're the hunter, right?"

Rigil decided not to answer, which quite obviously annoyed the stranger.

"Hey, c'mon, talk." The Nikto clicked his finger in front of Quirn's eyes. The Trandoshan acted fast, his right clawed hand closed around the Nikto's wrist tightly, enough to make the alien cry out in pain.

"Listen, idiot, I just want information, not some fool thinking he's all high and mighty just because a Hutt sent him to talk business. Tell me what I need to know, then leave." The Trandoshan hissed menacingly, his oter hand reaching for his vibroknife at his waist.

"A-a-alright." The Nikto was close to sobbing. Quirn lessened his grip, but didn't let go. "A Chiss woman, she's been killing our business. Kill or capture, it's your choice. She's been seen using rooftops, and she's just killed recently. My employers think you can track her?"
"I'm Trandoshan, I can hunt anyone." Quirn let go of the Nikto, but leaned in close with his teeth bared. "I'm going to leave, and your going to pay for my very expensive drink."
"But-"
"Or I kill you and use your money to pay for it anyway." When the Nikto didn't answer, too scared to do much anything, Quirn nodded to himself and stood up. He gave the Cartel representative a last fanged grin, before walking away and out of the cantina. He didn't need the Nikto to tell him where the place of attack was, he could already smell the blood.

It seemed his pheromones had little to no effect on her. This did worry him slightly but he decided to keep producing them. If she lost focus in a battle it's possible they could slow her attacks. He was also slightly confused when she said neither of them had a ranged weapon. Clearly, she had never seen a Bo-Rifle before. Though in a fight it was better with Melee. He decided to keep it in its Bo staff form and if she decided to run he could surprise her with its Rifle form.

"If that's how you want it then fine. At least I gave you a warning", He told her as he moved toward her. When he got closer he started to move as if he was dancing. To her, it probably seemed like he was but he was actually doing a defensive maneuver of his Sholân Kha. He wanted her to attack first because it would give him an advantage.

Rucy gave the man a confused look when he began moving his body in an odd manner. Shaking her head and convincing herself it was nothing weird, she advanced. She advanced with short steps and a defensive position, with both daggers raised. They met near the center of the roof, just a few feet apart, when she made her first move. She slid a foot forward quickly, and raised her daggers as if she were about to do a stab-and-slash attack, but contorted her body weirdly instead of striking. Her false attacking stance was a ploy. Instead of attacking with her daggers, she spun around on her planted foot and raised the other. Again, in an attempt to throw him off, she didn't kick him. Instead, she hooked her foot on his staff and yanked it down until her foot hit the ground. She was entirely open, and expected retaliation, but didn't mind taking a hit or two so long as his weapon was out of the way. She jumped her other foot up, and swung it around to hit his face. If she missed, she would completely lose her balance.

Anthos was rather impressed by her attack. Though he really didn't care about losing his weapon because his body was a weapon of its own. So as the woman brought her foot up aiming towards his face he easy dodged it by grabbing her leg and flipping over her. While in the air he took the opportunity of her leaving herself open and made three precise strikes to her side targeting certain points. After making his strikes he landed on the opposite side of her and continued his dance. If he hit the points perfectly he could easily break her ribs. Though if she was able to move than at most they would cause her muscles to tense. Either way, it would help him in the fight.

"You shouldn't assume an opponent needs a weapon to fight. I can kill you with my hands if I wanted too", Anthos teased her hoping to rile her up. It could cause her to make rash moves that he could take advantage of.

