Time of Day: Afternoon

Season: Beginning of Fall

Flaming Spark:

She lets out a yawn what was probably for the third time today. She lets out a sigh and wished that she wasn't so tired for once. She wasn't sure why but lately she hasn't been sleeping well. She has been having some strange dreams, they weren't scary, they were just weird and creepy; and she had no clue what they meant. She really should confirm her dreams with Ice Crystal, but she didn't want to disturb her. She seemed to be too busy all the time, with some project--though Flaming Spark stayed away from it, and it made her dreams seem all the more strange. Maybe she was just worried about her pack, if and how it would grow. If she had the same type of dreams tonight, then she would confirm with Ice Crystal. For now she would continue to overlook the pack, looking over the ground below, on her Alpha Rock.

Fallen Night:

He sniffs at the bush that was next to him and breathes in the fresh forest air. It was close. He wasn't in the pack clearing but instead in the surrounding forests around them. He was off on hunting duty and right now he was tracking down a rabbit. Underneath the bush he could smell and it only took a few more moments to spot the rabbit droppings. He lets out a growl, flattens his ears, and lowers his body to the ground--going into a stalking position. He continued to walk more in the direction that he was going and then stops again when the scent of the rabbit smelled fresher. He crouches down lower but not too low so his belly fur doesn't brush against the ground. He flicks his eyes closely from spot to spot and lets his nose do the tracking. Finally, he spots the rabbit. Checking his position, he makes sure he was downwind of it. He creeps closer and closer to the rabbit and just before he pounces the rabbit senses him and runs away.

Shanelle:

She was watching and following Fallen Night from behind. She decided to stalk him like he was stalking the rabbit. She knew that he was stalking the rabbit because she could smell the rabbit just as well as he could. The only thing he couldn't smell was her. She decided to roll into the earth a bit to mask up her scent and besides, she was downwind of him anyway. She had to restrain herself from letting out a little giggle when he didn't notice that Shanelle was following him the whole time. Usually, she couldn't track him for this long and he would have figured out already. Yet perhaps he was too busy hunting to notice her for once. After all, any other time she stalked him, he wasn't hunting--well, most time. Then she realizes where he was going and guessed where the rabbit would be too. With a slight huff of determination she stopped stalking Fallen Night and decides to go around, to the opposite side of where the rabbit would be. Fallen Night would be too angry at her if he figured out Shanelle was stalking him, especially if he lost his prey. And she timed it just right, when the rabbit started running, she was on the other side of a bush and decides to spring out now; pouncing and killing on the rabbit. She looks up at Fallen Night, smiles at him, and this time lets out a girlish giggle when he saw her.

Ice Crystal:

She was collecting herbs as usual, nothing seemed to be out of place this time. Yet, truly, she really wasn't just collecting herbs. It was more for her project. She lets out a sigh and felt guilty. She really should tell her Flaming Spark about her project, but she wasn't sure that it would work; and didn't want to be shown up in failure in front of her leader. She twitches her ears slightly in more discomfort. How would she even be sure it would work or not? It's not like she would test it out on any fox or any other animal either. Yet she was too afraid to use it if she didn't know if it worked or not. She grabs the last herb in the area that she could carry in her mouth and then picks up the rest of her herbs that she had set aside and finally went back to her den. She sets her herbs down and puts the herbs in the regular piles. She sniffs the biggest pile that was separated and far apart from the rest of the herbs this was her project that she was working on. It wasn't much of a project, but something that could help the pack, no matter. She sniffs it again and twitches her ears in frustration again. How could she tell if it was ready or not? If it had too much or too little of something? She just didn't know and had to find out, but was too scared to find out. What if everything went wrong? Trying to think, she decides to mix it a bit more. But she couldn't mix it with her own paws or mouth, it could contaminate her project. So instead she picks up a stick with her mouth, a stick that was rid of bark and was clean as can be, she uses that to mix it.

