Fandom Soul Eater: Next - Gen

The metal wings rearranged with Wei's flick of his finger as Leblanc flew towards the teacher from being pulled. They were all pointed towards Zane's body. Luckily one of them were able to stab the opponent's shoulder

Liam looked at the man, his eyes showing a hint of recognition as his mind assumed it was his partner, "At least I made it.". His voice was annoyed by the dumb comment, but viewing his ample looking partner gave him a little lenience towards the man. At least he was a little more out going and seemed confident, a feature many people who faced him didn't have.

"Yeah, fair point. Oh well, first day, its understandable. Slept in, lost track of time, whatever. Heres the book assignment we were given and you can just copy off of my answers today. Consider a gift of good will." He said as he chuckled and slid his paper over to him. He turned the rest of his body toward the fellow student and extended his hand. "I forgot to properly introduce myself. I'm Francis, Francis Birdwell. Nice to meet you!" He let a big grin spread across his face.

Liam rolled his eyes at the man's pitiful attempt to make jokes, but found himself with a light grin on his face when he was handed the homework. "A gift of good will? You're too generous." Liam let out a sarcastic toned, but it was good willed and showed some of his appreciation. Just as he was beginning to copy the answers a hand entered in his vision, which he immediately grasped heavily in his. Showing off his strength and prowess, he let his hand squeeze down on his and a blank face look up at him. "Liam Manchester."

Francis was a little surprised when Liam started to squeeze his hand harder than needed. Francis decided he would squeeze as well. He started applying more pressure and his grin became even bigger. Francis had quite the body for his age, but hid it under his baggy clothes. His arms in particular were pretty strong since over his travels he met tons of people who played with him and he worked out every now and again. He had to admit though, Liam was pretty tough.

"I think we'll get along great!" He said cheerfully as he began to actually shake his partners hand.

Liam let a scoff escape his lips, feeling as if his dominance was being challenged. Let his arms become fully flexed his hand clamped down for a moment, a warning with which Liam took back his hand. Another scoff and he turned toward the so called fight, watching the teacher run circles around the two that seemed more about flash then fighting. Their design was simply unnecessary, too many offenses to even think about defenses, and the scythe was a straight forward weapon that Liam didn't find the most intimidating.

A tiny scratch nicked him on the shoulder, but Zane is fine. He has had worse from fighting kishins in the past. He continued to avoid all of the other metal wings until he was close enough to do one strong attack of a jab of the chest, hitting the mark.

Tamiko was really glad she had made her blade blunt at this point. She couldn't handle being embedded in her opponent's chest. Hopefully it would only leave a small bruise, maybe...

Francis kept smiling as Liam squeezed on his hand even more, not feeling anything due to the amount of calluses on his hands from over the years. He knew what Liam was trying to do with the handshake. He had met enough people who tried the same kind of stuff over his lifetime and he wasnt going to have any of it. He needed to find a way to get that message across to his partner. But he could worry about that later.

He turned his attention back to the fight that was right in front of him and focused on the teacher. He was studying how he fought, how he reacted to certain attacks, how he countered them and just his fighting style in general. He began to hum his song again as the fight went on.

As soon as he jabbed into the girl's chest, he swung upwards, narrowly avoiding slicing the girls cheek, but instead, slims the blade against her skin. He hops backwards, pulling Tamiko back. He gently patted her blade, "Not a scratch on your blade old partner." He looked back up at the pair, "Nice tricks, it seems you might belong in a circus."

Dante was slowly starting to dose off feeling the Shinigami's gaze on his side ignoring it however along with her remarks. Another flash of bright lights filled the room illuminating his eye-lids so he saw red entirely under them instead of black causing him to get irritated. It was gone soon though and the audible tang of metal on metal was heard he wasn't to keen to watch as he could already perceive the two were all about show, while the teacher was just toying with them. His mind started to wonder off then thinking to how a shinigami would match with his own wavelengths Dante hasn't had a partner for the two years he's been here due to them being highly volatile for his quiet personality. With this he started developing the technique to be able to see others souls so when Death went to pair him with someone he could easily tell them to leave knowing they had absolutely no chance.

His was so volatile and destructive Death told him to be wary, as if he strays down the wrong path he could become the Madness of Destruction, if he should choose a downward path. If not he could become fairly powerful, he was already a autonomous weapon, one that could wield himself exceptionally well not to mention he was able to use soul menace at the age of 12 from years upon years of practice. A prodigy in a sense of combat and intelligence if he should actually put forth any effort. He passes written and physical exams almost effortlessly however he never puts forth any effort to do work, maybe it's his quiet and constantly bored personality? Dante honestly finds no need to do anything unless it's for his own pleasure or if it is for his own life, he's even taken part in supervised fight against a duo who despised him for his attitude, they said he thinks he's to good for anyone else. The entire fight he only evaded their attacks not striking back to them. He grinned thinking of this wriggling his toes in his red socks as he never put shoes on, he never did.

