Cinder Radcliff - Master Carpenter

Location: Altersdale
Cinder had turned his attention from Historia briefly after hearing a response spur from her mouth, though something about their interactions as of late seemed... off putting. He wasn't much to talk with his own issues to work out. He wasn't given much time as gunshots began to ring out further into the town, in the general direction of the Emporium. In the direction of the rest of the crew. Without hesitation his feet started carrying the full weight of his axe and body before he could give the command to run, axe held firmly in both hands as he sprinted. Building after building passed by as his legs carried him effortlessly through the rain, the pitter patter of each drop of life from the heavens growing louder and more frequent as memories of his childhood began to fill his mind. The sprawling town turned to forest as his early years of life began to play back atop his current actions, the dense redwood trees and thick forest floor flora winding and turning with the path of the town. He could vaguely see the log cabin he grew up in with his parents. Pristine and massive, he could remember his parents awaiting his arrival alongside his aunts and uncles, of his cousins running around and playing as he remembered - of the rain giving the forest its refreshing sheen as the sunlight began to pierce the clouds. The memories came to an abrupt end. With the tavern now in sight he saw soldiers standing outside with guns at the ready, bullet holes riddling the walls. The brief memory of his log cabin burning filled his mind as horror and tragedy seemed to strike at him once more. His grip in the axe tightened as he slowed to a stop, teeth gritting against one another as his imagination began to run wild with fear. Mira with a hole through her head, Steel lifeless as piss-soaked beer dripped from his mouth, Gus keeled over on the gambling table. As all of their imagined deaths began to sink in a primal rage began to come forth, his slowed progress suddenly launching him forward. Before the first soldier that noticed him could even vaguely gesture for help he had already closed the distance, his axe raised and already flying forward in a blaze of speed. By the time the other soldiers had taken notice the first had fallen to the hands of Cinder. Blood was slung forward as the soldier was sliced in half, their arms falling to the ground first before their upper torso gradually fell down onto the pavement, guts sprawled out as a fountain of red painted the stone beneath them. Before he took another step forward he looked at the soldiers with an intense glare, his mouth parting briefly to convey only rage.