Shading Ashes:

He was laying down in his nest. The whole den was actually the Hunters' and the Fighters' den. All of them shared the same den. The only Hunter and Fighter that didn't share the same den was the Lead Hunter and the Lead Fighter. However, just because you shared the same den, at least, each fox had their own nest. Unless they decided to share it with someone; and so far, no one did share a nest--he especially didn't share a nest and wasn't going too. The only really available female was Shanelle, she was quite cute and flirty, but she had all of her eyes on Fallen Night. He didn't have any chance with his leader, he wasn't worthy enough; and Ice Crystal never seemed interested in any mate. She was too busy healing the sick and the hurt to worry about a mate--which, in a way, he could somewhat understand--even though he knew nothing about healing. Even though he didn't necessarily didn't want a mate, he still wished he had someone to talk too. Maybe he should of joined Fallen Night on a hunting trip, but Shading Ashes was still somewhat new to the pack and he felt awkward around him. Besides, he could tell that Fallen Night hated newcomers and until somebody new came, he was stuck as the labeled and titled as the only newcomer.

Exile was walking alone. Her fur was black as a night with no moon. Her eyes were a dark blue sapphire color. She was a strange fox indeed. She slowly walked her back leg injuried in a fight that happened not to long ago. Her eyes looked around. She looked up and sniffed the air. She kept walking even though she new a group of foxes was near by. She didn't think it conserned her. If any attacked she'd be sure to kill them. She ignored the pain of walking, and her hunger. Her body was sure to fail her soon, not having rest in a long time. She perked her ears and then watched a rabbit running towards her. She jumped but suddenly saw another fox get it. She landed and then looked at the two foxes.

The wind picked up, if they hadn't heard her already she was sure to be smelled with the strong scent of blood on her. She dashed but it seemed there was no place to hide. She closed her eyes pain surging through her. She lost her vision for a moment and fell on her side. She opened her eyes and then looked at the foxes. She just made things worse for herself.

Fire

he was running fast throw the forest he suddenly tripped over a rock and into a hunter trap he was near by sly night fox pack he tilted his head bac and yelps in pain his leg was in a trap that has metal teeth diggin itno him the more he struggled to get out the more it hort him and the more worst his wond got.

Moon

she was walking on unknown territory now and she looks around smelling all sorts of Wird new sents she never meen in a reall pack befor and never done a thing like she doing she was a miss goody she normal stays loyal to the pack she was in but couldnt stay there anymore so leaving it and going to new grounds was scary for her she kinda hoped she wouldn't get attacked or killed right now she looks around for a nother fox

Buck nudged Raven along wanting to keep the bedraggled vixen moving. They still lay in unfamiliar territory and he worried of an attack, however the young fox was in end of a break. He called her young but in many ways she was just as old as he, Raven had been forced to grow up fast and smart and in some ways was just as prepared as he when it came to a fight. However Buck was still the guide in her life, Raven leaned on him for support and looked to him for leadership. It was a heavy burden for a dog to carry especially without the guidance or help of a pack.

His amber eyes fell upon Raven worriedly; she had progressively gotten sicker the past few days and he had not an idea of what to do. Her normally lush black and grey coat was dull and patchy and her sickening coughs racked her frail body. She had been refusing food and when she would eat everything came back up. Buck had been meticulous in his hunting but Raven had mistaken an old scrap of meat for something he had brought back, since then she had not been the same. At that moment another heavy cough wracked her body nearly dropping her to the ground, “Let’s take a break,” he whispered nosing her gently. Raven nodded thankfully and folded her legs underneath before crumbling unceremoniously.

Keiran was running around the territory happily as Astra tried to hurry, kind of. She wanted Keiran safe but she didn't want to keep chasing him around, she was sorta hoping to run into another fox that might take him in, but the problem was she was also worried they would get attacked right on the spot. Keiran didn't seem to notice anything, being the hyper kit he was, and he was having too much fun to care. Astra sighed, sniffed the air, and then smelled two foxes. She quickened her pace as Keiran followed.

