So let me start this by saying, even though Im doing this in search of a Co-Gm, if you see read through all this and see a plot hole or just have a thought/idea on it, I encourage you to say something. Anyway heres the pitch:
  • The Stormcloaks are soundly defeated in their attempt to take Whiterun by force. Unwilling to back down at the first, or any sign of defeat, Ulfric's blunder causes the Stormcloaks severe losses.

  • Using the chaos of the Battle of Whiterun to their advantage, the Silver Hand strike at the companions. All of the fragments of Wuuthrad are stolen and Kodlak Whitemane is killed. Skjor is named Harbinger after the funeral.

  • In the months following the loss of Whiterun, the Stormcloaks lose more battles at forts Amol, Dunstad, & Greenwall. Losing his faith in talos and the divines, a desperate Ulfric looks to the Daedric prince of schemes for help.

  • Not looking for another city to become a battleground, the Empire finds a different means of taking Riften. Maven Blackbriar allies with the Empire (at an extremely high cost) giving away key information to the Stormcloak's remaining forces and supply lines.

  • Not only this but the locations of both the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild hideouts were also divulged by the machinating matriarch. This was not without reason. Mercer Frey, the current head of the Thieves guild had recently betrayed Maven, despite the tremendous amount of work she gave his organization. The Brotherhood had not actually wronged Maven, but she had the information, and she'd rather not have her previous purchases getting out.

  • As the Riften guard was already on her payroll, Maven's ascension to Jarl was not a coup so much as her claiming her rightful seat. The city opens the gates to the Imperial forces and the Rift is claimed for the Empire.

  • Unfortunately for the Empire, the raid on the Dark Brotherhood was not a complete success. Arnbjorn the White Wolf escapes alive, after seeing his wife Astrid burned alive. After successfully stowing away on the Katariah while docked outside of Solitude, the enraged werewolf waits until the Ship sets out to sea before going on brutal rampage.

  • This event gives the Empire cause to begin directly supporting the Vigilants of Stendarr. This does not go unnoticed by the Stormcloaks. This does not slow the rapid spread of vampirism throughout Skyrim however.

  • The details of the Emperor's death are kept hidden from the public. The entire ship massacre is burned at Sea, while the news is spread throughout the Empire that a sudden illness has claimed the Emperor.

  • Ulfric Stormcloak is visited by an apparition of Molag Bal, and is offered to the power to turn the tide of war back in his favor. In exchange for eternal servitude of course. Ulfric accepts and becomes a Vampire Lord. He then shares his power only amongst his highest ranking soldiers.

  • One month after the Rift is claimed by the Empire, the Stormcloak's retake Dunstad. The raid happens overnight and no survivors are left to tell the horrendous tale of what exactly attacked. In truth, Galmar Bloodfist (A fitting name change earned due to this event) single handedly slew every imperial soldier within the fort using his newfound powers. The version of the story known by the public is Galmar and an elite group of mercenaries now fighting for Ulfric took the fort by surprise, and Galmar took no prisoners.

  • The Vigilants of Stendarr are quick to learn the secret of the inner circle of the Companions. Once Arnbjorn's connection to the circle is discovered, bounties are placed on every member of the Circle, as they are branded enemies of the Empire. Multiple missing persons, wolf attacks, and other various crimes are all pinned on each member.

  • The remaining Companions disband as the name and reputation of the group is tarnished. Skjor and Aela start a new smaller band of warriors, all of whom are wanted by the Empire. Every member is gifted the beast blood. Though they often clash with the Empire, they have not joined the Stormcloaks.

  • Vilkas is captured in woods surrounding Falkreath and is beheaded at Helgen in the following week. Farkas remains at large, not known to be affiliated with any group. Jorrvaskr is claimed by the empire, stripped to the bare essentials and is put up for sale.

  • The Vigilants soon begin uncover the secrets in the rise of Vampirism across Skyrim. Just as they were about to discover the truth and successfully prove Ulfric to be the culprit, the Hall of Vigilants is destroyed in an attack led by Skjor and Aela. All remaining Vigilants in Skyrim are hunted down by the Wolf Pack.

  • General Tullius moves ahead with his planned assault on Windhelm, due to a number of reports saying majority of the Stormcloak forces we're currently located just outside of Morthal. Unfortunately for the Imperial Army, they had charged right into Ulfric's trap.

  • Resistance against the invading imperials was almost non-existent. The city gate's didn't manage to close on time, so there had not even been a siege. Tullius thinks this is due to poor planning on Ulfric's part, and pushes through the city gates, all the way to the doors of the Palace of Kings. Then the city gates shut behind the imperials, locking them in the city. Locked in like cattle, the slaughter begins.

  • Emerging from every home, shop, sewer drain, rooftop, and streetside barrel, arose hundreds of Vampires and thralls. Standing atop the Palace entrance, Ulfric and his generals watch the finale of their plan unfold. As per specific instructions from Ulfric,Tullius fights in vain as his soldiers are slewn like cattle, until he is the last living human standing.

  • Ulfric reveals his true form to his former adversary, and explains the rather simple scheme that was his undoing. Ulfric had purposefully sent all of his non vampire soldiers east, to look as though he was planning on another counter attack. He did this knowing full well Tullius and his army were coming. Ulfric wanted the massacre of Tullius and his army to happen in a private location, with no spectators, as no one is going to support a Vampire for High King. Now, Ulfric could tell his version of how he won the Battle of Winterfell with only the city guard, and a few handfuls of soldiers.

  • The last step of his plan was turning every citizen and shop keeper in the city, and then starving them of blood for a few days. When the Imperials barged into the city, they didn't hesitate to kill the city guard, but just like Ulfric had planned on, the Imperials made an effort not to harm civilians.

  • Ulfric and his Generals devour Tullius while the residents of Windhelm feast on the Imperial army. Word of Tullius' defeat and Ulfric's underdogged victory spread from across Tamriel like wildfire, slowly morphing into a legendary story. Some versions of the story go as Ulfric and his twenty men vs Tullius and four battalions, others say Ulfric single handedly defended the city by shouting the imperials off the bridge before even entering the city. This does not mark the end of the war however.

  • An Imperial Soldier survives Windhelm and through nothing short of a miracle, they make it out of the city. They eventually make their way to Cyrodil, and report the truth of what happened to the Imperial Council. It is decided that the Empire will continue its against the Stormcloaks, but in a much different manner as each Imperial death now literally only feeds the enemy.

  • Imperial reinforcements arrive and are stationed along the borders of the remaining three hold's held by Ulfric. Meanwhile, ______ is sent to Fort Dawnguard with enough resources to kick start a war on Vampirism. And if possible, finish the war on lycanthropy.

  • Only the founder of the new Dawnguard knows who funded it originally. The Imperial amy believe themselves still to be fighting a simple rebellion, and the new Dawnguard members have yet to find out their true goal or the truth about the Ulfric and his generals.

*note I have not dated everything, so some may be a little out of order.

So tl;dr version the rp is new dawngaurd (name will likely change) lead by you (the co gm) will take our merry band of vampire (and werewolf) hunters across skyrim to eventually take down Ulfric. (And Aela and Skjor).
I should note I am looking for someone who can reply often, every other day if not daily honestly.
Main reason I'm looking for a co gm is to have a second set of ideas and someone to bounce ideas off of. I also like have 1 gm lead and 1 gm play the opposition. As for structure of the rp I see it being us plus a group of max 10 people. Small enough to keep it simple but big enough so if a couple drop out, we arent left stranded. There are other things I'd like to go over before starting this all up, but thats the essientials of the idea for the pitch. Questions, comments, and concerns are welcome!