Talon set her head down on her desk, listening to the fight rather than watching it. Somehow her gaze fixed on Dante's feet and she watched as he wiggled his toes. That's when she finally noticed that he wasn't wearing any shoes. Her nose crinkled as she lowered her brows in question. Such class. Much fashion. Wow. She found herself shaking her head. What an...interesting partnership this was going to be. She still wasn't even quite sure how they ended up as a team. In her mind, she remembered it as Lord Death one day going 'Oh hey Talon! You're not doing anything important at the moment so here's a volatile weapon for you to partner with. Enjoy!' You could imagine her expression. But her being her, she went along with it without protest. Sounded like something she could handle according to her own views AND Death's. According to him, Dante's already gone through a couple meisters who couldn't step up to his wavelength. Well petty meisters, get ready to be shown up.

She didn't know what to expect. She wasn't all too sure how a "volatile weapon" would act. One thing's for sure, she wasn't expecting someone so...quiet. Like, she didn't even know what this kid's voice sounded like, because he's only communicated with her through body language and facials. IF that. The closest she got to hearing him talk was the occasional 'Hm' or 'Tch'. And those weren't words, they were sounds. She wasn't one for awkward situations, and the silence made it pretty awkward. She spent most of her time with him teasing and basically talking to herself. Sometimes she swore he wasn't listening and just sitting there plotting to strangle her. THAT would've been pretty funny, she had to admit. ((@Phantom King))

Roxie blinked when the teachers knife flew, cutting off her music. She sighed, and stuffed her mp3 and ear-buds into her pockets, not bothering to stop Milo from taking the knife. She opened the workbook, listening to the the teachers words vaguely. She had layed her head upon the table, drifting into sleep, when the man sent a pencil flying at another kid. She ignored it, for the most part. That is, until another student came in, through the window. At this, a knife was sent at them too. A Meister and weapon pair challenged the teacher, and they began fighting, and more students joined the class.

"Oi, Milo. How long do you think they plan on being idiots?" She asked, pointing to the student pairing, that was fighting the teacher.

((@PhoenixEye9 Sorry for really late posting... Haven`t been getting notifications at all. Also, yes my grammar sucked in that post... meh))

yeah...thank goodness. With the state my head is in right now, a scratch might not be the best thing.... she thought, inwardly sighing. are we done here?

Kelsey ignored his surroundings as he finished his work quickly. It was pathetically easy. Basic knowledge really. Yawning as boredom set in he leaned back in his seat and began to watch his surroundings. So far this class seemed like it will be fun.

After awhile of fighting, Zane finally defeats the pair. He lets out a bored sigh as he tells the two to return to their seats. He holds out Tamiko so she can return to her form and return to her seat. "Now then, back to the task at hand students, please turn in the worksheets onto my desk and return to your seats", he says aloud to make sure everyone has heard. He sat back in his desk and checked the time in his watch. "Geez, it's not even halfway through the class yet, and I already gave out the first assignment of the year...", he thought to himself, finding a way to continue the class.

Tamiko sighed as she sat down. Lord...her head was splitting. She covered her eyes with her hand, pinching the bridge of her nose when the absence of light did nothing to stall the pain. She raised her hand patiently.

He smiled as he saw her hand stretch up. He silently grabbed a small container from within his desk and tossed it at Tamiko, the container shaking its contents. "I sensed something was wrong Tamiko through your soul wavelength, don't take it as an insult, I'm hoping it actually helps", he tells to her as he threw the canister at her outstretched and open fisted hand.

Talon groaned to herself and slammed her head on her desk. "Is it lunch time yet?"

[emoji96]EN GARDE FUCCBOI

A weak giggle left the girl's lips. "Thank you," she murmured, downing two of the pills as soon as she got the canister open. Tamiko couldn't help the soft smile that claimed her face. It was impossible to deny how kind her Meister was to her, always offering help in the least demanding way possible when she needed it. He hardly ever failed to sense when something was wrong with her. Today just reminded her of the partnership they had before he became busy with teaching, reminding her how much she missed it. Sure, they may have a couple missions together, but with his busy schedule of grading, planning curriculum and such, he probably did have next to no time to spare, which meant that time he did have off she would rather he use to relax; especially with how stressing his students had proved to be so far.

The girl found herself sinking farther into her chair, eyes staring at the board, yet focusing on nothing in particular as she sank deeper into thought.

As Zane let out a bored sigh, the bell finally rung. Class was over and he wouldn't have had it any other way. He felt a quick thump against his forehead, letting out an annoyed groan. He was getting a headache... nothing some meditation wouldn't help. He stood up from his chair and sat against his desk. He slipped back on his robe and sat against the front of his desk. "Alright, turn in your worksheets if you're done, if you aren't, get them done, have a good day", he told aloud, dismissively waving his hand.

"Tamiko, you wouldn't mind if you stayed behind for a bit would ya?", he asked with a kind smile.

Kelsey perked up as the bell rang. Class was finally over! Smiling he stood and turned in his completed worksheet before heading out.

Tamiko jumped a bit, snapping out of her daze at hearing her name. "Huh...? Oh, no! I don't mind, of course! I don't have any plans... What do you need, sensei?" She asked, standing and slipping her paper onto the pile on his desk after Kelsey's. The lady's Amber eyes looked at him in a somewhat confused manner.