Won't be on tomorrow boy friend coming over I love him

Fire

he yelps again hopping for help from someone anyone he was on pain from the hunters trap

Astra heard Fire's yelps and quickly ran to him, but when she saw him in the hunters trap she didn't quit know what to do. Usually it was the alpha of her pack that dealt with any human traps. While Astra examined the trap, she noticed Keiran wasn't next to her and she couldn't hear him running close by.

Keiran didn't even notice Astra left him, he kept running around sniffing the ground until he ran into Shanelle's leg. He looked up at her and backed away expecting to run into Astra, who of course would protect him, but when he didn't run into her, he looked back to see she was nowhere in sight, then he looked back at Shanelle and noticed Fallen Night also making him lower to the ground, scared.

Fire

he looks at the new wolf he was so thankfull for someone to be able to help he looks at Astra whimpering in pain he watches her not able to get himself to say something

Astra started messing with the trap, trying to quickly help the trapped fox as fast as she could so she could find Keiran before he got himself in trouble, or worse. Finally she got the trap to snap open and walked over to the fox asking, "can you walk?"

Fire

he tryed to walk but falls and struggles to get up whimpering and all " I'm fin thanks you thank you so much " he didn't sound fin at all he try's to walk but he couldn't manage to not even with three legs .

Fallen Night:

He lets out a sigh and a half growl as well. Of course, out of all of the foxes, it just had to be Shanelle--the one fox that just bothered him the most. She had an obvious crush on him and even followed him before, guessing just like she did now; and truthfully it was quite annoying and creepy and very very stalkerish. There was no hope for them to be a couple and no matter how many times he bared his teeth at Shanelle or growled or told her to get out of his way, she just didn't stop. He couldn't get her to leave him alone! He didn't have any privacy when it came with Shanelle. The only private time he had was when he went to his den, since he had a separate den, because he was the Delta Dog. That was one of the reasons why he had worked so hard to try to get the Delta Dog position, was to get away from Shanelle. With hard work and persuasive talking, he had gained Flaming Spark's trust and he finally got the position of Delta Dog. Yet even during the night, he wouldn't be surprised if he heard that Shanelle was creeping around his den and was looking at him through the bushes. Now he had to show some bit of emotion to her since she did help him catch his prey; and he really didn't want too at all. But he had to say something, so instead he lets out a soft grunt of appreciation to Shanelle.

Shanelle:

She lets out a devious smile and waits patiently for Fallen Night to thank her. After all, the rabbit could of been a lost piece of prey. She sets down the rabbit and after awhile, Fallen Night finally grunted. She knew that it was his signal of thanks and she would take this then nothing at all. However, when she dropped the rabbit, she picked up a scent on the wind and knew at the same time that Fallen Night had too. He had lifted up his nose in slight interest. However, it was a smell that Shanelle feared the most and made her revolt instantly. It was the scent of blood and her stomach starts to roll, she thought that she was about to throw up. She could handle the blood and guts of her prey, but not the blood of other foxes--though she still insisted on being a Fighter as well. She just couldn't handle letting her packmates down by not fighting in a battle, which was worse than the scent of blood. So she had always stuck it up then and she would now. However, she almost lost it and screamed when she saw the fox that came in that was covered up in blood. She was too shocked to say anything and was in a much greater shock when suddenly a kit bumped into her foreleg and she looked down upon it. The kit cowered in fear and backed away. Shanelle didn't want the kit to leave but at the same time she needed to collect her thoughts, she wasn't sure what to do, with either the bloody and broken fox or this scared little kit.