Xebaehl, having spent the day casing the former Imperial palace had become desperate of a way to get inside and discover the secrets it held within it's stone maws, just on the way back to a residential district where she would "borrow" someone's residence for the night, she saw a scuffle, mainly a man, seemingly an officer fall then immediately give chase. Xebaehl strained to see whom he was chasing after, and barely could she make a figure out running, but even more curiously is the figure seemed to be steeped in Bogan, more than just any killer or criminal. Intrigued she followed silently, not through the building but up it's side, if it were not for the levels of Bogan coming off of the figure she would have lost the chase, it was like watching a dot move across a plane of light, it was incredibly difficult and took a lot of energy, so much so that she strained to make her way up the side of the building. They were mid combat by the time she made it just below the roof, she just stayed under the ledge, unseen, unheard and watched the fight unravel before her. It was mostly to see how her possible opponent was in a fight, and to make sure she did not lose track of her. But Xebaehl was running into a problem, that was this was draining her minimal amount of energy was starting to drain fast because of this hyper focus on force sight, soon she'd need to get clear vision of them in order to conserve her energy.

Rucirler was caught absolutely off-guard by the flowered man's counter. The shocked and pained expression on her face shortly after she landed made that very clear. She managed to land upright, for the most part, with two feet and a hand supporting her. Her free hand was clutching the lower part of her ribcage. She winced, before growling a little and shooting a deadly glare towards the man that caused her pain. "Cheap shot, flower boy. Cheap fucking shot." It was a pretty fair shot, but she was pissed nonetheless.

Ignoring the burning sensation in her ribcage, she lunged forward again full-force. Again, she planted a foot on the ground and swung her body with the resulting momentum. Only this time, she didn't use her foot. Hell, she didn't even touch him. Two short bursts of force lightning erupted from her hands and shot towards his neck and his stomach. Once the initial attack was launched, she planted a foot on his chest and pushed off. Her landing, once again, was sloppy, only this time it was due to her new injury.

She wouldn't stop there, either. She wouldn't stop until this fool was paste on the ground below.

She dashed forwards again, flinging a Vibroblade dagger towards his stomach to get him moving, and out of his silly dance routine. She'd have to find it on the ground later if it missed it's target. She slid once she got close to him, and aimed to stab him in the thigh with her other dagger.

Veyti
Coruscant Lower Skylane, Guard Speeder
Coruscant Guards

Sitting in the back seat of the speeder as it sailed along the near empty skylane of the lower Coruscant levels, Veyti continued listening to the two discuss their mutual acquaintance, one of the guards brothers who had joined the First Order. It wasn't widely known knowledge, but when her old sparring partner had found out that her mission was going to lead her here, he made sure to connect her to his guard brother. It was certainly a nice thing to do, especially considering how often she beat the poor soldier in their CQC drills.

Regardless, the two guards were certainly of the friendly sort, and like her only seemed to be in the service to repay aid that the systems had afforded them.

"If you don't mind me interjecting, but about how close might we be," she asked, "I've just been stuck inside craft for a while now, and can't wait to stretch my feet."

The guard driving, Li'ido, chuckled. He could imagine what the young woman was talking about. He had traveled before and knew how cooped up one could get when always being stuck in a ship or craft, "Shouldn't be too far now. We're close, isn't that right Besh?"

The other guard nodded before speaking up, "Li'ido's right. We're close. Hey, if you don't mind me asking, my brother said you needed a ride down here and some help once on planet, but do you mind me asking what you're really doing here? Li'ido's a family friend since we were kids so we both know my brother's joined the First Order. Stands to reason you know him from there. You guys aren't planning any problems here on Coruscant I hope."

"Nothing of the sort Besh. I'm tracking down someone I used to know. He did something... stupid... He got a lot of good people killed because he decided he was better than some others. He got people I knew killed. A lot of them had families. I'm trying to make sure he sees justice for his crimes, nothing more. As a service member myself, I promise I'm going to cause as little trouble as possible."

It wasn't the whole truth, obviously, but it wasn't a lie either. She wanted this mission to be short and simple. She knew it wouldn't be short, but she could at least hope for the latter. As the speeder continued on it's path Besh suddenly cursed, and as she listened to the quick conversation the two guards had, she looked down to her left as Besh told Li'ido to and noticed two people fighting on a roof below.

Li'ido started to pick up his intercom to call the incident in when Veyti reached forward and put her hand over the device, stopping him from making the call as the man looked at her in obvious confusion. Instead of giving an answer right away the Arkanian held up her other hand, asking him to wait as Besh detoured and began to circle at distance. After observing the two for a moment Veyti spoke up.

