Fantasy Shura Academy: How Strong is Your Punch!? (Martial Arts/Super Power/ School RP)

Strongest in the West

The Age of Myths..Never Ended
And so the world continued to turn as legendary beings of various pantheons, legends, and myths continued to flourish and grow, becoming paramount to our modern world. The faith of humans towards these creatures, deities, and heroes never wavered, only prospered as ages passed. Seeing legendary creatures like dragons, pledging allegiance to certain gods, and wielding arcane weapons is common place in today's era.

As the Age of Myths never ended, the abilities given to humans from these beings never disappeared.

Contractors: Humans that pledge loyalty and faith to certain pantheons, creatures, or myths, gain the powers and abilities of said beings. It's not strange to see specific clans/families be loyal to a singular god or beast, or even pledge faith to a pantheon, in return: members of the clan/families receive powers, abilities, and legendary weapons from their allegiance, showing to which Myth they pledge to. Of course, there are also those who do not belong to a clan/family and simply discover/pledge to a Myth simply by themselves, becoming an Independent Contractor, which is not frowned upon, only seen as another privilege from the Myths. Contractors born into a clan/family with an already established contract are born with a contract, the pledged Myths selecting the specific creature/deity/hero that will contract with the newborn human. Contractors are powerful, gaining all the powers of their contracted Myth, though it takes a human's own talent to unlock said powers.

Contractors hold a pivotal part in today's society. From forming the pact between human and Myth, Contractors have severed the line of humanity and reached into the realm of the divine. It was commonplace for Contractors to look down upon those who were regular Humans. Their pacts with Myths made them perceive themselves as higher then others, it didn't help that certain Myths told them they were.

But of course, if the world needed Contractors, there must have been a reason. For if there were Myths who loved and contracted with humans, there were those who didn't. And since these evil Myths wreaked havoc on the world, Contractors were sent out to stop them, succeeding and providing more fame for their family, clan, and themselves. Truly Contractors were the ultimate form of defense against evil myths, much to their own arrogance.

Until one day, that all changed with a single Human defeating a Myth, with nothing but their fists. The world was flipped upside down as more Human's began fighting without the help of Contracts, to the shock and awe of other Humans and even Contractors. It came to a point that several famous Contractors decided to confront the Human that had defeated the Myth to see what all the hype was.

The Contractors were completely defeated by the person. When asked how he did it, his simple reply was:

"You idiot's forget, for all the power those Myths had, in all they're stories, they were beaten by a couple Humans with technique and skill. Why should today be any different? If a man hardens himself and trains his own strength, even gods can be beaten with Martial Arts!"

And that day, another faction was born. A faction that didn't need pacts with Myths to gain strength. Only their own fists, skill, and will to battle against evil Myths and infamous Contractors.

Martial Artists: Humans that have overcome the limitations of their own body and ascended to a plan of supernatural strength, all by their own techniques, power, and will. Martial Artists are different from Contractors in the simple fact that they rely on their own strength. Techniques and skills passed down from the ages from Master to Student, Independent arts learned from the struggle of surviving, or even techniques learned from observing the world and its mysteries, all this provided Martial Artists with the strength to rival Contractors. A Martial Artist unlocks the very power of their own soul, often labeled as Ki/Chi, Chakra, with many other terms used to empower their own body and bolster their techniques. A Martial Artist could just as easily destroy a mountain with their fists similar to how a Contractor could do the same with a lightning bolt from their establish contract. It's all up to the Martial Artist to what Art they will learn, what Technique to use, and their own will to determine how far they will go.

And so, the world was introduced to a new way of life. A Martial Artist didn't need a contract to take down a rampaging behemoth, they could take it down with their own blades and fists. The Martial Artist faction was merged into the world, working with and opposing the Contractors at the same time. The Contractors viewed the Martial Artists as filthy, undeserving, and wretched existences, while the Martial Artists viewed Contractors as whiny, spoiled rotten, stick up their arses, dickheads. And while they publicly opposed one another, they still managed to work together to protect this world.

Eventually, what started as bitter hatred, calmed down into general dislike. A system was established to make fighting evil myths and contractors easier. Now the organization: Shura, keeps guard of the world, utilizing Contractors and Martial Artist together to protect our world.

This is where our story starts, in the current era, technology thrives, skyscrapers loom, vehicles drive all across the nations, and even today Myhs, Contractors, and Martial Artists are every day things.

Shura has created an academy that you are about to attend as a Contractor or Martial Artist. The students of both sides have a strong rivalry towards the other, since Shura Academy has split the school into three parts.

The Contractor course: Made for Contractors to become more in tune with their abilities and pacts. The teachers here are Contractors who have years of experience with their abilities. This side is watched over the Contractor Student Council, who maintain a certain order within their grounds and have been known to throw a fancy party or two.

The Martial Artist course: For Martial Artists to train their bodies to the utmost limit and master their arts. The teachers here are Martial Artists who have seen countless techniques and battles. This side is wathced over by the Martial Artist Student Council, who let their students roam free and discover their own sense of self, have been know to start random school battle royals.