Fallen Night:

He had been sniffing the air and caught the scent of blood and his thoughts and annoyances with Shanelle was put to the back of his mind for the moment. He was too caught up on how much Shanelle annoyed him and the scent of rabbit to smell it before. However, if there was the scent of blood, then chances are was that the fox that was carrying the blood was too injured to do anything or to put up much of a fight. His suspicions were confirmed when he caught eye of Exile. But he wasn't able to do anything when he caught scent of yet another fox, but this fox was younger, and it was a kit. He lets out a low growl and he notices the look of panic and concern on Shanelle's face. He lets out a sigh and rolls his eyes in annoyance. He knew what he had to do. He hated to help others but at the same time he hated kits more; yet he supposed that this was how he was going to repay Shanelle for her helping him to catch the rabbit. He growls and stalks away from Shanelle and the kit, knowing that Shanelle had a kind enough heart to take care of it. There was no way that he would be able to get the kit to trust him even if he cared or tried. So he stalks up to Exile instead. "What's your name? And how did this happen to you?" He says in a harsh snarl and yet if anybody knew Fallen Night, he always growled or snarled stuff out. But this fox didn't know him so it added to the menacing figure he was playing at. His rudeness and pretending not to care was how he treated everybody, even, sometimes, the Alpha.

Astra sighed "Wait here, I'll find some help." She quickly ran back to where Keiran was and follows his scent to find him in front of Shanelle still scared. She quickly came up behind him towering over him so he would see her shadow and look up at her. Keiran smiled and hide behind Astra without a second look at the fox he ran into. "If he did anything wrong, I'm sorry," Astra said looking at Shanelle. She looked back at Keiran shaking her head slightly, he always got them in trouble and Astra always had to pay for it, once she almost got her tail bit off because of the little runt. She sighed then looked back at the vixen and said, "I think one of your pack mates was hurt by a human trap and can't walk. He's not too far from here and I could take you to him."

Fire

he claps to the ground he growls " fire ur not week get up " he growls snapping to himself he gets up he manages to take two straps but once again falls to the ground he yelps in pain loudly and whimpers trying to get up once again

Sky

The younge she fox found her Way into sly night fox pack she looks around and sees it is safe and slips into the pack she looks around and frowns confused not really seeing anyone

Exile looks at the dog before her. She slowly gets up. Her injuries were deep but she still stood. She growls at the dog. "I was attacked." she said and then took a more tall stance. "I am Exile." she said and then caught herself before she fell. She shook her head trying to stay standing. Food, water, and rest was what she needed. After that she probably would be up and at least walking. She was suffering from blood loss as well. She looked at the dog. She probably would bite him if he got to close. She knew old friends probably would be comming but she couldn't wait till then.

Buck could tell that Raven was in severe need of help, she looked like death and he was unsure if she was going to even make it. As he sat down next to her the wind shifted and a new scent blew across his nostrils. It was that of a pack of fox and they were nearby. So close in fact that he actually spotted a den from where he and Raven were sitting. They were practically in the center of the pack's territory and because of the shifting wind and how focused he had been on his sister he had not noticed the signs. Buck looked down at Raven, she was sleeping fitfully beside him and he knew that she would be knocked out for at least a few minutes before another coughing fit wracked her body. Carefully the dog stood and made his way deeper into the pack's camp. "Hello?" he barked questioningly. He held his head high but kept his tail lowered in respect, Buck knew he was taking a risk but he did not see another option.

Shanelle:

She almost lost her mind and screamed this time when yet another fox comes by, but she doesn't, though she does let out a small yip of surprise. She takes a deep breathe and calms her pounding heart. "No, he was no trouble at all. I was just surprised is all to see him here. There's just seems to be.." She cuts herself off and wasn't sure how or if to continue on. Now that she noticed and sniffed a bit more and stretched out her sense of smell, there seemed to be a lot more foxes' scent, more that was in her pack; and they were in their territory. She was starting to wonder if this was an attack and want she really should do is dash back to camp and warn her Alpha. However, if that was the case, then Shanelle would be too late anyhow; and she figured that the camp would already be overrun. Shanelle shakes her head and realized she was starting to think like Fallen Night, maybe she should stop stalking him. She then realized that this other fox seemed harmless and she mentioned another fox being caught in a fox trap. She knew that trap and the rest of the pack knew about the trap too. They knew where it was and avoided that area at all costs. This fox was not part of the pack but she keeps silent about that. She instead nods her head in agreement for Astra to show her where the trap was. "Oh my! Things just keep on happening today. Yes, can you please show me the way?" She jumps to her paws and knew where the fox trap was, but doesn't show it, though she wasn't sure why she hid the fact from Astra that this wasn't one of her pack mates.