"Safe to assume that they're seedy underworld types? I need information I can't get from reputable sources. One of them might be my ticket in. Besh, is that alright with you?"

The man looked conflicted for a moment, but ultimately told Veyti that so long as she was able to diffuse the situation he didn't mind. He did note that they'd be watching though. Thanking Besh, she noted an adjacent rooftop to drop her on as she already began rummaging through her bag. Rummage being the operative word of course, her hands quickly finding and assembling her rifle as the craft descended towards the adjacent rooftop. It didn't even touch down before Veyti had disembarked, falling about ten feet before landing with a deft roll.

Coming out of the roll in a kneeling position, the raised her rifle to her shoulder and watched the scene play out through the scope of her rifle. She wasn't quite sure what had started the fight, but an errant glance up as she watched the guard speeder return to it's overwatch position told her that it would need to be finished soon.

Weighing her options as the male leapt over the female Veyti wished she could just be over there, but her armour was still packed neatly inside of her bag, which did little other than mean her back was protected but that was about it. She was also almost caught off guard when the female had electricity dart out of her hands and light up the other before she threw a knife at him.

This was escalating too much, and it was only a matter of time before even civilians in the skylanes were going to notice. That would mean both her ticket lost and possibly Besh and Li'ido getting in trouble. Watching as the female threw one knife, Veyti instead focused in the second that the girl drew out as she moved in on the male. Taking careful aim, she loosed two shots.

One was going to fly past the face of the male, making sure he knew that she was watching him even if the girl seemed the aggressor.

The second shot barreled forth before burying itself in the building right in front of where the girl was sliding two, blasting a divot into the roof before her and scorching the area around the divot.

Hopefully the warning shots would be enough to get them to stop before more trouble was caused, and with that hope Veyti began readying the ascension cable launcher to form an impromptu zipline to the rooftop the pair were on.

She'd know if they'd stopped fighting soon enough.

Anthos was shocked as the woman let out two bolts of lightning towards him and because of this, he was unable to dodge. Luckily because his body is planet based he was able to absorb the energy with little damage to him but it did make the water in his system diminish. If this fight lasted too much longer or he was hit by another shot like that he doubted he would survive.

Her pushing off of his chest also put him off balance but he was able to recover before the woman through the dagger. He acted quickly grabbing it out of the air and was about to through it back at her as she slid on the ground. Though before he could do so a shot went passed his face. As he was distracted by this the woman was able to stab him in the thigh. He tried not to focus on the pain as he put her own dagger to her neck. If she made any sudden movements he wouldn't hesitate to slit her throat.

Rucy saw the bullet whiz past the face of the colorful man first. That did good to widen her eyes and hasten her movement. She didn't hasten enough, though, as a bullet narrowly missed her leading foot. This caused her foot to tilt and catch the roof, making her stumble forwards. Her dagger hit higher than its intended position, but still sunk in all the same. She gasped when she felt the cold metal of her own dagger press against her throat.

"We're even. Cut your losses and go, before we both get killed." She hissed through her teeth. She could easily use a weak force movement to pull the dagger away from her throat, but she would be in a bad place nonetheless. With her impaired mental ability, it was unlikely that it would go as planned anyways. She needed him to comply. She needed her dagger back. She needed him to be her eyes, because she was too scared to turn her head. Snipers are nothing to sneeze at, after all. She could do her job fine with a broken rib, but she couldn't with a bullet in her side.

Or even worse, her head..

Bait slowed the speeder as he cruised through the under city. He could already see the Underworld Security Force patrolling in numbers. This indicated that something had happened, or was happening. Bait dismissed it as gang violence. As the skyway took him higher over the tops of buildings he could see for quite a long distance. From his height he had a quite a view of the bright under city. Its lights made observation of specific objects difficult. But even in the busy and chaotic landscape, blaster fire stood out like a sore thumb. Bait witnessed two shots be fired from a rooftop nearby. He couldn't see what they were shooting at. This warranted investigation. He cut the main repulsor and brought the speeder out of the skyway and glided onto a rooftop 3 buildings over. He quickly dismounted and ran to the edge of the roof. He had a good view of the target from here, but the shooter was obscured by traffic.