And in the middle lies the Grand Council: The five students who are known as the strongest in the school, run by the school's strongest student. They're the ones who decide what missions for students are handed out, when tournaments are held, and mediate between the two other councils.

Shura Academy is where the youth of today gather, to test their strength and eventually join Shura. Young Contractors and Martial Artists alike hone their abilities through missions, tournaments, and events to one day join Shura.

But for now, these young minds....usually end up fighting each other, blow up parts of the school, and start parties/battle royals for the fun of it.

So be you Contractor or Martial Artist, come to Shura Academey to test your might. Prove your pantheon's pact reigns supreme, that your fists could challenge even the gods! Fight on young men and women! Show your might and bow to no one!

Welcome to Shura Academy new students and returning students! Get ready for the school year! Let your fighting spirits burn, let your youth run wild, let the age of myths and martial arts burn in your hearts to become number one!

As the alarm clock blaired in his ear, a groan came from Cayde's lips. As he slowly got up and turned the alarm clock off, he saw how spread around the sheets were and smiled. "Wild night," he thought silently to himself as he turned to a woman sleeping beside him on the bed. This was Morgan McClain, the lover of his life. Many asked him how in the living hell could he love such a stoic and cold woman, but for some reason, he couldn't resist her. Many a woman had tried to vie for Cayde when he was bachelor, but no one ever expected that the cold and hard Morgan McClain would be the one, a woman who some called even colder than the Samurai of Samurai. However, unknown but to the keenest of eyes, both of them had hearts, but Maya showed it way more than Morgan. However, he knew, deep inside of him, she cared for him.

As he turned on the TV, he turned to the daily announcements to see Ryo Kantar, the current Grand Emperor. Normally, Cayde wouldn't mind the man being so lax, but the problem was the work he was supposed to do affects the entire school. Sure, Cayde didn't have much work to do as he only dealt with those that REALLY mess up, but at least he helped Morgan with her more heavy workload while Ryo drank and fucked, shirking the rest of his responsibilities. This infurated Cayde to the highest degree, and he hoped that he or someone else would be strong enough to dethrone him

As he put on the morning brew of coffee, he poured to cups, one for him and one for Morgan. He soon walked over to her and placed the cup of coffee beside and, smiling, kissed her on the cheek and said "Morning sweetie,"

William Rundell Haus-Code
f457293b029d2cf591b4340d142411fb--anime-male-anime-kawaii.jpg

The Haus-Code family. One of the big shots in the contractor society. A very prestigious group with many other family branches and connections that afford them a vast amount of influential and magical power. They had been considered one of the most powerful anti-evil myth families out there and even helped sponsor Shura during its infancy. However, this fame was soon overshadowed by the appearance of the Kantar family who displayed feats of unparalleled strength and power that far outclassed the Haus-Code. Whilst still one of the most powerful contractor families, many more families of both contractors and martial artists groups have risen up to challenge their superiority.

William Rundell Haus-Code was one such individual that had been caught in the crossfire.

"Welcome, welcome. It's good to see you. Thank you for choosing Shura. Just over there, through that door." William was at the front gates of the main school grounds, greeting the new students as they streamed by, answering any questions that needed answers and generally just pointing people in the right direction. As the Vice-President on the Contractor's Student Council, it was good to make an appearance and show his face before all the new arrivals. It would make them feel more comfortable and welcomed, give the school a friendly atmosphere and make himself look likeable and approachable. William liked to think he wasn't too concerned about his own image, but pride was certainly one of his biggest sins in his daily life.

Appearances were not the only reason that William was stationed by the main gate, however. He was also in direct sight of a particular tree that a particular Grand Emperor liked to frequent when he deemed sleep to be of the essence when it definitely was not. William was to report Ryo Kantar's whereabouts to President Maya Kurokami if the monster of a martial artist was seen to be once again slacking on his duties. William wasn't a coward, but he definitely was not brave enough to attempt to wake the guy up. He had seen what had happened to the last Grand Emperor for himself.

"Pardon, sorry?" He had been too busy daydreaming about that fateful day the school hierarchy had been flipped completely upside down. William quickly snapped back to reality as a female student asked him where the bathrooms were, "Oh, through those doors, take a left and its the fourth on the right. Yes, the fourth one." He smiled as the girl hurried off, arms full of books and a rucksack larger than twice the size of her head. William shook his head and grinned ruefully, he remembered when that had been him once upon a time. Always rushing about to be the best, no time to wait, no patience, constantly doing something. Well that last part hadn't changed, William was always busy with studies, or helping other with studies, the occasional party, Student Council meetings, other events, missions, what little social life he could scrounge up from his already fairly tight schedule.

Glancing back out to the thick stream of young able-minded bodies yearning to learn, William placed his hands behind his back, puffed out his chest and adorned his friendliest, most professional smile and got back to work greeting the new arrivals. He was, of course, in his school uniform, washed, ironed and pressed to perfection so that he was looking his best for today. After this, he would have some work to attend to before he could begin his first training session of the day. It was going to be a good start today, William could already feel it.

