History: Born to a gym leader and a former Team Galatic member, she was born in Canalave City where she grew up for the first three years of her life. When she turned four, her mother was attacked for her past by someone whose life had been ruined by Team Galatic and the family was forced to flee. Personality: Seemingly always positive, Caspian is very outgoing. He's quite friendly, and likes to talk his head off whenever he has the chance to. Whether it be with an acquaintance or close friend, he treats them both the same. Caspian, being quite young, is full of energy and quite excitable. It doesn't take much to impress him, since he finds everything cool and exciting. Thus, when he had first found out about Pokemon, he had made up his mind about what he had wanted to do; become a Trainer. Furthermore, Caspian is very passionate about what he does, making sure he puts his all into doing whatever he's doing at the moment. However, he isn't really the smartest tool in the shed, so he's not very quick at picking things up. He also gets flustered rather easily, especially when things don't go the way he expects them to.

History: Caspian was born as an only child in Lumiose City. His mother was an a Pokemon Performer, while his father was an accomplished Trainer, so he was surrounded by Pokemon from a young age. Whenever he wasn't out playing with friends, helping in his mother's bakery, Cas was always playing around with his parents' Pokemon, which was an early seed for his inspiration. At the turn of his tenth year, Caspian eagerly received his license to become a trainer and had anticipated to finally become a Trainer as well.

Personality
Andy is eager to observe the world around him and somewhat inquisitive. That inquisitiveness has made him very bright in terms of knowledge of nature but has also led to an unhealthy sense of danger because of it. Due to still being young, he is still a little naive, which results in him falling for pranks, such as April Fools pranks. However, when this does happen, he will see it as a learning experience and, in fact occasionally going along with it knowing full well that it’s a prank for the sake of humor. One example of this comes from Rattatas or other prankster pokémon hiding his items all over his home town in Atharia, the pokémon themselves belonging to other trainers. The scavenger hunts don't bother him as he sees the pokémon as being playful or silly. Andy has high morals and won't allow anything to happen to his friends, going out of his way to try and settle disputes between other locals, even though it's clearly none of his business, telling the truth whenever he does something wrong, or just being around for people that have had bad days. This does lead to him getting into some sticky situations, however, such as people ignoring Andy during a dispute, at which point he will leave them alone.

Andy will start out shy to any person or pokèmon but will gradually warm up to them as time goes on and strive above most things to keep his friends happy, beware he will run away from anyone that lashes out at him. Battle-wise Andy favors being more on the defensive side, envisioning pokémon battles to be more like chess matches rather than matches of power preferring to pick his opponents apart with strategy instead.

Born into a quaint, moderately sized house in Twinleaf Town Andy was an introvert at the start of his childhood, clinging mainly to his parents, Bob and Martha Richter for protection due to extreme shyness. This led to him being homeschooled and learning basic reading, writing, and math from them. The parents wanted him to make some friends with any other kids at their favorite spot, which also happens to be where the parents met, Lake Verity, just to the left of Twinleaf. However, if they tried to help him he would run away without saying a word with a very scared expression on his face, thus leading the local kids in Mahogany to label him an oddball.

Thanks to his being breeders he did get to interact with pokemon starting from age 6 , though with parental supervision of course, and only around actual baby pokemon ie Munchlax, Mime jr Bonsly, etc. While he did well in general school, he did seem to brighten up upon heading to his parent's ranch, he and the other pokemon spending time being kids and poke-kids. Being around them also did serve as an inspiration to become a Trainer, which he does by age 11 upon receiving his trainer license and a Piplup as his first pokemon.

Personality: Ophelia has always been a weird kid. She's smart, way smarter than most kids she would've met in school (had she actually gone to public school.) She's also pretty cautious and pretty paranoid. All that childish innocence that even older kids have? It doesn't exist in Ophelia. Despite this Ophelia can still be pretty childish. She's blunt when she does talk, and can be really nosy when she thinks someone is hiding something. Ophelia is also very, very loyal. Being her friend means you have an ally for life, even if you end up betraying her. She doesn't give up on people she truly likes.

History: Ophelia was born in Castelia City to a pair of researchers. While her parents were kind, and caring, they weren't always the most cautious. Ophelia and her little brother Atlas spent a lot of times out in ruins as their parents researched, with way too little supervision. So she ended up becoming independent and cautious really quickly, way to quickly for someone her age. Ophelia also gained a fascination for mythology, all the crazy and magical seeming stories and pokemon that populated the world she lived in. Finally after years of waiting for the day, Ophelia has gotten her trainer license and her starter pokemon from Professor Juniper

When she was a bit younger she was bullied for being a "nerd" and started to put up a colder front in order to stop the bullying.

Personality: Smug, arrogant, and never without his trademark smirk, Tyr is confident to an extreme, a near suicidal extreme sometimes. He doesn't have regrets in anything he does, and he never apologizes. But if you get past that pricky part... he's still a pain, but a decent enough guy. He doesn't bother judging other people, and could care less if you've messed up before either. His focus is always the here and now. I someone has self esteem issues, Tyr will uplift them in his own way, through a series of odd insults. Riling people up is good. Then being down isn't.

History: 13 years ago, two rival gangs fought for control of the land and sea, team Magma and Aqua. And two grunts from both battle eachother to such an extreme that other grunts would stand down rather than get in their way. Hotheaded, brash, and competitive, soon it went from gang fights to Glenn and Saoirse wanting to show eachother up. Until one particular bad earthquake destroyed Saoirse's home. Feeling pity, Glenn allowed his rival to stay... and that's the story of how a team Magma grunt and a Team Aqua Grunt fell in love, and married. The two reformed and moved to Sootopolis, where they had Tyr.

Every day was a battle between the two, but they did care for eachother. Their ego rubbed off of Tyr, who declared he wanted to be a trainer. They were hesitant, both being former criminals, but the professor allowed him to pick a starter. And then he received his letter inviting him to the Terracotta region. He accepted without question, leaving his parents speechless, but proud.

Mala is almost always cool and collected and is quite smart, able to think on her toes very well. She does many things because shes bored and wants something interesting to do, its also how she chooses her friends, which she doesn’t have many of. Pokemon are usually her soft spot though

History: Growing up in Po Town she was surrounded by most crooked types, and while they didn’t exactly threaten her life, she also knew she had to be strong enough to stand up to them. Thats how she grew up really, without a family except for a small community that cared about her, she was all on her own. Around her 12th birthday she had received the letter and license, deciding anywhere else would be more interesting than her home town, she quickly made way to Almia.