Fallen Night:

He hears her growl and he flattens his ears and growls again, matching her growl. He narrows his eyes when she stands up tall. He snarls his teeth and stands up taller than her. He wasn't going to be submissive to her. He was the 3rd highest rank in his pack and as far as he knew she was just a loner. He really should just kill her now. However, he instantly felt an interest in her. She had challenged and he liked the competition, though he knew that he would win in the end. "Well, you being attacked is quite obvious." His voice was different this time, it wasn't aggressive, but it was instead amused and arrogant. "Bad too. There's only two options for me to do. Either I take you to my pack so my Healer can help you or I finish you off now. You're choice. Which one is it?" His voice wasn't threatening or pressured, it was just calm; and this time as before it also had an edge of amusement. His eyes sparkled a bit too, which was quite unusual for him. Yet though he said that it was her choice, that wasn't true at all. He knew what he was going to do either choice that she makes.

Flaming Spark:

She lets out another sigh and was about to doze off--though she didn't really want to sleep considering her dreams any other time she slept--when a flicker of movement caught her eye. She rises up on her haunches and looks down, glad of the high viewpoint she had. She watches a vixen fox walks into the camp and she lets out a low growl, not sure what to expect or if there was any more foxes coming in. Then the wind picked up and she lifts up her head and sniffs the air, letting out a soft gasp. There was a bunch of strange fox scent out there and her fur prickled up. There was too many of them for her pack to chase them off. They would have to move and start over again if they planned to survive. Flaming Spark takes a deep breathe and calms her nerves. There was no evidence that they were all going to attack. Maybe some of them was even planning on joining her pack, this was just what she needed. Flaming Spark's attention was dragged away from the vixen fox as a dog fox came in, but he didn't seem to be with the vixen fox, which was a good thing she supposed. She hears the hello and decides what to do next. She then sits up and raises herself up on her High Rock. "Up here." She says loud enough to get both of the foxes' attention. Flaming Spark held herself straight and proud and in a stance that said she was Alpha.

Exile looks at the dog and then seemed to calm just a bit. Although she was still ready to attack him. "Hmph." She said and then slowly limped towards the pack scent. She looked back at him her eyes narrowed. "Are you going to show me or should I keep limping?" She said harshly to him and then started to walk slowly. She felt tired but she had to keep moving. She wouldn't easily summit to anyone and it was only because she was so wrecked would she accept the help of a stranger. Although she would make sure he kept his distrance from her. She would probably be nicer when she was feeling better.

Astra was glad Keiran wasn't being a bother and nodded when Shanelle told her to show the way. "Try and keep up, Keiran," she mumbled to the kit before she started running to the hurt fox. Keiran followed as fast as he could but was still behind Astra. Once to the hurt fox she turned to see if Shanelle was still following as Keiran bumped into her leg and fell back. Astra helped him up as she said, "You need to be careful before you do that to a wolf or something worse, Keiran." He nodded but just looked over at the hurt fox and stepped back with the smell of blood strong in his nose, which made him think of his parents, but before he could run Astra put her tail around him comforting and looked up at Shanelle.

Buck looked about for the voice before finally spotting the vixen. She was standing proudly upon a huge rock and was exuding dominance. However the dog did not lower his head, he kept himself in a neutral position without demeaning himself. He needed this vixen’s help but he did not want to get himself any deeper into trouble, “My sister and I wandered onto your territory and we are in need of a healer. I understand that it is a lot to ask but my sister ate what must have been tainted meat and I fear she may die without help,” he barked his eyes never breaking contact with hers. He was not about to let this vixen walk all over him, as an Alpha he gave her due respect but that was all.