(Open to anybody just arriving at the school or at the front gate, or anyone on the Contractor StuCo that needs to call him for something.)

Morgan grunted in annoyance and closed her eyes more tightly as the sound of an alarm clock filed the room. Now slightly awake she could feel movement beside her but refused to open her eyes, she was clinging onto the hope that she would be able to fall back asleep. Unfortunately the sound of a coffee blender from somewhere nearby and the sound of a TV kept her awake. Finally she felt a light warmth on her cheek and her eyes slowly opened to see her boyfriend Cayde leaning over her.

"Good morning" she mumbled as she slowly sat up. Blinking the blur out of her eyes she quickly came to realize that the sheets and blankets around the bed were in a scattered mess and she was wearing nothing but one of Cayde's larger shirts. Memories of the night before flashed through her head. It definitely explained why she was so tired. Reaching her hand out she took hold of the cup of coffee and sipped at it. Morgan really didn't like coffee that much but she would drink it anyway. After all Cayde had taken the time to make it and poor her a glass, plus the energy booster wasn't bad. Putting the cup back on the nightstand and shakily stood up on her tip toes to try and get the tired feeling out of her legs. "I suppose we should get ready to head out." she said in a more lighter version of her normal bland emotionless tone.

He chuckled internally to himself as she stood up to look at him, with her shaking, trying to get up. Was he that rough? He shook it from his mind and helped her get up slowly saying "Probably should, but you don't have to rush honey, I doubt some Contractor is going to get into trouble this soon,". He warmly kissed her and after a minute, broke the kiss, saying "Suprised we didn't have one of the other councilors come up and tell us to quite down. Anyway, so, do we have anything special today going on or is it just normal routine?". He began to stretch. She was beautiful and he was glad to see her with some emotion on her rather than the cold, emotionless persona she usually had on. He tried to get her to lighten up around other people but all of his attempts fail

"I doubt any of the lower councilors would care enough and the Grand Councilors have a bigger problem than our little noise complaint." She responded to him. Her eyes scanned around the room until she located what she was looking for. Her uniform was laying over on the floor next to two long objects that were about as long as she was tall, wrapped in fabric, and leaning up against the wall. Those would be her twin spears Gae buide and Gae Derg. Unless she was doing something with them she always kept the wrapped up as to not accidentally injure herself or someone else. After all when you have a spear that inflects wounds that don't heal you have to be careful.

Turning back to Cayde she pointed towards the direction of the shower. "Today is the first day of the new school year. That means new students, new troublemakers, new victims, and of course we don't know what trouble our Grand Emperor might cause. Now you or me first?" As she spoke Cayde could here the hint of venom in her voice as she said grand emperor.
Ghost Toast Ghost Toast

He sighed. Cayde knew she hated him as much if not more than Cayde, which was saying something. He walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder, saying "Hun, look, I know you've been told this and you probably think it's old, but seriously, if he tries to hit on you or touch you in any way, find me and I will deal with him. I've... I've also been meaning to get into contact with Grand Wealth and Order, as well as the Martial Arts and Contracter councils to discuss him. He needs to be dealt with and trust me, we will. Anyway, I probably need to take one first, bet you they won't take it well if I don't show up,". He then kissed her again before grabbing his clothes and heading for the shower. Kyo had to be dealt with, he had to be, either he would be dethroned by combat, or by a coup, he not let this school go into squander because of this guy

Even though it had been some time now that the new Grand Emperor had taken over, it was still the general buzz that seemed to permeate every inch of Shura Academy. It seemed that just about everyone had an opinion about the new Grand Emperor, and very rarely was it a good one.
42d4b26a7e9d4833a7d0d41f9e6210d7--muscle-tank.jpg

Dante looked up at the Academy as he approached. Even after spending three years here, he could still remember the slightly daunting sense of wonder he had felt when he first arrived. The place was absolutely immense, and every last student here was a capable fighter. Oh yes, Dante could remember well that little fluttering sensation that buzzed in his chest when he first arrived. There was nothing in this world as uniquely enticing to a true warrior than being in the company of equals or betters. In the case of the former, they could be friends, rivals, worthy opponents. In the latter case, you had challenges, obstacles, goals to be overcome. As long as there was someone out there that could match or beat you, there was always new heights to reach.

That, after all, was why he was here....

Of course, that's not to say there wasn't some... entertainment to be had from those not quite on the same level...

A subtle smirk danced across his features. Up ahead, off to either side in what they thought was perfect concealment, were three particular middle schoolers laying in wait for him to pass. Upon his arrival, Dante had been intrigued to find that there were other practitioners of Kami no Arashi at this school. Or, at least, there were aspiring practitioners. This particularly rambunctious trio had yet to earn the privilege to actually train in Kami no Arashi. For now, they were still working their way through the Four Exercises, those fundamentals whose mastery was a prerequisite to actual training.

