Fantasy Spellreaper Academy

Dante rang the bell from his office to signal that classes were starting.

Fate rushed to her first class and sat down in the back row in the corner like she always did , the teacher in this class basically let them do whatever they wanted in that class so she pulled out a book and started to read.

Ladia came out of the shadow of a tree and looked around. No students were outside so she guessed class already started. She picked up her bag and calmly walked to class. Even though she was only 14, she skipped a grade or two from her excellent grades. When she reached her class door. She opened it and looked at the class. She turned and closed the door right when the bell rang. "Sorry I am late....", she said in her plain voice. The teacher looked up and smiled, "Oh Ladia you were here on time. You weren't late." Ladia nodded and went to the back. She placed her bag under her desk and sat down. She put both hands on her lap and looked at the front of the classroom.

The bell rings again and all the other kids go to their needed classes, Fate stays in the back row , daydreaming about something.

Thana walked to her classroom, a skip in her step and an excited smile on her face. Ooooh, this is gonna be cool! Absently, she pulled out her schedule and checked again where she was supposed to be going. According to the map and schedule it should be close but she wasn't so sure. Scratching her head, she looked up again, and... there it was! Almost giddy with relief, she entered the classroom and took an empty seat. Once, she pulled out her textbook and placed it on the desk, she peered around curiously at the other students.

Click, click, click. The distinct sound of Balenciaga ankle boots resounded through the near-empty hallway. Save for a janitor and a couple of stragglers, everyone was in their respective classes already. Whatever, thought Zoey. It was a nightmare trying to find the perfect hair accessory for her this morning and after she had settled on an elegant, plaid number, it was only ten minutes until she had to get to class on time. It was her third year at this school full of kids with powers, but Zoey knew better than to be buddy-buddy with all of the other younglings. Her old clique of friends had disbanded last year due to everyone except her graduating and moving on to, gasp, college.

Zoey was only going here because Daddy wanted to keep her under the radar. She wasn't an idiot; there's no way he would let her study back home and risk exposing her power to the rest of the undeserving people that lived there. Nonchalantly opening the door to her designated classroom, Zoey didn't even glance at the teacher and breezed past the people in the front row, making a beeline for the back of the room. After all, how was she supposed to check the tabloids about her when the teacher was right up in her face?

Lumina entered the school, looking around. Her amber and gold eyes hid behind blonde hair with bright red streaks. She hated her eyes...nobody else seemed to have eyes like this. She walked around, her arms clutched close to her chest. She just wanted to get to class... she hated new places.

As Thomas Greyguard walked through the school gates, on his first day on the job of a Secure Combats teacher, he wondered what kind of students he will need to be dealing with, and if any of them would be worthy to par with him by the end of the year.

Upon reaching the classroom he was assigned to, he awaited the students, completely unaware that he was running a club, not a class, and nobody had joined this club yet.

Lumina walked into the class she was apparently assigned and sits down in an empty desk in the back of the class. Hopefully she could get through this without making too much of a spectacle of herself. She seemed completely normal and completely...human in appearance, anyways. So she at least has that.

Upon finally realizing what his job ACTUALLY was, Thomas quickly got to work, preparing the room and notices for the club all around the school.

Anyone who wanted to experience combat training was to report to the Combat hall near the back of the academy at lunch break, it was equipped with weaponry, training or otherwise, armour and it's own emergency nursing staff.

Through her peripheral vision, Zoey noticed a girl sit down near her after walking into class late. At least I wasn't the last one to walk in, she thought as she pulled out her phone to check her hair. It was sleek to perfection. Satisfied with her reflection, she browsed her phone for more updates on her father's stocks. If they did well today, she was getting a weekend trip to the Bahamas. She needed it; school stressed her out. Tapping her pen on the desk absentmindedly, she waited for class to start.

Watching the other girl fidget with her uniform, it took all of Zoey's willpower not to scoff. Did her parents or whatever not buy her the right size? "Did you need a tailor?" she asked innocently, raising an eyebrow at the girl. "You look...uncomfortable."

Lumina blinked, not expecting anybody to talk to her.

"Eh...um..." She glanced over at the girl. "I'm fine. It fits fine. I'm just not used to...well, school." Her gaze fell to her hands.

Getting bored waiting for lunch break in his new workplace, Thomas decided to walk around the school a bit, examining the different teachers doing their thing. One particular class caught his attention as he just leaned in against the doorway, watching them go through with their education.

"Figures," she said with a hit of amusement. "I mean, I don't think I've seen you around here before. Welcome to the freakshow." Zoey snorted and glanced at her phone again. The girl was probably going to fit in with the rest of the kids here. They were all so...odd. It was like a museum, really.

Ladia looked out the window and watched as a squirrel place a few nuts in it's den. She looked back at class and started observing her fellow classmates. She noticed two girls talking and blinked. She recognized one girl named, Zoey. She heard about her but it wasn't like she was obsessed with her. Ladia looked back out the window, to the squirrels, and started saying random facts to herself, "If a squirrel senses danger, and its on the ground, it will climb up the closest tree and start running around tree branches. But if it is already in a tree, it will jump down and keep its back against the bark...."

Thomas was trying his best to look casual, standing in the doorframe watching a class learn, but as he looked around the class he decided that there were a few students here that would be perfect to join his club. He also began considering the idea of watching classes more often to learn students names and personalities. Thomas was on the first steps to becoming familiar with the school, but one particular student caught his eye, so he just stared, trying to figure out what caught his eye about this student...

Noticing that the other girl broke eye contact to look at her hands, Zoey rolled her eyes. From somewhere else in the classroom, another one was muttering something about squirrels. All Zoey wanted to do was bang her head against the desk. She couldn't wait to graduate and get out of this hellhole. Why was everyone so weird and different? Zoey wanted her old friends back. Since it was a new term, she had no one to complain to. Just thinking about how she was stuck here made her boiling mad, so naturally, it caused the air around her to cool down significantly.

Lumina tried to ignore thr change in temperature...but it was to no avail. She started feeling weak, just plain awful...father always warned her about avoiding cold things. she placed her head on the desk, feeling lightheaded.

Noticing some of the students seeming a bit down, Thomas prepared to go fetch the nearest nurse if anything got too bad, but no matter how hard he tried, he could not unsee the potential in the one student he had his eyes on...