Fire

he claps to the ground he growls " fire ur not week get up " he growls snapping to himself he gets up he manages to take two straps but once again falls to the ground he yelps in pain loudly and whimpers trying to get up once again

Astra looked at Fire and put a paw on his back. "Don't hurt yourself, we're going to get you help so you'll be on your feet in no time."

Fire

he looks up at Astra he shook his head " no I'm fin I need to get out of hear I need to go " he trys to get up again and falls yelling in pain

Fallen Night:

He lets out a soft snicker when Exile asks if he was going to let her keep on limping or not. Though he wasn't as aggressive, he still had a rude attitude towards her. He didn't want to just automatically help Exile though. He could sense an air of independence around Exile and in fact she reminded him a lot of himself too. Which meant that she was tough and that she probably didn't want help even if she really needed it. Besides, he wanted to keep his distance away from her, in case she would strike out. He knew that if she did he could dodge her, but he didn't want to get hurt just in case, or get her more hurt. Not that he cared about her, but because it would be more work for Ice Crystal. The sooner she was healed the sooner he could be rid of Exile. Fallen Night realized that he still hadn't answered her question. "Either way we are going to my camp, so it doesn't matter, really. Depends, do you want to keep on limping or not?" He had walked in front of Exile and took the lead from her, leading her to his camp; but going at a slow enough pace. He now turned around and gave her a slight devious smile.

Shanelle:

She kept pace with Astra and at times even sprinted ahead of Astra, but then would freeze, letting Astra take the lead again. She did this so Astra would go in the illusion that she was worried for her "pack mate" and that she wanted to get there as fast as possible. However, that wasn't exactly false, she did want to get to the fox as fast as possible, just that this fox wasn't her pack mate. Finally they made it to the fox trap and she lets out an inner sigh, this was exactly the trap she thought it was; and knew how to get there the same time too. She lets out a soft gasp when she smelled the blood and she had to stop, waiting for the feeling of passing out escape over her. She finally didn't feel so dizzy anymore and blinked her eyes in surprise. She then looks at Fire, but without seeing the blood. She turns to Astra. "Do you think you could help me bring him back to camp with me?" She asks in a desperate way and knew that she didn't do anything to deserve Astra's help nor did Fire do anything to deserve her help, but she just had to help him.

Flaming Spark:

She listens to Buck's story and she frowns slightly. This wasn't as good as she thought it would be, yet she could find no harm in helping them. After all, they may want to join afterwards. Though, if they didn't join, it would be a disadvantage to the pack. They could come back later to attack. Or they could always send somebody to attack them now if they refused to help. She inwardly shook her head to herself, this was ridiculous to think like that. She then realized that the vixen fox didn't say anything yet. She would call her out though. "I will help you." She replies to the dog fox and lifts up her head to let out a yip. The yip was to be a call out to Ice Crystal, but she was too slow.

Ice Crystal:

She had been busy mixing herbs, though she had no clue why, she had a sense to do so. Besides, it gave her something to do, and no could never be not prepared enough. She didn't know what it was, but whatever it, she had the right idea to be getting prepared for injuries. As she picked up some poppy seeds, she dropped them automatically, as if they were poisoned. She had a blanked out look and there was the taste of blood in her mouth. She realized then that all around her she couldn't see, it was completely black. When she regained her vision, the taste was still there. Then she realized that it wasn't the taste that was still there, but was the scent. She grabs snatches of herb parcels in her mouth and runs out of her den. She sets the herbs down and looks at Buck. "Bring her in the camp, quick! Flaming Spark, go with him, and help him if he needs it! I need to stay here, there are other foxes injured, all of them are coming here--they are with Shanelle and Fallen Night though. They will be safe." She explains quickly as she can, there was one last fox that was missing. "Shading Ashes!" She barks loudly for him and she would need his help too, all the help she could get, in fact.