They all had promise. In the short time since their first encounter, they had already grown by leaps and bounds in their training. Before, their Aura Contain was so flimsy that Dante could spot them from across the school. Now, though, they had their aura almost completely contained except for a thin layer that remained on the surface.. It was those small impurities in their Aura Contain that Dante could see with his own Aura Sense. Even still, it was a sign of progress. Were they in a crowd, such a minor thing could have resulted in them being overlooked entirely.

Even if their attempted ambush was foiled before it could even begin, Dante saw no reason not to let them try out their plan. Besides, it would be an ideal way to see how they had progressed in the other Exercises over the recent break.

So, with no change in his demeanor to indicate he was aware of the impending plot, Dante strode forward with his usual gait. Just as he drew level with their hiding place, he saw a spike in aura out of the corner of his eye. Brash, impatient, and full of an obscene amount of energy that seemed to have no limit, Tonaru was already lunging for him, his right fist glowing so slightly with Aura.

'His Aura Release seems to have gotten better... He's been practicing'

With a sideways step and a subtle push with his palm, the attack was redirected such that the boy's midair balance came completely undone. In that moment where Tonaru started to slip, the other two shot forth in tandem. Not that he expected much less from the Twins. They weren't as inclined to take the incentive, but their combined attacks were certainly impressive for their age.

Not that it made too much difference.

The so-called 'ambush' lasted a total of maybe five minutes. In that time, the trio of aspiring practitioners had thrown everything but the kitchen sink at Dante, but he didn't even need to move from his spot at any time during the assault. The three sat down in front of him, trying to catch their breath. "I thought we... had him.... that time!" One managed to breathe out.

"You've all gotten a lot better at Aura Contain, and I can see you've been working on your Control and Release as well. You've nothing to be ashamed of." Dante praised, but Tonaru just crossed his arms over his chest. "Yeah, but you didn't even need to use the Fourth Exercise!"

A soft chuckle escaped the older boy's lips. "True, but that is only because I have been at this a lot longer than the three of you. Don't fret that detail too much. Rome wasn't built in a day, nor was a great warrior created overnight. Continue your training at this rate and I have little doubt the three of you will have me sleeping with one eye open in no time" He smiled down at them, reaching a palm down to pat each of them on the head.

The encouragement seemed to lift all of their spirits. Perhaps that was why Dante saw himself as a big brother to these three: They all were just like him. For them, he was that stronger opponent, that daunting obstacle they wanted to overcome, and that challenge is what fueled them forward. Yes, he saw himself in them.

"Now... you three better hurry along now. Training or not, you still need to be in class on time." Dante chided, his back straightening as he stood up. The three popped back up to their feet immediately. "Hai, Thank you Senpai!" The three echoed in chorus before dashing off towards the middle school part of the campus.

Why did it always feel so damn good to be called Senpai?

Perhaps because he knew, sometime in the future, those adorable Kohai of his were going to get stronger and really keep him on his toes.

Now, what had he been thinking about before that fun little warmup? Oh yes, the new Grand Emperor. For his part, Dante had no real interactions with him, so really he had no judgement to pass yet. That's not to say he approved of how he acted or anything like that. It just meant he hadn't done anything to Dante to really trigger strong feelings one way or the other.

Taking a moment, he adjusted his clothes after that little warm-up, making sure to smooth out any wrinkles in his clothing. Not that there ever were. After a series of unfortunate misunderstandings when he first arrived, he had switched from more traditional, loose fitting clothing to what he now wore. Granted, he still preferred the looser fit to his pants, but at the very least he wore a tighter fitting shirt to prevent further misconceptions.

Even with the different attire, though, there was still his hair. A subtle breeze caused his long, dark hair to dance in the breeze. This, unfortunately for him, worked against his efforts. Brushing a stray strand of hair back into place, he finally proceeded the last short distance to reach the front gates of Shura Academy.

He reached back a hand to touch the hilt of his special blades. Even now, he got that familiar flutter in his chest to approach the gates. Anticipation was building in him. What would this new term have in store now that a new Grand Emperor was on the throne?

Fucking hell this was exciting!

Sunshine Denvers & Itsuki Shao Ping

In synced, but without even knowing, the two girls had just woke up from their sleep. After letting out their loud groans, they both get off the bed and head to the kitchen to cook up their breakfast. For Sunshine, it is just bacon, eggs, toasted bread, and orange juice. For Itsuki, it is just a breaded porkchop on top of a bed of rice in a bowl, served with iced tea. They then eat their breakfast, all while watching their favorite morning time shows. It did not took them a while until the two have finished eating.

After breakfast, they head on to their bathrooms and take their showers. Again, it did not took them long enough, mainly because they are in a hurry. After taking their showers, they begin to prep themselves. While prepping, Sunshine was thinking about bringing her weapon to school, in case if something happens. Do they even allow students to bring their weapons? Sunshine had been thinking for a moment until she finally decides to bring it with her. Itsuki did the same. With all the preparations completed, it is now time for them to head to the main school.

