Willow wracked her brain for any kind of strategy, but her mind appeared to be blank. It was pretty to easy to fight the other robots, but what about the Death Egg Robot? It was a whole lot bigger and stronger. Willow breathed in, "I suppose we'll have to go in and attack it blindly, and see if we manage to discover any weak points." She said regretfully, she didn't like the idea of just running in and already fighting, but she didn't see any other way to discover the potential weaknesses.
"Ah guess there isn't much of a choice." Dawn says. "Let's try it."

"Ah guess there isn't much of a choice." Dawn says. "Let's try it."

Willow nodded, and then braced herself by taking deep and controlled breaths. Her nerves were overwhelming her. Were the Freedom Fighters watching this right now? What id=f she completely screwed up. However, Willow hid her true feelings to Dawn, only giving her a bright smile and a thumbs up. "Only one way to find out!" She yelled, as she launched three daggers at the Death Egg robot. The robot turned around to face them, and it was starting to charge up some kind of laser beam.
"Where do we go from here?" Willow asked uneasily.

"Move around as fast as you can!" Dawn says. "That robot will have a harder time aiming at us if we keep movin'!" Dawn runs around in erratic patterns, making it harder for the Death Egg Robot to aim at her.

Sima was feeling the moment. Eyes narrowed and breath steadied, she glared that bird badnik down as if it were real. Just let it try to come at her! She ran ahead, locked in on the flying machine...and tried for an opening. Well, this was a little inconvenient. Sima was a strict melee fighter; she could not fly, and she did not have range. Only a good jump could allow her to score a hit under these conditions. If there was only some way she could latch onto it...

"Sima! It's an ambush!"

What? Sima stopped, her reverie broken as her eyes darted to her side. Shadows. Two of them. Two badniks emerged from the blur of snow--large, armored forms ready to join their companion. Sima squinted her eyes into the blur. In her focus, she had almost missed them, and what's more, she missed one important detail: this was a team operation.

Slowly, she backed up to where her partner, Tish, stood with daggers in hand. So she was a blade fighter too, then? Sima approved. She took a quick glance at her companion, the one whom she, admittedly, almost forgot was there. She never did get a chance to ask her about her skills back at the Freedom HQ. Honestly, she didn't have high hopes, given the fox's young age. However...perhaps, she shouldn't judge too soon. Not now, anyways. They needed to work together on this.

The two badniks came into view. One was a large land rover, with angry mechanical eyes and tank-like tracks that were sure to be effective in the snow. The other was smaller, but with a big gun. He, unfortunately, also flew.

"We'll go for the land rover first!" Sima shouted into the wind, plunging forward into the terrain. A missile was fired off of the beast, but she moved to dodge it, jumping at just the right time to send it crashing into the snow. She ran forward again, and jumped straight onto the badnik's back. And then, with one swift motion, she stabbed her sword through its center.

Willow nodded, leaping and running around the battlefield in chaotic patterns. To be honest she was probably confusing herself just as much as she was confusing the robot. She was constantly throwing daggers, none of them seemed to cause the robot any damage. "Any luck finding a weak point?" Willow called to Dawn.

"Not yet." Dawn says. "Did you have better luck?" He moved around, trying to use her lasso to inflict some sort of damage, trying to find a weak point.

Willow pouted. "No," She managed to pant out between all the running and dodging. To her relief, Willow managed to fire a dagger straight into the robots head. It stunned it for a second, allowing Willow to finally pause. "Aim for its head! That's the weak point!"

"The head? Got it!" Dawn says, as she aims her lasso at a high branch, before tossing it and making sure it was firmly grabbing onto the branch. "Here we go!" Dawn says, as she uses her lasso to swing herself towards the Death Egg Robot's head, lifting her feet as she did so she would kick it in the head when she collided with it, dealing a good amoung of damage. "It worked! Let's keep goin'! We can do this!"

"Good work!" Willow cheered, her voice almost becoming a squeal. They were getting somewhere! Oh this bucket of bolts was going down, nothing was going to stand in her way. She began to produce a lot of daggers. 5... 10... 15.... 20...25....30. She used the window of time Dawn had provided her to send a constant stream of daggers piercing the robots head. Now the robot was struggling to stand upright. Willow then knew what needed to be done next. "RIP OFF IT'S HEAD!" Willow yelled to Dawn, perhaps a little more aggressively than she had intended.

Dawn smiled, as she grabbed the robot's head with her lasso. "Here we go! Yee-haw!" exclaimed Dawn, as she pulled with all her strength, until finally, she managed to rip off the robot's head. "There it goes!"

"AW, I almost feel bad.." Willow grinned. She turned to Dawn and enveloped her in a tight hug. "YOU WERE AMAZING! THIS IS AMAZING! EVERYTHING'S AMAZING!" She squealed and cheered right in Dawn's ear. Although Willow didn't really care if the poor rabbit lost her hearing, as this was something worth celebrating to the max.

Dawn's eyes were wide open as Willow began to yell in her ear. Her head moved to the side as if the sound from Willow's voice was powerful enough to push her away. When Willow finished cheering, Dawn was still a bit dizzy and disorientated by the loud volume. She shook her head, trying to react normally. "We did it!" She cheered, before grabbing her ear, which was still hurting a bit from Willow's cheering. She smiled back a
Willow, trying to cting as if the yelling hadn't hurt her ear.

Willow was oblivious to Dawn's pain, as she continued to wildly jump in the air. "This is the best day of my life! Although.." She paused. "What do you think we're supposed to do now?

The test had ended. There was nothing left to do now. At least that's what Willow thought.

Silver plopped down next to Sonic, holding a box of popcorn. "This is going to be fun." Silver remarked, grinning and rubbing his hands together.
"Dude, 2 pairs have already won!" Sonic laughed. "Sorry to burst your bubble, Silvs, but while you were out getting popcorn, the good stuff has almost finished without you."
Silver pouted and muttered. "Just my luck."
"It's really impressive how some pairs have managed to already finish the test." Sally pointed out, almost with a tiny hint of admiration.
Tails nodded in agreement. "Let's just say, I have some high hopes for the new Freedom Fighters."
Bunnie grinned and turned back to the screen. "Ah don't know about ya'll, but I like that Dawn gal."
Antoine lightly punched Bunnie's robotic arm. "Don't you think you're a little biased, no?"
Bunnie dismissed Antoine's comment jokingly. "Pfft! Of course not!"
Amy smiled. "All of them are amazing! Although it seemed that Sky character had a fear of water, so I applaud him going through that!"
Sonic looked at the screen sympathetically. "It's okay bro, I know how you feel.."
"Let's not ignore Blade, he was great with that plasma blaster!" Tails exclaimed, slightly geeking out.
Rouge nodded then sighed. "They're okay I guess, they've still got a way to go before they are ready."
Knuckles hummed his agreement. "Lot's of training is still needed."
"SHUT UP!" Silver yelled, making everyone jump. "Things in the mountains are getting exciting!"

"I'm not sure." Sky answers. "Perhaps we should go there ourselves? We can go in my jet plane."

Meanwhile, Dawn, still grabbing her ear in pain, thinks about what Willow said. "Ah... Ah'm not sure." Dawn says. "Are we supposed to wait here until they come get us, or do we find a way to return?"

Ayde watched as Circuit did his best to trace the dots before them, he wondered if asking that was too unreasonable. All they literally got was random shots all about the place, the only real help being the fact they could see the other areas, and that the camera-screens were in order. Or at least he assumed the numbers implied that. Directions were efficiently laid out, and while the source was questionable the more Ayde thought about it, this was a team mission, and that meant trust in each other. The Thunderbird nodded to the ferret. "We should be alright." He smiled, looking toward room's end. "Speaking of, do you prefer speed, or stealth?"

"Ding! You are right, with our luck we'd die here no doubt. Example number one, we spawned in bug bot territory."