He wished he had some macrobinoculars to make this easier, but his bare optical sensors would have to do. He zoomed in as much as he could. There appeared to be two suspects that a third was shooting at. They were facing 90 degrees perpendicular to him. One appeared to be a male of a species he didn't recognize, holding a knife to the throat of a chiss female. He couldn't get good eyes on the shooter. From this distance he couldn't engage, and if he activated his cloak, he couldn't sneak up on them without being noticed. He cursed and checked to make sure that what he was seeing was being properly recorded and stowed in his databanks for later review. This wasn't your average hold up.

Anthos knew he had to get out of there quick with his water supply being low and his loss of sap from his new injury. Plus, with the possibility of a sniper shooting at them, she wasn't his main threat at the moment.

He looked where the shots came from and quickly picked up someone on a nearby roof. "Looks like our sniper is preparing a zip line. They should be here soon", he replied as he motioned the direction with his eyes," You'll be needing this." He pulled the dagger away from her throat and tossed it next to her. After that, he made a quick role for his Bo-Rifle and bolted for the fire escape. He opened his wound a little more by doing this but his main priority was escaping at the moment.

Veyti
Coruscant Rooftops
Two unknown individuals

Setting her ascension cable appropriately, and anchor current rooftop, Veyti took careful aim and launched the spear head of the cable into the lower rooftop the combatants were on. Once sure it had anchored properly she used her rifle as a handle to zipline across to the rooftop. As soon as she was close enough she dropped to the roof, likely about thirty feet off from the pair fighting. Rolling with the landing, she came to a stop with her rifle ready and shouldered, but not yet trained on either individual.

"Glad we've come to a stop friends," she grinned, taking in the scene.

From what she could gather, one of them was clearly force sensitive, the female that was. Blue skin, likely a Chiss as well. The other was green with different flowers through his hair. She wasn't sure on his race. Both clearly had combat experience, and she wasn't planning on taking either for granted in the slightest. Mentally cataloging a handful of things, her revolver at her right side, under her armpit loaded and primed, her knife at the back of her belt under her vest. Her 15 Alpha had twenty-three shots left before she needed a new charge cartridge. One hundred forty-eight shots before she had to replace the gas in it as well.

So much information, but all of it filled the excess spots of her mind and allowed focus to the most prominent parts of her mind, especially as the green man started running for the fire escape. Raising her rifle, Veyti put another round out before the green man's feet. Twenty-two, one hundred forty-seven.

"If I wanted either one of you dead, well, you wouldn't have to worry about your bills tomorrow. I can assure you both of that. I don't want to hurt either one of you, but you both seem to be in the shadier businesses. I need to find a good source of shadier information." she explained directly before scanning the area and flashing an 'okay' sign up towards Besh, "Coruscant guards already know we're here, but I've got them waived off provided I can calm the two of you down. As I said, I'm just looking for information."

Momentary silence save for the thrum of the speeders running by. Wind whipping through the rooftops. Tension that could be cut with a knife and an assurance that almost guaranteed that they had to watched by someone else at this point. She knew how open these roofs were already, seeing as she just utilised that exact feature of the buildings to interrupt the fight.

"So, any takers on my deal. I hear credits can be a big incentive."

Quirn didn't know what to make of the situation unfolding before him. It was truly the strangest thing he had ever seen, save for that rancor-dancing-on-coals debacle. A Chiss woman, most likely his target, facing off against a dancing plant man, just to be interrupted by...something giggly, maybe.
Quirn fancied himself a competitive fellow, and would love the chance to face off against other hunters. But these weren't hunters. These were idiots who thought fighting on rooftops on Coruscant was...an everyday thing. What was going on?