Upon arrive at the front gates, Sunshine notices Itsuki, who did not seem to notice her. She quietly sneaks up to her blonde sister and planted a kiss on her cheek, surprising her. "S-S-Sunshine!" Itsuki yelled, her face flushed red and holding up the spot where Sunshine's kiss has been placed. She obviously did not expect that. The blonde looked at her redhead sister, who has put up a smile on her face. "I just happen to miss you, ya know." Sunshine says, which is relatively true knowing that being separated in different factions is really hard for them to cope up. Itsuki let's out a sigh, her face back to its normal tone. "Don't just kiss me like that. It doesn't feel very exciting for me." She says, seeming that the kiss did not even satisfy her good.

"Aww..." Sunshine says in dismay "But I thought you would love it. How many times would I have to kiss my own sister in the cheeks to make her look happy?" That statement made Itsuki felt weird. She made an awkward look before she says "Don't say that. People might look at us as a weird pair of sisters." Sunshine looks around the people who are standing on the gates, and she believes that they seem to not mind. "Aren't they listening?" She asked "I don't think they are knowing that they are too busy with themselves." Itsuki would look around the people, and seeing as they don't even mind the sisters, she looks at Sunshine and say "No."

Morgan waited until Cayde left and she was alone in the room. She was still standing next to the bed so she held out her arms and let herself fall backwards onto the bed with a Plop. "If it does happen it's not like you can do anything about it. None of us can." she mumbled to herself. Pushing those thoughts away she began to focus on the sound of the running water. Hopefully he wouldn't take long. Every moment she was in her something could be happening that she needed to stop. Unlike her and Cayde most Martial arts and Contractor students didn't get along let alone fell in love with each other. This made Morgan the Black sheep of not only her family but the Contractors as well.

Of course she still had her own bias against martial arts students. If she was forced to choose a group of people to be locked in a room with and Cayde wasn't an option than she would choose Contractors any day over martial art students. That's not saying that Contractors didn't have their annoying habits. They did of course but at least she could relate to them. Most martial artist just seemed like no good tricksters or fighting obsessed brutes. This way of thinking is one of the many many many reasons why she hated their current Grand Emperor.
Ghost Toast Ghost Toast

As Cayde bathed, he sighed. Many did wonder why he choose a Contracter to be his lover, considering the fact that he was a Martial Artist. However, this divide he could give less of a shit about. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that he could beat the ever loving shit out of most Contractors and Martial Arts to, more people would have a problem with their relationship. It just baffled him why these people couldn't together, but that was human nature: To fight each other to death, no matter the difference. He sighed as he got of the shower and finished, putting his clothes on and freshing himself up. He put on Morgan's favorite colonge for him and soon walked out the door and smiled at her as she laid on the bed. He slowly walked to her and held her hand saying "Gotta go, Morgan. Love you,". He then kissed her and left the room, heading downstairs

As he walked down to the front gate and saw the onslaught of students come in, he smiled. Unlike the lazy Grand Emperor, he would actually do his job and great these new comers. He prayed that, maybe, maybe one of them could challenge the Grand Emperor. However, till then, he would wait, and train to fight the Grand Emperor. He hoped he would be able to build his Ki Block to prevent him for Ki Blocking the Ki Block ("God, that's a lot of Ki," he thought to himself) and so he stood, waiting to see if anyone would approach him

(Open)

Now with Cayde gone Morgan could go do what she needed to do. She took a quick shower, brushed her hair, brushed her teeth, and got dressed in her uniform. Before she left she made sure to grab her two wrapped up spears. She ducked her head under the strap so that the Spears would hang on her back. If you hadn't seen what those spears were capable of then you would probably think she looked funny. All you had to do was ask the ones who had revived a cut from either of the weapons and they would tell you it isn't very funny. As she left the dorm she made sure the door was locked before heading out into the halls of the Martial arts dorms. No one bothered her on her way out. Either people thought she belonged here or they new that messing with her wasn't the brightest idea.

Once she had finally reached the main gates of the school she was greeted by the site of a large number of students. Whether they were new or returning didn't matter. As long as they didn't cause trouble they weren't her problem. Scanning the crowd she caught site of her VP William by the front gates. Swiftly she made her way over to the man. "Any incidents" asked Morgan once she got close enough to him that she wouldn't have to yell. As she spoke her normal stoic persona took hold, allowing not even a drop of emotion enter into her voice.

Eric hadn't been this nervous since the day when he joined Shura Academy. Really, it should just be another year, second verse same as the first. Still, there was no way for him to think like that. Not after the sudden shift in power regarding the new Grand Emperor, not after the tumult and rumors of internal disarray within the student councils since that had been circulating all over school grounds. That and, more importantly to Eric himself, he had finally begun his first college year at Shura Academy. The leap in expectations was astonishing, as was the way the courses, now hand-picked by the young man himself, were taught. He could only hope to keep up and hold himself to the standard that he had kept all throughout high school.

