Name:

Minerva Leigh Overland.

Nicknames:

Minnie.

Age:

Seventeen.

Traits:

Brave x Quiet x Polite x Kind x Compassionate x Distant x Stubborn x Haunted x Intelligent x Artistic x Loyal x Protective x Gracious.

Appearance:

Minnie is a petite young woman, standing at 5'3 and possessing a slim figure. With a small bust and slender hips, she is youthful in appearance, and her big brown eyes do nothing to help the matter. She has peachy skin and an oval face, with rosy cheeks, a button nose and thin pink lips. Her brunette hair hangs down past her waist in gentle waves, though she most often had it tied back to keep it out of her face. Her style mostly consists of plain dresses in bland colors, due to her parents status making obtaining vibrantly colored fabrics difficult, with simple shoes and pretty hair ribbons.

Biography:

Minnie had always led a simple but fairly happy life. She was raised on a small farmhouse on the edge of town by her parents, Mary-BethandMillard, and was the youngest out of eight. Her siblings, arranged from oldest to youngest, were Walter, twenty-four,Irene, twenty-three, Charles, twenty-two, Edwin, twenty, HarrietandDorothy, both nineteen, andPhilip, who was eighteen. Their father wasn't around very often, leaving the farm work to his sons while he spent his time at the pub, but the family was better off that way. The marriage was arranged and Millard, possessing no love for his wife or children and having been prevented from marrying the woman who'd stolen his heart, was bitter and aggressive. Their mother, on the other hand, was very loving, and held each of her children close to her heart. Minnie was very close to all her siblings, and though they bickered occasionally, they generally got along exceptionally well. The majority of their free time was spent together, enjoying the nature that surrounded their town and impressing each other with their talents. Unfortunately, a string of horribly tragic events began in the year of Minnie's seventeenth birthday. It started with Walter. A few years prior, he had moved out to live with his wife, Etta, though he still visited very often. One grey afternoon, he was found dead in his home with a stab wound to the chest. After that, the lives of the Overland family steadily became worse and worse. After him, it was Irene, found drowned in the lake by their house. Then it was Charles, who'd been in a carriage accident. Edwin was trampled by a runaway horse while walking home, Harriet and Dorothy were found frozen to death in the forest, and Philip's death was declared an accident with the fire place. Finally, it was only Millard, Mary-Beth, and Minerva left in the household. With each child that had died, Mary-Beth's heart had broken a little more, hanging onto her sanity by a mere string. Millard built a barn in memory of each child he'd never taken the time to know, their bodies buried inside and the doors tightly sealed. It was a mere two weeks before Minnie's eighteenth birthday, and the family believed their bout of loss may finally be coming to an end sadly, they were wrong. Two days before Minnie turned eighteen, she vanished, and was never seen again. Millard built a barn in her honor, but never sealed it, in the hopes that they'd, at the very least, find her body and be able to give her closure by burying her inside. Unfortunately, they never did, and Millard and Mary-Beth moved about a year after, the latter saying that she couldn't bear to live in the home where her children died. Little did they know that they left not only a lost and lonely spirit in their wake, but a dark and malicious one as well.

Name: Alan Richten

Nicknames: Allie (yes, it does bug him)

Age: Seventeen

Traits: Above-Averagely-Intelligent x Caring x Skeptical x Optimistic x Excitable x Friendly x Innocent x Shy

Appearance: Alan stands a bit tall for his age, just under 6 feet. He has shaggy black hair, just enough to almost give him bangs. He wears square-framed glasses over his brown eyes.

Biography: Alan recently moved to this town, and as such has few friends. The ones he does have borderline forced him to this Victorian party, and he went along with it in order to fit in. At his previous school, he wasn't exactly the most well-liked person, and was often a loner. This wasn't helped by the fact that his parents worked long hours, leading to him becoming a latchkey kid. He hopes to make meaningful new friends in this town.

Extra Information: Hm. Not much else to say, aside from him being a nerd.

Eek, sorry, I didn't get the notification! My one request is that Alan be at least seventeen, so they're the same age physically? c:
