Name: Yuri Kitsune
HQEc7Ld-SJGoehEHocC0uQ.png
Age: 18
Race: Au Ra (Raen)
Class: Archer/Bard, Rogue/Ninja, Dark Knight, Gladiator/Paladin
Personality: Flighty, upbeat, sometimes quite naive and a little bit bubble-headed. Can be quite intense during tense moments, but these times are like passing clouds during a sunny day.
Bio:
Yuri was born in a small village within Garlean-held Doma. Her family had originally moved there and settled before her birth and never spoke about where they had come from. Yuri's earliest memory was the sight of her mother walking out of their simple hut when she was barely six and never seeing her again. Yuri's father continued raising her, going away every so often in his role as a trader, leaving Yuri in the care of the village's elders who would teach her songs and dances of Doma that were outlawed by the Garleans.

Yuri struggled to understand why music and dance could be banned, only to be told that by making the traditions of a nation illegal eventually they would be forgotten. And, once forgotten, an important part of that nation's culture and heritage that existed before the occupation would be lost forever. This was how the Garlean Empire tightened their stranglehold over its dominion, that crushing of tradition, heritage, and culture to hasten assimilation into the norm of Imperial life. Even as a young girl, Yuri vowed to learn every verse of every song, every step of every dance and keep them alive within her.

One day, her father returned home from his travels, but he was not as cheerful as he'd always been previously. Instead, he simply suggested that she travel herself. He knew about her learning the forbidden songs and dances of Doma felt that if she was so taken by them, she should travel westward and learn what she could that way. Before she could even complain he explained that he had arranged for her to travel on a trading caravan to Gyr Abania. He hurriedly packed her possessions and hustled her and her bags of belongings to the town square where a dozen wagons sat waiting.

Yuri was too shocked at the turn of events to even refuse her father's actions and it was only when she was sat on the back of the rear wagon, watching as the houses and fields that she was familiar with disappeared into the distance, did she truly cry for the first time. She watched the world pass by as the wagons threaded their way across the Empire, visiting cities and towns that had lived under the thumbs of the callous and self-interested Garleans. Yuri found herself wondering how much of the world was trapped within the iron ring of the Emperor's influence. Yet, behind that feeling was a greater resolve to preserve the downtrodden cultures. She observed, she learned, she found her way into the secret side of people. And they taught her the songs, dances and melodies that had been forbidden by the Empire. She returned the favor by showing them all that she had learned previously, keeping the belief that the past was important alive.

Finally, the caravan came to Gyr Abania, the vast, barren land that was the most recent conquest of Garlemald. The people there were hard to befriend and even harder to gain the confidence of. They were cautious of strangers, for fear that they might be agents of the Empire. Yuri despaired that she would ever see a place that was free of the fear and oppression of the Empire.

The caravan was making camp one evening on its way toward Castrum Oriens when it was set upon by a strong force of bandits. The defenders were woefully unprepared for the attack and were scattered almost instantly, allowing the attackers into the camp. Yuri grabbed what she could of her possessions and fled into the night, closely pursued by several bandits. For fear of her life, she cast away everything she carried, save the bow and quiver of arrows she'd been using to hunt animals for food. The lighter load gave her more speed, but didn't save her when she fell into a deep hole in the ground.

At the bottom, Yuri found the side were too steep and too smooth to attemp to climb out. However, the hole led to a tunnel, carved deep below the surface. With no other options, she followed the tunnel until it reached the surface again. She emerged into a forest, far thicker than the one around Castrum Oriens and, as the moon rose behind her, she realised that she was on the other side of Baelsar's Wall. This was Gridania! She had seen it on the caravan master's map and had not even imagined what the place might look like, but she was here now. All that remained was to find a place to find shelter. And perhaps some new clothes. And some money. And a musical instrument or two. And some new clothes.

Race: Au Ra (Xaela)
Class: DRG
Personality: Honest, Calculating, Sociable, Loyal, Honorable, Horrible with understanding/creating humor.
Bio:Reis was born in the cold hills of Ishgard in the same spot where her mother died. Her mother had given her life to allow Reis to come into this world although the cold and harsh mountains were no place for a child she was safe from the tribes of her homeland.
She was luckily found by an Ishgardian couple and raised as one of their own. Among her and her five siblings Reis was the only one of a different race. This caused controversy from many. Yet in order to stay with her family she would endure anything. Once she came of age she was chosen by a dragoon to train with her in the mountains in order to defeat the dragon menace should the threat ever arise.

If you could just change the class to one of the classes from FFXIV you will all good

Kaerri Rainshadow
Age - 19
Race - Miqo'te (Keeper of the Sun)
Class - Rogue/Ninja, Gladiator/Paladin, Lancer/Dragoon (she tries out others, but she likes those three best)
Personality - Carefree, playful, light-hearted, and teasing on the surface, Kaerri rarely lets her serious side show. She does have one, but it shows most often in what she does, not what she says. A do-gooder of the adventurous sort, she roams Eorzea in search of people with problems she can solve, but leaves plenty of time for having fun, too. She doesn't talk much about herself, finding amusement in others' guesses (which she may or may not correct), but she's good at listening when others want to talk.
Bio - (coming soon!)
Other - I included Kaerri's lodestone page on her first post as a sort of placeholder for a picture, so I'll put it here as well: Kaerri Rainshadow | FINAL FANTASY XIV, The Lodestone
Note: I have a Kaerri in most video games, so that's why her name is the same as my username. This one is of course the FFXIV Kaerri. ^;3^

Atori Daisho.png
Name: Atori Daisho
Age: Around 35 (though she'll say she's ten years younger)
Race: Au Ra
Class: White mage
Personality: Atori comes across as tired and cynical most of the time, but she is genuine in her attempt to help others. When she mouths off to someone, it's mostly because they are doing something stupid (like think that having a white mage on their side means they can stand in acid) or otherwise making her job more difficult than it needs to be (like standing next to her when fighting an enemy that uses AoE attacks). If that person ignores her and continues to act stupidly, she'll spitefully refuse to heal that person. "It would be easier to continue without him than with him." She has an innate lack of respect for adventurers that haven't gone down the path of a healer. However, her respect is easy to acquire as long as you don't do anything stupid or at least try to improve.
Bio: -to be decided-