Perhaps a bit overzealously, he had prepared himself to a far greater degree than what was perhaps really necessary for the course. A bit of Silverbrand money could get an aspiring student any textbook that they could ask for, and that was what he had used. Advanced subjects, elaborations on already present subjects and additional material that the course had never even asked for made up the majority of the tall stack of books that Eric was struggling to keep balanced in his hands as he carried them with him through the school gates. With this almost cartoonish amount of reading material, he was struggling his way forward, careful to not knock anyone over, have his own impressive stack of books knocked over or getting stuck in the chaotic crowd of first-years. With his short stature, youthful face, worried expression and ridiculous amount of books, he could easily be mistaken for one of those first-years, not that he thought of the fact. To his dismay, fights had already begin brewing on the school grounds, not that he had really been expecting anything else. It only made the school entrance harder to navigate but, as always, he didn't argue or call anyone out, of course they would be eager to test their abilities. He couldn't blame them. So instead, he focused on the task at hand, getting into the damned school, tripping back and excusing himself with his usual sincere, joyful smile whenever he bumped into anyone ("Aha, oh, excuse me." "I am so sorry!" "Oops, my bad!") As he darted forward, zig-zagging between the various other students.

As always, Eric's choice of attire was... A bit eye-catching. A white form-fitting turtleneck layered under a thin, loose, flowing blouse striped in white and pastel blue. His jeans too were white and fit snugly to his hips and legs, before moving into the black autumn boots he had picked for contrast. A pair of thin, black armbands adorned one of his slender wrists. A string in black leather ran around his neck, the necklace ending in a white, red-eyed plastic rabbit's head and his ears glittered with a pair of diamond stud earrings. In his own mind, he looked great, and he certainly made the outfit work, though anyone that knew Eric would likely shake their head at the very, well, "Eric" choice of attire.

As more and more students walked by, William a growing sense of hopefulness building within him. He was likely not the only one hoping that there would be a new unknown student with monstrous power that was also reliable enough to do their duties, one such person that would also challenge the current Grand Emperor and win. Perhaps it was wishful thinking, perhaps it was foolish. William liked to believe in hope, despite his pessimism. It sometimes came with benefits after all.

Turning slightly to the side, William noticed Student Council Disciplinary Contractor Morgan McClain approach him from the martial arts school. A disapproving frown formed on his brow for a moment, which quickly disappeared as Morgan spoke up, "Nothing of too much concern has occurred just yet. I'll keep you updated on any developments." William leaned to the side to reveal a small golden portal hovering before him. In the portal was a bird's eye view looking down upon a group of individuals that had been vigorously sparring for a good five minutes. Whilst fighting off school grounds and outside of lessons/training was generally frowned upon, such occurrences were not really punished by any applicable school laws. And no one actually cared all that much about a little rough housing anyway, especially given the nature of their new Grand Emperor, who seemed to settle any and all dispute that way.

William took a moment to assess Morgan, running an eye up and down her form. Her uniform looked tidy and there wasn't much out of place with her belongings. Her demeanour was about as closed as it usually was, but William had gotten used to it by now. He noticed the weary eyes and tired stance, however. Someone had not been getting much sleep.

"Rough night last night?" It was an innocent enough question to ask, for William couldn't possibly know what she and her boyfriend had gotten up to the previous night. That, and he was too embarrassed to admit he had accidentally teleported himself via a portal into their room unnoticed, right as they were in the middle of the act. He hadn't been seen and had left immediately, but it certainly left the Vice-President feeling a little uncomfortable. William liked Morgan, she was a good friend and a very reliable, dependable person. He did not like the fact that she was dating a martial artist, however, but decided not to argue against it out of consideration for their StuCo Disciplinary Contractor. Needless to say, if Cayde laid a finger out of place on her, William would be the first to come angrily knocking on the guy's door.

Kaitlynn was simply following the flow of her fellow newcomers, dressed in one of the school uniforms she was given. Her parents hadn't exactly been supportive of her joining this school. Her older brother, on the other hand, was extremely excited of her bringing the family back into the life of martial arts. He helped her pack and even drove her to the front gates. Being practically brand-new to this world, she hadn't anyone to talk to. Although no one knew her face, she heard a someone talking about "The Way family finally getting back into the business." She suspected her brother as the one who started that bit of gossip. Lugging around her overfilled backpack and dragging her wheeled suitcase behind her, she seemed to have walked into the courtyard right in the aftermath of a fight, with a clear winner. An older student was talking to three others, who had obviously failed against him. She walked past them and found someone who seemed to be away from the general crowd, not currently talking to anyone or moving toward the school. She approached him sheepishly, and began to ask him a question she suspected he'd already answered dozens of times today. "Uh.. Excuse me... I think I've lost my schedule for today, was there any sort of- uh- event planned for the freshman?"