I can't run the risk of getting arrested if I jump into the fray. I need to keep my distance, the Trandoshan thought to himself. If he was captured by security forces, or anyone for that matter, the score of his hunts would be lost. The Scorekeeper would no longer favor him. He had to keep his score intact.
Lying down, with his Outland rifle before him, aiming from a high floor on a skyscraper, Quirn rested his sights on the Chiss woman. This was his target, not any of the others.

All there was for him to do was pull the trigger. She wasn't moving all that much, an easy target. An easy kill. What was staying Quirn's hand? He mulled it over, knowing something wasn't right. There was more to this than a simple bounty...ah, that was foolish talk. Rigil cursed himself from hesitating, aligned his sights on the woman again, and grinned as his clawed finger squeezed the trigger.

Xebaehl watched the fight with awe, well as much as she could perceive, seeing the sith lightning leave the force user's hands she knew immediately that she had to keep the person alive, for she had something to learn from her. She was determined to get some knowledge out of the force user any way she could. The fight began to drag on for a few moments more until a blaster was fired and another figure joined in, whether hostile or not she couldn't tell. But this made her uneasy, the more factors that were placed into this fight the more likely Xebaehl would not have the knowledge she sought. Then she felt it, a sign from the force she had always known, it was like a punch in the stomach mixed with a need to vomit, she had a feeling that this situation was going to lead into a complete unknown uncertainty, a chaos unseen, or perhaps not, time would tell but she needed the force user alive.

Mulling over the situation for only a few moments, she could either risk herself and get the information she needed, or she could wait and possibly loose all trace of it. The allure of Knowledge pulled her, Bogan called to her in this situation, and who was she to resist the call of Bogan? Risking a lot Xebaehl attempted to remain silent, yet jumped over a story around the ledge unto the roof, a fair distance away from the others, but still not in their path, she had hoped no one noticed her, perhaps being mostly covered in robes, save her lower face and arms, would come in handy. More-so she began to hope that the sniper coming in was more of a distraction than she would be. But nothing was a certainty and this was her biggest risk in possibly 200 rotations.

Rucy was thankful for the flower boy’s sense. She scooped me up her dagger and turned to the far edge of the roof. She prepared to take off, and jump to the next roof, but she stopped when she saw the sniper rapidly approaching from that direction. She was oblivious to the woman that hopped up onto the roof behind her. Letting out a frustrated huff, she decided not to follow the flower boy, which was the only other path she was capable of taking with her injury. Worst-case scenario, she ended up in prison for a night and got bailed out in the morning. So, she stayed, like a good girl.

Luckily for her, it was the right choice. She shut her eyes and waited for a scream when she saw the sniper raise her rifle again after landing on the roof and sharing a few words. She winced when she heard the shot, and she even flinched a little.

Rucy listened to the girl explain herself with patience, thankful that she wouldn't be fighting a three-way battle with a broken rib.

"I could take you up on your deal." She crossed her arms, looking the girl over from top to bottom. "I could take you up on your deal. But I won't."

She narrowed her eyes, "I'd have beaten your ass eight ways to Sunday, if Flower Boy hadn't done me in already. Credits are nothing. Unless you have another offer, I'm not interested."

Anthos stopped as the shot hit in front of him. He wanted to us his Bo-Rifle to just take the newcomer out but that was too rash. He instead decided to turn around to speak.

"I have no shady information to give", he responded. Though that wasn't entirely true. He did know a lot of New Republic information and a few things from criminals he "negotiated" the information out of but he wouldn't give that up unless it was a last resort. "And as for the guards, I doubt they would care about me. I have some protection of my own", he added.

Anthos needed to get out of there quickly. He was running low on water and losing sap fast. So he decided to release more pheromones that would cause people to ignore his presence. It was a similar effect that Jedi had to appear somewhat invisible. This newcomer didn't seem to have any connection to the force so they were almost guaranteed to work on her. If they didn't she wouldn't know anyway so there was no reason to not try.
