Hate burns like a raging fire
Vie:
The sun had set, it was time to move the carnival. Which it didn't take as much out of Vie as it use to. She had grown in power since she was a child. A gift from both her father and her mother. Her mother, was a white witch, good to the core. Vie's father? Vile to the core. And like her father she was too vile and evil. It was something that she loved about herself, something that she would never change. She walked along making sure that all workers and performs, as well as creatures and food vendors, were all in their homes and places. She could feel the evil that pulsed beneath the surface. She fed off it. Hela was by her side, as she walked. Her trusted guard dog, she stood to her waist. The tips of Vie's fingers slipped along the fur, smoke rolled off Hela. She had come, in her own way, to love Hela. But Vie could never truly love anyone, it wasn't in her. It never would be. Love changes a person, and she didn't want to change. Her love was the darkness, and forever would be.
Vie walked to the center of the carnival, the souls cried out, she loved the sound. It made her black soul sing. With Hela at her side, she stood beneath the moon, casting shadows. With a wave of her hand, candles appeared around her in circle. She flipped her hand palm up, a long black dagger simmered. Gripping the handle, she slipped it out of her hand. Her long black robe covered and pooled at her feet. Pulling back the arm of her robe, with the long blade of her dagger, she ran it along the pale skin of her arm. The bite of pain made her shiver. As she opened her eyes, blackness but there was a unnatural glow to her eyes. Her blood pooled, then started to move out along and around the ground, covering the whole carnival. The boarder made by a thick line of blood circled the carnival as a whole.
Hela:
Moments like these she hated. To sit and watch as the world changed from the dark dense woods, to the unnatural yellow. Creatures danced on the edge of blood, it made her hackles stand on end. They would try and get into the carnival, to rip those inside apart. She loved to kill the creatures that were strong enough to push through the strong line of magic. Hela paced like a caged animal. A low growl ever present, sending a warning to the creatures that they would see death. She welcomed it. Knowing that Vie would be just fine. She walked away from her, first she went to check on Ro. He had become a friend to her. The only one that ever understood her. He could read her very mind, which made things that much easier in the end. He is the one other person that she would protect. No others would she do that for. They could die and she wouldn't give another thought to them.
Padding over to where he stayed at, she checked all around. That is when a sickly smell, the smell of death hit her nose. Padding over to the edge of Ro's place, following the smell. A creature, looking as those it flesh hung off its bones. Blood weeps from its body. It was making its way slowly to Ro's. The sounds of Vie's chanting echoed around the carnival. This was a strong creature, it craved flesh and blood. Drool stringed from its large mouth, razor sharp teeth two rows of them filled its mouth. No one would ever hurt Ro or Vie, not while she was around. Without a second thought, she lunged at the creature. Toppling to the ground, her sharp teeth sunk into the flesh and bone of the creature. A loud scream filled with pain filled the air. Its nail sunk into her body. With teeth and claws she tore and ripped the creature. The fight lasted for a few moments, blood from Hela's body peppered the ground. Ro was safe that is all that mattered.
She sat on her hunches, a demon guard, always on alert. She would stay here until the move was done, unless Vie needed her. Which she more then likely wouldn't need Hela.
Vie:
The world shifted and changed, a world of the in between. No normal could live here, but she loved the in between. It was the fastest way to travel, jumping from one place to another, even over seas. That just took a little longer. But in the states it was very easy for her now. She let her powers, lift and carry the whole of the carnival. She could feel every black and twisted soul within. Knew if they slept or were awake watching from their homes. They knew better to come out at these times. They would answer to her if they stepped out of their homes. She wouldn't put up with anyone going against her rules. They would beg for death.
After 30 minutes to an hour. She felt where the souls were ripe for the picking. She grinned wickedly. This would be their new home for now. Let the fun begin!