As he walked, he wished her could be with Morgan right now. He loved to be near her, her sent and all. He smiled at that thought of her when he noticed a student approach him. He smiled at her and said "Hey, don't worry about it kid, I'll bring you to the front office and we'll get you another schedule of your classes. Anyway, ya, we're doing an orientation for all of the new students and it'll be inside the gym. So, if you want that new schedule, might want to follow me. Also, what's your name kid?". He then began to walk towards the office, motioning her forward

"Understood" Morgan said in response to Williams update. When he showed her the portal she glanced at it out of the corner of her eye but didn't really pay much attention to it. She trusted that she would be ordered into action if something serious came up. When William asked about a rough night Mrogan merely responded with a simple "Something like that." as she leaned back against the gate. Keeping her attention on the students she scanned the faces of everyone she could with lazer like focus. A focus that was only broken by the cawing of a crow overhead.

Morgan turned her head up to see the bird circling up ahead. She extended her left arm and the crow quickly descended landing gently on her arm. Morgan took the index finger of her other hand and ran it down the birds back in a soothing motion. The bird cawed two more times in response before taking off again. "Your portal is accurate. So far only a few rumbles have taken place.". Morgan new she didn't have to check to make sure Williams portals were accurate. She new him long enough to trust the man when he said everything was alright but Morgan still felt the need to keep watch over the new students.

Trey Wolf

Trey leant on a tree with a slight frown on his face and folded arms. He simply watched as new faces showed up, but didn't bother making any further notice of them. Soon enough they'd be mixing in with old ones and it'd all just become a backdrop in the end.
White noise, is what he considered the overwhelming amount of voices.
His eyes slowly glossed over the scenery as his head sluggishly turned to accompany them, landing on a few brawls happening off of the main path to the school. Jesus, were these guys already slapping each other?
"Hotheads..." he thought, turning away from the duels. His gaze landed on a... boy? Maybe? Kinda looked like a flat-chested, short haired girl, to be honest. Anyway, his eyes landed on an "it" carrying a ridiculous amount of school supplies.
Trey stared at this figure trying to maneuver his way through the sea of students while trying to balance the world's thickest Jenga tower known to man. On one hand, Trey wanted to see just how much of a mess those books could create when tumbled over, but on the other... if it was a girl, then she was very cute. He might even try to hit something off with her.
Deciding that he felt lucky today, Trey walked towards the blonde haired human. He instantly began regreating this choice when he realized just how much people was actually coming in, and how much he had to squeeze through them. He got pushed around and yelled at a lot, which did annoy him, but he tolerated it anyway.
Finally approaching the blonde haired creature, he attempted to speak over the afforementioned white noise.
"Hey, do you need some help with that?"

"Uh.. I'm Kaitlynn.. Way," She said, adding her last name as if she'd forgotten to at first. She started along with the older student, glad to have found someone to show her around. She kept stealing glances around at the students, very few of which were actually dressed in the school uniform. Most of them were in small groups, talking very loudly to be heard over the others who were doing the exact same thing. What really caused groups to get this loud? If Everyone just stayed quiet, you wouldn't have to shout to be heard. She absent-mindedly played with one of the straps of her backpack while following her guide.

Sunshine Denvers & Itsuki Shao Ping

"Man, its getting a bit too boring with just the two of us." Itsuki says "I'm thinking of adding a third wheel. What would you say?" Sunshine begins to think about the possible persons who could be their third friend. She looks around the area and notices a boy with an eye-catching outfit. "Hey sis..." Sunshine says "How about that guy there? I think he looks cool." Itsuki turns to the said person and noticing the unusual outfit he is wearing, she says "Maybe he could work. Come, let's have a little chit chat with him."

Eric Silverbrand, you'll become a one lucky bastard. The sisters approaches the boy, who would soon notices them. "Excuse me..." Itsuki says "But this is a school, not a runway show. But hey, who cares about the rules anyways? The council are always a bunch of fuck-ups who don't do their job right. Anyways, mind telling us who you are?"

He took her up to the office and the woman sitting behind the desk said "Ah, Mister Banks, someone already make trouble today?". He laughed at her and said "You know I would look way more pissed if that was the case. Now, I need you to print up Katherine Way's schedule for me,". He then saw the paper be printed and walked to the printer, grabbing it and walking back to the girl. She looked so docile, but he didn't mind. He gave her the paper and said "Well, guess I better introduce myself. I'm Cayde, Cayde Blanks, pleasure to meet you,". He then extended his hand for her to shake

Humming a merry tune Nikolaus skipped through the crowd, uncaring of their disgruntled grumblings. Splitting the crowd of new students he waved at people who stared at him, who averted their eyes quite quickly. While he was reluctant to the prospect of staying in one place for several years, he found himself forgetting about that as his Father told him that people just like him attended this school. Swinging his arms back and forth, he seemed to be a fountain of energy. As he passed through the gates he looked onto the towering school building. Looking around he found an interesting person through the cracks in the crowd of newcomers. A blonde man with flashy clothings, though he was a bit of a hypocrite with what he was wearing...

Picking up his pace Nikolaus strode through the crowd and came up towards the man and found two people also there, All of them taller than him— in fact nearly everyone here was.

"Guten Tag, Friends! I hope your morning ist good?" Grinning he raised his hand and waved to them, though it was unnecessary seeing as he was right next to them.