Whether it was ignorance to the situation or not, the golden jackal in contrast to his partner felt a strange calm. The saws were definitely scary but after avoiding them for so long, leading the enemy into destroying each other, and letting Ilma ruin as many as she did with her tool, it was like it didn't matter that they were bound to defensive maneuvers. Of course, the growing scrapyard around them only enlarged this newfound confidence. "Tails is one scary competitor to have built this many menaces, and naturally this raises several questions."

A hollow metal rod struck a tree in front of him as a pathetic apology came from behind. Fez gave her a wave showing how little the mistake meant as a swatted victim of the sheep's needle fiercely met several more, leaving them in a sparking heap. "I must say, you'd make a valiant baseball player with those skills." Magenta violently flickered around his hands held to suit his newly taken stance, the forces of his very soul fueling his silky smooth gloves making them as hard as steel.

Parry after parry, Fez began directly fending off attacks. Every swing he didn't dodge was deflected, and with each fallen bot he got more offensive. Catching the saw of an unlucky foe he made it his, infused some of his soul energy, and then let it rip carelessly through trees and troubles alike.

Circuit shook his head. "I'm not good at stealth, bro, so I guess we'll be going fast, unless you prefer otherwise." Perhaps it was his background as a mechanic, always spending far too much time in an environment louder than any organic being should be subjected to, but Circuit didn't have a quiet, subtle bone in his body. Unlike his mom, and his cousin, and literally anyone else, who always seem to flaunt their grace by sneaking up on him while he's working and scaring the nerves straight out of his body. Or....maybe he was just dense.

But he digresses.

"If we run—or, uh," he gestured to his hoverboard, "zoom through the emptiest hallways and get to the outside, we can probably avoid getting dog-piled by robots."

( MasterRed MasterRed hasn't responded in quite awhile, so I'm just going to carry my character Myrtle along a bit. I'll be referencing a partner but keep it general)

Myrtle The Lizard 🦎
Female | 14 | Can stick to any surface | Location: Island | Tages: MasterRed MasterRed ?
Introductions were quick and sweet, after all, they had to catch up! One portal leap later and Myrtle was already to take a nap. That sun just felt so good... "No! Come on! Gotta stay awake!" Slapping herself a bit, she took a battle pose. Being late definitely did not have it's perks: the enemy was already here and ready to fight!
Unable to even think about it, she jumped onto the nearest pom-tree as something metal whizzed inches from her body. "JEEPERS!", was strangely the only coherent sound that came from her mouth.
Myrtle was pretty used to flying solo, so she totally forgot about her partner in the moment. She leaped from the tree, crashing her mighty tail onto the robots head. Crushing it's metal skull. Myrtle was so excited about her little victory, she didn't even notice the metal arm swinging towards her until she tasted the sand in her mouth as she skidded along the beach.

Ilma The Sheep🐑
Female | 17 | Can cloak her body | Location: Forest | Tages: Astralworks Astralworks
Ilma was glad that Fez seemed to forgive her almost murder of him. She tried to focus more attention on him now, so she would not do something like that again. He even seemed to enjoy said "almost murder" because it appeared he got a new sword out of it, she mused.
As the robots thinned, Ilma watched Fez more and more. The feeling again. There was something odd about him. She just couldn't put her finger on it. If there was one thing she knew for certain, his combat skills were quite incredible!
The last of the robots went down without trouble. Ilma found herself basically standing out of the Jackal's way, as he seemed to be... enjoying the destruction. Maybe a little too much. She continued to make mental notes about her mysterious partner as the last of the bug bots he taken out by one of their own saws; thrown by Fex himself. "incredible...".
She tried to relax a bit as she looked around for her shoes she ditched awhile ago. She was about to question whether the test was over or not, when a strange, very loud, sound of crunching trees, caught her attention.
Regrouping next to her partner, she peered between the trees and saw a giant robot that she did not fully recognize. "Is that... a death egg?"