With all the noise, commotion and the intense focus Eric had to devote to keeping his tower of literature from falling over, it actually took him a fair bit of time to register that he had actually been spoken to. By multiple people, even. At first he looked up, noting the presence of a taller, black-haired boy. Still, with all the background noise, it took him a bit to actually register what had been said but once he did, his face beamed with a radiant, genuine smile. Someone was already showing up to help him! A complete stranger, at that. Sometimes he forgot how great people could actually be. "Oh, sure!" He turned towards Trey, taking a step back to make it easier for him to saddle some of the burden he had put on himself. "Thank you so much. It's not actually hard to lift." He explain truthfully, contractor strength making this collection of textbooks little more than air to him. "The stack is just so tall, it's hard to keep balanced. If you could take something off the top, I'd really appreciate it." He laughed a bit, a low, giggling sound. "Maybe I overdid it with the books, thinking about it. I just figured you're better off well-prepared rather than underprepared, you know?"

Then, his attention was pulled from the other student by a pair of girls, a blonde and a redhead. For a moment, what Itsuki said didn't really register and he blinked in confusion. Then the intended burn sunk in and his smile faltered a bit, fading into a troubled pout of sorts. "Oh, no, no. I'm a college freshman, I don't have an uniform." His smile returned at that, as he assumed that he had cleared up that confusion. "Besides, it's not as if the uniform is really mandatory and you know, I like this outfit. Why, doesn't it work on me?"

Breaking up the conversation for a second, Eric made sure to wave and smile at the friendly greeting from the boy waving at him and speaking in what he... Assumed to be an European accent of some kind. Swedish? German? He wasn't sure. "Good morning!" He called back with another bright smile before turning back to his three conversational partners.

"Well, looks like we also get ourselves fourth wheel then." Itsuki mutters upon the presence of Nikolaus. She turns back to Eric and says "So you're newbie then, and I think that outfit looks very fitting for you. That's fine, I'm sure you'll soon get used to this school's rather chaotic system, same also to you, other guy."

"We should have thought about this before, but we haven't introduced ourselves yet." Sunshine says "I'm Sunshine Denvers, and this my sister, Itsuki Shao Ping. Who might you two be? You both look like very interesting people to be with." The sisters seems to have gotten an interest onto the two. How neat.

Seung Ju
A blue car parked out in front of the large imposing school as the door on both sides opened up. Stepping out the driver side was a tall man with a full beard that went down the full length of his neck. He looked like someone who lived in the mountains which he in fact did. On his large arms were tattoos covering the entire length of them each one representing a different trial he had gone through in his life. None of the many life or death trials he had faced were as troublesome as the reason he was here. From the other side of the car stepped out that very reason a short girl wearing a panda hoodie. Her hair was short and messy her bangs hung just above her eyes one side slightly longer than the other. Her skin pale like a ghost looking at her one would think they could snap her in two. When she really thought about it most of the people who went to this academy most likely could. Stepping closer to the large school she took a deep breath letting out a satisfied exhale. "Do you smell that Uncle?" The man looked out at the school taking in a deep breath as well to see if he smelt it too. "Are you referring to the smell of hard work?" He hoped she would say yes but he knew all too well what her answer was going to be.

She turned to him her eyes sparkled with a look he had grown to fear. "No Uncle it smells of opportunity!"
tumblr_mbj5c91F1V1qjzgp3o1_500.gif

Seung's uncle looked away for a moment shaking his head at her then looked her in her eyes. "I only hope you take that said opportunity to better yourself. I beg of you Seung please do not get up to any of your usual tricks." With a saddened look she turned away from her Uncle tears fell from her eyes. "Uncle do you not trust me your only niece?" His stone face didn't not flinch at the tears he only sighed in disapproval. "You may cease your act Seung I've seen you cry your crocodile tears far too many times." Seung wiped the tears from her face a smile replacing them as she snapped a finger. "You also were a lot quicker to catch on then the others. Goodbye Uncle I shall see you again at a later date." She skipped off to the school her Uncle opening his car door and getting in sighed once more. Speaking only to himself within the car as he started it. "I pray you are a better person when that time comes." Seung entered the school to find a large crowd of people ending her skipping and now walking through the crowd. For this moment she decided to adopt a social attitude to first get the lay of the land. So as she passed people she waved and greeted them with a smile on her face. "Hello. Nice to meet you. Morning. Lovely day. A good day to you sir." Some of the students she waved to waved back others seemed to ignore her some just gave her side glances and went back to speaking with their already forming social groups. One said group had a nice clump of colorful characters when she saw them she knew she had to join in.
tumblr_mdrajaozPK1rge4kwo2_500.gif

So she walked over to the group but it'd be far too plain to just approach so she instead ghosted the group from within the large crowd. Then when she saw her chance she rushed in grabbing hold of Nikolaus' hands tears of joy on her face. "It's you it's really you after all these years we've finally met once more. My dear prince charming you remember me correct please say you have. It would break my fragile heart to learn your once locked off memories haven't returned!"
